A blood freezing growl echoes, causing the three storeyed house to shake like a damn earthquake occured.

Each member falls down on their knees from the force of it, including Alpha Patrick.

Mate mate mate mate mate mate

Feather's wolf chants like a wild animal, her eyes pitch black informing the dominant presence of her wolf, and herself.

Her form trembles in rage, but before putting her mate's culprit to their place, she deems it logical to aid to him first.

"Juliene! Get the car ready to take off."

"Alright."

Feather rushes towards her mate and crouches down to his level, her hands terribly shaking as she hovers them over his frail body.

Eyes as dark as the storm clouds now well up with water. Determination.

To take revenge. To destruct. To annihilate.

"My poor baby..." She softly whispers.

Gently, a word unknown to Alpha Arya's dictionary, she brushes some dark hair out of the boy's face and the touch sends an immediate sense of relief to the aching Omega.

A low hum erupts from him, bringing a small smile to the Alpha's face.

She doesn't hesitate to scoop him up in her arms, he feels as light as a feather.

Note the irony.

Holding his small frame against her chest, Feather races out of the storage room, through the hallway.

She hears the cries and gasps and pleas for forgiveness while passing everyone. But doesn't bat an eye.

Reaching her car, she carefully puts her mate's beaten up body in the backseat.

Juliene's eyes visibly widens at the sight but she doesn't say anything. Her eyes subtly scan over her twin, noting the blood and how horribly she's shaking.

Her lips stay tight while Feather hurries to fetch a blanket from the trunk of the car and drapes it around Florian's shivering body.

"Take him home. Get Dr. Maurice to cure him. Fast! I'll follow you in the other car. Grant will stay." She orders her Beta.

"Yes, Alpha." Juliene bows and rushes to the driver's seat.

Feather's longing eyes linger at the unconscious boy a bit longer before the car starts and Juliene speeds away.

Exhaling a sharp breath, her fists clench and she can feel her canines sharpening as the need to avenge her mate becomes strong.

Her wolf pushing to be out in the surface and create chaos.

"Patrick!"

Her voice booms around the house and with another bone cracking growl, she shifts.

Instead of her tall, slim figure now stands an even bigger wolf. Bigger than any average Alpha.

Pitch black fur, sleek and silky like the glisten of the moonlight, eyes as red as blood, canines elongated and slick with raging saliva.

"Have mercy, Alpha Queen."

Have mercy. Have mercy. Have mercy. Have mercy.

Rambles and cries drift around the house, everyone but Alpha Patrick is able to form any word.

He's on his knees, frozen and eyes downcasted, he's ready.

To accept his fate.

No one can escape the wrath of the Alpha Queen.

Cautious and predatory steps circle around Alpha Patrick.

Heavy thuds of Feather's wolf's paws rumble against the wooden boards just as lightning flashes outside, and it starts downpouring.

Feather chuckles at the idea of an aesthetic way to die, or kill.

"Eyes up!"

She uses the mind-link only she's able to use as the Alpha Queen, the link which gives her the power to connect any wolf all throughout the world.

Every pair of eyes look up, fear written in bold in them, bodies trembling and tears streaming down their faces.

"This will happen to whoever feeds upon the weak and poor. To whoever betrays or lies to me!

Don't you fucking dare forget this moment. The moment your Alpha Queen avenges her mate!"

A few gasps are heard at the mention of her mate and more whimpers.

Alpha Patrick looks up once, eyes hollow and dead as he meets the eyes of his death.

"Ma-may the A-alpha Qu-ueen live long."

Feather jumps right at his throat and digs her canines there, screams erupt and children shriek, she pushes deep through the blood vessels untill a pop is heard.

Her front paws tear at his limbs and her canines dig deeper, within a blink of an eye, she rips Alpha Patrick's head off his shoulder.

Along with her growls, loud thunder rumbles outside, sounds of heavy downpour aligning with it all.

The dark wolf shifts back, covered in blood.

Although naked, Feather stands tall while each pair of eyes avert downwards.

"Whoever wants to join my pack can come with me. I'll send for the others later."

With that she turns around and leaves the threshold of the once Blues pack house, not even glancing back once.

__________

Not so surprisingly, every Blues' members has followed her to the royal mansion of The Black Pearl.

There's nothing to worry about since it is a mansion, and Feather has enough houses built for her pack to thrive blissfully.

Returning to the pack house, Feather speed walks to his room where her mate's been treated by the doctor.

Juliene had already updated her on his well-being.

Thankfully, he was given a curable liquid and necessary fluids. He's still out and resting.

Feather wished to see him right away, but decides to wash up to not scare him away.

She takes a shower and cleans herself thoroughly, using extra scented soap and shampoo before stepping out.

To give her mate a warm feeling, she chooses a simple blue tank top and joggers, letting her dirty blonde hair fall past her shoulders. Still half wet.

She returns to her room and immediately feels a pang in her heart at the sight of her mate's bruised up body.

Anger surges through her veins, but she resists. Revenge's already taken, the most she can do now is give the boy the life he deserves.

Not wanting to scare him or invade his personal space, she gets comfortable on the couch nearby the bed. A book in hand, but eyes often glancing up at her love.

Yes, love.

It may be a strong word to describe the start of something, but for werewolves, love for mate is undeniable. Inevitable.

From pretending, Feather actually finds herself immersed in the book untill a soft whimper snaps her out of the fictional world.

She slams the book shut and rushes to the bed.

Florian has a frown on his face, brows scrunched up and face contorted in an expression of pain.

It sends a ache in the Alpha's heart.

She carefully sits on the bed by him, brushing some hair out of his eyes to take a good look at him.

For the first time.

Florian has a very pale skin tone. Mostly because of malnourishment maybe. Midnight dark curls that bounce on his forehead, a soft looking face and pouty, perfect bow shaped lips.

He's adorable and beautiful.

"I'm waiting for you, mate." Feather whispers, still continuing to stroke his hair to soothe him down.

Florian's face relaxes from the touch, and he blinks his eyes open.

With a smile, Feather awaits their eyes to meet but gets what she was least expecting.

As soon as Florian spots her hovering over him, he jumps upright on the bed and crawls further away from her.

His small body starts shaking as he splutters out rambles of apologies and for mercy.

A tight clench of her heart makes Feather feel tears gathering in her dark brown eyes.

She scoots backwards, not wanting to increase his pain.

"Hey, hey, it's okay. Calm down, it's okay. It's me. Only me. Your mate."

At the mention of mate, Florian stops rambling and looks up at her with tears railing down his face, still shaking.

His arms wrap around his frame in a defensive stance.

Something flashes across his face. A mix of fear, panic, hope, disappointment and defeat.

"I'm sorry, sorry, sorry. Don't r-reject me. P-please. I'm sorry. I'll be better. Be better. I p-promise! Sorry, p-please. I- no!"

He starts hyperventilating and gasping for air, violently shaking as ideas of his mate rejecting him envelope him.

He wouldn't survive a rejection this strong. He knows it.

His heart wrenches painfully in his chest that the Goddess played such a cruel game with his fate and made him the mate of the most ferocious Alpha there is.

He didn't ask for much. Just a normal mate, who would love and cherish him.

Now he'd have to die from rejection. His wolf wouldn't be able to handle this, he'd go rogue and eventually put down.

There'd be no love, no assurance, no comfort ever again in his life.

He'd die just like he was born, like a nobody.

Florian doesn't realize when a sweet scent of burnt wood and spices enters his nose and spirals a tidal of comfort from within.

His wolf instantly relaxes and purrs happily, his body calms down and tingles shoot through his arms to his chest, easing down all his worries.

When he finally comes to his senses and feels himself breathing steadily once again, he realizes he's sitting on the most feared Alpha's lap.

Fuck.

He tries to scramble off of her but strong arms wrap around his waist and securely hold him against a soft chest.

"Shh, calm down, love. It's me. I'm here, I'll keep you safe." She hushes near his ear, leaving a light kiss there afterwards.

The action makes the boy stop resisting, and he melts in her arms, letting his head fall down on her shoulder.

Florian never knew what feeling safe is like, till now.

He doesn't know this girl, nor does he ever met her before. He only ever heard stories about her.

Yet now that their bond is formed, he feels like he'd known her for eternity, and the feeling of safety coming from her is something Florian knows has become his new addiction.

Her soft touches, light whispers against his ear, or just the way their skin touching and sparks shooting, it's all his reasons to live now.

Florian feels himself getting addicted to this Alpha, and he's glad about it.

"You okay?" Feather asks in the softest voice ever, pulling away to look in the eyes of her mate for the first time ever.

Florian's eyes are a darker shade of grey. Almost like clouds before a storm, or just a gloomy weather. But they have this aura in them that makes Feather want to get lost in the depth of them.

On the other hand, Florian is already too lost in the dark pool of chocolates that are staring at him with utmost love and care.

The magnetic pull is so strong, it's making the tether connecting their hearts and souls buzz with life.

Florian nods, not believing his voice to produce any proper words.

Feather smiles, rubbing his arm up and down. "Good." She notices the dirt and dried blood on him.

She desperately wants to bathe him herself but isn't sure about how he'd feel.

"Would you like to wash up? Take a bath?"

Her question takes the Omega off guard, more like surprised.

"A-am I allowed?"

Buring the pain she feels, the Alpha smiles, nodding.

"Of course. Everything in this house is yours as well. You're my mate, and I'd never reject you."

Hearing her say that makes him smile. For the first time in Goddess knows how long.

And to Feather, it's the prettiest sight she has ever seen.

"I'm Feather." She says.

Florian looks up and smiles again. "I'm Florian Edgar."

"Well, Florian. It's nice to finally meet you."
