TWO DAYS LATER

Royal's POV

We had blooded adopted someone, his name was Liam and he was a super sweet kid. He talked to us on the drive back, telling us about his friends, family, and mate, Oliver. He was sad that he had to leave his family but super excited to become an Alpha one day. He also wanted to have a little. He was super happy to meet Everest and Noah.

I pull into the driveway of our mansion and help LIam grab his stuff. I led him to the front door and opened it quietly. I knew it was the boys' naptime so I was as quiet as possible. Blake and Anthony were sitting on the couch in the living room watching a movie while Aiden was playing with some toys. I figured they wanted to keep Aiden awake until they left since it was a long drive back to their house. I greet them quietly as I slip off my shoes. Liam follows what I do and I smile. I walk over to Anthony and Blake.

"How were they?" I whisper. "Great," Anthony responded. "Everest really settled into headspace fast." I practically beamed, "That's amazing." Blake nods as they both stand up. Anthony leaves for a second before coming back with two bags. Blake picked up Aiden and they said their goodbyes to Seth.

Still smiling, I lead Liam up to the guest room. He would be staying there until tomorrow. That day we planned to move back to the pack house. The packed house already had a nursery for each boy, a room for Liam, and a room for Seth and myself. They were furnished too. All we needed to bring were our clothes and other things we found necessary like diapers, bottles, binkies, and toiletries.

I head back downstairs to where Seth had already begun to pack a cardboard box with bibs, bottles, plates, bowls for our kids, and silverware for them. I kiss his forehead, "I'm gonna go up and start packing Noah's clothes. Then I'll move to Everest's room." Seth smiles and nods. I kiss him one last time before heading back upstairs.

I quietly enter Noah's room with an empty cardboard box. I start with his drawers, emptying all of his clothes, and some pull-ups too. Next, I move to his closet. I pull everything off the hangers and fold it neatly before tossing it in the box. I throw the hangers in the mostly full box and set it right outside Noah's room. I grab another empty cardboard box and fill it with his shoes.

When I have Noah's room done I move on to Everest's nursery. I carry two boxes in with me and repeat the same thing. While I am packing Evererst wakes up. Whoever put him down had swaddled him. He had a binky in his mouth too. He lay in his crib with his stuffed owl, the binky slowly bobbing in his mouth. He blinked at me sleepily, barely moving.

I smile checking the watch on my wrist and nod. It was 3 already so it made sense as to why Everest was waking up. I quickly finished up and set the boxes outside of his room. I lift him up carefully and slowly unwrap him from the swaddle. He tiredly latches his arms around my neck and lays against me. He had a messy diaper, which was good. I lay him on the changing table and quickly change his stinky diaper. He stayed still the whole time, eyes closed.

I finish changing him and lift him up. I hold him against my chest as I bounce him, trying to wake him up. He opens his eyes blurrily and pouts at me. "Hi baby, guess who's finally home," I coo, still bouncing him. I carry him out of his nursery.

I walk downstairs to the kitchen where Seth is with Noah and Liam. Liam looked at easy and Noah seemed happy to meet him. He kept trying to give Liam some of his snack, which Liam denied. I set Everest in his highchair and snap his tray on. I grab some baby puffs and sprinkle them on his tray. While I'm doing that Seth brings him a sippy cup full of water.

I laugh as Everest stuffs his face. His cheeks puff out with how full they are. I ruffle his hair. "Not so many next time," I coo. He looks up at me with wide eyes and puts more in. I laugh and walk over to Seth. "That kid is a menace," I murmur, wrapping my arms around his waist. He sighed with contentment and leaned against me.

"Are we leaving tonight or tomorrow morning?" Seth asks, nuzzling into me. I hum in response, thinking about it. "How about tonight, after dinner? It's only a three-hour drive. We'll be there by like 8 or 9 and Everest will probably be sleeping by then. Noah won't be far behind." Seth nodded in response. "Should I make an early dinner then?" I kiss him, "Yeah, that'd work. I'll see if Liam will help me pack the car."

I pull away from Seth and go over to the table where Everest and Noah are giggling like crazy. "Hey Liam, could I get you help?" I ask. Liam pauses what he is doing with the boys and looks up. "Oh, yeah, of course," he responded, standing up. I lead him out of the kitchen and to Everest's room. "Can you bring those two boxes down to the car?" I ask, already going to Noah's room. He nods and lifts both boxes with ease. I do the same with Noah's boxes and we carry them down to the car.

I set my boxes down and opened the back of the car. "Are you okay with sitting in the middle of the boys? We can always put up a seat back here for you and fill in the middle. Liam pauses for a moment. "Would it be okay if I sat back here?" He asks shyly. I smile and nod. Before putting any boxes in I pull up a seat for him. I take the boxes from him first and start putting them in, making sure to keep everything organized.

I run back into the house to grab Seth's and I's boxes. Liam grabs the bags that he brought too. We can fit all the boxes in the back of the car and Liam's bag fits perfectly in the middle between the boys' car seats. Once we were finished we both went back into the house.

Seth had set the boys in the playpen while he cooked a dinner of boiled hotdogs and mac n' cheese. Liam sat down on the couch and went on his phone. I stayed in the kitchen and kept Seth company while he cooked. A few moments later I hear a soft, whiny cry coming from the living room. I exit the kitchen and see Noah still playing. Liam is trying to get a squirming Everest out of the playpen. "What's wrong?" I ask Liam. I walk over and stand next to him.

"Everest used his diaper," Liam explained. I nod my head in understanding. I bend down and grab the squirming, whining Everest. His arms wrap around my neck instantly. "Hi baby," I coo, bouncing him. I carry him up to his nursery and quickly change him before carrying him down to the kitchen and set him in his highchair. "Liam, will you please bring Noah in?" I call as I slide the tray onto the highchair.

Everest immediately starts banging on the tray. I help Liam put Noah in his booster before going back to helping Seth. I fill up two sippy cups with water and set them down next to Everest and Noah. "I's no wan water," Noah states. "No bubs, we're gonna have water tonight," I coo. "Wan water," Noah yells. I give him a stern look, "Papa already told you know." He throws his sippy cup. I bend down to pick it up. I set it next to Noah again, who throws it on the floor. Everest sees and screeches, also throwing his. I rub my face tiredly.

Seth comes in carrying two bowls of mac n' cheese with hotdogs. He sets one down in front of Everest and one down in front of Noah. "You two can serve yourselves up," he calls to Liam and me as he heads back into the kitchen. We all quickly eat and make sure the boys eat. We didn't want them to be hungry on the drive to the pack house.
