𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟎𝟒: 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Silence engulfed the lobby as the kids waited for the group to come back and hopefully answer their questions. The announcement of Dong Hyun as a civilian left them wondering what happened to the boy, but it was already obvious to Soyeon that the guy had passed.

It was almost nightfall yet the group was nowhere to be seen and Soyeon had only found out a few minutes before that the dead bodies of their friends were moved to the freezer by Yoon seo with the help of the other kids. It had been an hour or so.

The other students were quiet, patiently waiting for the group to come back. Aside from the current situation, it had also been a while since Soyeon revealed her occupation to Kyung jun's group. It had left them staring at the wall for an hour or so but luckily the girl was able to snap them back to reality.

"I knew you were not a Mafia in the first place" Kyung jun shrugged as the other two continued eating slowly, "Wait, does that mean you can heal any of us even if we were ever to be voted out?" Soyeon nodded, an anxious look rested on her face which the three noticed.

"No worries, we won't tell anyone" Jin ha nodded at Seung bin's' words as they looked at the girl, Kyung jun added "You shouldn't use heal on us yet" his words left Soyeon confused.

She looked over at Kyung jun and saw how serious he looked, It was almost terrifying, his eyes were dead.

Turning to look at Seung bin and Jin ha, they were also seriously looking and looked at Kyung jun, and the latter explained.

"The other kids will soon wonder why the worst people were healed by the doctor, which will point back to you" Kyung jun pointed at his girlfriend, who still looked lost.

"What?" Kyung jun sighed, "You're a threat to the Mafia because if you keep healing the civilians, they will see that as a bad thing, so they will get rid of you once they figure out that YOU'RE the Doctor"

"But why would they suspect me if I heal you guys?"

"Who on earth would heal Kyung jun and his friends if not you?"

As Soyeon thought back to what her boyfriend said, he made one point clear. Never heal anyone you're close with.

Soyeon had decided, that if she were to heal someone, it would need to be someone random. Not someone close to her, like Kyung jun and the other two. Some of the people Soyeon rarely interacted with are mostly the popular people. Yes, she was popular herself but she never interacted with the popular kids.

So, she guessed that maybe she should heal one of them tonight. Reluctantly, she opened her phone.

She was about to press the heal button but before she could, the group busted through the door. As they all looked like they were defeated, Soyeon noticed how Dong Hyun was absent in the group and assumed something had happened to him.

Judging by Hyun ho's bloodshot eyes, his best friend might have crossed the boundaries.

"What about the Village?" Kyung jun approached Jun hee, who had been silent the whole time, and demanded him. "How far did you go? You said you were gonna find people and ask for help! You found people right?!"

Jun hee only looked down, there were no people. "We can't go. We're completely trapped" Jun hee said.

Kyung jun sighed in frustration and threw his phone across the floor, cursing. He left the lobby, probably trying to calm himself down as Soyeon decided to give him some space and went to comfort Yoon seo.

On their way back to their room, they ran into Jin Da bum. The boy was wearing his famous headphones.

Soyeon, as a music addict herself, was curious about Da bum's taste in music. And maybe if they did have the same taste, they could probably recommend each other songs.

"Where are you going?" Yoon seo questioned as Da bum turned to look at them, mostly at Soyeon. "Kyung jun and the others called me"

"Well, if you don't want to go, then don't" Yoon seo said as Soyeon nodded at the girl's words

"Maybe you want me to tell Kyung jun and the others that you have something else to do?" Soyeon said as she looked at Da bum worriedly. The latter just shook his head but smiled at Soyeon's worry. It felt nice to know someone cared.

"No need, I'll just go" Jin Da bum walked passed the girls, after sending one last glance at Soyeon.

"I need to hurry, I need to find something. I'm gonna go ahead" After Yoon seo and Jung won nodded, Soyeon sprinted toward her room and opened the door.

She was going to heal someone. She knew better than to trust Yoon seo and Jung won. Yes, they were close, but she just couldn't bring herself to trust them. Something in her mind told her, that one of them was not a civilian.

She opened her phone and entered her passcode before going to the Mafia app. Selecting their profile and pressing on the little button, which was probably the heal button.

After doing so, she went to the bathroom. She entered a cubicle and began her business and after she washed her hands and stared at herself at the mirror.

She left the women's bathroom and glanced in the corner of her eyes, at the men's bathroom. She was tempted to check for Ju won but remembered that Yoon seo and the others had already moved the dead kids' bodies into the freezer. She thought of Ju won as a sweet kid and she wanted nothing but to stop Kyung jun in bullying them but it was no use.

She decided to go to where she left Yoon seo and Jung won but was interrupted by Woo ram

"OH Soyeon, I was looking for you, where's Jun hee and the others? We're going to discuss who to vote for" After looking for Jun hee, Soyeon and Woo ram finally found him and the others.

"Jun hee, we've been looking for you everywhere. Let's go, everyone's about to vote" Jun hee looked bewildered.

"Are they really going to vote after what happened with Yool?" Jun hee said but before they can utter a word, Soyeon looked around and realized something.

"Where's Jin Da bum? "
