Morana's POV:
I blinked my eyes open a few times until my vision became clearer. I looked over at Sophia as the door opened aggressively with 3 men in sight. It was the gang.
"Sorry Boss, we'll be on our way out" Aiden said while looking at Sophia next to me.
Aiden was one of my gunman in the gang. He seemed a lot more distant than the rest of the members. He always had a serious expression and was unusually quiet but now and then he would get out of his shell especially if he had a few drinks. Aiden was a new member which is why I always kept an eye out for him.
They must've came looking for me since I didn't come home last night.
"Who are these people and what are they doing in our house?" Sophia's friend began yelling in surprise.
I jumped out of Sophia's bed and left with the gang. I could tell Sophia was upset that I didn't bid her goodbye especially since she helped me so much.
Sophia's POV:
"She didn't even look back at me or say bye while leaving" I thought to myself.
"Who was that?" Elena asked.
"I don't know" I replied as I let out a soft sigh. It's so crazy, we spent the night together and even fell asleep together, yet she left like it was nothing.
Morana's POV:
I couldn't say goodbye to her. I don't really do goodbyes.
I went straight back to work. I was working from home since I was injured and the gang went on missions while I handled business meetings.
Weeks go by and yet all I could think about was Sophia.
