------------------------------------------------------------- The hallway seem rather busy with a group of aliens walking by, their faces blank as they focus on their own task in hand, some stared at their tablets and analyses the data, others carried a stack of papers or a bunch of strange glowing serums, the lights buzzed above and everything felt cold.
Among the crowded hallways where aliens of every shape and form walked with purpose, one figure stood apart from the rest, his presence alone seemed to shift the air around him.
His face was set in a firm expression as his eyes sharp with intent, he moved with steady calculated steps toward a certain room, behind him there are three others followed in close formation, their movements synchronized like shadows bound to his will.
The rhythmic hum of the hallway faded as he approached a door at the end of the corridor, the door slid open with a soft hiss to reveal a sterile dimly lit room, he stepped inside with his underling following him before the door closed behind them with an ominous click.
As the lights flickered to life, a large hologram sprang into existence at the center of the room, the figure on the projection was unmistakable a boy no older than sixteen with haunted eyes and a weary expression that seemed terrifiying, the air felt heavy as the boy's image lingered in the space, vivid and unsettling.
The figure's lips curled upward into a smirk, his gaze never leaving the hologram that seem almost too perfect in his eyes, the soft glow of the display reflected in his eyes but his expression remained unreadable like a predator studying its prey.
With a steady hand, he reached for the tablet that had been left carelessly on the table before him, his fingers brushed the surface before activating the device. The screen flickered to life, revealing rows of data, charts, and files that each one more damning than the last, his eyes scanned them with cold precision.
The silence in the room stretched on, thick with tension as the three aliens behind him stood motionless, waiting for his next move. The man stood tall and unmoving with his presence dominating the sterile room, his yellow eyes flickered across the tablet's screen, scanning the data with an unnerving calm, his lips slowly curled into a tight smirk, satisfaction gleaming in his eyes as he absorbed every detail.
Subject 317, the boy was progressing well and far beyond expectations. A perfect specimen, a product of his own meticulous design.
He set the tablet down with deliberate slowness, the sound of it clicking onto the table too loud in the silence, without haste he reached for the white lab coat draped over a nearby chair, the symbol on it is a mark of his authority, almost like a crown as he slung it over his shoulders.
"Subject 317 is showing remarkable progress" he spoke, his voice heavy with a dark satisfaction, each word dripping with an ominous sense of ownership as his smirk deepened.
He turned to face his underlings, three silent figures standing like statues behind him as they flinched when his gaze swept over them, an almost palpable wave of dread settling in the room.
"Continue with the Quiratan serum injections" he commanded in a voice that leave no argument, the scientists nodded, scribbling down their notes, their faces pale with a fear that only deepened as they obeyed his every word.
"Once you completed that, give him the Selectrocul serum and we move to the next phase" He gave them a moment, the tension in the room suffocating, before raising his hand sharply.
"And what about Subject 468? Any progress?" he asked, his voice suddenly low and dangerous, the tablet was back in his hands before the answer could come as his eyes flicked to the screen and his brows knit in an instant.
The numbers, the warnings, they weren't right. A flood of rage rose within him as the data screamed of failure, the female scientist with her voice trembling spoke with hesitant dread.
"Subject 468... is showing no sign of progress, the serum has failed to integrate and-"
"FAILED?!" His voice cracked like a whip as the word dripping with fury, he didn't even let her finish as the tablet was slammed against the table with such force that the glass cracked under the impact before he stalked toward her.
"I gave you specific instructions!" he snarled while grabbing her by the collar and lifting her off the ground.
"You were supposed to perfect it!" The words came out as a growl, his voice thick with venom, the scientist gasped for air with her face become more pale before she looked into his eyes, those cold merciless eyes.
"Make sure he lives" the man hissed, his grip tightened and lifting her further to the point that her legs kicking helplessly beneath her.
"I don't care if his organs start shutting down, I want him alive, Understood?!" He shoved her away with disgust, her body slamming into the wall with a sickening thud.
She coughed violently while gasping for air but the man's attention had already shifted, cold fury settling in his chest like ice, he turned to the other two scientists, eyes narrowing as he spoke in a voice that could freeze the blood in your veins.
"We can't afford failure" he said quietly while eyeing the two who begin to sweat.
"Not with both of them." His gaze flicked back to the tablet in his hand, his fingers curling around it with a near possessive grip.
"If either of them dies..." He trailed off with his eyes narrowing and let the words hang in the air like a threat, the implication was clear.
"I will make sure you all become my next experiments," he finished coldly, his gaze pierced through them which make all three scientists trembled with their hearts racing in fear, they quickly bowed and scrambled to leave the room.
As they rushed out, the man remained standing by the table, his gaze returning to the hologram of Subject 317 before his eyes softened as his anger dissipating like smoke, only to be replaced by something far more twisted.
He stared at the boy's image, mesmerized by the perfect potential he had created as if the boy was a beautiful deadly masterpiece in the making, his lips curved into a sadistic grin and for a moment, the room seemed to grow colder.
"Soon," he murmured to himself, voice dripping with madness.
"You will be my ultimate weapon..." His voice dropped, filled with dark anticipation.
"HAHHAHAHA!" The man threw his head back with laughter erupting from his chest like a maniac's cackle, filling the room with a deafening sound that sent chills down the spines of anyone who might've heard.
He then left the room with his steps deliberate, the man's mind consumed with dark, twisted thoughts, every detail of the experiments, every piece of data, everything was falling perfectly into place.
For now...

.
In one of the room, there stood a boy with a full set of white clothing, a shock collar visibly resting on his neck with his whole body being a complete mess.
His left eyes melt away and got replace by a terrifiying glowing purple eyes that emit a black goo like liquid that drop once in a while, his whole arm cover with many red mark along with his legs.
A single black horn curved from the right side of his head with a newly develop long black tail that he recently got, on his forehead, a strange symbol shimmered faintly, unknown but ominous.
His fists clenched with his nails digging into his palms as he stared at the white wall of his room, He despised everything about this place as all he ever wanted is to leave this hell hole with his brother and burn it to the ground.
The door of his room swang open that break the heavy silence, revealing two figured that stepped in, one holding a journal with a remote control while the other holding a syringe with a small bottle of weird light orange liquid inside it.
The boy gaze fell on the syringe and his body tensed, he may didn't know what the hell is in that bottle but he knew damn well that liquid are bad news, and he won't let them insert that into his blood stream that easily.
The boy's glowing purple eye narrowed as the two scientists entered his room, his tail twitched and curling slightly behind him, a subtle sign of his rising tension.
He instinctively took a step back with his bare feet sliding against the cold metal floor.
"317" the one with the journal began, her voice firm but cautious.
"Hold still and this won't take long" the other scientist who was holding the syringe filled with the ominous orange liquid stepped closer.
The light from the liquid cast an eerie glow on his face, his smirk making it clear he relished the procedure, but for now, all he could think of is his brother.
"Where is my brother?" He growl at them, his voice hoarse yet laced with venom.
"What have you done to him?" The scienctis ignore his questions and continue to approach him with the syringe.
"317 please cooperate and this will be painless" the man sneered while stepping closer, the boy bared his teeth as anger slowly rise inside his chest.
"Answer me you bastard!" The scientists exchanged glances with their expressions remain cold, the woman spoke first, her tone clipped.
"Your brother's condition is none of your concern, now hold still or- " the woman word got cut off when the boy suddenly stood up from the ground with his sharp glare locking onto her.
"His well being is my concern!" the boy roared as his voice echoing off the metal walls, his tail lashed out without warning and striking the syringe from the man's hand.
The glass shattered on the floor with the orange liquid sizzling as it spread across the surface.
"Damn it!" the male scientist cursed and lunged forward to him but the boy was faster.
He ducked low and ramming his shoulder into the man's stomach with enough force to knock him into the wall, the impact sent a satisfying crack through the air with the man crumpled to the ground groaning in pain.
"317 stand down!" the female scientist barked while raising the remote, but this action only cause the boy's glowing eye narrowed as he stepped toward her, his claws twitching with anticipation.
"Give me my brother, NOW!" The woman fumbled with the remote, her fear evident in her shaking hands as he approach her.
"Your brother is irrelevant, you only exist to-" her sentence end in a scream as the boy claws slashed through the remote.
Sparks flew as the device shattered and her face twisted in horror before she stumbled back while clutching her injured arm, but the boy didn't let up.
"Tell me where he is!" he snarled, grabbing her by the front of her coat, his tail coiled menacingly behind him, ready to strike.
The male scientist recovering from his earlier blow staggered to his feet, blood dripped from his nose as he grabbed a metal rod from the wall and swung it at the boy.
The impact landed on the boy's back and he hissed in pain but didn't release his grip on the woman, Instead he turned with his glowing purple eye blazing with rage.
He grabbed the rod mid swing and yanked it from the man's hands before tossing it across the room with inhuman strength, the woman screamed as the boy's claws pressed against her throat.
"WHERE IS HE?!" he demanded with his voice breaking with clear desperation.
"Let me go!" she spat, her terror are as clear as day.
Something inside the boy snapped with his tail whipped around, striking her side with enough force to send her sprawling to the floor, Her head hit the wall with a sickening thud and she lay still while groaning in pain.
The boy turned to the male scientist, who was scrambling toward another syringe on a nearby table, he didn't make it far when the boy tackled him to the ground with his claws digging into the man's coat.
But before he could strike, a searing jolt of electricity tore through his body, He screamed in pain when his muscles locking as the collar activated.
The female scientist with blood still dripping from her forehead had managed to crawl to a backup remote.
"Turn it off!" the male scientist shouted, gasping for breath at the sudden battle with the subject.
"He will die if-"
"Do you think I care?!" the woman snarled with her finger pressing the button again, the boy collapsed with his vision swimming as pain wracked his body, the woman sneered before lowering the remote as the boy body went limp.
"You're lucky the boss still needs you," she muttered before signaling to her colleague.
"Secure him before he wakes up."

.
.
The operating room was a warzone and Subject 468 was the casualty, he wasn't just losing but he was being consumed alive, every part of him obliterated by the serum raging through his veins.
It coursed like molten lava, setting fire to his nerves, boiling his blood, and tearing apart his muscles from the inside out.
Strapped to the cold unyielding metal table, his body convulsed violently, twisting and writhing as though trying to escape itself, each movement sent the straps digging into his charred skin, their edges slick with blood.
Dark, twisted and pulsating symbols seared themselves into his skin while it glowing with an unnatural malevolent light, they spread like a virus and covering him in grotesque patterns.
His eyes were the worst of it, swirling black voids veined with streaks of crimson, radiating an otherworldly terror, they were eyes that no longer belonged to a human.
His screams shattered the sterile quiet of the room, there were not the cries of a boy, it was the sound of a soul being torn apart, piece by fragile piece.
Every note was raw, agonizing, and relentless, the scientists flinched as the sound reverberated but their hands remained steady, focused not on him but on their work.
His body rebelled against the serum with a force that could not be contained, his skin blackened, cracked, and peeled away, revealing a raw exposed muscle beneath.
Flesh that had once held warmth and life was now a decaying ruin, with every thrash of his body, another part of him fell away.
"We're losing him!" a scientist yelled, his voice sharp and frantic as he struggling to rise above the chaotic alarms and the hum of failing machines.
"Then stabilize him!" the lead scientist snapped and slamming his fist against the console, his face was a mask of fury with his lips curling back in frustration, not fear, not concern.
"Pump more serum in, now!"
"But his body... his body can't take it! If this continue he will-"
"I don't care! Do it!"
Another needle plunged into his neck and delivering yet another wave of the fiery toxin, the serum surged through him and twisting his insides even further, his body arched violently with every muscle locked in excruciating tension.
The room was in complete chaos, straps groaned against his thrashing and the machines beeped their warnings with alarms screeched in discord, and still he screamed, a sound so unearthly it didn't seem human.
The symbols flared brighter, casting grotesque shadows on the walls as his body spasmed, his hands clawed at the air, his nails cracked and bloodied, reaching for something... anything to stop the torment, but there was nothing.
He was utterly alone.
His voice faltered, the screams breaking into shattered gasps, then silence, before finally his body collapsed. His chest rose and fell in shallow, uneven breaths.
Smoke curled from his skin where the symbols dimmed, their light flickering weakly as though they too were on the brink of death, the air was heavy with the acrid stench of burnt flesh, blood, and despair.
The lead scientist exhaled sharply, his frustration giving way to a cold smirk, he leaned over the console with his expression one of detached satisfaction.
"Transport him back to his cell" he commanded, his tone casual and almost sound bored even after all that chaos happening.
"But... he's ... he's stabilized?" an underling asked, his voice trembling as his eyes darted to the broken figure on the table.
"For now" the lead scientist replied, already turning away.
Subject 468 lay motionless, his body a mangled shell of what it had once been, his arms were ravaged and the flesh peeling away in grotesque strips to reveal raw muscle.
His legs twitched faintly as if even in his unconsciousness, his body couldn't find peace.
No one spoke of the boy, no one remembered how healthy and full of lifes his body were before all this torture, to them he was a subject, a tool, a vessel for their ambitions.
And yet, buried beneath the decay, beneath the searing agony and the crawling symbols, something clung to life.
A memory, a whisper of who he used to be.
They didn't notice how his fingers twitched, how the symbols on his chest flared for just a moment, he wasn't gone yet, But what was left?
The boy? Or the monster they were trying to create?
His form was dragged from the table, limp and lifeless in appearance with his head lolling to the side. His blackened eyes stared into the void seeing nothing but holding everything, the terror, the pain, the fear.
And as the doors to the operating room Closed behind him, the walls still echoed with his screams.
.
.
.
.
The door to the shared room slid open with a mechanical hiss, the sound slicing through the heavy silence as two scientists stepped inside, dragging between them was the broken, battered form of Subject 468.
His head lolled forward, his body limp and lifeless, save for the shallow, uneven rise and fall of his chest, the symbols etched into his skin glowed faintly, their malevolent light casting haunting shadows on his decaying flesh. The sight was grotesque, a mockery of the boy he used to be.
Without care or hesitation, the scientists dumped him onto the cold metal floor, the dull thud echoed through the room like the toll of a funeral bell.
Across the room, Subject 317 froze, he had been pacing with his claws flexing nervously as he fought to shake off the lingering pain of his earlier electrocution.
His tail swished behind him, betraying the anxiety that coiled tighter with every passing second, the moment the door opened, he turned sharply with his glowing purple eyes locking onto the crumpled figure on the floor, his breath caught in his throat.
"...No" the sight hit him harder than any of experiment he ever had, his brother... his brother lay in a heap on the floor, barely recognizable.
His skin was charred and peeling, his limbs twisted and unnaturally thin, the glowing symbols that marked his body pulsed weakly as though even they were dying, it was as if someone had ripped his heart out of his chest.
His claws shot out instinctively with his tail lashed behind him and a feral snarl escaped his lips, anger bubbled up, hot and all consuming, drowning out everything else.
"BASTARDS!" he roared, his voice trembling with fury, his glowing eyes burned brighter as he lunged at the scientists, his intent clear.
To tear them apart for what they had done.
But then his gaze flicked back to his brother who are lying motionless on the floor, so small and fragile.
Time seem to slowed down as the anger that fueled him faltered, replaced by something colder and heavier.
Guilt.
His steps wavered and his claws retracted mid stride, the fire in his chest turned to ash as he didn't strike the scientists but Instead, he ran straight to Subject 468.
Dropping to his knees, Subject 317 scooped his brother into his arms, he was so light, too light, his decaying body barely more than bones and fragile skin.
The symbols burned faintly against his hands, searing hot, a cruel reminder of the suffering his brother had endured.
"No... no no no..." The words tumbled from his lips, each one breaking further, his claws trembled as he brushed a hand over Subject 468's face, careful to avoid the patches of rot near his eyes.
"What did they do to you?" subject 468 stirred weakly with his glowing eyes flickering open, they were no longer the bright curious eyes Subject 317 remembered, now they were hollow, dulled by pain and exhaustion, his lips moved but no sound came out at first.
Then after a moment, a broken whisper escaped...
"It... hurts..." The words shattered him, subject 317's breath hitched with his hands tightened around his brother's frail form, pulling him closer as though he could shield him from the agony, his voice cracked when he spoke.
"I'm sorry," he choked out.
"I am so sorry, I wasn't there, i couldn't..." The words strangled in his throat, the guilt suffocating him, one of the scientists stepped forward and being completely indifferent to the scene unfolding before them.
"He's stable for now" he said coldly with their voice devoid of empathy.
"Don't let him overexert himself." subject 317 glared at them with a warning growl rumbling in his chest, causing the scientist to smirked at his attempt, unaffected by it.
"We will retrieve him for the next round of testing soon" they continued, the words snapped something inside subject 317.
His head shot up with his eyes blazing with fury once more, his claws extended as his tail lashed violently behind him.
"The next round?" he growled lowly, his voice a deadly promise.
"You think I'm going to let you touch him again?" the scientist didn't flinch.
"He belongs to us, both of you do." with that, they turned and left before the door sliding shut behind them with an air of finality.
Subject 317 sat frozen, his chest heaving with ragged breaths, his claws dug into his palms as his fury warred with his despair, but when he finally turned his gaze back to Subject 468, his heart broke all over again.
His brother looked so small in his arms, so fragile, the once lively boy who used to laugh and play now lay twisted, his body mutilated beyond recognition with every shallow breath he took rattled painfully, each one a cruel reminder that he was still alive to suffer.
"I am sorry..." The words came out as a whisper, subject 468's lips trembled faintly, but he didn't respond.
He couldn't... His body was too broken, his mind too consumed by pain.
Subject 317 leaned down with his forehead resting gently against his brother's, His eyes burned but no tears fell, he didn't have the luxury of breaking down. Not now.
"I swear" he whispered, his voice filled with venomous resolve.
"I will make them pay, for every ounce of pain they have put you through, I will make them suffer."
His brother's breathing remained shallow, trembling with the remnants of agony. Subject 317 held him tighter, his glowing purple eyes blazing with sorrow and fury.
"They won't touch you again," he vowed, his claws digging into his palms until blood dripped onto the floor.
"Not while I'm here."
.
.
.
.
A week had passed since that horrifying night of unrelenting pain but the memories remained sharp and carved into the silence like scars.
The sterile stillness of the lab hung heavily, broken only by the faint uneven breaths of Subject 468, his brother cradled him close and refusing to let go.
The once mischievous and energetic boy who lit up even the darkest corners now lay fragile and trembling with each shallow breath.
His small frame seemed so breakable, so fragile... like a bird with clipped wings, every rise and fall of his chest was a struggle against the pain etched into his skin.
Subject 317 pressed himself against the cold unyielding wall with his arms wrapped protectively around his brother’s frail body, his glowing purple eyes darted toward the sealed steel door that never lingering too long.
The lab was too quiet... Too still and silence never meant safety.
His jaw clenched as his fingers hovered over the dark pulsating marks burned into 468’s skin, the symbols were alive and a cruel reminders of the torment they had endured.
"You are going to be okay" he whispered, cracking under the weight of his guilt, his brother stirred faintly with his lips parting in a soft pained whimper.
317’s heart twisted sharply, the guilt rising like a tide and threatening to drown him, he slowly dipped his head and pressing his forehead gently against his brother’s with a rare and desperate gesture.
"I promise, you will be okay" he murmured again, as much to himself as to the boy in his arms, but then... the silence shattered like glass.
The ground trembled beneath them violently, throwing cracks across the once pristine walls with the shriek of alarms pierced the air as red lights bathed the room in a pulsing glow, the world around them erupted into chaos.
317’s instincts roared to life as his arms tightened around 468, his tail lashing wildly behind him with his claws extended from his fingers as his glowing eyes narrowed and locking onto the rattling door, whatever was coming, it would have to go through him first.
But then... cutting through the blaring sirens, a voice rang out, desperate and loud.
"WHERE ARE OUR BROTHERS?!"
The words struck him like lightning with his breath caught in his throat, his eyes widening in shock with relief surged through him and washing away the anger and fear.
He knew that voice. He always know that voice.
"That idiot…" he muttered under his breath, a rare faint smile tugging at his lips while his grip on 468 tightened.
"They are here, Upan" another crash shook the lab as the sound of tearing metal reverberated through the walls with the voices grew louder and louder, frantic, angry, determined.
"FIND THEM!"
"WE ARE NOT LEAVING WITHOUT THEM!"
"TAUFAN! HALILINTAR!"
His brothers’ voices, all of them... Each one a lifeline dragging him out of the suffocating despair hole.
Halilintar shifted and adjusting 468... no... Taufan, carefully in his arms, he brushed a trembling hand over his brother’s damp hair with his smile turning bittersweet.
"You hear that, Upan?" he whispered, his voice breaking with relief.
"They found us, they are coming." Taufan’s eyes fluttered but barely able to stay open, his lips parting as if to respond but no sound came, halilintar leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper.
"Just hold on a little longer, okay?" The steel door rattled violently before it bending inward under the force of something or someone on the other side.
Halilintar’s glowing eyes narrowed and preparing himself to defend his brother if he need too.
But he didn’t have to.
With a deafening crash, the door was ripped from its hinges with smoke flowing into the room, halilintar’s eyes searched desperately through it.
And then he saw them.
Figures burst into the room with their faces etched with fury and relief, Taufan’s brothers... His brothers... Their brothers.
"Halilintar! Taufan!"
His brothers stood in the doorway, their faces pale under the harsh, flickering red light of the alarms, and for a long frozen moment, none of them moved.
Blaze was the first to step forward, his usual fiery confidence replaced by a trembling hand that reached out as if afraid the sight before him wasn’t real.
"w...what..." His voice cracked, barely above a whisper, the silence soon shattered when Thorn stumbled forward with a strangled sob, collapsing to his knees.
"What… what did they do to you?" His small frame shook violently as tears poured down his face, ice knelt beside Thorn with his face frozen in shock. His fingers twitched with his jaw tightening as his usually calm expression crumbled.
"They look…" He couldn’t finish his word, his voice trembled with suppressed fury, grief and disbelief.
"This… this isn’t right" blaze couldn’t hold it in any longer, as his body trembled with rage surged through him like an unrelenting storm.
His fists clenched tightly with his knuckles cracking under the pressure and flames sparked faintly at his sides. His fiery eyes locked onto the steel door they had torn apart as if imagining the scientists who dared to do this standing there.
"This is unforgivable" Blaze growled as his entire frame shook with barely contained fury.
"They did this to them." He took a step forward, his hands igniting fully now, flames licking up his arms.
"I will burn them, every last one of them, I will make them pay for what they have done!"
"Blaze" Solar’s voice rang out sharply, cutting through the chaos like a blade.
Blaze stopped mid step and glancing back to see Solar standing firm despite the trembling in his own legs, his silver eyes blazed with uncharacteristic intensity as he faced his older brother’s wrath head on.
"Not now" Solar said, his voice firm but he too holding in the rage that continue to rise in him.
"We will get them later, after we get them out of here" He gestured toward Halilintar and Taufan, both who looked as though a single wrong move might shatter them completely.
Blaze faltered as his flames flickering before extinguishing entirely, his chest heaved with ragged breaths as he looked at Halilintar’s excausted frame and Taufan’s broken body, his anger twisted into something deeper, grief, guilt, helplessness.
"But Solar-"
“Later" Solar repeated while stepping closer and placing a hand on Blaze’s shoulder.
Blaze’s jaw tightened with his teeth gritting so hard it felt like they might crack, but he nodded stiffly, the fight draining out of him as he turned his back on the door.
Gempa stepped forward, his face usually kind and full of warmth was shadowed with pain, his eyes now swept over his brothers and lingering on the dark pulsating marks burned into their skin, on the gaunt hollows of their faces, the trembling body of taufan, and the tireness in halilintar's eyes.
Gempa knelt down in front of them with his own shoulders shaking as he reached out, his hands found Halilintar’s shoulders first, steadying him as tears glistened in his eyes.
Then he gently wrapped his other hand around Taufan’s cold, vulnerable fingers, halilintar’s head tilted slightly toward him, his eyes glassy and dazed.
He opened his mouth to said something but no words came, he didn’t need to speak, gempa understood.
"Let’s go home, brothers" Gempa whispered, his voice trembling but steady, tears rolling down his cheek.
Halilintar froze, the words cutting through the heavy fog clouding his mind. He blinked, his breath hitching as tears blurred his vision. Home. It felt like a dream, so far away.
Taufan stirred weakly in his arms, a faint, almost inaudible whimper escaping his lips. His small fingers twitched in Gempa’s hold, the smallest sign of life.
And for the first time in a while, taufan's lips curve into the faintest smile of relief
The warmth of his brothers’ embrace lingere as relief washed over him like a soothing breeze that numbing the pain, until...
Snap.
A blinding white light seared his senses and ripping him from the illusion of safety, the comforting voices of his siblings vanished as cruel, mechanical laughter filled the air.
Halilintar’s purple eyes snapped open, his chest heaving as he took in the cold sterile lab once more, the agonizing reality crashed down upon him like a tidal wave and the brothers' voices that had brought him hope were gone.
Taufan still lay trembling in his arms, the dark pulsating marks on his frail body glowing faintly, above him, the cold voice of the lead scientist grated through the speaker system, dripping with sadistic amusement.
"Ah, Subject 317, you really thought you were free, didn’t you? That your brothers had come for you?" Halilintar’s body stiffened as his claws dug into the floor while rage flared in his chest.
"It was such a beautiful reunion," the scientist continued mockingly.
"Touching even, but alas is just another test" Halilintar’s glowing eyes darted toward the mirrored wall to his left where he knew they were watching.
"It was so convincing, wasn’t it?" the scientist continued, their voice filled with sadistic glee.
"The way they reached for you, the way they try to take you home, all lies carefully crafted by us" despite not being able to see him, halilintar know that they are now smirking with satisfaction.
"You really thought they found you?"
Halilintar’s claws dug into the cold floor with his entire frame trembling, he bit his lips as his hand carefully wrap tighten around taufan's body.
"You monster…" he finally managed to choke out, his voice trembling with rage and despair, his whole body trembling as he fought to contain the storm of emotions inside him.
"You did this… for your own entertainment!" The scientist’s laugh was cold and merciless.
"Entertainment? Oh Halilintar, this is far more than that, Consider it… research" The voice turned sharp and gleeful.
“But don’t be too disheartened, your brothers truly did try, they came so close.”
A screen flickered to life beside him and displaying a live feed of his brothers, halilintar’s breath caught in his throat as he saw them.
Solar, leading the group with determination in his eyes, Gempa carefully shielding Thorn who got injured despite having a large cut on his hand himself. Beside them, both Blaze and Ice seem furious as they fought back their enemy defense.
"They came for you" the scientist sneered.
"Broke through our defenses, even cornered one of us" the image shifted to show blaze pressing his fire cakram against the throat of a terrified scientist, demanding answers.
And for a fleeting moment, hope flickered in Halilintar’s heart.
But then a burst of smoke filled the screen, the scientist slipped away in the chaos and leaving his brothers coughing and disoriented.
The screen froze on their face which show desperation and frustration etched deeply into their expressions.
“But they failed,” the voice hissed.
“Just like they always will, desperation doesn’t win battles Halilintar and while they are scrambling to recover, you are still here~”
Halilintar stared at the screen, his breathing fast and shallow as the image burned into his mind, a cruel reminder of just how close his brothers had been and how they had been ripped away once again.
His claws dug into the floor once again as his rage boiled over.
"They will come for us, they will never stop and when they find you-"
"They will fail again" the scientist interrupted, cutting him off with an icy laugh.
“But don’t worry Halilintar, we will make sure you are here to watch them fail, over and over again”
"You are a monsters," halilintar growled.
"Perhaps" the scientist replied smoothly.
"But monsters with a purpose, you 317 and your brothers… You are part of something much greater than yourselves, this is entertainment, research, and evolution all in one neat little package"
Taufan whimpered weakly in his arms, snapping Halilintar back to the present, the scientist’s voice softened, mockingly sympathetic.
"Don’t worry, Subject 317, we will let you rest… for now" he pause for a brief moment.
"You will need your strength for the next experiment" the lights in the lab dimmed, leaving Halilintar and Taufan in oppressive silence once more.
Halilintar tightened his hold on his brother as his chest heaved by the cruel reality.
"They will come for us" he whispered, his voice barely audible
"They will" and though the walls of his prison pressed in on him and taufan, Halilintar clung to the faint ember of hope buried deep within his heart.
Maybe one day... He can truly go home
-------------------------------------------------------------
Ello again! You made it to the very end!

Also if you didn't notice, this is actually part two of "you promise!"
Hehehehe, i grant your wish for part 2, but i didnt say it will be a happy ending (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
To be fair, i am gonna leave that one with a happy end but i thought like, why not making it more angsty (ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Ehem! Anyways! I hope all of you enjoy this chapter! (More like being torture-)
And i hope all of you have a lovely day!
