Continuing with Ericson's POV

The night with Emily and the twins went amazing. I got to know more about my family and I got Emily to smile 5 times. Yes I'm counting seeing that beautiful smile has been the highlight of my day. On the ride home the twins fell asleep. That gave me some time to talk with Emily. "I reached out to Don Russo for a favor." She cuts her eyes she doesn't really like Don Russo. He tried to date her when he met her but she was all mine. He wasn't happy about it but got over it. And when he found his lovely wife Rosa he was completely over it. She looks at me "so have you talked to him?" I keep my eyes on the road as I speak "not directly you know how it goes, but I should be hearing from him soon." I finally pull up to the house and we get the kids out.

Once we take them to bed and walk out of their room. She turns to face me "thank you for such a lovely dinner Ericson, I really enjoyed it." I smile I'm glad she enjoyed her time with me. I wish I could replace all the tears and bad memories, with smiles and nights like this. "I'm glad you did Emily, I promise to always put my family first." She smiles "I will hold you to that Ericson, don't make promises you can't keep." I can tell from the look in her eyes she was serious but little did she know I was serious as well. "I will never break another promise I make to you wifey." Usually she would cut her eyes when I say wifey but this time she just nods her head then tells me good night. I watch her walk away for a moment then I walk to my office.

As the night gets later I go over my plans for expanding. I plan to do it after all this shit dies down. But first I need to gather Intel, I turn on my computer and email some of my contacts in Spain. I pull out my stash rolling a nice blunt. I hear a knock at my office door so I say "Come in." Derrick walks in "how did I know you would be up" he walks to the couch to take a seat. I laugh "you know when I can't sleep I work it calms me." He laughs from my words as I light the blunt. "How does work calm you?" I cut my eyes as I pass it to him "I rather be fucking the shit out of Emily but this will do." He laughs "damn you got it bad." I cut my eyes and we continued to talk until 3am. Then I decided to go get some rest. I get up yawning as I say "Lock up my office when you leave." I walk into my room looking in my bed seeing Emily sleeping peacefully. I made sure to not make too much noise as I lay down to get some rest.

I wake up to Emily telling me that my phone is ringing non-stop. I groan out telling her to answer it for me. I hear her mumble something about not being my maid. I smirk "oh, trust me wifey I know." I get out of the bed walking to the bathroom as I hear her answer the phone. I wash my face and brush my teeth as she walks in "it was your assistant the contracts have been signed he will be dropping them off in a few hours" I listen to her words as I undress to get in the shower. I glance behind me to see her standing there with flaming red cheeks. "You want to join me?" She cuts her eyes as she speaks "you wish Ericson" I respond saying "you already know that, so make it a reality I promise to leave you begging for more." She tries so hard to wear an evil glare. But she couldn't help but smirk as she walked out. I hear her yell telling me she left me some food in the microwave.

After my shower I walk out fully dressed. I look down at my phone seeing that it's 11:30. Once I walk downstairs Kayla runs to me. I pick her up spinning her around as she giggles. She hugs me as I carry her to the kitchen. I look in the microwave seeing a plate of pancakes, bacon, and hash browns. She says "Love you daddy" as I put her down. I get to sit down and eat. Emily walks in the kitchen with her mother behind her. "Just drop it mother" she says as she walks to the fridge. "All I'm saying is you should be begging for your husband to take you back, it's not like you have any better options." I tried to stay out of their conversation but she was so wrong on that last comment. She opens her water taking a sip before she speaks. "You know when I called you and told you I divorced him, you. Told me I was no longer your daughter. That means you have no say In my life so keep it that way." The tone of her voice shows how frustrated she was. Then it finally hit me the reason she was so tense around her mother.

They have always had a strained relationship but I didn't think it was that bad. She turned on her when she needed her the most. What kind of mother would do that I think to myself. Her mother's face turned red "you will not repeat that, and all I'm saying is a woman is nothing without a man." That's when I finally had enough I looked at her as I spoke. "Honestly Lucille you may be that weak but your daughter isn't. You should actually be proud that she stood up for herself. Instead putting her down every chance you get!" Her eyes widen when I begin to speak but she listens. "I'm sorry she should have never divorced you." She says as she looks to me. Emily mumbles " she has to be fucking kidding me right now."

I groan because this woman is truly frustrating." No I deserved to be divorced, do you understand I cheated on her I betrayed her. I don't ever want to hear you talk down to Emily again." I say in a firm but calm tone. She nods her head saying she is sorry but I could tell she didn't mean it. I turn to face Emily "I'm sorry I just couldn't sit back and listen to her speak to you like that." She smiles softly "it's okay I'm used to it, the only thing I ever did right in her eyes was marry you." I cut my eyes "well that's about to change!" She shrugs "I'm used to it she disowned me when I divorced you. Sadly my life was peaceful away from her, but I missed the rest of my family." I step closer "Emily your perfect you don't need me or any other man." She leans In kissing me and I take this time to ravish her. My hands find their way to her ass and squeeze it and she softly sighs in my mouth. But she doesn't stop me I pick her up placing her on the counter. I deepen the kiss I softly nibble on her bottom lip and she moans. The sound of someone clearing their throat is what breaks us apart.

I look to see Evie and her brother Alexi standing there. My sister was wearing a smirk "oh did we interrupt something?" She asked blinking innocently. Emily hops down from the counter "no we just got a little carried away." I hear Emily say and personally I don't agree. But I'm glad it was our siblings who walked in There are too many children running around. I have to be more careful I think to myself. "Trust me I wasn't carried away if I was you would have been bent over the counter. She blushes from my word but before she could respond my phone rings. I answer my phone as I walk out "Don Russo I'm so happy that you called me back." I say as I walk to my office to continue the conversation. He tells me that he will help me if I could do something for him. I let him know to name it. But the favor he asked for I can't do it.

Emily's POV

I wake up early and I see Ericson is asleep next to me. I get out of the bed making sure not to wake him. I walk to the closet to grab an outfit then I go to the bathroom to shower and brush my teeth and wash my face. I think back to my night with Ericson as I wash my body. I can't lie and say I don't enjoy seeing this side of him. He seemed like he matured in our time apart. and I have to say it looks good on him I have never stopped being attractive to Ericson. I mean with a body and face like that how could you not be. And his eyes were so beautiful I could lose myself in them. He has always been cocky hell that's what first attracted me to him. He was so assured of himself. I step out of the shower drying off and moisturizing my body. I walk out once my make-up is finished. I looked at the bed and he was still asleep and I think -He must have had a long night last night - I grabbed my phone walking out going to get the twins up.

I stop in front of their door opening it to see Evie helping them. She smiles when she sees me "hey Emily I wanted to give you and Ericson some help. I looked at Blaze and he looked adorable "I like the outfit you chose." Kayla says "look mommy." she shows me her hair Evie did her hair like Elsa "I princess Elsa!" She says in an excited tone. Me and Evie laugh as she sings let it go as loud as she can. I look at Evie telling her thank you. She smiles saying no problem. As we walked downstairs we talked "I plan on moving in with Alexi after all this is over, I plan on telling my family about it tonight." I smiled telling her that was a rather quick development.

She blushes a bright red saying "you were right he is a good guy and amazing in..." I laugh from her words as we make our way to the kitchen. I see Jessica sitting with Derick laughing. Sasha was talking with Ericson's sister Genesis. Blaze and Kayla run to their cousins. I begin to make their plate I make sure they have some apple juice. I decided to put some food up for Ericson since he is still sleeping. Once I sit down with my plate I talk with my brother Andros. I was laughing at something he said when my mother and father walked in. I say good morning to them. My father smiles telling me good morning. "I read up on my mother's company. I'm so proud of you." I smile softly from his words telling him thank you my mother looks like she wants to say something but doesn't.

Genesis looks to me "where is my brother,don't tell me you wore him out." I laughed from her words "no, he slept late I think he spent most of his night in the office." She sips her coffee as she says he works too much. I agree with her but I understand he is trying to keep us safe, and still run his business. He needs a day of fun to just relax I think as I finish eating. I put our dishes in the sink then I walk with Genesis to the living room as we talk. We watch the kids play together and she tells me about her husband. He had to leave for work early. "He wants to join the family business." My eyes widen her husband has always been a business man. Ericson has a dream to not just be the biggest weapons manufacturer And dealer. He wants to rule the world he wants to be a kingpin. From what I have heard he has succeeded.

He was just starting the drug game when we divorced. Like I said before I was entitled to way more than that prenup said. But it was never about the money that's why it was so easy for me to leave it behind."what do you think about this?" I ask I remember when Genesis said she didn't want anyone from life that's why she chose Henry. She shrugs " Henry is a good guy, so I'm willing to stay." After we finish talking I walk upstairs to check on Ericson. He looked so peaceful sleeping I was thinking of turning around to leave. But his phone just keeps ringing. I walk to him Shaking him awake. When he wakes up I tell him his phone is ringing and he tells me to answer it. He used to be open with a phone and he would have me answer it most of the time. I even had the code he started being private when he started seeing Alyssa. Then I couldn't answer it or touch it.

"I'm not your maid" I say he says he knows as I answer the phone. "Hello Mr. Kings line" I say as I hit accept. The person on the other end was his assistant, he informed me that the people signed the contract. "You can come and drop it off" he says he can be here in a few hours. I hung up the phone walking in the bathroom to let Ericson know. He was standing there with his shirt off with all of his tattoos showing. I could tell he had gotten more since the divorce and they looked good on him. As I speak he undresses and I stand there stuck looking at his package. It's always been a nice size 91/2 inches and thick. I couldn't help the throb that I felt between my legs. Stop staring Emily and look at something else... anything else- I think to myself as I try to look at the walls but my eyes shift back to that anaconda between his legs. And from what I remember it's just as vicious.

He finally notices and says something to ruin the fantasy. I told him he wishes and his words had me shocked."You already know that, so make it a reality I promise to leave you begging for more." I try to keep a straight face as I walk out but I can't help but smirk. I let him know he has food in the microwave as I walk out. Once I walk downstairs Kayla runs up to me telling about her titi and got her a new toy. She shows it to me I tell her that it's nice. She runs off to play with her older cousin. I was happy to see my children enjoying spending time with their family. I walk to the bookshelf going to read the book I started a couple of days ago. I was almost finished with the story when my mother came in sitting beside me. "Can we talk?"

I should have said no I should have gotten up and walked off. But sadly I'm not that smart. "Sure what do you want mother." I say calmly she starts off by apologizing for her actions. When I announced my divorce. I tell her it's fine she smiles "but now that you're back we can be a family again, and your children won't be bastards anymore". What kind of backwards ish I think as my face shows exactly what I was thinking. "Even if I was coming back to New York I wouldn't call us a family. And mother I'm only going to say this once don't call my children bastards!" I put my book down and she seems oblivious "you can have a spring wedding I can help you plan it." She is delusional "I'm not getting married mother what is wrong with you!" I get up walking off.

She follows behind me with her talking her ish. I walk in the kitchen telling her to drop it as I get some water. But she doesn't listen finally Ericson speaks up and what he said it was necessary. But my mother tells him I should have never divorced him. It figures my mother was only happy when I told her I had a man, and when she found out it was a King. His family has always been a part of the elite. She made sure to paint herself as the perfect mother. I mean she never beat me so that's a plus. Ericson tells her he deserved the divorce because he cheated. But my mother doesn't care she already knows that. She looks at me giving me a fake apology. The only reason she gave it is because a man told her to. After she walks out Ericson tells me that he couldn't help but step in. And I'm thankful but I'm used to it. I let him know that then he steps closer saying. "Emily you're perfect you don't need me or any other man."

I finally leaned in and kissed him. I can't blame it on anything other than I wanted to. At that moment I wanted to feel his soft lips on mine. I feel his hands squeeze my rear end as he picks me up. I wrap my legs around him as he walks to me to the counter to sit me down on it. He deepens the kiss softly biting my bottom lip. I let out a soft moan. Thankfully before anything else can happen someone clears their throat. He moves out the way as his sister asks if she interrupted something. I get off the counter as I say just got a little carried away." Ericson says he wasn't carried away and something about having me bend over the counter.I look down with bright red cheeks. I was just about to say that wouldn't happen. Even though part of me was interested in the idea.

He walks out talking on his phone Evie looks to me "honestly Emily none of us would judge if you decide to fuck your ex husband. It's not completely wrong." My brother just shrugs "like I said you too didn't just grow apart I can clearly see that." I roll my eyes as I walk off I did want to finish that kiss. I walk to Ericson's office to knock. I hear his voice say I don't care what the favor is, when it comes to her it's a hell no." I knock twice and I hear him say come in. I walked in and he looked like he wasn't happy "you could give me a million years to think about it, the answer is still no." He listens then hangs up. I walk to the couch sitting down "was that Don Russo " he nods his head as he sits down I ask what he wants. He tells me it doesn't matter because he isn't getting it. He looks to me as his eyes soften"did you need something from me Emily." The way he said my name I stand up "yeah I want to feel your lips just one more time." He walks to me before I can finish my word kissing me passionately.

He picks me up walking me to his desk sitting me on it. As he kisses my neck sucking and biting I let out a soft moan. He bites roughly making sure to mark me. His hands stop at the entrance to my pants and I nod my head. But I could see another storm raging on the inside of him. He was fighting against lust and something else. That's when I decided to speak "mm, Ericson stop what did he want?" He looks to me as his finger caresses my rosebud. "I will tell you but first." He begins to stimulate my flower leaving me moaning. When he shoves his fingers inside me he says "he needs a favor from you." He bites down on the other side of my neck as my first orgasm hits me.
