"Putra Abhimanyu, your Pitashree Karna will be on our side.

Be it as Angraj Karna or Maharathi Karna."

Arjun said, caressing Abhimanyu's head.

"Brother Arjun...don't give him false hope. Although he is getting married,he is still a kid." Arshia said. "Arshia, you almost make me feel like you don't want Angraj Karna by our side." Arjun chuckled, ruffling Arshia's hair.

Arshia stepped back at his sudden action.

"What are you even doing?" Arshia glared, fixing her hair.

"I am allowed to do that. You are my younger sister."

"I am younger,not a kid."

"You practically are."

"I am a mother,brother Arjun."

"Doesn't change the fact that you are still younger and like a kid to me."

Vrishaketu and Abhimanyu stepped back, controlling their laughter at their parents kiddish fight.

"Go on,fight in front of our own children." Arshia mumbled in annoyance, fixing her hair for the last time.

"Back to the actual topic, because Arshia finally decides not to interfere,I shall go to Hastinapur and invite Angraj Karna to the wedding. He is the only person my son wants to invite,so desperately. We shall see later whose side he will be on. I am sure this isn't even a question because we have his beloved wife, someone he loves so de-"

"Brother Arjun,we get it." Arshia butted in, shutting his mouth. Arjun bit his lips, controlling his laugh, and nodding.

"You all should...enjoy the feast and spend time. It has been years since you all have met. Vrisha, let me talk to brother Arjun and I shall return to you." Vrishaketu nodded, wrapping his arms around Abhimanyu's shoulder and walking away.

Arshia watched everyone walk away as she turned to Arjun, who had a sweet and calm smile on his face.

"Brother Arjun, Abhimanyu is too attached with Arya Karna and,you being his father,he has unbreakable trust and respect for you. If you tell him that Arya is coming to our side,he would believe you without a second question. But at the end of the day,he is still the king of a kingdom that is gifted to him by Yuvraj Duryodhana. He won't be able to fight against his friend,Brother."

"Arshia,I get it. I really do,but I don't want to fight against someone who is so dear to my son and, moreover,my sister's husband.

All I can do is try my best."

Arshia sighed at his stubbornness.

"Do whatever you want." Arshia mumbled under her breath, bidding him a goodbye and walking to her son.

"What did Pitashree Arjun say?" Vrishaketu asked as soon as Arshia returned. Forcing a smile on her face, she shook her head.

"It's nothing. Did the two of you catch up on everything?" Arshia warmly smiled.

"I still want Pitashree Karna at my wedding." Abhimanyu said, stubbornly.

Arshia sighed and nodded, tiredly smiling. Why were kids so stubborn?

"Mother~" Abhimanyu whined, hugging me. Arshia's eyes became attentive as she wrapped her arms around him.

"Please let me go to Hastinapur with father Arjun." He looked up at her. She glared at him, trying to get away from the hug. Abhimanyu,in return, tightened his grip around her and shook his neck at the blade of her shoulder.

"Come on Mata, what could go wrong?" He whined, wrapping his arms tighter around her waist. "Everything can, Abhimanyu. Please understand."

He shook his head, taking a step back.

"I am not doing this wedding until Pitashree Karna comes."

Arshia sighed and tiredly shook her head.

"It's your father that decides. Excuse me." Passing a small smile at the kids, turning her heels and walking away. She looked around the room, desperately trying to find Vasudev Krishna.

She frowned when she noticed both Draupadi and Krishna missing. Sighing, she turned around and, when she was about to walk away, she felt a presence behind her.

Turning her eyes, she stared at the divine figure, who had lost his usual calm and collected expression. With a neutral expression,he stared down at her.

Trying to ease up the tension,he put his infamous smile on his lips but with the absence of mischief in his eyes.

Arshia's eyes side-eyed the room to see Draupadi with a troubled expression. She was staring at Krishna when she was pulled away by Abhimanyu.

"Yes, thinking of me dear sakhi?" He asked. She nodded.

"Seems like you and bhabhi shree had a talk, not very sweet I guess?" She stared up,with a questioning look on her face.

"You know everything deary,I don't need to explain it to you,now do I? You probably know as much as I know....or more that is." He smiled.

Arshia let out a laugh.

"Know more than the decider?"

"I may be the decider, but you sure know how to change events, don't you?" His expression damped. She lightly shrugged and shook her head.

"I know what you want Arshia and I am afraid that won't be possible. Not in any way. It's better to give up now,if it gets too late...

You will end up lossing everything. "

"I don't have anything to lose Vasudev."

"The five brothers, your son(s),your husband and your friends. You don't have anything to lose?"

Arshia let out a laugh.

"All the people you mentioned now... never belonged to me, Vasudev. I am an adjustment to this era,an adjustment no one asked for. Someone who wants to correct things in this era.

The five brothers never asked for me,the people close to me,at this point of time, never asked for me,my son never asked for me and Karna never asked for me.

Vrushali was supposed to Karna's wife, Vrushali should've been the mother of the children, the people close to me already have you. I am nothing but a forced adjustment, Vasudev. No one here belongs to me,so I am not really afraid to loose anyone."

Krishna's lips formed a gentle smile.

"So you would deny any emotional attachment with them or are you trying to find excuses to calm your burning heart?"

"I don't make excuses, Vasudev. I adjust the game." She looked directly into Krishna's eyes,a challenging look taking over her face.

"It's either the people you love or the people who the world loves.

You won't ever have both the sides,Arshia and you have to accept it. Don't you agree?" His truthful and harsh tone changed in an instant,as a fun and naughty tone took over.

Arshia frowned before she felt a hand on her shoulder.

She turned to face her son,the sons of the Pandavas, the 5 brothers and their wife.

"Mother,is everything okay? You seemed tensed." Vrishaketu asked, standing beside her and rubbing her back. Arshia shook her head and smiled.

"Everything okay. Just having a conversation."

"What were you two talking about?" Arjun asked, coming between Arshia and Krishna.

"Nothing important. Shall we have the meal? Let's go,you kids had a long trip. Vrishaketu, please call bhabhi shree and Abhimanyu." He nodded, walking away.

The smaller pandavas walked to Arshia, circling her. She smiled at each one of them and proceeded to talk, walking away.

She slightly turned to Krishna, who was looking at her longingly.

She sighed and paid attention to the kids, trying to keep on those things at the back of her head.
