The morning had been peaceful, almost a little too peaceful, the sunlight filtered softly through the curtains with the birds chirped happily outside.
Gempa lay sprawled across his bed, blissfully unaware of the chaos that was about to unfold, his sleep had been perfect, a rare moment of peace for him until his phone buzzed.
Gempa still half asleep lazily reached for it and squinting at the bright screen with his drowsy gaze landed on the clock.
7:55 AM.
His eyes widened, his brain short circuited, and then like lightning, he shot up from bed only to be immediately betrayed by his blanket that wrapped tightly around his legs as he toppled to the hard floor with a loud thud.
"GAH!" Gempa yelped, he barely had time to recover before his flailing arm smacked into the stack of books on his bedside table which cause the books to tumbled down with one of it hitting him squarely on the head.
"Ow! Who even put this there?!" he groaned, rubbing the sore spot on his head before scrambled to his feet, only to stub his toe against the corner of the bedframe.
"ouch ouch ouch!" he hissed while hopping on one foot.
It didn't stop there, while trying to free himself from the blanket, he stepped on a pen and slipped backward, his feet slid out from under him and he crashed into the wardrobe with the doors banged open
Sending a rain of clothes and hangers onto his head, the chaos cause blaze to stirred slightly in the living room, muttering in his sleep.
"Five more minutes..." he said before rolling over, taufan's snores remained steady, completely oblivious to the chaos.
Gempa after finally managed to untangle himself, bolted toward the bathroom, but as he was about to reached for the doorknob, his foot slipped on the tiled floor and he went down with a loud THUD, landing flat on his back.
"Oww..." he groaned while staring at the ceiling.
He scrambled to his feet again, went inside the bathroom and brushed his teeth at lightning speed but when he spat into the sink, the water splashed back onto his shirt.
"What's happening today?!" He grabbed a towel, trying to wipe the stain but it only smeared the toothpaste further, after trying for a second, he gave up and ran back to his room to grab a new shirt.
His eyes land on the clock that ticked mercilessly.
7:59 AM.
Gempa threw on his shoes, snatched his bag, and bolted out of the house, as he dashed past the living room, he glanced back at Blaze and Taufan who were still sprawled on the couch, sleeping like babies.
"Must be nice to have class at 10," he grumbled under his breath before stepping outside.
His foot immediately landed in a puddle of water from last night's rain, he stopped and stared at his now soaked shoe and sighed.
"It's okay... It's fine" he whispered to himself, trying to stay calm as he begin to ran to the bus stop as fast as he could, ignoring the squish squish sound of his wet socks but when he just arrived, he saw the bus door closing.
"No! Wait!" Gempa shouted while waving his arms wildly, he sprinted forward with his bag bouncing on his back and threw himself forward before he smacked the side of the bus, the driver fortunately noticed him and opened the door
"thank you" Gempa panted, climbing in and wiping the sweat from his face.
The bus was packed as he grabbed a pole to steady himself while trying to ignore the discomfort of his damp socks. But as the bus jerked forward, he lost balance and bumped into someone's bag, causing the person to shot him a sharp glare.
"Sorry" Gempa said quietly, avoiding eye contact.
Just as he was starting to zone out, he felt something... Or rather someone staring at him, he turn his head slightly and noticed a young mother standing nearby with her baby cradled in her arms.
The baby with wide curious eyes and a mischievous grin was staring directly at him which cause gempa to smiled awkwardly.
"Uh, hi?" The baby giggled in response, their tiny hands wiggling excitedly, gempa smiled faintly and turned his attention back to the front, hoping the baby would lose interest.
But that wasn't the case.
Without warning, the baby reached out with surprising speed and grabbed a fistful of his hair before yanking it hard.
"OW!" Gempa yelped with his head snapping sideways as the baby tugged with all their might while the mother gasped in horror.
"Oh no! Sweetie, let go of his hair!" Gempa tried to laugh it off even as his scalp throbbed.
"It's okay! It's fine!" he said, attempting to gently pry the baby's hand away, the baby however thought his struggle was the funniest thing in the world as they let out a loud bubbly giggle and yanked even harder.
"OWW! okay, not fine not fine!" Gempa hissed, trying to loosen the baby's iron grip, the more he tried to free himself, the harder the baby tugged.
"I am so sorry!" the mother said, frantically trying to untangle her child's tiny fingers.
"Let go sweetie! That's not nice!" The baby only giggled louder, clearly amused by Gempa's increasingly panicked expression, his attempts to free himself only made the baby giggle and tug harder causing Gempa to wince.
"Yup, definitely not fine!" he muttered, biting his lip to keep himself from crying out again, after what felt like an eternity, the mother finally managed to pry her child's hand away, looking mortified.
"I am so so sorry! Are you okay?" Gempa straightened up with his scalp still stinging, he ran a hand through his hair which was now sticking up in wild tufts.
"It's fine ma'am" he said while forcing a smile with his voice lacked conviction, the baby waved a tiny hand at him, giggling like they had just won a great battle.
Gempa offered a weak wave in return before turning back to the front of the bus, making sure that his hair are out of the baby reach and silently prayed the ride would end soon
His patience hanging by a thread, so when the bus finally reached his stop, Gempa practically leapt out while muttering,
"If this isn't the worst morning of my life, I don't want to know what is" he trudged toward his class while adjusted his bag and sighed.
"At least the baby had a good time" he muttered before gently massaging his still hurting scalp.

.
.
Gempa dashed through the school gates just as the bell rang, his breath coming in short gasps while he was soaked in sweat, his shoes squished with every step, and his hair still looked like it had survived a hurricane, but he had made it.
"Right on time" he muttered to himself, though his legs felt like jelly.
He hurried to his classroom, dropped into his seat, and took a moment to catch his breath. His classmates greeted him, some with surprise at his disheveled appearance.
"Rough morning?" one of them asked.
"You don't even know the half of it" Gempa grumbled, pulling out his notebook and trying to compose himself.
The teacher entered the classroom and the chatter died down, gempa let out a sigh of relief, thinking he could finally settle into a normal rhythm, that illusion shattered when the teacher spoke.
"Alright, class, hand in your homework from yesterday" gempa froze with his eyes widened in horror as he mentally retraced his steps.
The notebook with his homework... it was still on his desk at home!
"Gempa?" the teacher's voice broke his spiraling thoughts.
"Where's your homework?" The entire class turned to stare at him.
"I... uh..." Gempa stammered, his face heating up.
"I forgot it at home" A collective gasp rippled through the room.
"Wait, Gempa forgot his homework?"
"The student council president?"
"Is he feeling okay?" Even the teacher looked stunned, her eyebrows shooting up.
"You... forgot? That's unlike you Gempa" Gempa swallowed hard, wanting to disappear into the floor.
"I am really sorry Ma'am, it won't happen again" The teacher sighed, though there was genuine concern in her eyes.
"You are usually very diligent but rules are rules, as punishment, you will stay after school to clean the classroom"
"Understood" Gempa said quietly, his head hanging low, the whispers around him didn't stop as the lesson continued, gempa tried to focus but his embarrassment gnawed at him.
Things only went downhill from there, as student council president, Gempa had a packed schedule. During lunch, he was called to mediate an argument between two clubs over a double booked room.
The debate lasted an hour, filled with raised voices and stubborn egos and by the time Gempa managed to resolve the issue, his lunch break was over, and his stomach growled angrily.
Then came the mishap with the AV equipment, while setting up for an afternoon assembly, the projector malfunctioned, and Gempa accidentally knocked over a speaker.
The loud thud echoed through the auditorium, drawing everyone's attention.
"Nice one President," someone muttered.
As if that wasn't enough, a junior came running up to him during recess with tears streaming down their face, their project board for a science fair had been ruined by spilled water.
Gempa helped them redo the board with whatever materials they could find, which meant skipping yet another meal break.
By the time school ended, Gempa was exhausted, his stomach felt like it was tying itself into knots, his head throbbed, and his shoes were still damp.
He stayed back to clean the classroom as punishment, scrubbing desks and sweeping floors while his classmates went home.
Just as he finished cleaning and was about to leave, a group of girls intercepted him at the school gates.
"Gempa! Gempa!" one of them called out excitedly, he stopped while blinking in surprise.
"Uh, yes?" He ask while looking at them with clear confusion.
"Can you give us Halilintar's number? Or Solar's?" another girl asked, eyes sparkling with anticipation, gempa's tired brain took a moment to process, his brothers, of course.
"Sorry, I can't give out their numbers" he said politely.
"Aw, come on!" they protested, but Gempa firmly shook his head, as they walked away, disappointed, Gempa realized something odd, he hadn't seen Halilintar or Solar all day.
"Where are those two?" he muttered to himself.
Then he remembered, Halilintar had a karate competition and Solar was at a science competition, they left the house early in the morning which cause him to sighed.
But then another thought struck him.
"Wait... Ice and Thorn didn't come home last night either..." His brows furrowed in concern before he remember.
Ice and Thorn had mentioned staying at a friend's house for a project and when they called to ask permission, he, Taufan, and Halilintar had agreed, but now he couldn't help but worry.
He groaned, dragging himself toward the bus stop, as he waited for the bus, his phone buzzed, it was a text from Blaze.
"Mama gem, there's no food left at home. Bring something back, okay? Thx~"
Gempa stared at the message in disbelief before reply quickly to his brothers.
"Okay, and stop calling me mama"
"Of course, why not?" His stomach growled in agreement, reminding him that he hadn't eaten since morning.
By the time he arrived at the supermarket, the sun was already beginning to set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, as he walked through the sliding doors, the cool air conditioned breeze greeted him.
"All of them should be home by now" He thought to himself while grabbing a basket.
He weaved through the aisles, picking out vegetables, chicken, rice, eggs, and even a small carton of milk for Thorn, knowing that their second youngest always loved a warm glass before bed.
He smiled faintly at the thought of everyone eating together, the chaos of the day almost forgotten.
Just as he made his way to the checkout line, the universe decided to remind him that peace was a luxury he wasn’t allowed.
A man in a suit casually cut the line right in front of him, causing gempa to blinked in disbelief.
"Uh, excuse me, sir?" he said, forcing his tone to remain polite.
"I think the line starts back there" The man turned to glance at him, completely unfazed.
"I am in a rush" he said simply, dismissing Gempa with a wave before turning back to his phone.
Gempa felt his already thin patience starting to fray, he took a deep breath and reminding himself that it wasn’t worth it.
"It’s fine, It’s fine" he muttered under his breath, but apparently, the universe wasn’t done yet.
As the line inched forward, a woman with perfectly styled hair and an attitude that could only be described as Karen energy stepped into view, her cart was overflowing with items, and her sharp gaze landed squarely on Gempa.
"Excuse me, young man" she said with her voice dripping with a mix of fake politeness and underlying accusation.
"You bumped into my cart earlier" Gempa frowned and confused, he had no recollection of bumping into anyone.
"I am sorry ma’am, but I don’t think-"
"Don’t you talk back to me!" she snapped, her voice raising an octave.
"Kids these days have no manners! Do you even know how to apologize properly?" Several heads in the checkout line turned to watch the unfolding drama while gempa can felt his anger rising as the woman continued her tirade.
"I didn’t bump into your cart" he said firmly, though his voice shook slightly.
"I been standing here the whole time"
“Oh, so now you are calling me a liar?" she hissed while narrowing her eyes, gempa opened his mouth to respond but before he could, the cashier who had clearly seen enough intervened.
"Ma’am please calm down, Let’s keep the line moving" the Karen huffed before glaring daggers at Gempa one last time before storming off with her cart, muttering something about disrespectful youth which cause gempa to exhaled sharply, his nerves frayed.
"Why is everything out to get me today?" he mumbled, stepping forward to finally pay for his items.
By the time he left the store, the sky had turned dark and his body felt like it weighed a ton, his bag of groceries hung heavy in his hand but he couldn’t help feeling a small flicker of relief knowing that he managed to buy everything he needed.
.
.
.
.
.
Gempa had just reached the front door, his arms full of groceries as he could almost feel the warm, familiar atmosphere of home waiting for him.
His brothers laughing, some teasing, and most importantly, a meal to end the day on a good note, he happily unlocked the door and called out.
"I am home" as he stepped inside, he was ready for a cheerful reception but he was greeted by a cold splash of water across his face instead.
Gempa froze, eyes wide with his groceries almost slipping from his hand, he stood there for a moment with water dripping from his hair and clothes.
Blaze stood at the far end of the living room, holding an empty bucket in his hand with his eyes widened as he realized what had just happened.
"Gempa! I- uh!" Blaze stammered, his grin faltering, gempa lowered his head slowly, water dripping off the tip of his hair.
The moment felt too surreal to process, he couldn’t even be angry, he just stood there, completely still.
Blaze noticing the awkward silence scratched the back of his head nervously.
"Uh... I was just trying to splash Taufan because he was being all smug about something, so I thought I- uh... get him back a little. But… well, you know…"
Gempa remained silent, his shoulders slumped as he just let the water drip off him, he had expected so much more, he had looked forward to a nice homecoming and some peace But instead, he had become the unwitting target of Blaze’s prank.
"I- uh…" Blaze stammered, walking closer with an apologetic look.
"I am sorry Gempa, really! I didn’t mean to splash you…"
Halilintar and Thorn emerged from the kitchen, drawn by the sound of water splashing before their eyes landed on Gempa who stood drenched from head to toe, looking utterly defeated.
Blaze still holding a bucket of water tried to explain himself but his words felt empty against the weight of Gempa's silence before slowly looked up with his face half covered by wet strands of hair, his voice came out quieter than usual.
"I... Will just clean myself up" He didn’t look angry, just... defeated, he even left the groceries bag on the floor as he begin to walk away.
"Gempa i -" Blaze began but Gempa just stared at him for a moment, before walking past the group without a word, his steps were heavy, each one carrying a sense of unspoken frustration.
Taufan who had been standing nearby, felt a pang of guilt as he watched Gempa pass by, he opened his mouth to say something but his voice caught in his throat, halilintar sensing something was off called out to Gempa.
"Gempa" he shouted, but the younger brother didn’t even glance back, the silence that followed was deafening and Halilintar's chest tightened with worry.
Gempa didn’t stop as he passed Ice and Solar who had just come down the stairs, the two younger brothers noticed the gloomy expression on Gempa’s face and exchanged worried glances.
Ice’s usual calm demeanor was replaced with concern, while Solar’s eyes were filled with confusion and a hint of worried.
"What's going on with him?" Solar asked softly, his voice laced with uncertainty.
Before anyone could answer, a loud slam echoed from the direction of Gempa’s bedroom, followed by the unmistakable sound of frustration.
Halilintar and Taufan exchanged a glance as they watch the scene unfolded, taufan sighed and turn toward their younger siblings who looking uncertain
"You four make something to eat, okay?" Taufan said gently but firmly.
"We will check on him" The younger ones nodded hesitantly as both Taufan and Halilintar headed upstairs together, as they reached Gempa’s door, Halilintar stopped and knocked lightly.
"Gempa?" he called out with his voice steady but tinged with concern, no response, taufan frowned before leaning closer to the door.
"Hey it’s us, can we come in?"
Still nothing.
Halilintar’s jaw tightened and he exchanged another glance with Taufan who nodded silently, halilintar knocked again, firmer this time.
"Gempa, open the door" After a long pause the door finally creaked open, Gempa stood there with his face pale, his eyes red and puffy like he been crying, his lips pressed together tightly but his expression betrayed how close he was to breaking down completely.
Halilintar and Taufan froze for a moment, unsure how to respond as it wasn’t often they saw Gempa like this, usually so composed and always the one reassuring others.
"Gempa…" Taufan started softly, but he didn’t know what else to say.
"I am fine" Gempa mumbled, his voice barely above a whisper but the way his eyes darted away told a different story, halilintar reached out, his hand resting lightly on Gempa’s shoulder.
"Let’s sit and talk, okay?" he said calmly, gempa hesitated before gave the faintest nod and stepping back to let them in.
The two older brothers were immediately struck by the state of his room, normally tidy and organized was now in complete mess, clothes were scattered on the floor, his desk was a cluttered mess of papers and books, and even his usually pristine bed was unmade.
Halilintar and Taufan exchanged a quick glance with their worry deepening, this wasn’t like Gempa at all.
Gempa sat down on the edge of his bed, his shoulders slumping forward as if the weight of the entire day was pressing down on him, his hands rested limply on his lap, his gaze fixed on the floor.
Taufan didn’t hesitate as he walked over and crouched in front of Gempa before gently took one of his hands.
"Hey" he said softly, his thumb brushing over the back of Gempa’s hand in a comforting gesture.
The moment their hands touched, Gempa’s face tightened, his lips quivered as he tried to hold himself together, his eyes darting away to avoid looking at either of them.
His breathing grew shallow and his jaw clenched in a clear effort to keep the tears at bay.
"It’s okay" Taufan said, his voice calm and steady.
"You don’t have to say anything if you don’t want to" Halilintar standing nearby crossed his arms and leaned slightly against the wall, his sharp eyes scanning the room before landing back on Gempa.
"We are listening when you are ready" he added, his tone softer than usual.
Gempa shook his head with a small frustrated sound escaping his throat, he tried to pull his hand back, but Taufan held on firmly yet gently.
"Let it out tanah" Taufan encouraged, gempa’s face crumpled as he sucked in a shaky breath, and for a moment it seemed like he might still try to fight it.
But the tightness in his chest, the exhaustion from the day, and the comforting presence of his brothers became too much.
A single tear rolled down his cheek and then another, until the dam broke, he covered his face with his free hand as quiet sobs wracked his shoulders.
Taufan immediately moved to sit beside him and wrapping an arm around Gempa’s shoulders, halilintar approached as well, sitting on the other side of the bed, he didn’t say anything but his hand came to rest reassuringly on Gempa’s back.
Gempa sat on the edge of his bed, his entire body trembling with his lips parted but no words came out, only the sound of a choked sob, his head hung low, tears dripping steadily onto his lap.
"I… I woke up late" he finally whispered, his voice so broken that it sent a pang through both Halilintar and Taufan, he hiccupped with his breath hitching painfully as he tried to continue.
"And then… I f-fell… twice, and I-" His voice cracked and he broke into a stuttered sob, clutching his knees tightly.
Taufan frown deeply as his warm hand gently wrapping around Gempa’s shaking one.
"Take your time" he said softly, gempa sniffled while blinking rapidly as tears blurred his vision.
"I… I slipped" he sobbed, his words faltering as he hiccupped again.
"A-and my wardrobe… it fell over! Clothes… everywhere!" His voice rose in a mix of frustration and despair.
"I couldn’t even… even clean it up properly!” halilintar who sat beside him filled with concern, he stayed silent, his usual composed demeanor softening as he saw his brother unravel, gempa let out a shaky breath and continued, his voice cracking with every word.
"Th-then… my shoes—soaked from a puddle! A stupid puddle!" He wiped furiously at his tears with his hand trembling.
"And a b-baby…” He paused, his face crumpling again as he let out another sob.
"She pulled my hair! Like it was some kind of toy!" Halilintar’s jaw tightened and he exchanged a glance with Taufan who was listening intently.
"And… and I forgot my homework," Gempa cried, his voice trembling.
"I got punished for it, In front of everyone!" Taufan squeezed his hand gently, his heart breaking at how fragile Gempa sounded as his voice grew louder with his frustration spilling out.
"I had so much work! So much! Student council meetings… helping everyone! I didn’t even have time to eat!" His voice cracked as he dissolved into sobs again, his shoulders shaking uncontrollably.
"I… I skipped lunch, I haven’t eaten since breakfast!" Halilintar’s hand hovered over Gempa’s shoulder before he finally placed it there, grounding his brother, gempa looked up at them with his tear streaked face filled with anguish.
"And then… someone decided to cut the line" he sniffled with his hands aggresively wipe his tears.
"And then... A woman accuse me for something i didn't do!" He yell as both halilintar and Taufan frown at his brothers misfortune day.
"Then I came home…" His voice dropped to a whisper, raw and broken.
"I just wanted… dinner, something nice, Something to make it better" he hiccupped, his chest heaving as he tried to finish.
"But… Blaze… he-" His voice faltered completely and he dissolved into sobs, clutching his chest like he was trying to hold himself together.
Halilintar’s eyes softened as he watched his younger brother break down completely and for a moment, he hesitated, this wasn’t something he usually did but then, without a word, he reached out and pulled Gempa into his chest.
Gempa stiffened at first, surprised by the sudden gesture but the warmth and solidity of Halilintar’s embrace broke through his defenses
He let out a guttural sob, burying his face in Halilintar’s chest as his hands clung desperately to his older brother’s shirt.
"I-I can’t take it anymore!" Gempa wailed, his voice muffled against Halilintar’s chest.
"I am so tired! I am so… tired…” His sobs grew louder, more heart wrenching as he finally let himself release all the frustration and pain he had been carrying.
Halilintar’s hand rested on the back of Gempa’s head, his fingers threading gently through his damp hair.
"Let it out" he murmured, his voice low and steady.
"Just let it all out tanah, we are here" Taufan sat beside them, his hand resting lightly on Gempa’s back as his brother cried harder, each sob shaking his entire body.
"You been through too much today" Taufan said gently.
"You don’t have to keep holding it all in" Gempa clung tighter to Halilintar, his tears soaking into his brother’s shirt as he hiccupped and sobbed, his words broken and barely coherent.
"I j-just… wanted… it to be o-okay…”
"And it will be" Halilintar said firmly, his hand never leaving Gempa’s head.
"We are here tanah" Taufan added, his voice soft but resolute.
Gempa cried harder at their words, the weight of the day slowly lifting as he let himself be vulnerable in their arms, for once, he didn’t feel like he had to carry everything alone.
For once, he let himself fall apart, knowing they would catch him, halilintar tightened his hold, his voice surprisingly gentle.
"We got you tanah, no matter what" Gempa’s sobs gradually softened, his breathing still uneven as he finally pulled back slightly, his face still streaked with tears.
"Th-thank you…" he whispered, his voice hoarse but genuine which cause halilintar to gave a faint rare smile.
"That’s what we are here for" Taufan said softly, ruffling Gempa’s damp hair with a grin before leaning in and planting a big, exaggerated kiss on Gempa’s cheek.
"See? All better now!" Taufan declared dramatically, earning a watery laugh from Gempa, halilintar raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms as he watched Taufan.
"Do you have to be so over the top?" he muttered, his tone sharp but lacking the usual bite which cause taufan to grinned mischievously.
"Of course! Now it’s your turn!" Halilintar froze, his sharp eyes narrowing slightly.
"No, Absolutely not" Taufan smirked, leaning in conspiratorially toward Gempa.
"You know, Halilintar’s kisses are super rare, If he gives you one, it means you are really special" he whisper to gempa's ears but he clearly said it loud enough for halilintar to hear.
"Stop it Taufan" Halilintar warned, but the tips of his ears turned suspiciously red.
"Come on big brother" Taufan teased, his grin growing wider.
"Don’t be shy!" Gempa despite his exhaustion let out a small chuckle, his watery eyes watching the exchange.
"It’s okay, you don’t have to-" Before Gempa could finish, Halilintar darted forward with a speed that lived up to his name. He planted the quickest, lightest kiss on Gempa’s forehead and pulled back so fast it was almost like it hadn’t happened at all.
"There" Halilintar grumbled, looking anywhere but at his brothers, his arms crossed tightly with his face as red as a tomato.
For a moment, there was stunned silence before it was broken when Taufan burst out laughing, nearly doubling over.
"What was that? Did anyone even see it? Was it a kiss or a lightning strike?" Gempa let out a genuine laugh, his chest feeling lighter for the first time all day, even Halilintar’s stern expression softened slightly as he caught the sound of Gempa’s laughter.
"Enough" Halilintar said, his tone still gruff but his red face betray him.
"Let’s clean up and eat, Blaze is probably dying of guilt downstairs." Taufan wiped a fake tear from his eye, still chuckling.
"Fine fine, but don’t think I am letting this go, that was adorable" Halilintar shot him a glare, but Gempa only laughed harder, his exhaustion momentarily forgotten as his brothers’ antics filled the room with warmth.
At least he know that he have his brother to back him up when he was at his lowest, even if the world against him.

Bonus!
As the three brothers headed downstairs, they found Blaze pacing back and forth in the living room, his face pale and his hair more disheveled than usual.
The moment he saw Gempa, he immedietly darted forward, practically sliding on his knees in front of him.
"Mama gem gem! I am so sorry! I didn’t mean it! I didn’t think! I was stupid- No, I was worse than stupid!"
"You are" Ice cut in flatly from the couch, where he was sprawled with a book in hand, he didn’t even glance up as he added.
"You are a complete moron"
"Exactly!" Blaze exclaimed, somehow taking the insult as encouragement.
"I am a complete moron, I don’t deserve your forgiveness! But Please please forgive me! I will do anything to make it up to you!" He pause to take a deep breath before continue again.
"I will cook for you for a week! I will clean your shoes with my bare hands! I will even- " He paused, looking around frantically as if searching for something that could demonstrate his sincerity.
"I will iron your clothes every day for a month!" Taufan who had been watching the scene with barely contained amusement snorted and slapped a hand to his face.
"Blaze really? You iron? You? You will iron clothes? You can’t even heat up a bowl of soup without turning it into a fire hazard!" Blaze looked up at Taufan with a desperate glint in his eye.
"I can do it!, I will learn! I will… I will…!" Gempa raised an eyebrow, trying not to laugh.
"Blaze, do you even know how to cook?"
"Of course I do!" Blaze shouted back, then his voice faltered.
"Well… sort of, Okay maybe not but I can make ramen!" He confidently said before he pause for a moment.
"Uh... kinda? If you don’t mind it being… a little… charred"
"Charred?" Solar muttered, rolling his eyes.
"You set water on fire last time Blaze, Water!" Blaze’s face turned red with embarrassment but he quickly recovered as he now kneeling dramatically in front of Gempa.
"I promise I will do anything! You need help with laundry? I will do it! But don’t expect me to fold clothes neatly… or you know-" He threw his hands in the air, clearly defeated.
"I can’t iron, i will set your clothes on fire! But I will try! Just... Please forgive me!" Ice shot him a deadpan look.
"Blaze you are a walking disaster, you will probably ruin the ironing board before you even get started." Taufan chuckled at the comment.
"At this point, i will rather do the ironing myself but you keep begging like this and just making it worse" Solar who had been quietly watching the spectacle, sighed and shook his head.
"I am getting second hand embarrassment just watching this Blaze, you really should just stop while you are ahead" Blaze’s face dropped dramatically, eyes wide and pleading as he turned back to Gempa.
"Gempa, I will even stop eating all the snack! I will starve myself just please, don’t hold this against me!" Gempa still holding in his laughter, finally managed to speak, his voice soft and gentle.
"Blaze stop, just stop, You are not going to starve yourself okay? I forgive you, alright? It’s fine" Blaze froze, his body trembling as if he just been given a second chance at life, his lips quivered with relief.
"Really? You forgive me?"
"Yes Blaze" Gempa said with a small smile.
"But next time, maybe just think before you act, Please?" Blaze let out an exaggerated sigh of relief, collapsing to the floor with a loud thud as though he just been granted a pardon from the highest court.
"Oh, thank goodness! I thought I was done for!"
"Yeah you were," Taufan muttered, shaking his head and crossing his arms.
"But I gotta admit, this was a pretty good show, I haven’t seen anyone make a fool of themselves this badly in ages" he said while he grab some popcorn that thorn have been silently munching from the side.
Halilintar who had been observing from the corner of the room, finally spoke up while rolling his eyes.
"Blaze, you are lucky we are even letting you off the hook, seriously" Ice turned the page of his book, not even sparing Blaze another glance.
"And don’t even think about ironing my clothes, if you do, I will gladly burn you first" Blaze let out a nervous laugh, clearly not wanting to test Ice’s threat.
"Understood… no ironing" Gempa chuckled and shook his head.
"Just don't cause any trouble alright?" Blaze nodded vigorously, his eyes shining with relief.
"Thank you! I promise, I won’t mess anything up again!" Solar still holding his head in his hands, groaned in embarrassment.
"I am never living this down, am I?" Taufan smirked at his word before swinging his arms over their youngest shoulder.
"Nope Not a chance"
