"I'd really like you there." Orion said, giving me puppy dog eyes. I crossed my arms over my chest and rolled my eyes. "I've told you, that is not a crowd I enjoyed." He chuckled softly. "I'm not asking you to enjoy them. I'm asking you to endure them. So I can have you by my side." I gave him a look of finality and he groaned. "Whatever." He grumbled, clearly not happy about it. "You've been going without me for years, I'm sure you'll be fine." I teased. He just huffed like a little kid. I sighed, walking to the other side of the kitchen island he stood at.

"That will never be me. The club and its business is none of mine. I can already tell they don't like people not in their little circle and I have no intentions of ever being so it's best if i stay away from all of that. Especially since you have your fair share of groupies." He sighed, wrapping his arms around me as he pulled me into his chest. "I'm the boss. They're okay with whatever I tell them to be. And I'm not interested in any of them." He mumbled, trailing kisses down my jawline and neck. "I respect what you're saying, and I don't expect you to be apart of it, but I like being able to know you're safe and near just in case." He said softly, nuzzling his nose in the crook of my neck and my heart clenched. "Please." He whined and when I didn't respond he did it again, this time drawing out the syllables annoyingly. I sighed. "Once." His eyes lit up and he grinned, kissing me. "Go get dressed angel." I rolled my eyes at him as I walked into my room.

I walked back out to Orion, slipping my phone in my pocket. "Thank you, my love." He pulled me into his chest, kissing my head. I pursed my lips at him as I put on my boots. I simply put on black jeans and a black hoodie. My hair fell messily down my back and I kept my glasses on, not caring to impress anyone with makeup. I grabbed my keys but he tisked at me. I raised my eyebrows at him. "Please baby." I chuckled at him. "Oh you're extra sweet when you want things huh?" He grinned, nodding. "Fine."

"Do you have a hair tie?" He asked. I nodded, pulling one off my wrist. He grabbed it, pulling my hair back and tied my hair in a low bun. He slipped the helmet on my head, and pulled up the visor. "Has Spencer ever taken you riding?" He asked. "A few times years ago." He nodded and leaned down to place a quick kiss on my lips. He flipped it back down before getting on the bike. He started it up and held his hand out for me to grab. I took it and swung my leg over the bike, getting as close to him as possible. I wrapped my arms around his torso, holding onto him tightly. Bikes always gave me anxiety.

One of Orions hands slid up my thigh, gently rubbing and it did a lot to calm my nerves. I think he could tell so he drove like that the majority of the way to his house. I wont lie, as much anxiety as I've had in the past on a bike, Orions presence made me feel safe.

~~

I got off the bike first, taking a moment with the helmet still on to look over the people currently outside. I couldn't help but snicker to myself when I saw the look on the two girls faces that gawked over him at the party a few weeks ago. When the sound of the bike cut off, I turned to him. He smiled at me a gorgeous smile and reached up, pulling the helmet off my head. He sat it on the seat next to him and stood up, pulling the hair tie out of my hair and stretched it around his wrist. He pulled my glasses out of his pocket and slid them on my face and I could feel my cheeks heating, knowing everyone was watching him.

He smirked, leaning down to kiss my forehead. "You're extra cute when you're embarrassed, my love." He teased to which I rolled my eyes. "Come, angel. We've got business to discuss." He took my hand and we walked past everyone inside. I saw Spence and Maya sitting at the kitchen island inside, Orion let go of my hand and I walked over to them, hugging them both. "Well, well, well. Isn't this a fun treat. What'd he do to get you here?" Spence asked as Maya just looked shocked. I chuckled and grabbed a glass and drink from the counter. "He begged like a good little boy." I smirked and Spence almost chocked on his drink. Maya bust out laughing as I stood smugly behind the counter. Orions eyes met mine and he looked at me with raised eyebrows and I winked at him.

"Alright. Let's get started." His voice was deep and curt, and his posture was stiff and guarded, very different from his usual self. His eyes glanced over everyone. "This is pertaining to club business, you know if you're not welcome. Don't make me have to ask you to leave." His voice was cold and multiple women stood up off men's laps. Orions eyes held mine for a second, mentally telling me to stay and I gave him a small nod. "That's fucking bullshit. That bitch shouldn't be in there." One of the chicks who got up mumbled, and might I add not very quietly. Orions eyes shot to the group of them. "Speak up, Mackenzie. I fucking dare you." She stopped dead in her tracks at the tone of his voice and slowly turned to him, her face pale. "I-I just don't think it's very appropriate that an outsider stay for a club meeting is all." She whispered, her eyes meeting the ground. I held in my snort at her fake little submissive act.

"Any objections to Lilith being in this room?" Orions voice boomed. Not a single person glanced at me and not a single person dared to say anything. Orion was clearly not to be messed with. "Who I allow to stay in this room is none of your fucking business. She earned a place here when she saved my life and took care of Carter. More than you've ever done in the 3 years you've been passed around here." He spit at her harshly. Her cheeks burned and she just nodded. "Go." He growled and she scurried outside with the rest of the women. I rolled my eyes at his dramatics.

"Now that that's dealt with let's actually talk about something that fucking matters." A few chuckles came from men and I leaned against the counter, rather bored. I didn't care to be here nor did I care to hear about any of this. "As everyone knows the attack on Carter and I was in fact staged by Ryder in an attempt to become leader. He's since been delt with. Word is the Sampson brothers aren't too happy we found their inside man and are looking to retaliate. We've tried to make peace for the sake of convenience with shipping and look how that turned out. No more bullshitting with them. We've already infiltrated their warehouse and set up cameras so we know the best time to hit them. Draco teams going out tomorrow night to do the job. I'm done dicking around with those fucking amateurs, they've caused one too many problems. Kill on sight, their men too, we don't need them alive for anything. They're all worthless disloyal trash." There were multiple hums and nods and I just listened.

"In other news, Piston Hills boss has purchased 5 crates of weapons from us in the last 24hours. They're allies but I have a feeling I'm not getting the whole story. I want Toby, Gage and Bullet to go check it out for a couple days and report back." The three men nodded and Orion nodded back. "We've got your back boss, those Sampson bitches are going to beg like fucking babies for what they did to y'all." One man said and Orion chuckled. "Have all the fun you want, Big B." The large man smiled like a psychopath and pretty much everyone laughed. "You know I will, Ry." "That's all for now. As always, you're welcome to all the booze you can hold." Orion dismissed them and everyone kinda dispersed.

"So are you guys like together?" Maya asked, turning towards me. I sighed, looking up at her. I didn't want to go that far. Orion talks a big game but I know better than to blindly trust." Spencer could tell I was hesitant about everything and offered me a soft smile. "He's a good guy, Lil. Of course he has his downfalls but we all do." I nodded, clearing my throat. "I know. He uh...he knows about my parents and stuff." Spencer raised his eyebrows and Maya looked absolutely flabbergasted. "You told him?" She asked, sounding kind of confused. I nodded, fiddling with my fingers. "It just kind of happened. I don't know why...it just felt like it was safe to talk about it with him." I shrugged it off. Spencer gave me a small smile. "That's big, Lil. You've never talked about it with anyone. Even us really." Maya said. I nodded. "He better not give me a reason to regret it." I mumbled to which Spencer laughed lightly.

Orion stalked over to us and slipped an arm around my waist, pulling me into his side. "Mackenzie will be dealt with." He said simply. I laughed. "She's harmless, let her have her little tantrum." "She knows better." I rolled my eyes. "I told you that would happen." He narrowed his eyes at me but sighed, squeezing my waist. He looked up at Spencer and a small almost unnoticeable smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "We've got something important to do tomorrow." Spencer straightened up a little, waiting for his orders from his boss. "Something to do with the Sampson brothers?" Orion chuckled, waving his hand dismissively. "No. We will be visiting Warren and Reign. It's come to my attention they are owed an extra stipend and I'd like if we delivered it in person." Spencer looked to me, a heart warming smile spreading across his face. "I couldn't agree more, boss. I'd be honored." Orion reached into his inside jacket pocket and pulled out a decent sized envelope. "Consider this apart of your raise. Very well earned." He said sliding it to him. Spence looked in the envelope and of course I knew how much was in it. And I think Spencer deserved every penny.

"It's appreciated Ry, but not necessary. I don't need a reward for something I'd do over a million times. After all, we'd do anything for family. " Orion nodded. "Loyalty and integrity go a long way in this house, and not just loyalty to me and these men. That isn't just earned, it's deserved. Carter and I have agreed to make you VP if you're interested." Orion took a sip of my drink and grinned down at me. Spencer looked from Orion to me and I gave him a big smile. Maya also smiled at Spencer. "Yeah, brother." Spencer said with a smile and Orion chuckled, letting go of me to give Spencer a hug. "I'd like to join tomorrow if that's okay." I said once they separated. Orion joined my side again. "Whatever you want, my love." He said kissing my head. I smiled at him. "Thank you, Ry." I said softly to him.

~~

We all talked for a while and Orion mingled for a bit before I was practically crawling out of my skin, ready to leave. I hated the noise, I hated the people, I hated the eyes on me. The only good thing to come from me comin was Spence getting his promotion and raise. As I stood by the island I glared daggers at the back of Orions head. He must have sensed it because he turned and locked eyes with me. I saw him let out a laugh before he excused himself.

He made his way to me and wordlessly wrapped an arm around my shoulder. He headed in the direction of the door and I smiled, grateful. Once we were outside I let out a breath. "Never again." I groaned and he chuckled softly as we stopped at his bike. "I enjoyed having you close though." He grinned down at me. I smiled, my cheeks tinting pink. "Why do you always stay at my house? I mean look at yours." He chuckled, brushing the pad of his thumb against my cheek. "Well, for starters, it's not worth the effort to get them to leave in a timely manner. But your house is you. It's the place you spend most of your time and where you're most comfortable. I enjoy being there."

He leaned down and placed a soft kiss on my lips before he grabbed my hair tie from earlier off his wrist and tied my hair up for me again. I looked up at him, fascinated. "You're nothing like Spencer's described." I said gently. He grinned down at me. "There's nothing you could do or say that would make that side come out of me directed towards you, my love. I am no saint, and I never will be. I'm sure I'm exactly as he described, maybe worse. You are my one and only soft spot." I hummed, starring into those enchanting forest green eyes. "Soft spots aren't always a good thing." I said softly. He rolled his eyes at me playfully. "Maybe. But don't be so cynical." I cracked a small smile at him and he grinned. He lifted me off the ground by my thighs and sat me on the seat of the bike as he stood between my legs.

"Don't overthink things." He whispered against my lips before kissing me slowly. I slipped my fingers into the belt loops on his jeans and tugged him as close to me as possible. His warm hands cupped my cheeks, stroking them gently. I relaxed into him as our lips moved in sync. A flash went off that caused us to pull away immediately. Maya stood with a grin on her face and her phone in her hand. "Sorry, I didn't realize the flash was on." She took another as I burst out laughing, leaning my head against Orions stomach.

"Gimme." Orion told her and she gave him the phone immediately. He grinned down at me. "We look like a cover of one of your little romance books." He smirked at me as I assume he sent the photo to himself. "Oh my god." I groaned. Maya laughed at us. "I had come out to catch you before you left." Maya said. I looked over to her and nodded. "Spence and I wanted to know if you wanted to do dinner tomorrow night after going to see Warren and Reign." I smiled at her, nodding. "I'd love to. Anything in particular?" She shrugged. "You know we're not picky. Anything you make is delicious." She gave me a side hug before walking back inside. "Alright angel, shall we go home?" He asked and I stood up off the bike, giving him a side eye. "Home? Moving yourself in huh?" He chuckled darkly. "I thought we've already established you're not getting rid of me." I hummed in response as he grabbed the helmet and put it on my head.

He pushed the visor up, kissing me softly. I looked up at him, admiring just how cute he is when he smiles. "Keep looking at me like that and I will bend you over this bike and fuck you in the drive way, my love." He grumbled, kissing me again. I gave him a teasing smile and he raised his eyebrows at me. I raised my hands in defense. He laughed softly. He got on the bike and held his hand out for me just like earlier. He started the bike and leaned back into me a little, running his hands up and down my thighs. "Ready angel?" I nodded and he flipped the visor back down. I held onto him tightly and he pulled out of the drive way.
