I stood in my kitchen, just starring at the counter. I cannot believe he just did that but more importantly I cannot believe I let him. A knock at the door interrupted my thoughts and I walked over to it. I looked through the peephole, seeing someone driving away. I opened the door and there was a white takeout bag. I picked it up, bringing it inside, locking the door behind me.

I opened the bag and found a pint of what looked to be chicken noodle soup and a note.

A little home made chicken noodle soup should help you feel a little better, love. Trust me, it's a miracle worker. ~Ry

I looked at the note as my eyebrows furrowed. What is happening? In the last 9 days he's wormed his way into so many different parts of my life and I'm a very private person usually. I just don't know how to feel about him. I couldn't help but feel a little cared for. Sending me soup because I don't feel good was a very thoughtful and unexpected gesture from him but it made me smile nonetheless. I put some in a pot and heated it on the stove. I tried a spoonful and it was possibly the best chicken noodle soup i'd ever had. And by the time I was going to bed I already felt a little better.

I woke up to my phone ringing and I groaned, turning over to look at it. I saw Spencers name and immediately sat up. It's 3:30 something had to be wrong. "Hello?" I answered. Spencer sighed in relief. "I'm sorry to wake you but I need a favor, Lil." I let out a breath. "What?" "Most of the guys went on a ride tonight across state lines so we are hours away. I need you to, and I wouldn't be asking if it wasn't important, bail out Ry and Cater from jail." He said quickly and my eyes widened in shock. "Jail? For what?" "I dont know, some bullshit sibling rivalry racing or something, they wouldn't shut the fuck up screaming at each other for me to ask questions. I'll send you the money and everything but the jackass' were supposed to be handeling some club business in a like an hour otherwise id let them rot in there for the night." I sighed, getting out of bed. "You're lucky I love you." I grumbled and he chuckled. "Thank you, Lil. Love you always." "Yeah, yeah." I hung up the phone before throwing on black sweats and a random tight black tanktop. I really could not be bothered with this shit.

I walked into the precinct and up to the desk where a man was sitting. "May I help you ma'am?" He asked. "I'm here to bail out Wakely." I said and he raised his eyebrows. "Which one?" He asked after glancing at the computer. "Both." I was not in the mood. He seemed reluctant but nodded. He looked at the computer then back to me. "Bails going to be thirty thousand for the two." I took out my debit card, sliding it over to him. He looked slightly baffled but took it.

I watched as the two grown ass men got released, both of them shocked when they saw me standing there. "This was his solution?" Carter said in disbelief. "Spencer should NOT have woken you up." I nodded, agreeing. "Yeah, he shouldn't have but he did. A thank you would be appreciated." Both in unison said thank you. The guy at the desk tilted his head at the interaction. "Where do we go to get our bikes back?" Carter asked the guy and he laughed. "Impounds closed for the night, can't get it out till morning, they open at 7 sharp." Carter groaned and they followed me out. "Great, are we supposed to show up in a fucking Uber?" Carter said angrily at his brother. Orion rolled his eyes, walking along side me to my car. I got in and they followed suit.

"Anyone care to explain?" I asked calmly, starting the car. "A little friendly sibling rivalry that got a bit out off hand is all." Carter said. I rolled my eyes and looked next to me at Orion, whom was already starring at me. He shrugged. "Well, one race led to another, which led to us unknowingly passing a couple street cops, which of course led to us outrunning the cops. Which then led us to a victory drive which led us to getting arrested by a completely different cop." I couldn't help but laugh. "We've got like 30 minutes." Carter said. I hummed. "Spencer mentioned something about 'club business', I assume its important?" "Yeah its-" "I dont want to know. I stay out of it." I said, cutting off Carter. They both nodded. "You can take my car, you did buy it after all." I said, yawning. Orion chuckled, reaching over to squeeze my thigh. "You what?" Carter asked, in disbelief. "Fuck off Carter." Orion grumbled, to which I laughed. "I wont have time to drop you off at home, love. My house is on the way, is that okay?" He asked. I was in no mood to argue since I was tired. I simply nodded and left the parking lot.

The car ride to Orions house was pretty much silent and tension filled. Orions hand wouldn't leave my thigh, despite my multiple attempts to push his hand away. His grip only tightened each time. I pulled into his driveway and got out. I followed Orion up the stairs where he unlocked the door for me. I made my way to the couch but he stopped me, grabbing my hand. "Thank you." He said softly. I just nodded. "Do you feel any better, my love?" He asked and I nodded. "Thank you for the soup." A grin spread across his face. "I told you, its a miracle worker." He paused, reaching up to brush some hair behind my ear. "Go upstairs and get some sleep. I'll come back and get you when we're done, okay?" I nodded and he let go of me, turning to go to the door. My next words slipped out of my mouth before I could even process my own thoughts, like it was an instinct. "Be careful." He stopped dead in his tracks and turned to face me. I wanted to punch myself in the face. He looked at me with so many emotions before walking back to me with purpose. His hands grabbed my hips, pulling me into him roughly and his lips fell onto mine in a quick but deep kiss. He pulled back and looked down at me. "Always, angel. I'll be home in a couple hours, that's a promise." He said before leaving the house and locking the door.

I stared at the door he just left out of, kicking myself. Oh god. Was I...was I worried about him? Of course I worried about Spencer if I knew he was 'handling some business' but this felt... different. I sighed to myself as I made my way up the stairs. I walked into the open bedroom door and smiled a little. It's definitely his room. I couldn't help myself as I started snooping a little. What can I say... I'm curious.

I slept much better than expected in his bed. I woke up hours later. I strolled downstairs and looked through his fridge. It was stocked full. I settled for something simple- eggs. I started making them, adding in spinach, a little cheese and mushrooms. When I was done and had turned off the stove I glanced up at the clock. It's after 8, they've been gone nearly 4 hours. That didn't sit right with me, and there was a pit in my stomach. I tried to brush it off, eating a couple bites of my omelette. My phone rang and seeing it was Spence I picked up immediately. "Hey." I said. "Lilith, are you with Carter and Orion?" I dropped the fork on the plate. "No, they took my car after I picked them up, they haven't come back yet." "Shit." I heard Spence say loudly, letting out a frustrated sound. "They're not answering anyone. If things went bad lily- fuck." My heartbeat picked up at the thought. I heard muffled voices in the background before a chorus of motorcycle engines. "We're halfway back. Where are you?" He asked. "I'm at Orions house." "Good. Stay there. It's a safe place just in case." I swallowed a lump in my throat. "Just in case what?" He took a breath. "Just stay there. Everything will be okay. Call if you hear from them." He took a pause. "I love you, Lil." He said before the call dropped.

What did they go to do? What could have went bad? Why did I need to be in a safe place? My mind flooded with so many thoughts. I just started to semi think Orion was okay, something couldn't have happened to him, that would just be horrible irony. And Carter, he felt like a best friend I had known forever after spending hours talking and bullshitting at the bar. Spencer sounded extra worried, his voice having a cold steepness to it I've never heard from him before, which instilled even more doubt in me.

~~

I paced all around the house for what felt like forever until I heard the front door open. The anxiety I had peaked as I ran down the stairs. "Oh my god." I gasped, looking at the two men who stood in the foyer. My heart skipped a beat seeing Carter practically carrying Orion to the couch despite him looking no better. I didn't even ask questions, I just ran over to Orion who looked unconscious. "He wasn't supposed to be there." Carter mumbled. I glanced up at him before reaching into my pocket, calling Maya on speaker phone as I reached down, attempting to take Orions jacket off so I could actually see where all the blood was from. "Lily." She answered. "I need your help, now." I said urgently, panicking a little bit. "They're back aren't they?" She asked, and I could hear rustling and keys before a car start. "There's so much blood." I mumbled to myself. "Lil, have you called Spencer?" She asked, calm but with urgency. "No. No, you're the closest and I know you're better equipped to deal with this than I am. Oh god." My hands shook slightly. "Take a deep breath, Lil. I'm just a few minutes away. The boys are less than an hour away. I'm going to hang up so I can call the doctor and Spencer, is that okay?" I shook my head, no words coming out. "She'll be okay." Carter answered for me and I snapped my head up to him. Maya didn't have to be told twice, hanging up the phone. "I'll be fine, he got the worst of it." Carter finally said

Once I was finished struggling with Orions jacket I ran to the kitchen and grabbed scissors. I cut Orions shirt down the center, pushing it back. "Oh my god." I said again, horrified. I got up again, running to the bathroom to grab a towel. I rushed back, immediately pushing it against the gaping wound in his abdomen. Orions eyes shot open and immediately settled on me. "Lilith." He breathed out, his eyes closing again, his face twisting in pain. "Carter, where is all that blood from?" I asked him after I was finally relieved Orion was no longer passed out. "A lot of it is his." I looked up, narrowing my eyes at him. I scanned his appearance, noticing his pants leg was covered in blood. "Take your pants off." I immediately say without thinking. He could tell now was not the time for whatever stupid joke was in his head and did as told. "Fuck." We said at the same time, seeing his open wound down the side of his thigh. "Ry, I need you to hold this for a second." I said softly to him. His eyes opened to look at me and he nodded.

I got up to run for another towel and came back to Carter. I pushed the towel down with pressure against his thigh and he groaned loudly. "Put pressure on it." I said to him and he listened, holding the towel as I kneeled next to Orion again. I moved his hand, moving the towel a little to get a better look at the wound. Now that there wasn't to much blood I could see it a little better. "It's just a flesh wound, love. I'll be okay." Orion said and I pushed the towel back to it causing him to wince. I glared at him. "You should see the other guys." He let out a strained chuckle and so did Carter. "Unfuckingbelievable." I muttered.

The door opened and Maya came running in, a duffel bag with her. "Who's worse?" She asked and I nodded towards Orion. She came over and I moved out of the way. She moved the towel too and whistled. "Jesus fuck. Y'all really got in deep shit tonight didn't you." She said, opening the bag. I watched as she packed Orions wound with gauze before putting a large bandage over it to keep it covered before she moved to Carter. She did the same thing to him before stepping back. She took off the bloody gloves she had on and threw them on the coffee table with the bloody towels and other miscellaneous things.

"You did good, Lil." She finally said to me after she took a deep breath. I just looked at her. "Farren is about 20 minutes away. And the boys, well I'm sure they're not exactly going the speed limit so who knows where they are." She said directed at them. Both gave a slight nod. I looked down at Orion and he looked up at me with a lazy smile. "I guess I should have been more careful." He joked and I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. I kneeled back down by him and he turned his head towards me. "Try not to look so worried, love. People are going to start to think you might actually like me." I rolled my eyes at him. "All my worry is for Carter." His eyes darkened and even though it was a joke he did not look pleased with my answer. Carter laughed and I looked up at him, smirking. "Go ahead, have your fun. I guess our time in the locker room didn't make it clear enough for you. Just wait until Farren gets here and fixes this." He threatened and my thighs clenched at the remembrance of his fingers inside of me yesterday. When he saw the pink tint on my cheeks he smirked, letting out a hum.

"Just give me this one thing, I'm injured after all." He said, with a pout on his lips. I scoffed. "I already bailed you out of jail today, you got your one thing." He intensified his pouty face and I couldn't help but laugh lightly. "I'm glad you're alright." I said softly so only he could hear. And he grinned like a school boy. "How could I not be? I knew you were waiting for me to come home okay." He said just as softly. I swallowed hard as I looked into his beautiful green eyes. I guess that was the moment I knew that whatever was going on between us, I wasn't getting rid of him anytime soon.
