A weeks passed really uneventful, just how I like it. I got a call into work at our sister bar for a big party that was happening. I agreed to come in despite me feeling like absolute shit. They told me not to bother looking for a spot out front since the parking lot was jam packed so I took the back road and parked in the employee lot. I blew my nose once more before pulling my hair up into a ponytail. I'm just thankful my headache was finally gone. I grabbed my keys, getting out of the car and going through the back door. I put my keys in a cubby before walking through the kitchen. I smiled when I saw James. He's like the father of the bar. He's owned it and worked in it for nearly 40 years. And he's an amazing person. "Is that my Lily?" He grinned, wiping his hands off on his apron and turning around to give me a hug. "Sweetie, how are you? I haven't seen you in months." He looked me over, making sure I was okay and I laughed lightly. "Im doing alright, James. No need to worry." He sighed, seemingly pleased enough with that answer. "Well alright then. You better get out there, they could use the help." I nodded, making my way through the kitchen and out the door to the bar.

"You don't look your usual self tonight." I laughed at Stephanies comment. "That was a nice way to put it." She shrugged. "You don't look bad or anything." I gave her a small smile. I didn't really feel bothered to get all cute for work. My glasses, black bike shorts, a black sports bra and a black zip up hoodie is what I was sporting for the evening. "What do you need from me?" "We just got all the orders in so if you wanna start running drinks out that'd be very helpful." I nodded, grabbing a tray. I sat it down, putting some drinks on it before walking towards the large party. "Alright I've got 3 whiskey sours" I paused and passed them out. "Two blue moons and two PBR" I handed them out before going back to the bar. "You look like hell." Another girl at the bar commented, I think her name is Ally. I laughed. "You guys are so nice tonight." She laughed. "Wanna trade? Those men out there are yummy and you look like you want nothing to do with people tonight." I smiled and nodded, grateful. I went around the bar and stared making drinks as she grabbed the tray, walking back over to the rowdy crowd of men and women.

About an hour into my shift things had settled down, people coming up here and there to get another drink but nowhere near as busy as getting out the original 60 orders and rounds of shots. I was wiping down some things when someone came up to the bar. "Can I get a scotch neat?" I nodded. "Do you have a preference?" I asked and he looked behind me, scanning the wall. "Dewar's will do." He said and I nodded, turning to grab if off the shelf. I grabbed a glass, turning back. My eyes stopped on the person- or rather couple that just walked in. His arm was wrapped around her waist and she smiled up at him lovingly. I tore my eyes away quickly, feeling my heart stop momentarily in my chest. I sat the glass on the mat in front of him. "Everything alright?" He asked and I nodded, looking up at him. "Yes, sorry. I just thought I recognized someone." He looked over to the new arrivals while I poured the glass.

He chuckled, turning back to me. "Orion Wakely. Curious to know how a girl like you would know him." He reached for the glass and I laughed. "Girl like me?" He smirked. "Innocent. Normal. Usually you need at least a months stay in the psych ward to qualify." I couldn't help but laugh and grin and I put the bottle back on the shelf. "I wont argue with you there." He smiled, leaning more into the bar. "So?" He asked, waiting. "So what?" "So how do you know him?" I took a moment to study the man in front of me. He's tall, dirty blonde hair, covered in tattoos, chocolate brown eyes, older than me but probably early 40's and a warm smile with a sense of familiarity. "Mutual friend." I said simply and he laughed, nodding. "Alright, that was vague. What's this friends name?" I cocked my head to the side but decided to answer. "Spencer." "Spencer Adams?" He asked and I hesitantly nodded. "Good man." He said simply. I looked at him expectingly and he raised his eyebrows.

"What?" He asked. "You get to give vague answers but you want something more from me?" He teased playfully. I hummed. "What's the party for?" I asked, changing the topic. "Let's just call it a family get together." He winked. I laughed, nodding. "Understood." I looked back up and saw her hanging all over him, her hands resting on his lower abdomen. "I'm sensing more to that story." I looked back to him. "I'm Carter, by the way." He held his hand out and I grabbed it, shaking it. "Lilith." I said back. He nodded. "There's nothing to that story, trust me. We had one kiss and we moved on with our lives. I am not his type anyway." I said, unbothered. I wasn't sure why I was sharing this with a stranger but he felt comfortable to talk to. He hummed, nodding. "And the plot thickens." I laughed, rolling my eyes. "You've gotta excuse Ry's behavior, he doesn't know a good thing when he sees it." I raised my eyebrows. "Was that... are you flirting with me?" I asked, surprised. He chuckled. "Maybe. You don't strike me as the type to really fall for things like that though." "If flirting worked on me I wouldn't have been single for 24 years." He looked shocked. "No shit? You're serious?" I nodded. "Damn, and he fumbled that? We'll have to have a talk later." I laughed and couldn't help but glance up again. This time Orion was starring at me. His jaw was clenched and he wasn't paying attention to the woman who was actively speaking to him.

"Seems like there's even more to that story." He said, narrating like he was watching a drama unfold. I looked back to him and he was starring at me with interest. "What?" I asked. "He does not seem too happy and what I'm trying to figure out is if its with me or you." "You're weird." He laughed, pushing his glass back towards me. I huffed and turned around, grabbing the bottle again. "Don't look now, but he's coming over here and he looks determined." Carted said and I turned around, pouring him another glass. "You don't look good, love." His deep voice said and carter looked at me with raised eyebrows. I sighed, looking towards Orion. "Gee, thanks." I rolled my eyes. "Curiouser and curiouser." He mumbled and Orion turned his attention to Carter. "Everyone's here to celebrate your return, brother and here you are chatting up the bartender." Orion said with a hard tone, one that could make blood run cold. Carter looked from him to me. "Theres definitely more to the story." He said to me before turning back to Orion. "It good to see you too, Ry." Carter smiled at him.

"Why don't you go back over there and socialize with everyone." Orion suggested in a clipped tone. Carter chuckled. "I've already socialized, you were the one who was late. I think I'm aright here for now, what do you think Lilith?" He turned his attention to me. I practically snorted. "Y'all keep me out of your pissing match. I'm just doing my job." Carter seemed amused by that and Orion seemed upset. Orion went to speak again but the girl he arrived with came up to the bar. "Ry you said you were coming back with my drink." She pouted at him and his eyes looked from her to me. I smiled a her. "Whatcha drinking?" "Ill just get a vodka cranberry." I nodded, turning to make her drink.

"Here you are." I sat her drink on the bar and she gave me a smile. "Come on Ry, you're missing the party." She looped her finger around his belt loop and tugged. "Hold on, my brother and I were just talking." She rolled her eyes and groaned but walked away. He turned his attention to me. "Why are you working if you're sick?" "Who said I'm sick?" He rolled his eyes and looked at me expectingly. "Do you think bills stop getting paid because I don't feel good?" I asked him like he was stupid. "How much do you plan on making tonight?" I rolled my eyes. I knew where he was going with this. "Why don't you just not worry about it and go back to the girl who's looking at you like a love-sick puppy." He broke eye contact with me to look at Carter who looked extremely entertained by this. Orion looked frustrated but was trying to keep his cool. Before he could respond his name was called by another man. "We're not done here." Orion said pointedly at me before walking away.

"Oh come on, you're telling me he's acting like that and you've only kissed." Carter said. "You're very nosy, you know that?" He shrugged. "When it comes to Ry, yes." I raised my eyebrows, laughing. "We kissed twice. That's it. He's just psychotic." He hummed, taking a sip of his drink. "Psychotic? Probably. But not when it comes to women. If anything I'd say he's emotionally detached in most situations. But he cares about you." I rolled my eyes. "He cares about fucking me because I told him I didn't want to sleep with him, not about me." He shrugged. "If you say so." He dropped the topic after that.

Carter was easy to talk to, it reminded me of when Spencer and I first met. I liked him. He's funny, sarcastic and comfortable. And he made me put my number in his phone before he slipped away after two hours of sitting at the bar. Meanwhile Orion just stood there and glared half the night. As soon as Carter left the bar he took that opportunity to come up there. I was doing some closing cleaning and restocking when he sat at the chair in front of me.

"You seem to be getting along with my brother." He said simply and I sighed, looking up at him. "What do you want, Orion?" "You shouldn't be working tonight if you don't feel good, my love." He said softly. "I'm leaving soon." I replied simply. He nodded. "Good. Do you need anything?" I looked at him curiously but shook my head. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet and I rolled my eyes. "I don't want your money, Orion." He pulled out some cash and pushed it towards me. "I didn't ask if you want it. But I'm telling you to take it. Go home, take medicine, eat and stay hydrated." "I'm an adult, I know how to take care of myself." "Then go home and do it. If a few hundred dollars is the only thing keeping you here you can leave now." I huffed. "It's a job, meaning you have to do it sometimes even when you don't want to." He shook his head. "Trust me love, I know that more than anyone." I looked at him with raised eyebrows and he leaned more into the counter, starring at me. "You still look beautiful though. You've been on my mind all week." I laughed, probably louder than I should have. He hummed, resting his chin on his hand. "Don't believe me?" I shook my head, a smile still on my face. "That was actually quite funny though. I'll give it to you, you're certainly committed. Even when you show up with a different girl. I'm sure she's not too happy you're ignoring her."

He sat back in the chair, observing me for a moment. "Liz and I aren't together." He said. "Oh I'm sure you're not." I knew the type of guy he was. "We're not fucking either. There nothing between us." He rolled his eyes at me. "Have you told her that?" "My intentions are always clear, I told you, I'm a man of my word. If she chooses to hang around after I've told her it's not going anywhere that's on her." I hummed. "Some people just can't take a hint, can they?" He chuckled, licking his lip. "You say you're not into me but you certainly haven't complained when I've touched you or kissed you. And you seemed to be pretty into me when you were moaning my name." I bit my lip, narrowing my eyes at him. "So I'm human. Everyone has lapses in judgement." "I didn't get to stick around the other morning to tell you the best part though." He smirked, his eyes lighting up as he recalled the memory. "You left your door cracked open. I couldn't just not take a peak. Who am I to resist that opportunity. So I took my cock out and jerked off as I watched you moan and grind against your little toy. The face you make when you cum will forever be burned in my brain and it's even better that it was to the thought of me." My eyes widened at his confession. "Spencer and Maya were in the house!" He laughed. "You should have thought of that before you decided to tempt my self restraint even more." I was a loss for words. What the fuck am I supposed to say to that?

I turned around, going back to wiping down the bar. "Oh come on, love. Don't act all shy and innocent now." I took a deep breath, soothing my racing heartbeat. I truthfully wished I wasn't a bottle of wine deep when that happened. Getting a front row view of him stroking his cock to me I'm sure would be quite a sight. "Do you think this is normal behavior?" I asked, facing him again. He smirked. "Normal? No, I'd say not. But I can't help myself." He shrugged, standing up from the chair. "Go home please. Maybe I'll see you sometime this week." He said smugly, turning to walk away. I grabbed the cash off the bar, stuffing it in my pocket. "Yeah, maybe you can come over with Carter tomorrow." I said, walking from the bar towards the back door. "Excuse me?" I heard his deep voice, the octave had lowered and had the same icy undertone as when he spoke to Carter earlier. But I kept walking.

I made it as far as the back room where I went to grab my keys before I felt a hand on my waist. He spun me around, pushing me against the lockers. His face was close to mine and he was pissed as he starred down at me. "What?" I asked innocently. "I think I misheard you a moment ago, my love." He said menacing. A smile crept on to my face. "I think you heard me just fine." I said attempting to move but he slammed his hands onto the lockers behind me, trapping me between them. His eyes moved from mine down my chest. He grabbed the zipper of my hoodie and pulled it down. His eyes roamed my chest, the sports bra I had on pushing my tits up more than usual. "Maybe I haven't made it clear enough to you that you are only mine. But that's my fault, I'll just have to show you."

Before I could respond his lips were on mine. I couldn't help reacting to him so my lips immediately fell into a rhythm with his. His large hand roughly grabbed the front of my sports bra, pulling it down so my tits fell out on top of it. In shock I pulled away from him. "There's people here." I attempted to fix it but he chuckled darkly, swatting my hand away. "So?" His hand traveled down my hip and into the front of my leggings. I gasped, gripping his arm. "What are you-" my body froze as his fingers grazed over my clit. My breathing became labored and my heart felt like it exploded in my chest. He let out a heavenly moan as his fingers slid between my folds. "You're so fucking wet, love. Was it thinking about me stroking my cock to you?" He said huskily as his lips grazed my neck. I let out a whimper as he slid two fingers in me.

The feeling was....different. Like I said I've only even played with myself so I've had my own fingers in me and toys but that's apparently not at all the same as someone else touching you. It felt good, better than when I did it but it was new. My cheeks burned and I subconsciously moved my legs further apart for him. "You shouldn't have kissed me, I'm sick." I said breathily, arching my back into him. He chuckled, bringing his eyes level with mine. "Do you really think I give a fuck baby?" His fingers swirled inside me and I let out as quite of a moan as I could muster. "You look so fucking beautiful right now." He mumbled before ducking his head down. His lips made contact with my right breast and I groaned. "Oh fuck." My eyes shot towards the entrance of the room, making sure no one was there. I could already feel pressure building in my stomach as his tongue swirled around my nipple, his teeth grazing the skin lightly, making goosebumps raise on my skin. My grip on his arm tightened and my other hand reached down to grab ahold of his hair.

Soft moans escaped my lips as I could feel myself coming undone completely. Orion trailed kisses from nipple up my chest and neck until he was fully standing again. "I could cum just fucking watching you, angel." He said, making eye contact with me again. My hand that was threaded in his hair gripped his shoulder as I bit my lip, trying to stay quiet. "That's it baby, Cum for me, cum all over my fingers." He said softly, his lips covering mine again. I moaned into his mouth as my grip tightened on him and I did just that, I came as his fingers still pumped in and out of me. It was completely different from my usual orgasms. When my legs started to shake he finally slowed his movements, retracting his hand. His lips pulled away from mine and he smirked before sticking his fingers in his mouth. Oh my god. He moaned, his eyes closing. "I've been dying to taste you." I stood in awe, my chest rising and falling rapidly as I came down from my orgasm.

"I cannot believe you just did that." I said breathlessly, looking up at him. He smiled, his hands trailing up my hips. He fixed my sports bra before bringing his lips back to mine in a much softer, slower kiss. "You should get home now, love. Don't forget to hydrate and eat dinner for me, okay?" He said gently and the only thing I could do was nod, still in shock. He looked reluctant to step back but did anyways. He watched me as I grabbed my keys and walked out the back door to my car. "I look forward to tomorrow." He said with a smirk as I climbed into my car. He stayed at the back door until I had left the parking lot before walking back inside.

What the actual fuck just happened?
