Lucy's pov:

As a beautiful sunset pierces through the evening sky. Snow covers the ground in North Dakota. The place we decided to elope. I walk down the "aisle" with my arm locked with Sgt Gray. The only father like figure in my life. With Tamara as my Maid of Honor and Genny as Tim's Best Woman and the Minister. Just the 6 of us stand on a snow capped mountain top under a flower decorated arch. I smiled at Tim and he returns it and looks down at my white elegant dress with lace sleeves.

Tim) "W-wow...You're stunning.."

I mouthed a thanks to him and we both looked at the Minister

Minister) "We are gathered here today to witness the union of Timothy and Lucy. We're glad to have you few here with us. Today is the beginning of a remarkable journey for this couple. Drawing on their mutual admiration, respect, and trust, they are ready to embark on the next chapter in their lives. We celebrate the love and light evident in their relationship, and wish them well on this joyous occasion. Who gives this Bride today?"

Sgt Gray) "I and all her family at Mid Wilshire do."

I smile thinking about all of my family and how they are all so different yet all so amazing.

I stand in front of Tim with my hand holding his.

Minister) "Marriage is an integral part of the human tradition. Let us remember, as we stand here before God, that the vows taken today hold great importance, just as they did to our ancestors. As individuals, we make the choice to enter the union of marriage in order to share all aspects of ourselves with our soulmate. Today, this is true for Tim and Lucy.

As the Bible reminds us in Corinthians, "If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing."

Tim's pov: How is this really happening? This feels so unreal. I'm so undeserving of this woman yet she loves me anyway and I'm marrying her in a few minutes...

Minister) "Under the eyes of God, together we take a moment to acknowledge the seriousness of the commitment being entered into today. With great joy, we also recognize the special bond shared by Timothy and Lucy.

The Bible makes note of the power of partnership in Ecclesiastes. It reminds us that "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone?"

Minister) "I will now invite the couple to share their vows with one another. Tim and Lucy, the promises you make today are sacred; they are the groundwork from which your marriage will grow and blossom over time.

Timothy, would you like to begin first?"

I gaze into her bright brown eyes that are filled with love

Tim) "Lucy, If day 1 Lucy and Tim could see us now...(I chuckled). You brought me out of a very dark pit I was in and for that I am forever grateful. You are my rock. My love. And the one I wanna spend forever with. You are the most beautiful woman to me and I promise to always be here for you. When you're healthy, when you're sick. In the highs and lows. I will honor you. For all that you are, were and will be. When I drive you insane.. Thank you for still choosing me. I promise to love you and choose you for as long as I live. You have my heart and my home forever... For as long as we live...To whatever end...I love you."

I look up and Lucy has tears in her eyes.

Minister) "Lucy, you may say your vows now."

Lucy) Tim, You always brought out the best in me..I never wanted to admit it until other people noticed but I was always my happiest when I was around you. You are my rock. My love. And the one I wanna spend forever with. You are the most handsome man to me and I promise to always be here for you. When you're healthy, when you're sick. In the highs and lows. I will honor you. For all that you are, were and will be. When I drive you insane.. Thank you for still choosing me. I promise to love you and choose you for as long as I live. You have my heart and my home forever... For as long as we live...To whatever end...I love you."

Lucy and I hold each other's hands tighter

Minister) "Timothy, before your family and friends, do you take Lucy as your beloved Wife, to have and to hold, through laughter and in sadness, through challenges and successes, so long as you both shall live?"

Tim) "I do."

Minister) "Lucy, before your family and friends, do you take Timothy as your beloved Husband, to have and to hold, through laughter and in sadness, through challenges and successes, so long as you both shall live?

Lucy) "I do." ——————————————————

Minister) "Tim and Lucy, today we've had the great pleasure of witnessing your union become official. As a symbol of your bond, you will now light a unity candle – the flame of which is emblematic of your two souls coming together as one."

The Minister hands us both candles that have been lit by Tamara and Genny and we light the big one in the middle as now 2 have become one flame that can never die out.

The Best Woman hands Lucy's ring to me

Minister) "Timothy, please place the ring on Lucy's left ring finger while repeating me."

Tim) "I, Timothy, present you, Lucy, with this ring as a symbol of our everlasting love. Let it never lose its luster, just as my love for you will never fade."

I slide the ring on her finger and it fits perfectly and looks so right.

The Maid of Honor hands my ring to Lucy

Minister) "Lucy, please place the ring on Tim's left ring finger while repeating me."

Lucy) "I, Lucy, present you, Timothy, with this ring as a symbol of our everlasting love. Let it never lose its luster, just as my love for you will never fade."

Minister) "Tim and Lucy, by the power vested in me by the Universal Life Church and by the state of North Dakota, under the eyes of God, I happily pronounce you Husband and Wife! —————————————————— Lucy's pov:

I can't stop smiling!

Minister) "Tim, you may now kiss your-

Tim rushes into my arms, holds my face and kisses me as I kiss him back.

Gray, Tamara and Genny all bust out in applause and have the biggest grins on their faces.

Minister) "Ladies and gentleman, for the first time, I give you Mr. and Mrs. Bradford !!"

Everyone claps again and Tim dips me in a sweet kiss while snow begins to fall.

It felt like a scene from a movie. It was the greatest thing I've ever experienced... ——————————————————

Since there was only 6 of us at the wedding we left in Tim's truck back to our hotel room to honeymoon in North Dakota while the others went home. As we would have a big celebration in a few months.

As we walked into our hotel room. I pulled Tim closer and kissed him. He smiled unto his kiss back

We both lay on the bed exhausted but after a quick 10 min nap Tim pulled me up

Tim) "How are we married already? Time flies."

I nodded

Lucy) "I'm so glad you let me in..." I said as I looked and put my hand over his heart

He put his hand over mine that was on his heart.

He had a tear fall down his eye that I wiped away

Tim) "Thank you for coming into my heart...when no one else would..."

I put my hands on the sides of his face

Lucy) "...Always my love..." ——————————————————
