"Juliene!"
Feather's roar gets her twin to turn around. She lets out a playful growl and the twins come face to face.
"Did you use my lipstick?"
"So what if I did?!"
"Huh! You made me fucking dye my hair pink for a whole day for using your hair brush just once! And now you dare to use my lipstick?"
"That was ages ago, and I didn't know it was your lipstick! It was among mine and if it is so important to you, you should've kept better care of your things!"
Juliene scoffs and rolls her eyes, their noses almost touching from how close they're to each other, yet screaming like they're on opposite river banks.
"You took it. Don't blame me! You know all my stuff has 'J' written on them. You were careless and used my stuff!"
"For fuck' sake, Juliene! It's just a damn lipstick. I'll buy you a store if it matters so much."
"Huh. Keep your arrogant butt compensenation to yourself. I want fair deal."
Juliene backs away a little and crosses her arms across her chest.
Feather copies her, both pair of eyes speaking the language of fire.
"On the field then?" The older twin arches a brow.
Juliene smirks. "On the field."

"Are they going to be okay?" Florian asks fearfully to the taller man who looks unamused.
They've all currently gathered around the arena where dual combats take place. A ring in the middle of the huge clearing.
"Of course they are. It happens as often as shifting around here." Grant smirks, arms over his chest and shoulders held high.
Florian still feels unsettled and skeptically looks over at the sisters amidst the ring, ready to fight, over a lipstick?
He feels confused. It is a side of Feather he's just discovering. Even if he won't realize it now, he loves this side of the young Alpha.
It shows the playful, amusing personality she bears.
He smiles.
To his much surprise, people pass by the fight like it's nothing, confirming Grant's statement from earlier.
It's kinda funny to the Omega witnessing this for the first time.
"One time, Feather made Juls stay upside down on her hands for 2 whole hours because she broke her favorite mug.
Then after the punishment, Feather aided the blisters on her palms and the sisters did karaoke all night."
Florian listens in on the tales in amazement, smiling to himself and asking for more. Eager to know about the woman who has his life revolved around now.
His heart fills with joy and warmth at all the new addition of knowledge. He feels one more step closer to the blonde, as if he now knows her better, and their bond strengthens.
Grant spews everything that had happened since he joined the pack as a chauffeur and found Juliene as his mate. Waving his hands animatedly, causing Florian to laugh occasionally.
They are too immersed in the conversation to notice a certain Alpha staring at them from afar.
Feather's eyes shift to where her mate is, laughing and giggling with amusement dancing around the stunning grey orbs.
She gets too distracted by the heavenly sight of her mate, which gives advantage to the red head.
Juliene smirks and lands her first punch at her sister, throwing her backwards. But Feather isn't known to be the strongest Alpha for no reason.
Her feet staggers against the floor board as she puts her full force on skidding to a halt, holding out her arms for balance and she gracefully stops herself from falling on her butt.
Both pair of eyes flash reddish, and growls bounce around the forest corners as the fight begins.
__________
"Sorry."
Florian mutters for the thousandth time while applying disinfectant to Feather's very tiny minuscle wounds.
In reality, she doesn't need to be aided as they'd disappear within an hour. But she didn't have the heart to deny the caring eyes wanting to treat her.
Which brings them here.
"Flo, I'm fine. It's nothing. We've been doing this since we were 6."
His eyes widen in shock.
"Really? Wow. Th-that's cool. Do you feel good?"
At first Feather thinks he's asking about her wounds, then she realizes he wants to know about how she feels about the fights.
A soft smile grazes her lips as her eyes blossom with several memories shared with her sister.
"Yeah.
Our mom and dad died when we were only one year old. They were in a car accident. Leaving us behind, me, to start preparing to lead at an early age.
We shifted together on our first birthday, everything happened to us in sync. So, after our parents died, we were immediately put in the trainings.
Since we are Alpha blood, our senses and strength are unmatched. We captured the rules and regulations fast.
We barely understood the lack of parents' love at that age. It also helped that we are always with each other, being the support and love pillars needed in times of dark.
But there were days, we both felt like drowning among all the responsibilities and tasks at hand. It was overwhelming. We were barely child-"
Her voice cracks and she blinks rapidly to hold the unshed tears back.
Florian, on the other hand, lets his tears flow down his cheeks relentlessly. His heart hurting for his Alpha.
"During one of those days, we found this coping mechanism. It started off with something as minimal as a toy gun. It was mine, it was a limited edition model, uncle James got me when I was coronated as the next in line Alpha on our 5th birthday.
She hid it somewhere to annoy me, and it pushed me over edge since our parents death anniversary was close as well.
I blew up at her face." She chuckles at the bittersweet memory.
"And damn, it gave us so much relief afterwards. It felt amazing, to blow off some steam, to feel the freedom of being able to let go. Even just for a few minutes.
We both laughed hysterically after the fight, bruised and bleeding, laying on our backs on the ground outside the house, rain pouring on our quickly healing bodies.
It was one of the best days of my life. Since then, we carried on with this rule. To let out whenever we felt like it, starting with no matter how useless a matter is. Just to let each other feel freedom for a few minutes, or hours."
Feather was too lost in her thoughts untill a soft sniffle snaps her back to reality.
"Aw, baby." She coos, seeing Florian literally bawling his eyes out.
Before she could wipe his tears away, his small frame lunges at her with arms wrapping around her neck.
"It-it must've been s-so hard for you." He hiccups, hugging her with all his might, face buried in the crook of her neck.
"Hey, it's okay. We're okay now." Feather rubs his back up and down, stroking his hair with the other hand.
A few tears slip past her own eyes and she holds him a little tighter.
"You're so brave." He praises, talking causes his lips to brush the skin of Feather's collarbone, and she shivers.
Florian notices it and the second time, he intentionally lets his lips plant a loving kiss right on her collarbone.
"Flo." Feather half warns, half moans.
Florian shudders hearing the tone lingering in her voice.
He slowly pulls away from the embrace and stares in her eyes, feeling goosebumps rising along his skin at the darkness of lust that looms the Alpha's eyes.
"Can I kiss you, Feather?"
