[ Expressionless Awakener : 39.5: Extra ]

The instructors knew quite a lot of the history of The Arena.. Especially from announcements of the Arena's Gameplay for choosing between 3 or 5 games in every 3-4 years.

If the principal has announced 3 rounds for the gameplay, It'll straight-up get easily difficult just by playing the first round of the Arena.

Those last 3 games only occurred when all is normal inside the school. Specifically Used for last-term exams and increasing fame or reputation.

But IF the principal chooses 5 games, Only 2 of those remaining games aren't to be taken seriously by the school.

They're known as practice games. Used for gaining extra points for exams. (And Grades.)

Which is a reason why it's important but not taken seriously for students to participate. (As if they're gonna ruin their grades and get expelled like an idiot if they don't participate.)

Due to the traumatic coincidences and events that have occurred for the past two years, The principal has made a decision for the exams to turn in for the 3rd semester.

Reasoning it as "Practice to get stronger" to the public.

Those remaining practice games are used by each section of the school.

The AuroraWhales The SkyLock The GoldenGrace sections.

Each section supposedly gains points altogether, If worked as a team, But as those remaining games finish until the third game.. All sections will no longer gain points altogether, As they will begin to depend on themselves and seperate. ....Is what the rules say in the Arena Gameplay.

There are different types of games that are recommended for the Arena.

Either of those can be a Two-team gameplay.. Or a solo gameplay.

But it depends on the instructor's chosen game.

Extra Practice or Training makes extra grades and extra strength... The outside and inside of the school knew that all well, Even its enemies knew from hidden bases. But not enough of a reason for the exams to be held so early.

Well, It's not like "Practice" or "Training" Is the only reason the Exam was held to begin with.

"Why did the school do that on purpose if it's gonna take attention from both outside and inside of the world?" "Calling it some kind of "5 Game" Exam and being held too early?" "Isn't it gonna take in suspicion from all the public?"

Although that last question was point-on obvious if it's gonna take in just like that.... especially the lack of evidence in most cases. But the school's generation has done this same thing for so long, and for so many times. Repeating it like history to come.

The public even questioned the school's weird decisions for so many times in the same situations, only for it to become vague.

And somehow... The school itself was able to avoid it.

Those questions or doubts were not answered for so long, They no longer questioned the school as time went by.. As they would only avoid it or answer in a different view, and simply waste time and haste.

The school didn't become like that after the few decades of it's stand. But I guess each successor takes on the rule of being the 'principal' which changes in every decade it went by.

Changing rules based on different kinds of knowledge.

But anyway, The public just thought it was a simple fun thing the school made for its reputation and for their students, which slowly gotten used to the school's antics and went with the flow.

It's not like it'll cause that much harm to begin with...

But thats what the world thought.

Like I said before, "Training" for the first 2 games in a five round gameplay isn't the only reason the Arena Exam was held after the dangerous events that have occurred for so long.. Even helding it early between 2nd to 3rd semesters.

There is likely one reason for it...

Enticement

It happens every year in the Arena.

Although the word is about the persuasion of another person, It can also mean in a way to trap someone.

The Arena Exam is simply just an exam.. But also a decoy. Those that knew the exam too well were likely to feel aware, The school tries to lure them into that same decoy.

"Why?" Is the question.

It's simple, It was to manipulate those who either felt or are suspicious, Likely to trick them into it just to figure out the worries and traumatic incidents of the current events that have happened for so long.

Or in other words, Manipulate them through enticement or force. seeking their words whether it is linked to those events or not.

Targets or suspicious people like that are mostly Rivaled Enemies or near- suspicious people.. The school also investigates students before or after the transferring.. while also keeping an eye on them during or after school bases. (I mean, They also investigated Kwan Jihu for getting too suspicious, But they slowly let it go after the protagonist somewhat manages to avoid or trick them.. I mean, He is the protagonist after all.)

If it was held so early means that the events that have happened must've been way too traumatic for the world to likely break in half.

I mean, a lot of people died in that process, so the school is trying to desperately reduce that. (Though I have been acting like an extra and is still alive for the past 2 years, so I wouldn't really experience what it's like.)

There are at least two simple ways the school lures them.

One was to make them feel aware of the school's decisions, Making them feel cautious and trying to find out the reasons. But It's not exactly what the school was looking for, Since most of them are not targeted as suspicious suspects and are mostly naive people trying to figure out the school's intentions.

It is a somewhat useless way of enticement, Not much meaning was put to begin with. But the school still does that so they can find even an inch of connection to the events that have occurred for so long, but things like that don't really happen often, so the school didn't really put that much effort.

Honestly.. I don't even know why they went so far on trying to get to the school's guts.. Probably because they're dumb and stupid to believe such things.

On the other hand, The other way was a different kind of enticement.

Most of those people are usually smart within the inside and outside of their surroundings. Sure, they are aware of the school's decisions... But It's not like they'll jump onto the school's territory first thing to find out.

Most of them already knew the reasons and only kept quiet about it.. and are even highly targeted as they might have connections to the events of the past and current.

And soon, they'll only make a plan for themselves, whether it is to group with other connected 'unknowns' or go through it alone.

These kinds of 'unknowns' are usually hard to capture and percept.

They're like a sharp needle that bleeds once touched.. depending on how powerful their mana status are.

The only way the school lures them has a similar enticement from the first. Like usual, They would wait for them... But with something extra.

There are higher-ups that are part of the school system facility, That knows most of the secrets of the school's hideouts and such.

Just like those sharp suspects(Or connected-event kind of villains), They are as sharp as a blade, and could even slice more than just a thousand papers.. Equaling to those that are involved depending on mana status.

Those higher-ups.. are known as manipulators, involved in the cases of events.

Those that control the human mind like a disease or a virus, Soaring through the brain and controlling the cells inside it.

Replacing memories and wrecking their minds.

Manipulators

That hides within the shadows of the school building, Keeping watch and moving swiftly. Eyeing on each student one by one. Unfortunately there are only a few of them in the school facility.. Since one of them turned away to "that" kind of path.

But anyway, they're almost like protectors of the school, In other words, Guardians that protect the school system.

They also help in cases of the events that have happened currently, and most of it comes from the Arena Exam Program, or in the school facilities.

Which helps interrogate suspects or villains as such...

But oh well, I'm probably gonna forget about this info anyway... Wait, How did I even remember this in the novel? ( Kim's imaginary expression:🤨🤔 ) . . . . . [ Expressionless Awakener : 39.5: Extra ]
