Morana's POV:
"Silence!" I commanded! "Today we have a very important mission and I need your full attention" I began the meeting. Before every mission, the gang and I always had a meeting where I explained what would commence in the mission and I assigned duties to each member based on their role in the gang.
This mission was extremely crucial because we were going into battle with my enemy, Dominic. His father was the owner of the biggest drug trafficking gang in Mexico. Dominic and I weren't always enemies. We actually went on a few missions together when I used to work as a bodyguard for his father. When Dominic's father died, he took over the business. Dominic did everything in his power to be better than me but there's one enormous difference between him and I. I built this business on my own whereas everything was handed to him. Dominic killed one of my members who was like a brother to me, ever since that day, he was known as my enemy.
Once the meeting concluded, I grabbed my keys and I left to the venue where Dominics drugs would be transported. Our mission was to get the drugs and transport it to an underground club before he could get the drugs. I always went on missions in my own car, the rest of the gang went together. Personally I never admired dealing with drugs, it's not my style but this job paid well and we were going to use the money from this mission for upgrades. Especially because it was Dominic so I took a personal interest in this mission. I couldn't risk anything happening to the drugs so the gang was assigned to load the drugs and transport it immediately.
The delivery was coming in early thanks to Felix. Felix is our extremely talented hacker. He's one of the best in the mafia world. He hacked the system and changed the locations so our drop off was on the schedule for pick up instead of Dominics. Dominic wasn't aware of it so this was perfect because we could get a head start. I knew Dominic would eventually still show up to meet me after realising that the locations were changed. When the delivery came in, the gang and I got to work.
Just as the gang left, Dominic appears on site as I knew he would. I stayed behind because I had a message for Dominic. "Dealing drugs now?" Dominic asked while walking towards me. I reached for my gun but before I could point the gun at him, his men grabbed onto me. Dominic took my gun and looked me in my eyes while he ordered his right hand man to stab me. "Don't kill her, I'll get her when it hurts the most" I didn't know what he meant but I knew he was planning something. He made a deep cut into my torso but I still wore an evil smirk on my face because I had a surprise for Dominic. Just as he turned his back towards me to leave, a bomb went off at the warehouse where he kept his drugs. The warehouse was not too far from where we were so you could still see the flames. He got the call from his henchmen and turned back towards me, "this is not over, this is officially war" Dominic exclaimed in anger.
I got into my car and made my way to the club. The gang and I always went to a bar or club to celebrate after every mission. This time it was for business. I got out of the car and put on my jacket to cover up my wounds and the blood. I met the owner and we got straight into business. I gave him the drugs and he gave me the money.
I had a few drinks with the gang and I made my way out of the club. On my way back into the car, a young woman approached me. "Hi can you give us a ride, our car broke down" the young woman asked politely. "Really, I need to get home right now, I don't have time for this" I thought to myself. "Uhm sure, jump in" I replied. I helped her friend get into the back seat of my car since she was heavily drunk. "You, in the front" I ordered. "Excuse me, Who are you to tell me where to sit?" She asked. "My car, my rules" I replied. "Besides your friend will pass out soon so let her have the back seat so she can sleep until we get there" I said. She folded her arms angrily and got into the seat next to me. I wouldn't usually offer to help a stranger but something made me change my mind. It was really late so I felt it would be better if I helped them out. My torso still injured from the cut and I was loosing a lot of blood. I knew I had to get home as quickly as possible. I began taking off my jacket. "Uh what are you doing?" She asked. I handed her my jacket because I noticed she was shivering. "You're hurt" she exclaimed while looking at my shirt covered in blood. "I'm okay" I replied. "I'm a nurse, you can stay at my house and I'll help you with the cuts" she suggested. I nodded. As I was driving, her friend passed out in my car. I asked her for the address and put it on the GPS. I stepped on the gas and swerved through traffic. Let's just say I wasn't a patient driver. "Can you slow down, you're gonna get us killed" she exclaimed. Her hand gripped mine and her eyes closed in fear. I looked over at her and quickly realised that she was scared so I slowed down. "Why did I slow down?" I thought to myself. I caught glimpses of her while driving, I could tell she was definitely something special.
Sophia's POV:
"Great Elena, how are we supposed to get home now?" I asked. Our car just broke down and Elena was drunk. "Just go ask the driver next to us" Elena replied. Elena was my roommate, we were also studying in the same University. We were good friends but sometimes she could be really selfish and irresponsible.
I walked over to the car next to us. There was a woman with short black hair and dressed in black, inside the car. I asked if she could help us but she seemed like she was in a haste. She agreed to take us home.
The young woman aggressively started taking her jacket off and breathing heavily. I felt myself mysteriously attracted to her actions. The way she had her hand on the steering wheel and looked at me, seductively drew me in. She handed me her jacket, she must have noticed I was cold. As she handed me the jacket, I noticed there was blood all over her shirt. She had been stabbed. I offered to help her and let her stay with us since she so kindly decided to take us home especially in her condition.
I looked at the young woman and noticed she was looking at me too. I noticed my hand on hers, I must've grabbed her hand when I told her to slow down. I brought my hand back, resting on my lap. I asked her what's her name and where she's from but she ignored me. The drive was really awkward with silence after that. I looked out the window and stared at all the beautiful tall buildings. The city lights looked so magical at night.
