After a long while of sitting down there thinking and plundering if he should go inside the building or not, suddenly questioning his sanity. He finally stepped out of the car, feeling the scorching of the sun hit the back of his neck.

He straightened his suit and took long strides towards the entrance of the door, he pulled open the double glass doors and stepped inside, it was like a miniature of his own building.

The reception area was big, but not as huge as his, the shiny tiled floor and workers going up and down, chattering and making small noises.

A few heads turned to him and some even whispered among themselves, but he just walked past them, he was used to the attention he always got wherever he went.

His legs was fast enough to get him into the elevator, he pressed the button for the top floor and waited, listening to the calm and soothing sounds from the elevator, but nothing about what he was about to do was soothing.

He clenched his jaw and shoved his hands into his pockets, after a few minutes the elevator dinged opening up and he stepped out of it, finding Nate's office won't be a problem at all. If he was right then it would be like every other CEOs office, and would be the only other office on this floor, asides the conference room

He took the only turn he could see, taking a left he walked straight until he came face to face with a glass door, it had the company's logo on it.

He pulled it open and stepped inside the office, his eyes drank in the state of the office, as it looked very plain

"Good day sir, can I help...." She paused as both their eyes met and hers widened a bit in shock "..you" she finished with a whisper

It was the same annoying girl that was with Nate last night, so she worked for him He mused as he watched her start to fret, she was trying to make it subtle but he could spot nervousness a mile away

"Nathan Miller, is he in"? He asked and she just nodded unable to speak, she had on the same type of heavy make up she had on the previous night, and her dress was obviously too tight for her, they looked like they'd rip if she moved too much

He clenched his jaw and sighed out, trying to block whatever thoughts were about to cloud his mind about this woman in front of him.

Without saying anything, he just starts walking towards the only door he saw in the room, it must lead to his office. The girl stuttered and quickly followed behind him almost stumbling

"Uhm.... Sir... I'm sorry but you can't go in there" she squealed out but he didn't even pay any attention to her as he opened the door and walked inside the office, the air in here was quite different from the rest of the building.

The first thing that met with his eyes were brown almost golden tired, eyes. He could see them widened from their normal size in shock as he strode into the office, his eyes moved from Nate's eyes down to his lips which were now slightly parted, the way his Adam apple bobbed as he swallowed and two buttons on his shirt undone, the sleeve of his shirt rolled up revealing almost perfectly slender arms, his ruffled hair Spade could feel the muscle in his body relax a notch as he walked further into the room, the lady still following behind him

Nate's eyes moved from his and landed behind him shutting the lady up in the process as he nodded his head indicating it was okay, her heels clicked as she walked out of the room and shut the door, all the while Spade had his eyes on Nate, staring at him intently, reading every facial feature he had, from the thickness of his brows, to how unruly his curl was and how his fingers itched to untagle them What the fuck is he thinking right now.

As if being hit with something, he quickly snapped out of his thoughts and so did Nate, only now realizing that they were alone in the room, the last time this happened was in Spade's office.

Nate quickly looked away from the grey orbs that were piercing his and threatening to tear through his skin, memories of last night flashing through his mind.

It took him almost eternity before he could sleep, he kept turning and tossing as the blood from the man's head kept haunting him, the sound of the gunshot ringing in his ears.

He took in a deep breath trying to steady his heartbeat, seeing Spade had suddenly spiked it and it was becoming a trouble for him to breathe properly again, but he was trying to hide it. Spade didn't need to know that he scared him that much.

"Miller" Spade's thick, Italian accent, deep voice echoed through the office, making Nate to look at him momentarily not meeting his gaze, he swallowed and willed himself to talk, yes he was still pretty much shaken from last night but he couldn't just stand there and say nothing, he'd look like a total fool, or according to his father, a pathetic fool.

"What are you doing here"? He asked, his subconscious almost screamed at him at how feeble and weak his voice came out, he didn't intend for it to come out like that, in his head it sounded much more confident and strong, not like a cat being mauled to death.

Spade sighed, keeping a bored and stoic expression, he took more steps into the room, raking his eyes through the room, from the huge glass just behind Nate, to the shelf on the left hand side of the room, just behind the couch, and the cabinet on the left side, where there was a water dispenser just on top.

His eyes finally landed on Nate again, and he was watching him, making him quickly look away like someone who's been caught admiring chocolate from a glass encasing.

"What do you think I'm doing here Miller"? He retorted back watching every move the young man made, even to the slight twitch of his fingers, even tho the room was cool he could see the small speck of sweat on his forehead and the slight rise and fall of the vein in his neck, meaning he was scared or maybe just extra alert.

"Are you here to warn me, ask me not to say anything about what I saw last night, or that no one would believe me, are you here to threaten to kill me again"? He asked, his voice coming out more hard this time than the first time, Spade almost smirked, almost but he masked it as he took calculated and slow steps towards the other side of the table, right where Nate was standing.

He stopped right in front of him, and watched his face, his thick brows and very long lashes, lashes that could make any lady jealous and envious, to his perfectly shaped nose, pointy at the tip, and his pink almost invincible lip. Spade found his eyes lingering on them much longer than he wanted to, he didn't realize he had swallowed until he felt the movement of his throat, from up to down.

He quickly looked away from his lips and back to his eyes, he could see a lot of emotions dancing in those brown doe like, honey eyes, they looked like something fresh out of a cartoon movie, not like ugly villains cartoon characters, but beautiful and interesting ones, like Ariel, Rapunzel and even sleeping beauty.

He almost shook his head visibly as he realized he'd been staring too long and saying rubbish he shouldn't even be thinking about, what was wrong with him.

"Is that what you want me to do? Threaten you"? He asked, making his voice an octave lower.

Nate watched as his lips moved, the top leaving an almost invincible trace of line along the lower lip, making his words come out one after the other. The way his lips twitched at the side as he talked And the way his voice got lower at the end, making goosebumps to erupt on his skin, and not the bad kind he was used to, this felt different, this one left a sweet feeling in the pit of his stomach. He didn't even realize Spade was very close to him, not until he looked up at his eyes and he could see it clearly, it was grey but not like regular grey, more glassy, like a transparent contact lens. He swallowed hard as he felt his neck heat up and his his face burn up with something unfamiliar.

He opened his mouth and shut it again, he didn't even know what to say to this very good looking, attractive and dangerous man. He shouldn't even be complimenting him, he watched this man shoot someone last night, but standing here now in front of him, he didn't really dwell on the dangerous part of him but this beautiful part, this part that was slowly stirring something in him, something that felt strange, very different from what he's felt all his life.

Different from the fear, the loneliness, the despair, the pain and the agony. This one felt right, like it had always been there waiting to be unlocked.

He licked his lips raking his teeth through the lower lip. Spade's eyes zeroed in on that single action, as he felt his hands twitch beside him but that was not the only thing that twitched. It was only for a second but he felt it, his third leg, twitched. It was almost not noticeable but he noticed it, he felt it and it made him swallow and almost stumble back but he kept his comportment.

What the hell just happened? Did he just feel himself get excited about a man, not just excited but sexually excited. He let out a deep breath and took a step back discreetly.

Shoving his hands into his pocket to contain whatever it was going on with him. "I'm not here to threaten to kill you Miller, seeing as you already know you can't tell anyone about what you witnessed last night" he muttered looking at Nate and the young man just sighed out, his eyes never leaving Spade's lips

"Then why are you here"? his voice coming out as a pathetic excuse of a whisper, his throat was parched, not from thirst but from opening his mouth for too long, drinking in the breathtaking sight before him

"I'm here to ask you a simple question and I expect you to answer honestly" he muttered, slightly clenching is jaw, anything to keep him from straying back to those crazy thoughts of his, anything to distract him from noticing how pink and soft Nate's lips looked, anything at all to keep him from drowning in those brown orbs. "Why were you there last night, snooping around"? He paused as he saw Nate's eyes move from his chest area up to his eyes "Did daddy dearest send you, hmm"? He asked his voice holding a hint of mockery in it, this made Nate to clench his jaw as his eyes moved from being soft to hard and angry.

He hated how Spade was always quick to associate whatever he did to his father, like they were the same thing. He was nothing like his father and he definitely never did anything to please him, not since he realized the man can never be pleased, even if you put your head on a silver platter for him.

"Did he ask you to spy on me for him" he taunted his face tilting up in a smirk as he saw the hard glare Nate was sending him, looking at him from up was a bit funny and exciting, he stood a few inches taller than Nate so he could easily look down on him. "Did you run to him last night to report what you found out, like an obedient little daddy's boy"? He asked his voice dripping with mockery, this made Nate fist his hands and Spade's eyes moved to them and he only relished on the fact that he was getting under his skin.

At least this would keep him from seeing how amusing it was to see his brown pupils dilate and become a shade darker than they usually are.

"You know nothing about me" Nate gritted out trying to calm his nerves, he was already feeling himself get very angry, he hated when anyone referred to him as a daddy's boy, he was nothing like that. Doing his father's business and running errands for him didn't automatically mean he was in his father's good books, he mostly did that to protect his sister, and not incure their father's wrath on any of them.

Spade just scoffed and that annoyed Nate to no end, he could feel his blood boil from inside, he was getting angry by the second, that he no longer saw anything good coming out of this conversation.

"I think I know enough, enough to know that you're daddy little errand boy, running around doing your daddy's bidd....." Without letting him finish his sentence, Nate felt his cool demeanor leave him as he lunged for Spade's face, his fist almost connecting with it.

Ooh lala 😁😁
