Vyshena should be happy they won squad battle, should be celebrating with her teammates and drinking and partying. Instead she sat in front of Morghan with a tired look on her face. "No, dracarys." Vyshena spoke under her breath inside Xaden's bedroom. Morghan stared at the piece of meat on the table in front of her. "Morghan, dracarys." She was growing impatient.

"Listen to her." Xaden said when coming inside his bedroom. The dragon opened her jaw and fire came out, instantly cooking the piece of meat. "I think you should go and talk to Sorrengail." Morghan changed and her long hair flew past her hips when she grabbed the charred piece of meat and ate it. "I'm sorry?"

"She's having trouble justifying Barlowe." He admitted, "I was the one that said the command. All she did was utilize her power." Xaden nodded, "she is still freaking out. But I thought who better else to talk to her! You've killed a lot of people."

"Yeah? So have you!" She argued, standing up and seeing Morghan throw her arms in the air. "You can walk." Vyshena chuckled while she grabbed the child under her arms and set her on her feet. "Yeah, but you kindly asked me to not speak to her."

"I didn't ask you jack!" Her voice rose while Xaden widened his eyes. "You didn't, but the thought was there. Morghan, get ready we're going with Sgaeyl." The girls eyes went wide and Xaden felt as the small dragon climbed its way up his pant leg and behind his flight jacket he put on.

"I hate you." Vyshena sighed, "yeah, I know you do."

Violet opened up her bedroom door, her eyes went wide and jaw slack as Vyshena smiled at her. "I feel like we've difted apart."

"You, Andarna's powers didn't work on you." Violet remembered how she continued to fall even when Andarna stopped time. "No, they didn't. May I come in?" Violet quickly nodded, holding the door wide while she walked in. Everything was still familiar, everything in its previous place.

"Xaden told you about my family?" Vyshena asked and the girl went quiet. "It's okay. If he trusts you, I do." Vyshena replied and Violet rocked on her heels. "He did. Said your children are still alive." Violet had emphasized on your, insinuating Xaden and Vyshena's children. "They are. Two of them."

"He told me about her. I'm sorry for your loss." Vyshena shrugged. "It was Xaden who got the worst of it. He was bed ridden for a week, excruciating pain even with trying to heal." Violet furrowed her brow. "You are permanently marked after your bonded dies. It effects your mental and physical health. You're in hell every day. But because Xaden doesn't have my blood, it didn't kill him."

"But, I told you to kill Barlowe. You were the hands of the operation and you wield pure power, one of the rarest signets. You'll want to find a specific object, or thing to use though. You won't be able to wield actual power for awhile." Vyshena instructed. "It's one that can easily get out of hand. If you ever end up going mad, they'll probably execute you. But for now, focus on channeling it and keeping it at lightning. You can do a lot of damage with fire." Vyshena looked to see Violet with silent tears streaming down her rosy cheeks.

"I just don't understand," she whispered in a breath, holding her hands to the side while Vyshena tilted her head. "What don't you understand?"

"You." She said, catching Vyshena's attention quickly. "You don't need to understand me,"

"You are one of my friends. In fact, the only friend that I know has no chance of dying. You are the only, steady positive in my life and I do not understand you." Violet admitted, holding a hand out toward Vyshena. "I am not meant to be understood, Violet. I come from a place that no longer stands, born to a name that will die with me. A mother to two dragons when I was born, than three a few years later. Born to Xaden, promised to him from before I was even born! I have never been just my own, never been alone, my brain has never been quiet."

Vyshena sat up taller. "I can understand languages that no longer exist by not studying. I have copious amounts of power in my body to the point where I have to check if my pulse is still there. I watched my parents get beheaded, along with their dragons. My siblings." Vyshena added, "I have spoken to life and I have spoken to death. I can see, almost to Calldry city from, right here." She pointed to the floor.

"I will constantly be running for the rest of my life because of what my parents believed in. I will be chased, never to return home, never to see my children again because I won't have them die a worser fate than their sister." Violet was mute as she listened. "I will be stuck floating around this place until I die. And it's not up to your god on when I die. It's up to mine, and the last time someone of my line wasn't murdered. They lived until they were 309, and their dragon died."

"You killing Jack Barlowe is what was expected of you. Of anyone in your position. You can't hesitate in that situation, you have to strike no matter what. No matter who is in the air, who is already dying, you have to." Violet nodded her head quickly. "Congratulations on your first body, we should celebrate." The girl stared at her in disbelief. "You want to celebrate me killing someone?"

"I want to celebrate because your first body was Jack Barlowe." Vyshena corrected as she stood up. "Let's go see everyone. Come on."

Vyshena walked to Bodhi, grabbing his hand while he turned quickly. "I need to speak to you." Vyshena whispered while he nodded. "Let's go." Vyshena held onto his hand until they were outside in the courtyard.

"Jack Barlowe is still alive." Bodhi's eyes widened. "How?" He asked out loud. "He turned Venin sometime during the school year. Thought of it during his and Violet's brawl but didn't bother to go further. I saw through him when we were out there and he was pulsating with their energy. He's not dead." Bodhi stayed silent, taking a deep breath. "Okay." Slowly nodding his head.

"Xaden?" Asking, "not sure where he is. The twins hatched Morghan, and she is with us." Bodhi's lips parted and his throat burned from not being able to speak. "Okay." He cleared his throat, eyes squinted and hands held into the air. "Not fair." He said, pointing his finger at her.

"What's up?" Bodhi turned quickly seeing Xaden walking toward them. Keeping his flight leathers zipped. "Bodhi, care for a visit?" Vyshena asked while pushing from the wall. "Please, yes."

"You have the jaes hen Morghan?" Bodhi gasped as Xaden's door shut. "And Jack Barlowe is alive and venin?" Xaden shot his head toward Vyshena. "Yes, and yes. Let me explain." Xaden unzipped his jacket and stuck his hand inside, Bodhi gasped once seeing Morghan.

"She's so small." He said, and Xaden held his arm out while Morghan pounced from Xaden's arm and onto Bodhi's shoulder. Nuzzling her head into his curly hair while he laughed. "I saw through him during the squad battle. He was, soaked in their power."

"How's he alive?" Vyshena shrugged. "Guessing something to do with venin." Bodhi sat on the floor, holding his finger out while Morghan snapped her jaws at it. Bodhi jumped, laughing nervously. "She's a dragon, Bodhi. Not a cat." He nodded his head, "yeah, yeah. Forgot for a second. Hey, do you think we should let everyone know? You know, for safety reasons and stuff."

"More people know means more people liable." Xaden told him. "No, I mean like Garrick..." Bodhi answered, jumping when Morghan sat on his head and flicked her tail in his face. Vyshena looked at Xaden, "Garrick could actually help."

"Hey, what're you doing?" Vyshena turned, seeing the pink hair. "Where's Garrick?" She asked, seeing Imogen point off into the crowd. She started walking, noticing Imogen wasn't following. "Come on!"

Vyshena opened the bedroom door, "I don't understand you pulled us away from a party for," Garrick's mouth dropped open when he saw the child curled on Xaden's lap, who spoke quietly with Bodhi. "I was gone for ten minutes." Imogen walked slowly into the dorm. "Do you have a child? When were you pregnant?"

Vyshena's face contorted as she stared at Imogen, "she's a dragon, dumbass." Garrick told Imogen who slowly held a hand to her mouth. Vyshena walked over while she leaned down, rubbing Morghan's back who groaned and swatted at her mother. Xaden sighed while he lifted his arm and sat her up.

"You guys are literally parents." Imogen said while Vyshena picked Morghan up. "This is Garrick and Imogen. They're here to help us. Make sure we get the right timing." When Imogen blinked, Garrick screamed and Bodhi jumped.

Morghan was curled up in Vyshena's arms. Her wings tucked and tail wrapped around her bicep. "She's shy."

"You snuck baby dragon death into Basgaith?"

Vyshena laid next to Liam, her arm wrapped around his while she laid her head on his bicep. "I love you." Vyshena said quietly while looking up, "I love you, Hena."

"I can feel Eon more." She said, and Liam nodded. "Me too. It's weird, different from before." Vyshena smiled, "they're growing up." Liam quickly rose his hand, wiping under his eye. "I miss them." Vyshena sighed.

Liam chuckled, "me too. It's painful being away from her. It's like I'm craving a certain thing and I will never be satisfied if I get it, and I'm craving her." Liam sighed, slowly shaking his head. "You will see her again, Liam. We just have to give it some time." She assured, "I promise you, you will see her again. And you will get bonded, and you'll never have to leave each others sides." Vyshena sat up in the bed and faced him.

"Yeah? How would that work?" He asked, "well," Vyshena cleared her throat. "Hopefully with the three years were here, military gets really cool with some things really fast."
