Royal's POV

Liam helped me clean up dinner while Seth got the two boys ready to go. He had to change Everest's diaper and put Noah in a pull-up. We didn't want any accidents so they were wearing thicker diapers than they usually would. He was also changing them both into pajamas so they could sleep in the car.

Liam and I quickly washed dishes and put them in the sink. Then, Liam went to change into some sweatpants and a sweatshirt. Seth came back down with both boys, comfortable and ready to go. Everest was leaning against Seth's shoulder, sucking on a pacifier. He was put in a fuzzy navy blue onesie with footies and mittens. Noah was wearing blue pajama bottoms that had fish on them. He was wearing a matching shirt. I could see the obvious diaper bulge on Everest and Noah waddled a little, not used to the pull-up.

Noah clung to Seth's leg tightly as he swayed back and forth. I work on preparing a sippy cup of milk for Noah and a bottle of formula for Everest. Noah sees what I am doing and his eyes light up. "Milkie?" he asks as he tilts his head. "Yes Noah, this is milkie," I respond. He lets go of Seth's leg and toddles over to me, making grabby hands. "Wan," he says. "Not right now bud," I say gently. I slip the two drinks into a diaper bag.

He pouts and stomps his foot, "Wan Papa." I give him a disapproving look. "Don't stomp at me," I chide, bending down to his level. I hear footsteps and know that Liam has come back in. I swoop Noah up in my arms and set him on my hip. He pouts and glares at me. I simply kiss his head and turn to Liam. "Ready to go?" I ask. He nods and Seth smiles. I sling the diaper bag over my shoulder and lead the way out of the house to the car.

Noah tugs on my shirt sleeve. I ignore him at first. I was too focused on helping Liam get comfortable in the car. I set the diaper bag and turned my attention to Noah. "What does Papa's little man need so bad?" I ask. "Potty," he says quickly, squirming in my arms. I nod my head in understanding. I carry him a short distance away, towards the lawn. I set him down and pulled down his pajama pants along with his pull-up.

"Good job for telling Papa," I praise. "No help," he tells me, looking up at me. I can't help but laugh at his innocent look. I couldn't take him seriously with his pants down and the innocent look. I nod and step a short way away. I supervise him and mentally slap myself when he starts to go. He was too young to understand that he needed to hold himself away from his body and clothes while he went. His pee got all over the pull-up and his pajama pants.

He starts to pull his pull-up and pants up before I gently grab his hand. "Hey bud, we gotta go change," I say gently, fully taking off his pants and pull-up. "You still need to learn a little about going to the bathroom by yourself," I laugh and carry him to the trunk of the car. I help him into a fresh pull-up and dig through the boxes. I find a fresh pair of pajamas and put him in it. The dirty pajamas go in a plastic bag.

I help Noah into his car seat and buckle him in. "Milkie?" he asks. "Almost buddy, just a little while longer," I reassure him. I give him his special panda stuffie and a blanket. I shut the door and headed for the driver's seat. I get in and start the car. Seth is also ready to go, already buckled in. I turn around to Noah and ask, "What movie should we watch?" His face lights up, "Paw Patol." I laugh at how he says "patrol" and pull down the TV screen that was built into the car. Paw Patrol was already in there from the last drive we took so I hit play.

By 7:30 we were already a half hour into the drive and it was Everest's bedtime. Seth, with some difficulty, manages to remove his pacifier and give him his bottle. Noah gets excited and starts bouncing in his seat. "Milkie, milkie, milkie," he chants. "Not yet bud," Seth tells him. He pouts but is soon distracted by the movie.

By 8 o'clock Everest is asleep and Noah is getting antsy for his bottle. Seth hands him his sippy cup with no problem and I turn off the movie. He doesn't seem to care. He's much too focused on the milk. Soon, his sippy cup is empty and he's fallen asleep, just like Everest. Seth smiles at me and we begin talking in hushed tones.

An hour later we arrive at the pack house. The boys were able to sleep through the whole thing, which Seth and I were grateful for. I park the car and turn it off. Seth is the first to get out and he wastes no time in getting Noah out of his car seat. I get out too and grab Everest. I also help Liam get out.

"Hey, do you want me to carry some of these boxes in?" Liam asks. "That would be wonderful," Seth responds before I can. "Don't worry, we'll be out to help you as soon as we get these two down," I whisper to him. I follow Seth inside the pack house. Most of the adult wolves were in for the night. No little kids were running around. With my enhanced hearing I could hear some talking coming from various living rooms throughout the giant house.

Seth leads the way to our rooms. We had a section just for ourselves since I was going to be the pack leader. It had four bedrooms, one for the three boys and then one for myself and Seth. It also had two bathrooms. We didn't need anything else since the whole pack shared kitchens and living rooms. Seth goes into the first room to put Noah to bed and I enter the room across the hall.

The room was perfect for Everest. It was a nursery with light gray walls. In one corner was a crib that was made from some sort of dark wood. The changing table, dresser, and rocking chair were made out of the same materials. His room also had a baby bouncer, baby walker, and baby swing. There was already a toy chest filled with toys for him too. My father even had a bookshelf with short stories for him.

I smile and walk over to the changing table. I was relieved to see that my mother had already stocked up on diapers. I lay Everest down gently so I don't wake him. I unzip his onesie and untape his diaper. I wipe him down and slide a fresh diaper beneath him. I make sure to apply plenty of rash cream and sprinkle lots of powder before taping the fresh diaper. I zip back up his onesie and pick him up. He stirs slightly but stays fast asleep.

I walk over to the crib and lay him down. As soon as his back hits the mattress his eyes flutter open. His hands curl into fists and are raised to rub his eyes. He looks around confused and I can tell instantly he is out of headspace. "W-What?" he asks confused. "Where am I?" He stops rubbing his eyes and looks down at his hands. "Why are my hands covered?" "Hey baby," I coo softly. "It's sleepy time. Papa will explain in the morning."

"Not t-tired," Everest says. It's broken by a yawn. I pick him up and carry him over to the baby bouncer. I lay him down and strap him in using the three-way harness. I start the vibrations and wrap him in a blanket. He blinks up at me slowly, eyes already drooping. I smile and quietly exit the room to go down and help Liam and Seth unload the car.
