(A/N: They were one of two main antagonists to Silver Team, my main OC hero team. They're gonna be a deadly and dangerous foe as they'll be a challenge to Silver Team and their allies.)

==========

History: One of the most legendary and best Patriot Squads in the Confederate military, Valiant Squad rose to prominence as their helped their nation conquer most of the world. The team was personally selected by the current Confederate President himself due to each individuals' skills and abilities on the battlefield. Initially a band of misfits, Richard E. Lee would transform the team into more than just a collection of Patriots. Under his leadership, Valiant Squad would become a formidable and elite fighting force. Either acting as a special forces/covert ops unit, or even acting as frontline troops, these Patriots would significantly turn the tide of war in favor of the UCA, especially when the Confederacy kickstarted WW3 and invaded UGA territory. However, everything changed for them forever when they're forced to fight an old enemy, they thought they finally destroyed in the aftermath of WW2. This was when Valiant Squad and their Confederate allies would be forced to fight against the Union of American Continents and their allies when they attempted to invade and conquer their world. Worst of all, their loyalties and morality will be tested when they face a group of Guardian supersoldiers called Silver Team who will undoubtably be their deadliest rivals throughout the war.

Famous Quotes:

-"I ain't no white supremacist nor do I agree with the concepts of slavery! But if I had to choose between my own people over everyone else, them my people come first!"

-"Maybe the concept of slavery doesn't work in your world, but it does work here! Even if I hate it!"

-"You're going down!"

-"You don't have any right to judge me! You have no idea what me and family had to go through! What we were forced to endure in order to survive!"

-"You Yankees are no better than us Rednecks. We might be on opposite sides, but we're both playing the same game."

Background: Richard grew up with a humble and loving family, thus allowing him to have a normal childhood. His parents taught him the morality of right and wrong, teaching him to be a humble and kind person. Thus, Richard never grew up but prejudice or racist views against other humans with a different skin color. As he grew from being a teenager to an adult, Richard was seen as a celebrity due to him being the direct blood descendant of the legendary Robert E. Lee himself. However, he never let the flame cloud his judgment as he still remained both humble and compassionate towards others, allowing him to win many friends and admirers.

It was only when he joined the military that it was finally his time to shine. Like his ancestor, Richard was a prodigy in displaying leadership skills and coordinate effectively with others which often leads to victories in simulations. Eventually, he was chosen to become a part of Project: SUPERIOR where he would become a Patriot-Class Supersoldier, making him a deadlier and more dangerous individual. From there, he would lead a team called Valiant Squad with his best friend Tobias 'Stonewall' Jackson and they would work together to deal with the terrorist organization known as the Washington Rebellion.

But then everything changed when the Confederacy had declared war against the UGA and soon his eyes were opened when he witnessed the atrocities being committed by his fellow countrymen. Richard was exposed to evil acts such as slavery, racism, and genocides being committed by his own people. Needless to say, this had left him with doubt and became disillusioned seeing the true face of what America had become. When he was allowed a leave, Richard confronted his parents, demanding an explanation of the things he's witnessed, and his parents told him to truth about the true face of the Confederacy.

Richard was horrified that the country he faithfully served had become nothing short of a monster. When asked why he still served them, his parents said they didn't have a choice and because if they allowed their enemies to win, it would mean the murder to their entire family. Eventually, despite his doubts and questions against the Confederacy, Richard was connived to stay loyal to the cause in an effort to protect his family. He hated what he was forced to do and witnessed many more atrocities, but Richard was determined to protect his family, even at the cost of the suffering of others.

However, everything changed when the Confederacy foolishly invaded another world and now Richard's country was forced to face the consequences of their actions. He was horrified to learn that the Earth they invaded was a world where the Union was victorious in the American Civil War, and they now had the technology necessary to rival the Confederate military. This will prove to be Richard's deadliest challenge yet as he, Valiant Squad, and the Confederacy are now forced to fight a war against an enemy they thought they finally destroyed in the aftermath of WW2.

Worst of all, Richard will be tested when he faces his greatest enemy and soon to be rival named John S. Grant, a teenager who is the direct blood descendant of Ulysses S. Grant.

Personality: He's depicted as a model Soldier and given his family legacy; he's seen as an inspiration that many Confederate Soldiers strive to become. Richard was also known for being a kind and caring leader, willing to do what's necessary to keep them safe while also trying to lead them to victory with as few casualties as possible. Furthermore, despite being a soldier of the Confederacy, Richard isn't racist, nor he wasn't considered a white supremacist. He had no discriminate or prejudice ideals against non-whites, including Black Africans. Truthfully, Richard hated and is disgusted at how most of his fellow Americans were racist monsters while believed in genocide and ethnic purging so they can have their 'white and pure world'. Due to his family upbringing, he was horrified to see what America had become and that it was no longer the nation the Founding Father's fought so hard to create.

Of course, he wisely kept that personality from his fellow Confederates except for a select few. The man knows of the consequences that'll happen to both him and his family if he ever showed sympathy to non-whites, especially those of African descent. Yet over time and after witnessing the atrocities the Confederacy had committed over the years, the man had started to become disillusioned, questioning his morality and loyalties to his home country as he realizes that he was truly in the wrong while participating in world domination. The only reason he still continues to stay loyal and serve the Confederate military is because he still wishes to protect his family. Despite being disgusted by the concepts of slavery and racism, he still feels the need to stay loyal to his people in order keep those he cherishes safe.

Richard is a man wracked with guilt for the war crimes his done and the mindless slaughter he allowed to happen, yet he still believed that deep down he had the power to change the Confederacy for the better. Of course, he now had to put those feelings aside to the return of the Union and how he has to deal with his most dangerous opponent he's ever face which is a teenage boy name John S. Grant.

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Rank: Major General

Nationality: American

Callsigns/Nicknames:

Valiant 1-2

Famous Quotes:

-"You think I wanted this?! You think I wanted to murder and enslave all these innocent people?! I only joined the Confederate military to protect my home! My Family!"

-"I'll split you in two!"

-"I chose my side! It may not be the right side but it's the side that can protect my family!"

Background: Tobias grew up in a humble and caring yet strict family. One that emphasized on pride with military service. Born in the state of Virginia, his family weren't slave owners, but they were indeed friends with those who still owned slaves. Growing up, Tobias was always uncomfortable when it came to the concepts of slavery. As a young child, he was forced to bear witness to things no child should ever have the see and see how children his age were so compliant with barbaric and savage practices. The only reason he was compliant with the practices were because he didn't have a choice, mainly because he was scared of how others would treat him and how his parents strictly told him not to lash out on anti-slavery sentiments, even though they too were sympathetic to anti-slavery sentiments.

By the time he went into high school, he became a star football player and became best friends with Richard E. Lee. Together with him, Tobias became one of the most popular students in school and was seen as a model student many looked up to. Eventually he would join the military and become a part of the Patriot Program. Being a direct blood descendant of Thomas Jonathan 'Stonewall' Jackson, a lot of pressure was put on him to live up to his family legacy. After receiving his augmentations and his APEX Powered Assault Armor, he would join Valiant Squad which comprised of his best friend as team leader and two others. Given the fact there was a war going on, Tobias was thrown into the frontlines and was forced to witness many of his people's atrocities. He was horrified to see the kind of monsters his people were and while he knew that not all Confederate soldiers were truly evil, he became disillusioned due to what his country had become.

At one point during his military service, Tobias had doubts about the Confederate cause and seeing just how wrong it was, he had plans about either going AWOL or defecting to either the rebels or the UGA cause. Those plans were put to a stop when he was confronted by Richard who told him that he was aware of his plans to leave the Confederate military. At first, he thought he would be forced to fight against his best friend, until Richard was able to talk him down and convince him to stay loyal to the Confederate cause. The man explained to Tobias the consequences that could happen and how it'll affect his family. Richard explains that even if he did defect and help their enemies, there would be nothing to stop them from taking their revenge and massacring their fellow American people, including their families and loved on. Richard explains to Tobias that while the Confederate cause isn't the right one, it is their only option to protect their families from those who no doubt want revenge.

With this revelation and knowing full well that Richard his right, Tobias had no choice but to remain loyal to the Confederate cause. He still didn't like it obviously, but he was now more committed to the Confederacy more than ever before if it means protecting his family. That commitment was soon strengthened when the UCA captured a UGA portal device and after reverse engineering it, the Confederacy invaded a world, only for their armies to be violently pushed back. This was when Tobias would be forced to fight the toughest challenge of his life which is fighting a war against the Union of American Continents.

Personality: Described as a man who would be considered a tragic figure in Confederate society. A man with good morality and honor, he's firmly against the concepts of slavery and despises it to his very core. He is also horrified seeing how monstrous his fellow Americans have become. While he knows that not all Confederate soldiers are evil to their core nor do they support slavery, he's well aware many of them do it out of fear of their lives or for the safety of their families. At one point Tobias wished to either go AWOL or defect to the enemy side to correct his sins. However, he was convinced by Richard to remain loyal after learned the consequences that could happen to his family if their enemies were allowed to have their way with their victory. It was because of this; Tobias was still loyal to the UCA.

As both a soldier and a person, Tobias was similar to Richard in which he isn't racist or prejudice against non-white people, including those who were Black Africans. When it comes to the treatment of his fellow soldiers, he cares for them and makes sure he doesn't lead them into danger that could lead to unnecessary casualties. However, when it came to soldiers who were slave owners or those with a racial superiority complex due to being white, Tobias hated those kinds of people. The only reason he didn't lash out or call them out was because he knows what'll happen if he ever shows sympathy towards non-white people. Still, that didn't mean he like it and there were times he tried to stop them from crossing the line with the racial prejudice. Though he did get in trouble for these actions sometimes, he was thankfully not arrested and potentially killed for it due to being considered a 'traitor' to his own people.

Mad Dog

Famous Quotes:

-"The weak who cannot fight for themselves do not deserve to live."

-"Show then no mercy! Give them no quarter!"

-"Hate is the surest weapon."

Background: Born into a slave owning family in Florida, Jessie was indoctrinated at a young age to follow the Confederacy's racist and white supremacist ideals. Being a slave owner, Jessie is ruthless towards her family's slaves and has gotten far worse over the years. From middle school to high school, to college, Jessie is a prodigy who eventually enlisted into the military at the age of 21. Though realistically, Jessie joined the military so she could experience combat and murder non-white people however she pleases. While most would find war both terrifying and traumatizing, Jessie actually enjoyed fighting, calling it the 'time of her life'. Eventually due to her skilled set and combat experience, she would be chosen to join the Patriot Program and become a supersoldier. After receiving her augmentations and APEX Powered Assault Armor, she would go on to join Valiant Squad and go on multiple missions which involved either putting down rebels, capturing or killing runaway slaves, or disrupting UGA operations.

Being a hardcore loyalist to the Confederate cause, she follows orders without question and ensures she completes the mission, regardless of civilian casualties or collateral damages. This was something Richard didn't approve of as he despised Jessie's violent and erratic tendencies, as it not only caused unnecessary deaths, but it would often times put their own allies in danger. Nevertheless, Jessie would prove herself to be a dangerous assent and be instrumental in multiple Confederate victories. However, Jessie would finally get the fight of her life when the Confederacy opens a porta to another version of Earth, only for their forces to be violently pushed back. This was when Jessie learns their enemy is called the Union of American Continents, an alternate version of America where the Union had WON the American Civil War, and the Confederacy was disbanded.

While most Confederates soldiers were terrified of having to fight against their old enemy, Jessie was thrilled by this as it means she'll be getting the fight she so rightfully deserves, meaning she can fight against opponents who would actually give her a proper challenge.

Personality: Jessie is an outright ruthless and racist individual who is fanatically loyal to the Confederate cause. One with a sadistic and violent personality, Jessie is the kind of person no one wants to mess with. She enjoys a good fight and isn't one to shy away from bloodshed. Despite being a literal bloodthirsty maniac, she's not one to be underestimated. She's a skilled fighter, expert in firearms and hand-to-hand combat. But her most preferred method of fighting is up close and personal as she enjoys pummeling her enemies with her bare hands.

When it comes to civilians, specifically enemy civilians, she has no quarrel in killing them. Not even children are safe from her wrath as she murders then outright without mercy. This makes her feared on the battlefield by her enemies. In her eyes, as long as the mission is achieved, any civilian casualties are justified. Essentially this makes her a spite filled and zealous woman who wants nothing more than to bring the total annihilation of the Confederacy enemies, no matter the cost or consequences.

When it comes to allied soldiers, her relationship with them is somewhat complicated. While she doesn't necessarily hate them, she has been known to execute those who show cowardice in the face of danger. In her mind, any sign of weakness the Confederate military shows must be cut out, least their enemies exploit that weakness to gain an upper hand against them. This unsurprisingly puts her at odds with her team leader Richard who hates her for murdering good men and tearing them away from their families. While Jessie is willing to follow Richard's orders or commands without question, its incidents like these where she doesn't hide her disdain for him, viewing him as being too soft and merciful towards enemies who no doubt could take advantage of his kindness and murder their allies. This sometimes makes the female supersoldier question if Richard is actually fit to even lead their team to victory.

Name: Julia Longstreet (Descendant of James Longstreet)

Looks:

Age: 29

Gender: Female

Rank: Brigadier General

Nationality: American

Callsigns/Nicknames:

Valiant 1-4

War Maiden

Famous Quotes:

-"Today's civilians are tomorrow's soldiers. What do you want me to do, wait?"

-"We don't get to decide what's right and what's wrong. The only thing that matters is following our orders."

-"Our loyalty is to our Confederacy. Our people. Our family. Or have you forgotten about that Lee?"

Background: Born in the state of California, Julia grew up in a slave holding family as she was indoctrinated with the ways of slavery and white supremacy. She grew up to be an obedient and disciplined child who followed her parent's orders without question. That's not to say they didn't love her, but her parents wished to raise her to be a proper lady and to understand the importance of family. As such, she would grow up to be considered a prodigy as she would ace her classes and be top ranked in her school years. Eventually she would join the military academy and excelled greatly in her military training. Because of her skillset, she was chosen to join the Patriot program. After receiving her augmentations and APEX Powered Assault Armor, she would join Valiant Squad under the command of Richard E. Lee.

As a member of Valiant Squad, Julia is an expert marksman, proficient with a sniper rifle and acts as the team's recon scout. Her time on the battlefield would make her a legend, earning her the nickname as 'War Maiden' due to her massive kill count and how her presence would help turn the tide of battle. However, she had also grown to be a controversial figure when dealing with enemy forces, mainly when it comes to enemy civilians. While she isn't sadistic or ruthless like her teammate Jessia, just like her, Julia has no problem murdering civilians and kills every last one of them right down to the last child. She doesn't hate them per say but she views it as a necessary evil in order to ensure the survival of her people and loved ones in the Confederacy.

This gave her the mindset of 'doing what's necessary no matter how cruel or evil it is'. Julia is extremely loyal to the Confederacy and will do whatever it takes to ensure her country's victory. From her perspective, she looks at things more 'realistically' as she's well aware that in order to defeat the UGA, they needed to kill a LOT of their people and force them into brutal submission in order to get them to surrender. In Julia's eyes, the more civilians are killed, the less soldiers the UGA has a chance to recruit. Even the lives of children matter little to her as she's willing to murder them in cold blood if it means her fellow American people stay safe.

So, when the Confederacy opened a portal to another world due to stealing UGA technology in China, only for their military to be violently pushed back, Julia would be forced to face her deadliest challenge yet and that was fighting against the Union of American Continents and their allies. Knowing full well the dangers that will happen to both her people and her family, Julia is determined to defeat the Union and ensure another Confederate victory against their long-hated foes.

Personality: Julia is often described as being pragmatic when it comes to the war between the UCA and the UGA. Cold and apathetic to the suffering she commits, she will stop at nothing to complete her objectives, even at the cost of collateral damage and loss of innocent life. She's infamous for leading massacres on civilians and shooting down transport ships. She will do whatever is required to complete the mission and shows little to no empathy for her enemies. In Julia's eyes, killing enemy opposition, whether they're soldiers or civilians, is a necessary evil if it means protecting the Confederacy and her people. In her eyes, a rebel or UGA victory would bring about chaos and destruction that would bring about the downfall of human civilization. These views also extend to the point where Julia believes that any enemy civilian even loosely connected to the UGA are potential terrorists and should be put down.

The only supposed 'redeeming' quality Julia has is her relationship with her fellow soldiers. Despite her cold and apathetic attitude, the female supersoldier does indeed care for the well-being of her fellow soldiers and does what she can to keep them alive. While she understands war leads to mass casualties, she still cares enough to do all she can to bring them back to their families as they're still her people she swore to protect. This makes her be seen as a 'Hero' in the eyes of her fellow Confederate Americans and earned many respects from the Confederate military.

She is also someone who believes in the ideas of Social Darwinism, a firm believer in natural selection and the idea that the strong dominate the weak. In her minds, only the strong deserve to live on the planet. As such, Julia believes that slavery is considered the natural way of life, and that the genocide of all black Africans is justifiable under the pretense of 'cleansing the world from savages and barbarians'. Given her childhood upbringing and how she was raised to become the person she is now, it was only natural that Julia believes that Anglo-Saxon, white people were made to be the dominant species on the planet while all non-white people are meant to be their slaves.

As expected, this kind of attitude and way of thinking had put her at odds with Richard. Julia was well aware of her leader's disapproval and hatred against killing civilians, committing acts of genocide, and showing racial superiority as an excuse to be discriminate and prejudice. Though she is loyal and follows Richard's orders without question, her leader's actions and how he often times shows mercy to the enemy makes Julia question if he's even fit to lead their team. This in turn leads both Julia and Richard to butt heads, with Julia sometimes even challenging Richard for the right to lead Valiant Squad whenever she views him as being inadequate. Regardless, now those feelings were put on hold due to the appearance of the UAC and their allies, forcing her to fight way past her best in order to protect her home and her people from the otherworldly invaders.
