I was nervous

I anxiously walked around the cafe while I waited for Hael. We're supposed to go to Althea, the Elf Kingdom, today but after what happened yesterday night, I'm worried about meeting with him.

The minutes ticked by painfully slow, each one a reminder of the uncertainty that hung in the air. My mind raced with thoughts of the conversation we had, the weight of my confession still heavy on my chest.

What if he doesn't come? What if I've disgusted him away? My heart pounded in my chest, the fear of his absence gripping me tighter with each passing moment. Now that I know I want him, I'm being so conscious of everything.

I glanced at the clock for what felt like the hundredth time, the hands moving with an agonizing slowness.

I wonder what's going through his mind. Did he think about how torturous his life was when he was with me in the original timeline?

The cafe door chimed softly as another customer entered.

!!!

I shot my head in that direction hoping to see a certain someone but it wasn't him.

Oh

"Hello," He greeted me and I forced a smile, greeting the newcomer, but my mind was elsewhere, my thoughts consumed by the uncertainty of his arrival.

"Boss," Aira poked my side out of nowhere making me jump

"Epp!" I felt a current go through my body, then I looked at her, "What!?"

"Calm down," She was holding a tray with empty dishes in one palm that she held upwards, "All the customers are staring at you."

???

I looked around and saw all eyes were on me, "Oh!...Sorry," I let out a soft sigh, "I'll go sit down somewhere." I turned around to go and sit down behind the counter when I saw something.

A familiar glow caught my eye, drawing my attention to the street outside. The faint outline of a magic circle began to appear, shimmering softly against the cobblestones. My breath caught in my throat, a mix of relief and anticipation flooding through me. He's coming.

Without a second thought, I ran out.

he cafe, the customers, the mundane tasks of the day—they all faded into the background as I pushed open the door and stepped outside. The cool air hit my face, but I barely felt it, my focus entirely on the magical light that grew brighter with each passing second.

I stood on the sidewalk, my eyes fixed on the circle as it completed its formation. The air hummed with energy

My heart raced with a mixture of hope and fear, the anticipation nearly overwhelming.

And then, he was there. The magic circle shimmered one last time before fading away, leaving him standing in its place. Our eyes met, and for a moment, the world seemed to stop.

"Hael," I smiled at him, "You came,"

He looked at me with a questionable look, "Why wouldn't I come? We have work to do."

"Oh, yea, I mean. I thought," I wasn't sure how to say this, "I thought you might be mad at me."

"For what?" He asked as he folded his arms. He was wearing a loose black shirt with black pants. The dark element of his dressing highlighted his natural features even more.

"Because of what I did to you in the past?" I said softly,

"The one I don't remember?" He asked and I nodded, "Why would I care about something I don't remember?"

I paused

"You don't care?" I frowned softly

"For me, that never even happened. So why do I need to care?"

...

I blinked and looked away in confusion. I wasn't expecting him not to care at all. I brought my hand up and nervously scratched my cheek, "Well, that's one way to look at it." I paused, "So, you're not worried about it at all?"

His eyes wandered off for a second before coming back to me, "I would say I am disappointed."

!!!

I felt a pang in my heart

"I'm sorry," I shook my head slightly, "I- well,-"

"It's fine," He bent down to my eye level, "If it bothers you, you can be better to me in this life." Our eyes were so close I couldn't help but admire those light gray eyes of his, "You do plan on being good to me, don't you?"

"Uhm," How do I answer that

"Or do you plan on torturing me again?"

"NO!" I answered immediately, "No! I'll be good to you!" I stepped towards him and he straightened up, "There is no way I'd ever do that shit again!" I balled my fists trying to make my point.

He smirked, "How good?"

I paused again, "How good?"

He folded his arm, "Yes? How do you plan on being good to me?"

...

"Uhhh, however you like?" The direction of the conversation was something I hadn't even imagined. I was worrying about him being mad, but he brushed it off so easily.

"So, you don't have anything?" He shook his head in disappointment, "You don't really care about what you did, do you?"

"No! I do!" I said, "I just," He's right. I've never thought about what I could do to make up to him, "I'm sorry ... I'll do anything to make it up to you!" And now that I'm thinking about it, it does make me seem inconsiderate.

"..." He looked down at me with a curious gaze, "Anything?"

"Anything," I nodded, "What do you want?"

His lips curled up into a sly smile, "Are you sure, you'll do anything?"

"Yes," I said, "If it's something I can do, I'll do it."

"Alright," There was a mischievous tone in his voice, "Dance for me then."

!!!!

"What?" I think I might have heard that wrong.

"I want you to dance for me again." His smile felt so sinister it made me freeze, "But this time, I want it to be longer."

I think my mind stopped working for a moment.

He wants me to give him a lap dance again?

And he wants it to be longer?

HUH!?!?!?

***'

"That's interesting." We both walked towards the entrance of the Elf Capital City, "A world with no magic but has science based high tech tools,"

I told him a lot about my world.

"Yea,"

"And you can find videos from this thing called 'YouTube' to learn anything?" I nodded. I told him about where I learned the lapdance from. To make it easier for him to understand, I told him it's like recording. Like how we can live talk here through magic items, in the modern world, through tools we can also record the whole thing and make them accessible to anyone on a thing called the internet.

"It seems like it's quite a convenient place."

"It is," I said, "Well the modern time, where I lived is. People keep creating things to make life more and more easier." I glanced at him, "But that all aside, is a dance what you really want?"

"Why?" He turned his head to look at me, "

"I mean, it is not exactly equilateral," I moved my head around while trying to make a point, "For all I did, you want a dance in exchange?"

His smile got wider, "You can give me a lifetime of exotic dances, if you're not satisfied." That grin of his looked so evil, "I won't mind,"

I looked away, then let out an awkward laugh, "No, one is fine." I gulped.

But why a dance??!

Why would you choose that?! I want to ask again but I feel like he'll change the subject again. But I have this strong feeling surging inside of me that he has other plans.

And why did I agree to give it to him!??

Because I feel guilty!?

I glared at him, "To be fair," He looked at me, "You did kill me, so, didn't you actually have your revenge?"

"I don't know," He shrugged, "I don't remember any of that. You tell me,"

"..." I looked at him, and then turned my face away while pursing my lips, "How would I know, I died."

He chuckled, "You said, you would do anything, are you going back on your word?"

I pouted, "No..." My heart acted weird. It's just that I'm already having an embarrassment episode just thinking about it. I bit my lower lip.

This pervert! Of all the things he could have asked as an apology, he wants a lap dance.

I chewed my inner lip

Fine!

I'll give you a lap dance even if it kills me internally!

Not only will I give you an exotic dance, I will touch you in ways that will make you hard!!

...

My cheeks flushed up as an image of Hael sitting on a chair with his 'thing' bulging through his pants flashed through my mind.

My eyes went wide but I didn't stop walking.

I balled my fists, then blinked nervously, trying to erase that racy image from my brain but it wasn't working. It was stuck there.

GOD!!!

I am torturing myself with this!!!

The entrance gate came into view and Hael stopped walking. I stopped and looked back at him, "What's wrong?"

"I won't be going in," He said, "You'll go alone."

"What?" I looked at him with a frown, "Alone?" I pointed at myself.

"Ezio will guide you in," He pointed at the entrance, "He's waiting there at the entrance." I turned around and looked at the entrance. I could barely make out a figure standing there since it was still far, but I couldn't tell who it was.

I looked at Hael again. Well, since he is half-elf, his sight must be better than that of humans.

"Why aren't you coming?" I asked, "Weren't you going to talk with your aunt about the miasma origins?"
