[ Expressionless Awakener ]

The battle continued and the atmosphere was intense.... As usual.

[ "Three Explosive Bombs have spawned at the student's platform!" ]

[ "10 Seconds before it explodes!" ]

The intense music that swayed the battlefield.... Comes Micheal Lorn, Grabbing the bombs and throwing it at Kwan Jihu!

Kwan Jihu grabs all the three bombs and throws it back at Micheal Lorn!

This Process continued repeatedly... only at the last second where Kwan Jihu took the Bombs and threw it in a different direction.

That direction.... Headed towards.... me.

'NOT AGAIN-!' I thought as the panic swam through my head, my ahoge straightened vertically from the panic.

I stood and jumped away from the sitting area and dodged the three bombs just in time. Though fortunately, I only got injured from the impact. No... I don't really think thats 'fortunate'. The injury is always minor, but I almost broke my bones every time.

Every few minutes, A direct hit from my direction would always appear in front of me, especially in the sitting area.

But every time I get healed from that impact, I would suddenly forget the dangers and continued going to the sitting area like nothing happened.

I don't know why, but I did anyway. As a result, I only repeatedly get slight scratches but a few other small injuries.

Luckily, the guy that sat beside me would always give me healing potions whenever I got wounded by the impact.

I forgot his name again, and I can only remember his vague face. But now that i'm far away, unseen because of the smoke that was formed from the impact, I doubt that guy would help me in this situation now.

'......' "Can somebody help me..?" I expressionlessly pleaded as my ahoge drooped.

Barely anyone noticed me get injured from the impact every time, pleading for help with such a plain face would only do nothing.

Suddenly, A beautiful-looking person started to approach me. Her face was covered by the smoke, but I could tell from her figure she was quite a shiny person.

"Are you ok?" She asked, Lending me her hand.

'Isn't that obvious..?' I thought, shaking my head.

For some reason, She was the only person that somehow noticed me lay down on the plain sand injured. Her looks and her personality were already familiar, I just can't tell what kind of character she was.

[ Um... Kim Lee, Thats Lusian Luien. 😂 ] The red system suddenly appeared and replied right by my shoulder.

'Oh'

'I forgot' I thought of clueless after reading the systems texts.

"Don't worry, I'll help you." The character spoke with full-on kindness to help me.

Her eyes began to glow as her hand gently touched my slightly wounded injury.

A few seconds passed and I began to take out my sunglasses out of nowhere and put it on. "...Don't you think its a waste using this kind of mana on me.?" I asked expressionlessly with the sunglasses.

"I don't think so, I think its better if I could help that person even if she or he has a scratch or a minor injury." She answered with a gentle smile.

I don't think she noticed the sunglasses I wore, but because of her figure shining in front me, I can't help but feel touched but blinded at the same time.

No seriously, She was shining.. Like REALLY Shining.... or glowing. I don't even know why. [Red]: Kim, I think thats just your imagination 🤣😂 ]

But oh well, It doesn't matter. I forgot her name again anyway. so even remembering her face can only result in a burning sun instead of her actual face. [[Red]: Do you have dementia?? 🤔 ]

"Alright, It's done now.. You should be able to walk again!" The character smiled again as she stood up.

"It's just a small injury, I can still walk even without healing it.. but thanks i guess." I took out my sunglasses as the shine wore off slowly. At the same time, Lusian questions herself why Kim lee is wearing sunglasses even though she didn't notice him wear it.

"You look very familiar.. May I ask what your name is?" Lusian asked, continuing to smile.

"..." "Kim Le- -Johnson" I spoke, Almost forgetting my other name.

"Kim Johnson...? That name is quite familiar, along with your face at that." She spoke, smiling again.

"..."

Awkwardness began to fill the atmosphere, due to the fact we don't remember each other's faces and names.

[ She's the girl that dressed you up in the crossdressing contest!!!! 😫 ] The red system replied suddenly.

'...' 'I forgot' I thought with my head moved slightly in the side.

"O-oh! It's almost time for the next round! I gotta go back to my section! See you around... Kim.. Jackson..?" Lusian Luien spoke with awkwardness, hurrying back to her section.

'Did she hear my name wrong?' I thought as my ahoge wiggled horizontally with my face expressionless as usual.

[ No wonder you're such a lomer 🙂 ] Red responded with a single misspelling.

My ahoge drooped lower as I read the systems texts, of course with my face expressionless (but slightly darker) as usual.

Time passed and the battle eventually ended and only lasted about 15 minutes. Just like what happens to every main character, Kwan Jihu won the round.

Luckily, I learned my lesson this time and put up a distance from the dangerous sitting area. I decided to hang with the other section, though I only had a conversation with them and ended only 3 minutes before it continued.

At least I made another friend, I think that guy has glasses, but I kind of forgot his name and face. [[Red]: You need meds😟 ]

As for the round of the third game... Kwan Jihu was able to pass for the first round.

All he did was immediately solve the case after getting the last piece at the last minute. He was able to solve the case at approximately two minutes.

He was so far the fastest to solve the mystery, But I'm guessing he solved it because of the original novel he read.

The crowd went WILD when Kwan Jihu won.

"YO! ALEXANDER WON!!??"

"LESS GOO!!"

"I WAS DEFINITELY ROOTING FOR THAT GUY!!"

Half of the entire crowd rooted for him to win. Because of his two years here in the academy, of course the students began to form some kind of fan club about him, especially one of those.... dangerous fanclubs of women with almost the same opinions with the similar standards... it's more like.. drooping saliva for him and get angsty over him.

Thinking about it scares me....

[ "What an intense fight!" ] The instructor of the Golden Grace section, Whose name I forgot again, Spoke through the mic with his hands clapping.

[ "Who knew Alexander Grace had this kind of intelligence! Solving the case this fast is like breaking a whole new record!" ] The instructor that I once again forgot his name, chuckled through the mic with his voice high.

[ "I can't help but feel impressed every time.. This student of mine always brings many new experiences." ] The instructor of the aurorawhales section, Which I also forgot his name, chuckled with his face smugged at the other instructor.

The aurorawhales instructor was flexing at the fact that he had such a student, especially at his rival of the Golden Grace section.

The Golden Grace instructor looked back at his rival with a forced grimaced expression. trying to force his smile at the crowd while looking incredibly dark at his own rival.

The intense mad-like atmosphere between the two made it pretty obvious.

'...It feels like seeing an intense debate except this isn't about politics.' I thought, expressionless.

[ LOL I KNOW RIGHT!?😜 ] The red system responded... weirdly.

[ "Calm down you two... I thought we discussed this an hour ago, is it not?" ] The instructor of the skylock class, spoke clamly to the two instructors. Usually, she's the most calm and diligent between the two, and would always act like a mother trying to give advice to her two sons.

And no, She doesn't actually have children.

I yawned slightly in tiredness as I continued to speak with the system; 'When is the next round going to start?'

[ They'll start in a minute, The screen in the arena is about to show which students are going to 1v1 each other!! 😆 ] The red system responded back to my question, feeling somewhat excited through the texts.

'Alright.' I mumbled.

I yawned slightly as small tears began to drip off my eyes from exhaustion, I never expected that I would be this tired.

'Did I forgot to sleep last night and gone blank the whole time? I don't remember.' I thought, wiping my slight tears.

[[Red]: You woke up at 3 to train Kim Lee, You just forgot about it. 😃 ] The system replied back to my thoughts.

A minute has passed and the screen of the arena finally decided.

The instructor gripped the mic tightly as he mumbled below his breath; [ "The first student that will be chosen in this new round is....." ]

[ "Allen Krain from the Skylock Section!" ] The instructor spoke with his right hand in the air.

The screen of the arena shows the chosen student from the spinning wheel for this new round. While as the second student awaits as the wheel continued spinning.

It could be any of the students from the top three sections of the academy. And each section has... quite a lot of students that were applied in the three sections last year. Along with the students from two years ago as well.

But going through the math and calculating it would be a lot harder for me to figure out.. since I don't really know the limit capacity of the students in each of the three sections.

'I guess I still have enough time to look for another sitting area..' I thought navigating around the arena for sits.

The screen on the arena continued to spin for a few seconds, giving more time and curiosity for all of the audiences in the arena.

I looked above the screen and contemplated for a while; 'It shouldn't be that possible if I were to be chosen by that wheel right..?'

I took a blank for a while and shook my head lightly.

'Nah... I don't think i'll get pi-' [ "Kim Johnson from the aurorawhales class has been chosen for the second round of the game!" ] The Instructor shouted at the mic with my name mentioned.

'...'

'WHAT THE HECK-!!???' I thought as my eyes widened slightly with my ahoge straightened for shock.

[ Welp, Goodluck Kim! 😘 ] The system replied, disappearing afterwards.

'Out of all the students in this arena... Why did it pick.. ME???' I thought with my ahoge wiggled in a question mark.

[ "Huh... I thought it would be a student I'm familiar with... Who is this student named Kim Johnson..?" ] The instructor of the Golden Grace section mumbled through the mic, with an expression of curiosity.

[ Did they not remember you from that cross-dressing game? Just how unnoticeable can you be just to be forgotten in minutes...? 🤨 ] The red system replied in a question.

'Honestly.. I don't even know it myself.' I thought as my ahoge drooped slowly.

The instructor grinned; [ "Well.. That doesn't matter now.." ]

[ "Please present yourselves to the platform.. Fellow Students!" ]

The crowd began to cheer with their voices high, Curious and excited of the next round.

That last round was also filled with excitement, The battle between Alexander Grace and Micheal Lorn was an intensive fight.

I gulped as I felt the feeling of restlessness.

I began to walk timidly to the platform as I navigated from both sides.

As soon as I stepped onto the platform. I felt eyes from all different kinds of directions watched me over.

It's not the feeling of others watching me, but rather the fight between me and the character in front of me.

It felt incredibly unsettling.

'Ugh....'

'I shouldn't have blanked and thought useless things earlier.... Because if I haven't.... I WOULDN'T HAVE FORGOTTEN THE CONTENTS OF THE TRAINING KWAN JIHU TAUGHT ME!!' I cried out silently as I suddenly remembered the training from the first game.* (*The 31-32 chapters where Kim was dragged by the protagonist to train before the first game started.)

Getting horribly injured during an Exam might've been my worstest experiences right now. Even though the round hasn't even started yet!!

[ Kim Lee.. You don't have to worry, I mean. You've gone through worse than this.. right? 😅 ] The system appeared and replied to comfort me.

'I don't even remember what I've gone through...' I thought as I have nothing to reminisce since I've already forgotten those dangerous moments.. especially the ones from 5 minutes ago.

I clasped my face gently as I suddenly had a grasp of my senses. '...'

'Hold on...'

'Hey Red, Does that control thing still available?' I asked the system.

[ I don't know. 😗 ] The Red system responded.

'You're no help.' I replied with my ahoge straightened horizontally.

[ "Now... Let the second round... BEGIN!" ]

The crowd once again cheered in excitement as the timer of the screen began to click.

One minute before something spawns!

'What am I supposed to do in this situation!!?' I cried out silently, feeling disconcerted.
