The darkness seemed to swallow you whole, eating away at your ghastly figure. But, nothing happened. Your consciousness still prolonged after Karnak went silent, so what was happening? You were supposed to be gone, nothing.

You slowly opened your eyes; vision gradually adjusting to the darkness of the warehouse. Your nerves revived, and you felt the embrace of the choir still standing around you.

"Guys?" you whispered, searching the darkness for the comfort of your friends.

There was a long...long pause.

"We're here, Y/n," Noel spoke first, his hand shifting as it rested on your shoulder.

You immediately felt relieved, and uncurled as light slowly returned. It lit up the warehouse, revealing Karnak. He was dead, hunched over the little box his body was trapped in.

The choir slowly stepped back, all looking around. Though no one said a word, you all shared one single thought. What happened? You shouldn't be here, you shouldn't still be in the warehouse.

You were just sailing through space, with no ups, nor downs. It was so beautiful, and yet so strange. But it was more than just spinning around a carnival ride, watching the fair with a giddy smile.

But it's not a game, it's not a game.

Ocean began to sing softly, stepping along the creaking wooden floors.

Whoa no no,

It's not a game

It's not a game...

The choir joined together, all quiet and hesitant. You were probably the quietest out of them all, but then, there was a small spark. Something swelling in your heart that made your voice rise.

You stepped forward, a small smile beginning to cross your lips as she stepped forward, taking the attention of the choir. All of their gazes were so different, yet similar at the same time.

Ocean was curious, and surprised. Constance was cheerful, and encouraging. Ricky was proud, and bold. Noel was observing, and intrigued. And then Mischa, who seemed to be lost in thought as you came forward.

It's just a ride!!

It's just a ride!!

After you sang those first two notes, lights began to sparkle yellow, pink, and blue. They all danced around you like a spotlight, making you seemingly glow. The choir all burst into grins, coming forward to spin and dance with you.

It's just a ride!

It's just a ride!

The choir then all came together, looking up to the glorious sky that hung over the warehouse. Stars twinkled, lighting up your hopes and happiness as you looked up at them. Like nothing was wrong.

We're all just sailing through space,

There's no up, there's no down

It's all so beautiful and strange

But it's so much more than spinning round

Yes it's everything you loved

And it's everything you dreamed

And it's everything you shared

And it's everything that seemed so

Oh so terrifying

Turn it round!

The warehouse's floors began to move again, making you all twirl. Your skirt billowed as you pranced over to Constance, taking her by the hands and dancing with her. Bright, toothy smiles adorned everyone as you all spun together.

Constance then let go, rushing over to Ocean with a giddy expression. The two began to run and sing with each other. Noel approached Ricky, who lifted the poor boy's spirits with his smile.

You looked around, finally spotting Mischa who awkwardly stood alone. The music picked up, as did your heart as you darted over to the one you were glad to call your friend.

He held out his arms, and you leapt into his embrace with a laugh of utter joy. He spun you round, making the skirt of your uniform flow and flutter around your legs. He soon let you onto the floor again.

He brought his hands back, but you were quick to grab them. You tugged on him, but in a way that was inviting. Mischa allowed you to, letting himself be happy for once as you all sang and danced together.

It's just a ride!

It's just a ride!

As the choir sang, you could specifically hear yourself and Mischa. His voice was gorgeous, and complimented your own as you spun in the lights that made you feel like you were back at the Fall Fair.

God, it made you love him even more.

The choir came together again, all facing the strange expanse of space that revealed itself from behind the curtain. The way out, the offer of another chance at life. You all held hands, fingers interlaced.

And the world will keep on spinning

With no ending or beginning

So just

Take a look around

Take a look around...

Take a look around...

And round... And round... And round...

Suddenly, you weren't in the warehouse anymore. You were in the cart again, on the Cyclone. Wind whipped in your hair, strands of it getting in your face. Your heart thudded in your chest, hitting against your ribs.

Darkness enveloped you, and you all separated once more. But you knew, deep inside of you, that you and the choir were still together. Death may not do you part, not even the will of the world could keep you away from your true family.

But then, as you accepted your death, you heard something. Voices, muffled and worried sounding. One sounded like Ocean, her higher pitched tone catching your interest. Where was that coming from.

You waded in the dark pool of space, trying to find the location of Ocean. It slowly got louder, and noises of all kinds assaulted your ears, almost giving you a headache as you came closer...and closer...

Was that beeping?
