"Amiya, are you comfortable studying there?" Mr-Khanna asked, patting her hair. "Yes dad,I am comfortable. I am beside Arshia di after all" Amiya replied with a gentle smile on her face.
Her father sighed and turned around with papers in his hands, medical papers that is. According to this report, his youngest child is mentally ill and he had no idea how to say it to her.
"Arshia di,this would be correct right?" Amiya asked. Her father looked at her nodding at herself,as if Arshia had replied that she was wrong and started to do the problem once again. The papers were tightly clutched in his hands as his eyes swelled up with tears.
Amiya kept her books and notebooks on a table and walked away, probably to the bathroom.
Their father walked to Arshia with hatred in his eyes.
"It's because of you my children are like this. Amiya is mentally ill and still believes that you would escape coma. My son Rudra dedicates his awards to you and acts as if you are alive! Both my children hold me responsible for your state!"
He raged. Throwing the paper away, his hands made up their way to her neck and gripped her neck tighter.
The machine started beeping loudly and Arshia's dark view started flashing with blue and yellow lights....
"Mata!Mata!" Abhimanyu shook Arshia. Snapping out,Arshia jerked backwards with horror in her eyes. She felt herself moving her fingers around her neck and breathing heavily due to the absence of oxygen. Tears filled her eyes as she felt the pain once again.
"Mata Mata! Are you okay?" Abhimanyu asked worriedly. He sat on Arshia's lap and moved his small hand around her face. Arshia smiled at his worried expression,to ease him down.
"I am fine dear. Don't worry" Arshia's fingers carresed her neck one last time and then made their way to Abhimanyu's cheeks. Abhimanyu drew his fingers back and nodded at her.
"Mata Arshia,I want to go to Pitashree Karna!". Abhimanyu stated excitedly and pleading. Arshia slightly glanced at the shining sun and, with Abhimanyu still in her arm,she stood up and went to her husband.
.
"Pitashree!" Abhimanyu beamed in happiness as he saw Karna near the main staircase. Karna turned around at the sudden call and smiled seeing Abhimanyu in Arshia's arms.
Arshia set him down on the floor as he ran to Karna. Karna went on his knees and opened his arms wide open for him to jump on. Abhimanyu, with his arms spread, jumped at Karna and hugged him as tight as he could. Karna stood up and turned circles earning giggles of joy from Abhimanyu.
Arshia admired from a far and smiled as the memories of Karna and Vrishaketu flashed in her mind.
"What a beautiful sight I am viewing!" A playful gentle tone commented. The three turned their attention to the voice and saw Krishna walking up the stairs.
"Mamashree Krishna!" Abhimanyu giggled. Krishna reached the top of the stairs and ruffled the child's hair.
"Hope you are well Abhimanyu!" Krishna greeted and turned his eyes at Karna. "Hope you are well too, Maharathi Karna!" Krishna greeted with the same energy.
"Hope you are keeping my priye sakhi happy" He continued jokingly. Karna joined his palms, securing Abhimanyu in his arms, and greeted Krishna back.
Krishna then turned to Arshia, who had rather a look of anger on her face. Then he started
"O Priye Sakhi! What's this look?My heart might come out from my chest!and that's the end of me?!" He dramatically exclaimed.
"It's been half a decade or more since I last saw you and, yet, you couldn't take the pain to visit me once?!" Arshia angryly complained.
"Oh sakhi, you didn't need me and, hence I thought there was no need to visit you" He said casually. "So you need a proper reason to meet me now?" Arshia momentarily forgot that she was talking to a god at this point.
Krishna held his ears and sought forgiveness.
"Funny of you to think that I would let you off the hook without a bit of drama" Arshia mumbled, clear to Krishna's ears. "Oh come on!I am your dear sakha! How can you get mad at me?" He whined.
"He is so different from his previous avatar" Arshia mumbled to herself. Peeking behind Krishna, she said "Arya, please feed Abhimanyu."
Turning around she walked away.
"Karna, has she ever got mad at you?" Krishna asked turning to Karna. He shaked his head as a no. "How do I convince her then?" Abhimanyu and Karna looked at each other and laughed.
Krishna pouted and looked at Arshia's dissapearing figure.
.
"Nonsense!" Krishna commented.
Draupadi laughed at Krishna's defensive nature. Arshia rolled her eyes. Subhadra joined Draupadi and laughed at her brother. Krishna sat defeated by the three women with him.
According to Subhadra, Krishna hadn't taken the pain to visit the three of them because he was busy with his 16,108 wives.
"So you deny?" Draupadi raised her eyebrow, swinging softly in her swing. "I don't deny it but..."
It was really a rare sight to see. The protector of the universe,Lord Vishnu himself was in short of words to defend him.
Krishna sighed and shook his head at the three women.
"You three are really unique" Krishna said moving his eyes over the three women. "I don't think you have ever seen Vrishaketu, bharta, have you?" Subhadra questioned.
Krishna glanced at Arshia nervously and shook his head.
"You should meet him. He has heard tales about you and is very eager to meet you." Arshia said, standing up. Krishna followed and stood infront of her. She stared up confused.
"Don't tell me you are still mad at me?" Krishna asked.
"It's impossible to even get mad at you Vasudev"
.
"That's dangerous dear" Draupadi lowered Abhimanyu's arrow. Abhimanyu pouted but nodded at her anyways.
"He will grow up to be a great archer one day, sakhi. Why stop him now?" Krishna asked, leaning against a pillar. "I know Govind but it's dangerous for him"
"It was dangerous when Parth first raised his bow and when he learnt mantras,it was dangerous when Maharathi Karna roamed around for days and climbed a mountain to learn archery and it was dangerous when Arshia first lift up her bow and shoot her arrow. You get nothing in life without going through difficulties, sakhi" Krishna said in a convincing tone.
"Let him learn bhabhishree. I know he is going to grow up being a great archer. Let's take into consideration who his father is" Arshia entered, along with Arjun and smiled at Abhimanyu.
"Parth,Arshia I have to speak to the two of you"
Krishna stated.
Arshia and Arjun looked at each other, with confusion.
