Symbols crashed as he announced Talia's name, and the picture of her turned to a video. The girl was wearing a wedding dress, and from what you could see in her blurry face, she smiled.

"My divine Talia," Mischa began, buttoning up his shirt. "When I look into your gorgeous eyes, I do not see the boy that I am, but the man I must become to possess you."

You felt your heart melting as he spoke of Talia, and the way he buttoned up his shirt. You knew deep down Mischa was a kind man, and that he was respectful. Mischa was not the angriest boy in town, but rather the most loving boy in town.

"I want to take all the pain from your soul, and in the passion factory of my heart," he paused, taking a shaky breath. "Transform it into functional joy."

He slowly turned to the video of the blurred girl, who continued to smile. But she said no words, so quiet as Mischa spoke to the video of her.

"I want to take your hand by the Cheremosh River, and with all Ukraine as witness take you as my wife."

Slowly, you felt your mouth part and you began to sing gentle backing vocals with the rest of the choir as Mischa continued to monologue. He reached for the projection of Talia, trying to contain his feelings.

"And we shall sing, and dance...and drink!" he exclaimed, laughing quietly. "And then I shall whisper in your ear, let rivers run wild, or let them be damned."

"My perfect Talia, I lay my masculinity at the altar of your maidenhood."

Then, you felt your body moving. You weren't sure how, but Karnak's control had managed to dress you in a long skirt and a flower crown that sat nestled in your hair. In your hands, was a red belt.

Talia

Hey!

Talia

Hey!

You stepped towards Mischa, coming around him and tying the belt. The entire time he sang beautifully accented words in Ukrainian, stuff you couldn't understand. You brought a hand up, cupping his cheek and making him look your way. You gave a smile or reassurance, before moving away again.

Talia

Hey!

Talia!

Talia!

You and the choir then moved up to the projection, who still had a blurry face. You sang with adoration, but also confusion as compared to the rest of the choir. Why couldn't you see this face and identify the woman who held Mischa's heart?

La la la la la la

La la la la la la

As you all sang in the background, spinning and twirling your skirts, Noel and Ricky held a giant piece of cloth that sat on Ocean's head as she slowly made her way towards Mischa.

The cloth was then flipped over, showing another projection of Talia. Mischa was quick to chase after it, pressing his hand to the cloth as the projection and the cloth was taken away.

You and the girls then came forward, circling Mischa as you continued to sing. He slowly sang along, his voice deep with his Ukrainian accent.

He then moved to the side, as did Jane who disappeared into the background. The cloth was held over you, Constance, and Ocean's torso, showing another projection. The cloth was then taken away, and the three of you came forward.

You held your skirts wide at the sides, yet another projection of Talia being shown. The three of you all sang in sync, sometimes twirling around. It wasn't before long that the girls went to the side, leaving you by yourself.

You looked back as you sang, seeing Mischa come forward. You twirled around him, letting the projection of Talia hit his torso. The Ukrainian looked down at it, taking deep breaths before he belted out the most beautiful voice you had ever heard.

It was like glory to your ears.

Mischa's voice began to die down, and he backed up. You and the rest of the choir came around him, coming closer as his voice became quieter and quieter.

All of the sudden, more hip-hop music came on as you held hands with the rest of the choir and circled Mischa. It didn't take long for you to realize that this was his rage again, furious he would never be able to see his lover.

I wanna get with you baby!

I wanna get with you baby!

Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Then, everyone left the main stage of the warehouse. Slowly but surely, there was another projection. It was Mischa, running towards Talia who had her back turned. He scooped her up into his arms and twirled her around with pure joy.

Talia, oh my love

The two kissed, and Talia was slowly turning towards the camera. But before her face could be revealed, the projection clicked off with a final key of a piano. Everything went dark, before the warehouse lit up once more.

The choir gathered around Mischa, all with solemn expressions. You stepped forward, not sure what to say. The Ukrainian looked down at his phone, breathing shakily.

His amber gaze flicked up to you, and you stood there a moment, flabbergasted. He brushed past Ocean and Constance to stand before you, to which you shifted where you stood for a moment.

"Thank you," he mumbled, struggling to get the words out. "You are woman of kindness Y/n-"

He cut himself off, turning away to look at the rest of the choir for a moment. Just like you, none of them knew what to say. What could they say?

"Look at me," he forced out, trying to dry the tears that welled in his amber eyes. "I am physically weeping!"

Mischa looked like he panicked for a moment, not wanting anyone to see just how much he was crying. So, he darted forward and embraced you in a tight hug. You stumbled back from the impact, but slowly eased into the hug, draping your arms around his torso.

You hushed him quietly, easing him with sweet nothings. Words couldn't explain the amount of sympathy you had for him, for all the sorrows he endured in life. He lost his mother, he lost Talia, he lost everything he ever loved.

You wished you never took your life for granted. While gently whispering to the Ukrainian, you guided him over to somewhere where you could both sit down. He buried his teary face into the crook of your neck, and you ran your fingers through his thick locks while comforting him quietly.

"Look at all of us," Ocean piped up, looking around at the choir. "Bonding...not even thinking about who we'll vote for."

That was the last straw for you, a deep anger emanating in your dead soul. You shot up from your seat and stormed over to Ocean with your wobbling walk and shoved a finger at her chest.

"Will you shut up for once?" you snapped, eyes blazing with fury. "Honestly Ocean, I can't believe the amount of audacity you have to bring up the stupid vote while one of your choir members is crying!"

No one said a word, except for you. For once, Ocean said nothing to try and protect herself. But your bottled emotions were building up more and more, and you felt yourself bursting at the seams.

"Honestly you should give up at this point, no one is going to vote for you! Telling us all we're nothing to the world, not even being nice to your best friend, disregarding Jane as a person, and thinking you can sway Ricky by telling him you were the one who got him into the choir!" you screamed, fists clenched. "Just because your parents are neglectful doesn't mean you have the excuse of being a shitty person!"

Your chest heaved with heavy breaths, and you glared up at Ocean. She looked like you had stabbed her multiple times in the chest, eyes blown wide and lips parted with silent words. You felt guilty, but you didn't say anything.

You stormed away from the eyes of the choir, sitting over by Jane who watched with a blank expression. You trusted her not to judge you for your outburst, so you leaned into her side with your knees tucked up to your chest. Just like you assumed, Jane merely looked down at you, before wrapping her free arm around your torso.

Why did she feel so familiar to you?

Before you knew it, Ricky had decided that he would go next. Karnak didn't protest as he flipped the lever. At first, Ricky's backstory showed up before they glitched out to comic book pictures.

"Ricky Potts, born June 5th, Gemini, the dual nature," he began, turning to watch the excited boy shift as Karnak monologued.

You zoned him out, wiping your face and rising as your body was taken control of again. You couldn't help but notice the stares the rest of the choir gave you, and you winced. You probably shouldn't have bursted out like that.

You and the choir gathered around Ricky, to which you zoned out for a moment. That was until you found your body stiffening in choreographed movements as Ricky suddenly sang.

I'm just a swingin!
