Seth's POV

"Daddy, I'm hungry," Noah tells me. We had been throwing rocks in the water for about half an hour while Everest slept. It was getting close to lunchtime, which explained why he was getting hungry. "Okay bud," I say, taking his hand. "Last one back to Papa has to take a nap." He lets go of my hand and bolts off. I laugh and follow after him

He made it back to Royal first, so I let him win. I could hear him animatedly telling Royal what happened and how I had to take a nap. Royal looked at me, smirking. "Looks like you'll have to lay down with Daddy to make sure he naps." Noah nodded excitedly. I sat down next to Royal, and his hand immediately found my thigh.

"Noah, bud, why don't you wake up Everest for us? Do you think you could be a big boy and do it?" Royal asks. We liked to include Noah in helping us with Everest whenever we could. He nods and crawls over to the sleeping form on the picnic blanket. "Make sure you shake him gently," I remind him. to shake anything violently anything.

I smile as he gently wakes up the sleeping little. Everest sits up, rubbing his eyes with his fists. He's still sucking on his pacifier and his bedhead is adorable. I pull Noah into my lap. "Wow, you're such a big boy," I praise him. "I think you don't even need a pull-up." He would of course stay in them anyway. He smiles brightly. "I's big boy daddy?" he asks. I nod, smiling brightly.

Royal pulls Everest onto his lap. "Why don't we spit out the paci and we can have a yummy lunch," Royal says to Everest gently. Everest is quick to spit out the pacifier. Royal tears off little pieces of Everest's PB and J, handing the small chunks to the little one who shoves it in his mouth. I tickle Noah's sides. "Does Daddy have to tear up your food?" I ask jokingly. "Nooo, I's big boy, Daddy," he says through giggles. "Oh, my bad bud," I say, stopping my assault. I hand him one half of his sandwich then grab mine.

Everest was eating with his mouth open and Noah was copying him. "Noah, let's be a good example to Everest and chew with our mouths closed," I gently chide. Noah looks up at me but shuts his mouth. I kiss his forehead and finish my sandwich. I throw the plastic bag that it was in back in my backpack before pulling out two bags of apple slices. I open them up and pass one over to Royal.

I felt Noah squirm in my lap when he noticed the fruit. He points to it, "Pease have?" "Of course bud," I say softly, grabbing him an apple slice. He immediately starts biting it. Royal laughs, "Seth, looks like we've got ourselves a fruit monster." I laugh along with him and grab one slice for myself. "It appears that way."

After lunch, Noah wanted to run around more. Everest gurgled in agreement. "Why don't we switch?" Royal offered. "It seems like I'm always watching Everest. He needs a little dada bonding time." "I'd love that babe," I say. I carefully help Noah stand up and he toddles over to Royal. I take Everest and stand up.

"Alright baby, you wanna go see the water?" I coo. He gurgles again and I take it as a yes. I carry him over to the water and set him up on the shore. He grabs fistfuls of rocks and throws them. They don't all land in the water but he doesn't care. After throwing rocks with him for a bit he starts to crawl towards the water.

I pull him back. He didn't have any of his swim stuff and it's not like he knew how to swim. He whined and kicked every time I pulled him back. On the third time, I turned him to face me. "Baby, we aren't gonna go in the water today. If you keep going towards it we're gonna have to go back to the blanket," I explain to him gently. "Let's throw some more rocks. Dada will go look for bigger ones for you."

I set him farther up on the shore and get up. Making sure not to go too far from him I begin looking for rocks. I turn back around to see him not where I left him. I managed to crawl into the water. Thankfully he didn't get too far in. It barely covered his waist, he was sitting down. He splashed in the water giggling. I run over to him. "Everest Blanc, get over here," I say sternly. I carefully reach over for him and manage to lift him out. "Nuhhhh," he screams, kicking.

I carry him back to the picnic table and lay him down. I removed his overalls and onesie, both of which were basically soaked. He shivered in the air but still managed to throw a tantrum. He flailed his fists and kicked his legs. "Everest, you don't want a spanking now?" I asked him. He didn't listen and I sighed. I hold down his legs gently while I begin to change him.

We didn't plan on this happening so we didn't bring extra clothes. I put a fresh diaper on him then wrapped him in Royal's jacket. The poor boy wasn't throwing a tantrum anymore but shivering. I rubbed his body, trying to warm him as much as I could. Royal and Noah came over a little while later. It was nearing Noah's naptime too. He was dragging his feet and whining.

Royal helped get Noah strapped onto my chest first. He held Everest while I packed up the picnic blanket. Once we were packed up I helped get the shivering boy strapped onto his chest. I watched as Royal wrapped him up in his jacket. Noah was drooling on my shirt, already fast asleep. Everest was swinging his legs in the harness and squirming slightly.

"Ready babe?" Royal asked, grabbing my hand. "Yeah," I kiss his cheek and we start back down the trail. We talk about this and that, catching up on things we had forgotten to tell each other. Everest still hadn't fallen asleep, which I was surprised about. "Oliver offered to watch the boys one night if we wanted a date night," Royal tells me. "That sounds really nice," I tell him.

Everest whines and kicks his legs. "Wan down," he huffs. Royal rubs his back, "Sorry bud. You don't have any clothes on and it's naptime." He kicks a little harder. "Down, down," he whines. "Baby, Daddy told you no," I say softly.

It was a long walk down. Everest didn't stop his fussing once, and it just kept getting worse. I heard Royal sigh in relief when we finally got to the backyard of the packhouse. We enter as quietly as possible. Royal kisses my head. "You go up and put Noah down in his bed. I'll take care of Mr. Fussy," Royal tells me. I slip off my shoes and do the same with Noah's shoes.

After his shoes are off I walk upstairs to his nursery. With some struggle, I managed to get him out of the harness and lay down on his changing table. I removed the outfit I'd put on him this morning. It was just a simple grey shirt with a bear on it and black basketball shorts. He was also wearing a pull-up. Usually, he was good about using the bathroom but when we went out I made sure he had a pull-up on just in case.

His pull-up was soaked, only because he didn't get a chance to go to the bathroom before his nap. I quickly change him into a fresh one and fresh clothes. I just dressed him in a blue shirt that had a sailboat on it and another pair of black shorts. After he was all changed and comfy I carried him over to his toddler bed. I made sure the railing was secured before I laid him down and covered him up with his blanket.

I kiss his forehead and stand up. I never would have thought that I would be married to my dream man with two little boys. I was happier than I had ever been. I couldn't wait for the days to come and the time I would get to spend with my family.
