I breathed heavily as I punched the punching bag in the gym again. The tattoos on my arms shone as a light sweat covered my skin. My dark hair was in a ponytail at the top of my head and I punched the bag one more time before dropping onto the mat to catch my breath.

I unwrapped the bandages from my hands before wiping my face with a towel.

"Hey." I heard and I looked up seeing Aleks entering the gym.

"Hey." I smiled and he stopped in front of me.

I reached my hand out and he pulled me up.

"Spar with me?" He asked and I smirked at him.

"You sure you want to get your ass beat again?" I smirked and he smiled.

"Ok I see how it is." He said. "Get your ass over here."

I smiled shaking my hands out before stepping onto the mat with Aleks.

"Hit me." I told him and he shook his head.

"Ladies first." He said and I smiled.

"If you insist." I said.

I punched him in the stomach and he grabbed my arm pushing me to the floor. I kicked him off me before moving to grab his hands but he grabbed my waist pulling me back and trapping me under him again. I went to push at his chest but he grabbed my hands pinning them above my head.

I tried to wiggle free and his eyes momentarily dropped to my breasts that were bulging in my sports bra. I took that as my moment to get the upper hand and I wrapped my legs around his torso before flipping us over. Then I reached for his throat squeezing it tightly.

He tapped my knee in surrender and I smirked letting go but I didn't get off his lap. I tried not to laugh at the thing poking the inside of my thigh.

"That's not fair baby you distracted me." He said breathlessly and I laughed.

"Make all the excuses you want." I said and he sat up with me still in his lap. I brushed my thumb over his cheek and he grabbed the back of my neck crashing his lips into mine.

He groaned into the kiss as his hand squeezed my thighs. He bit my bottom lip and I moaned softly.

Someone cleared their throat and I groaned at the interruption but I didn't stop kissing him.

"mem, vash otets khochet vas videt' ." Someone said awkwardly. "Should I tell him you'll be there?" (Ma'am your father wants to see you.)

"Da." I muttered before kissing him again and I heard footsteps walking away quickly.

I broke the kiss pulling Aleks' bottom lip between my teeth. He stared at me with lust filled eyes.

"I have to go." I said kissing his neck and he groaned.

"Fuck you're killing me here." He said and I smiled before getting up.

"You'll survive." I smirked before picking up my jacket and walking out of the gym .

I slipped it on as I approached my father's office. Sergei and Lev opened the doors for me and I smiled at them.

"Papa." I greeted smiling at him but he had a worried look on his face which caused my smile to fall.

"What's wrong?" I asked him and he sighed.

"Take a seat, Madelyn." He said and I did.

"Your brother has been taken." He told me and I gasped.

What? Taken? Seb had been gone for a week and I was only hearing about this now.

"Taken where?!" I asked.

"We had originally sent your brother to LA because we had had some problems with our shipments but it turns out it was a set up. The Italians ambushed him in the warehouse and are keeping him." He said and I clenched my jaw.

"And you two didn't think to let me in on your wonderful plan?!" I shouted. "Fuck he's in enemy territory." I told him and he nodded.

"We know." He said and I dropped my head in my hands.

"They'll hurt him Papa." I said angrily. "You know they will."

"i chto nam delat' dal'she?" He asked me and I sighed. (So what do we do next?)

"my nichego ne delayem." I told him. "I will handle things from here." (We don't do anything)

"Of course." He told me and I stood up walking to the door. I opened it spotting Yulia outside.

"Yulia find Aleks." I told her and she immediately nodded walking away. I moved my gaze to the men outside the door.

" Sergey i Lev prikhodyat." I told them and they immediately followed me in to the office. (Sergei and Lev come.)

"Da mem?" They asked.

"Get the jet ready." I told them. "And pack your bags. We're going to LA."

They looked at each other before nodding.

" idti." I told them and they immediately left. (Go)

"Madelyn are you sure it's a good idea going back?" My father asked and I walked over to him placing my hand over his.

"What choice do I have papa?" I sighed. "He's my brother."

"I know your history with Mr Armini." He sighed. "It's a trap."

"I know." I said. "But I can protect myself. I am not just a stupid girl anymore Papa. I am the leader of this Bratva now remember?"

"I know you can take care of yourself. I trust you." He said and I smiled.

I pressed a quick kiss to his cheek before walking out.

I spotted Sergei and Lev in the hall and they fell into place behind me as I walked.

"Ma'am should I bring reinforcements?" Lev asked and I shook my head.

"No the last thing we want is to bring too much attention to ourselves." I told them and they nodded.

"We will make ourselves known but we should not seem like a threat." I told them. "The best attacks are unexpected."

I reached my room and they bowed their heads slightly before leaving.

I opened the door and saw Aleks sitting on the edge of my bed. He stood up walking towards me.

"We leave for LA in 8 hours." I told him and his eyebrows furrowed in concern.

"Madelyn are you sure?" He asked and I shot him a look.

"Are you questioning my choices?" I asked him and he shook his head.

"Never." He sighed and I walked over to my door closing it.

"Good." I said walking over to him and grabbing his shirt before pulling him to me. "Because I need a distraction right now."

I pulled his face down to kiss me and he grabbed my ass lifting me up before tossing me on to my bed and making me forget about everything for a while .

8 hours later and I was on a jet with Aleks, Sergei and Lev. I stared out the window as the rain fell and I tried to calm the nerves in my stomach. In a few hours I would see the man who I have spent the past 5 years trying to forget.

But I am not the same girl I was. And I would make sure he knew that.
