The sound of laughter echoed through the septuplets room, we can see taufan lounging lazily in one of the bed with his sapphire blue eyes shine brightly.

He casually chatting with thorn who was clinging to a fluffy plushy shape of a cat, laughing once in a while after Taufan tell one of his jokes.

Solar was off to the side as he was busy tinkering with a small device in his hand, his silver eyes which was being cover by his visor focused intently on his work, completely ignoring blaze who are shouting at ice and asking him to play with him.

Ice on the other hand didn't seem bother and continue listening to music through his headphones even tho his whole body being shake by the said brother much to blaze's annoyance.

Halilintar leaned against the wall while scrolling through his phone, glancing at his brothers once in awhile before he continue to see if he can find anything interesting on the internet.

Then there's gempa who was sitting on his bed in silence, staring out the window and gazing at the stars but he couldn't really shake off a knot in his stomach since this morning.

As Gempa sat in still on his bed, his gaze flickered from the stars to the soft glow of the station’s lights, the usual hum of the station, comforting in its predictability, somewhat seemed… off.

The air was heavier than usual, as if something was pressing down on the space around them which cause his heart to quickened in his chest, but he tried to shake it off.

It was just his imagination...

Right?

"Gempa?" Taufan’s voice broke through his thoughts as the third oldest looked over to see his brother who seem to notice his uneasy.

"Why so quiet gemgem?" Taufan asked with a teasing smile tugging at his lips, gempa forced out a chuckle but it didn’t quite reach his eyes.

"Just tired" he calmly said with a smile, causing taufan to raises his brows in suspicion.

"Eh, you always say that" Taufan shrugged and went back to lounging, his attention already shifting elsewhere.

Gempa’s eyes drifted back to the window but his thoughts were everywhere, still swirling and still restless, something was wrong but he couldn’t put his finger on it.

He then looked back at the others, thorn was happily playing with the plushy, making it 'meow' like a real cat, Blaze was still shouting at Ice who seemed entirely unfazed by the chaos around him.

Solar was still tinkering with his entire attention fix into the small device, halilintar was scrolling through his phone and read whatever he find interesting in it, none of them seemed to notice the tension.

Gempa’s hand tightened into a fist as he glanced down at the small device in Solar’s hand, the one that he had been working on for the past few hours.

A device given by ochobot with the youngest who are currently fixing it due to it got slightly damage from their previous mission due to a certain someone. Ehem iykyk-

He was focusing on solar working on it before a sudden crackling over the station's intercom broke out.

"Attention! commander kokoci here, request for the elemental brothers in the control room now" the voice come through, sharp and commanding which manage to gain the septuplet attention.

"I repeat, request for the elemental brothers in the control room now, kokoci, out" he repeat once again before the station fall into silence, the brothers look at each other before taufan stood up and start to stretch his body.

"guess it's mission time" taufan said with a grin, his carefree demeanor making everything seem like just another day before he notice how tense gempa are.

"whats up gempa? you're looking like you just ate a whole galaxy" he joked out and manage to snapped gempa out of his thought.

"just a bad feeling" he muttered with discomfort under his breath, getting even more uneasy than before.

"something doesn't sit right with me about today" he continue which cause every single one of them to look at him curiously, halilintar pushed himself off the wall and calmly grab his cap on the table.

"you always have a bad feeling before any mission gempa, we will be fine" halilintar spoke but it only make gempa's gut twisted, true to the oldest word, he always have bad feeling in every mission.

Yet he didn't know why that he could't seem to shake the feeling that something will happen this time, but for now...

He will brush it off

The control room was dimly lit with a large holographic display projected in the center, commander kokoci stood before them with his arms crossed, his sharp eyes flicking over the septuplet with a serious look despite being only 4 foot tall-

"glad to see all of you here" he said gruffly before he pull out a long metalic stick and point at the hologram infront of him because he can't really reach it-

"Listen up, We’ve been hired to deliver supplies to a rebel faction on Elysium-12" he said while showing the planet who seem almost dead.

"They’ve been fighting for control of the planet for years and the empire has pulled out, leaving the planet in a state of decay" he said seriously with the septuplet listening carefully to his word, well some of them since blaze seem bored, ice seem interested while thorn seem confuse.

"You are not just dropping off food and ammo, You are helping these people stand against the mercenaries that have started to move in" he said with a hologram of a few soldier like alien pop infront of them.

"These are the same mercs that raided the settlements last week, they will likely be on the lookout for you" blaze’s eyes sparkled with excitement as he caught a hint of joining a battle.

"So we get to fight? I’m in!" He said happily much to some of their amusement but commander kokoci face morph into a even more serious look.

"Not yet," Kokoci shot him down.

"Your job is to drop the supplies and make sure everything goes smoothly" he said with blaze who seem to pout when the commander give him a glare for a brief moment.

"If everything is calm, you leave immediately but if things go south-"

"We deal with it" Halilintar cut him off which make commander kokoci nodded.

"Exactly, Now the rebels will be meeting you at the drop off point" he said as the hologram change into an area where they will be meeting the rebels group.

"They will be there with a guide to make sure you get where you need to go" he said again as his metal stick point at one of the 'x' mark.

"However, I want all of you to stay alert" he suddenly said which cause all of them to look serious.

"This planet's atmosphere is unstable and we have no intel on the movements of the mercenaries so It’s not just your usual mission." He warn them as he look at each one of them.

Gempa’s gut twisted tighter as commander kokoci continued to speak, detailing their approach and the security measures in place.

But there was a nagging feeling in the back of his mind, something about the mission, something about Elysium-12, wasn’t right and his instincts screamed at him to back off, to tell his brothers to turn around and leave.

"You okay Gempa?" Halilintar asked as he notice his brother’s distant gaze.

"I’m fine," Gempa muttered uneasily while shaking his head as if to dismiss the feeling.

"Just... got a bad feeling." He said again with a hint of discomfort in his tone.

"Nothing new there," Blaze joked before nudging him playfully.

The rest of the briefing went smoothly, but gempa get even more worried, It felt like the calm before the storm.

But then he notice how their commander look uneasily and slightly fidgeting, adding more tention that it is.

Their ship descended into Elysium-12’s atmosphere with the landscape coming into view as they neared their destination.

The planet’s surface was cracked and scarred with towering skyscrapers that were little more than skeletons of their former selves, the air outside the ship was thick with the scent of rust and decay.

Gempa couldn't stop staring out the window as his stomach knotting with every passing moment, his intuition was louder now and he hated it.

He had been on plenty of missions, been on alot of planets but there was something about Elysium-12 that didn’t sit right.

The planet looked lifeless but not in the way a dead planet would, there was still movement here and there, still a sense of something hidden beneath the surface.

"Gempa, you are thinking too hard" blaze teased as he leaning over the back of his seat and flashing him a grin.

"Come on it’s just another mission, You are not going to lose your nerve now are you?" Gempa didn’t answer but his eyes still glued to the view, the feeling had only grow stronger, his heart beat faster than before.

"You really think we are in danger?" Taufan asked with his voice unusually serious for someone who usually brushed things off so easily.

"I mean yeah, it’s a rebel faction" he pause before scratching his none ichy head.

"Sure the mercenaries are bad news, but we handled worse, right?" He said as he was trying to calm his brother down but it seem like he fail to do so.

"If Gempa gut telling him something off, we’re not going in blindly" halilintar said seriously, gempa gut are on a whole new level, and if he can't seem to shake of the feeling, then something are surely going to went wrong.

"We will take every precaution" he said as he leaned forward from the pilot’s seat, but even with his brother words, the unease in Gempa’s chest didn’t ease, not a tiny bit.

The ground was coming up fast with something was waiting for them on the surface and whatever it was, it wasn’t just a simple drop off.

“Come on gem gem, don’t look like we are walking into our doom" Taufan crack out a joke as he pat his head lovingly with a wide grin.

"Beside, we almost died a few times already and we are still here!” he said with a carefree smile but the silence that followed was deafening as Halilintar turned slowly toward him, fixing Taufan with an icy glare while Gempa's eyes narrowed.

“Taufan” Halilintar said with a hint of warning edge to it.

Before Taufan could react, both Halilintar and Gempa smacked him, halilintar on the back of his head and Gempa on the arm.

“Hey! It’s true!” Taufan protested while rubbing the spot where Halilintar's hand had landed.

“I’m just saying we are tough! We been through worse!” he pout dramatically.

“Taufan” Gempa sighed as he pinch the temple of his nose.

“That’s not helping" taufan’s grin faltered before it got replaced with a more serious expression, He glanced at Gempa then at Halilintar and finally the rest of his brothers who been watching from their own seat.

Sensing the mood had shifted, Taufan for once chose to rein in his usual humor.

“Alright alright” he said while holding up his hands in surrender.

“Bad joke, I will do better" he wave his hand from side to side before looking at gempa.

"Listen Gem, I promise you that all of us will be alright" he said as he gently put his hand on gempa's shoulder.

"We will handle the mission and then we head back to the station and have that nice dinner we planned" he smile while halilintar stern look softened and he gave a small nod.

“and i promise you that we will head back together and have a nice movie night together after dinner, okay?" Gempa’s tense shoulders relaxed slightly before he nodded and give a small tentative smile.

"Okay, you better keep your promise" Taufan grinned again, as this time he playfully ruffling gempa's hair which earn a shout of protest from the said brother.

"Of course! What kind of promise breakers do you take us for?”

The septuplets landed smoothly on Elysium-12, meeting the rebel contacts in a barren crumbled building, They were a small ragtag group who looked wary but determined.

After quick introductions, the supplies were unloaded and everything seemed to be going according to plan, they kept a watchful eye on the surroundings while Taufan chatted with the rebels as he trying to lighten the mood.

When the rebels were about to guide them to safety, a loud explosion erupted from the side of the building, The air was filled with dust and debris and before anyone could react, a squad of heavily armed mercenaries stormed in.

"AMBUSH!" Halilintar shout as he notice them before the group scattered for cover.

Chaos broke loose with the septuplets moved instinctively to defend themselves and the rebels, blaze was throwing fireballs to keep the enemies at bay while Ice formed icy barricades to shield their allies along with gempa.

Despite their efforts, the mercenaries were well coordinated and relentless, they are slowly losing to them.

"We’re getting surrounded!" Thorn shout as he use his vines to capture more of them and yeet them to the sky.

Solar quickly assessed the situation and motioned to Taufan who are kinda busy attacking the mercenaries from above.

"We need to rotate the field and group up, Can you clear the way?" He shout at the second oldest which luckily taufan manage to hear.

"You got it!" Taufan grinned while unleashing a powerful gust of wind to scatter the mercenaries, creating an opening for them,

He and Halilintar then moved swiftly while calling out to their brothers to regroup. One by one, they manage to move through the battlefield, Solar and Blaze came sprinting from the left with Thorn trailing behind holding a makeshift shield from his power made out of tough vines.

Ice slid in from the right as he took down a mercenary with a precise shard of ice arrow, when the brothers finally bumped into each other, their expressions were a mix of surprise and relief.

“heck yeah we still got it!” Blaze smirked, though his breath was heavy from all that fight.

“Not the time for jokes Blaze!” Halilintar snapped as glancing around at the enemies.

“Solar! The emergency teleportation!” Halilintar yelled above the noise.

Understanding immediately, Solar pulled out the device he been working on and began typing coordinates into it.

“It’s ready!” he shouted back while Halilintar nodded, he then look and motioning for Taufan to help cover their retreat.

The two of them moved to regroup closer to Solar and the others but as they were running, a mercenary sniper managed to take aim at Taufan with a weighted net shot out from the distance, entangling him mid air.

“Taufan!” Halilintar yelled as he watch the said brother take a harsh landing when the net weight him down badly.

Before he could even move to free his brother, two mercenaries tackled him to the ground and pinning him with sheer force causing him to struggled against their grip.

The remaining brothers watched in horror as Halilintar and Taufan were overwhelmed, thorn summon his vines while blaze was about to rush toward them but got stop by more of their enemies.

“Go!” Halilintar shouted, his voice strained as he continue to strunggle againts two mercenary.

“You have to teleport out of here!” he command but Solar hesitated, his hands trembling as he held the device.

"No! I can’t leave without you two!" he shout back against his word, halilintar gritted his teeth and sent a glare at him but there are a hint of worries in his eyes.

Taufan who are still entangled looked at his younger brother with panic, they are surrounded and those rebel even left them there!

“just go!" he winced as he struggled against the net, the mercenaries were closing in fast with their weapons raised and ready to strike down the group.

Thorn stood nervously beside gempa as they focused to defend themself from the west and east side, solar on the other hand keep shooting his optical shot at the enemy to keep them away on the north side while both Ice and Blaze were holding a wave of them from the south, but all of them knew all of their effort was futile.

Halilintar click his tongue in annoyance as he continue to rebel in the enemy grip, he panickly look around as he fail to freed himself and watch more of them keep rushing toward his other brothers.

He then look at taufan who are also strunggling to freed himself from the heavy net, his sapphire blue eyes look at him with desperation before hali give him a nod, taufan know what he mean by that nod give a bittersweet smile.

He then look at all his brothers who are all strunggling to hold back the enemy and trying to get to both him and Halilintar.

"Gempa!" He call out with the said brother looking at him with panic.

"Save me my plate" he whisper but gempa can hear him clearly despite the chaos around them, his golden eyes widen in horror when he notice a small gust of ball made out of wind in his hand.

Before anyone knows it, Taufan hurled the wind ball toward the device in solar's hand, activating it which soon emitting a bright flash.

Thorn's gasp in horror as the light consumed him with tears forming on his eyes, blaze and ice strunggling to fight back the enemies dissapeard next with a shout of desperation.

Solar's voice rang out his brothers name and reaching his hand out before he too dissapeard after the light swallow him whole.

"HALILINTAR! TAUFAN!" Gempa's voice crack as the light too reached him, in those final moments before the light teleport them away, the brothers saw it.

How the enemy lunged at halilintar while pressing a damp towel over his face forcefully, his body jerked as he fought against them.

Nearby him, Taufan was pinned down to the ground harshly with his face being force to lay on the sand, his smile are now replace by a grunt of pain.

"ABANG!" after the word left their mouth the light flash brightly before they dissapeard from the area, leaving halilintar and Taufan alone amidst the enemy's relentless grasp.
