"i'm so exited." aniyah said to her close friend notti as they walked inside his house. she was gonna be making a basket for his brother, also her bestfriend from childhood

he had been going through a lot, so she wanted to be supportive. she loved her bestfriend dearly, and wanted to always make sure he was straight no matter what.

"he finna be geeked." notti said to aniyah as she laughed before nodding agreeing. "hopefully, i'm putting my all into this basket with his big headed ass." aniyah said as notti laughed.

"alright cmon." notti said as him and aniyah went over to the table to fix the basket. "cmon notti we gotta hurry, what if he comes downstairs." aniyah said expressing her worries as notti shook his head quickly.

"he prolly sleep anyway, lets just hurry." notti said as aniyah nodded. the two then got to work on the basket trying to hurry as fast as they could.

around 10 minutes later the two finally got finished as they examined the basket. "this pain." notti said as aniyah nodded agreeing.

"okay let's finally take it to him." aniyah said grabbing the basket as notti followed her upstairs.

the two stopped infront of dd's door as aniyah knocked lightly. she heard a faint come in as her and notti walked inside the room.

"dd! we made you a-." aniyah said, but her words were caught in her throat, and her breath was hitched right from the sight infront of her.

she saw a girl laying on top of dd sleeping, and he put a finger up to his mouth hinting aniyah to be quiet.

"shh, she sleep." dd said as aniyah and notti sat there looking at eachother in utter disbelief.

"oh.." aniyah mumbled quietly for only notti to hear. notti gave aniyah an apologetic look because he knew how much aniyah liked his brother.

notti was the only one aniyah told that she actually had feelings for the boy, and he of course never told his brother.

but seeing this sight in front of her made her tear up, dd had never even been in a relationship before, and aniyah wanted to be the first one.

hell she was planning on asking the boy to be her boyfriend in a couple of days. but clearly he had his own relationship to deal with.

the girl that was laying on top of dd lifted her head up seeing a random girl holding a basket next to a boy.

"who are you?" the girl asked examining aniyah as she got quiet before looking at the floor. "i'll just." aniyah said pausing before quickly putting the basket on the bedside table.

"cmon niy." notti said grabbing her hand as the two quickly exited the room. and as soon as they made it downstairs aniyah wrapped her arms around notti and he comforted her in a tight hug.

she was trying her hardest not to cry, she didn't wanna be dd's bestfriend anymore. she wanted she be his all, why couldn't he realize that? why couldn't he realize that sooner before he got into a relationship?

aniyah quickly wiped her face hearing footsteps coming downstairs as she gathered herself together.

"thanks for the basket niy, i love you." dd said with his arms out as aniyah slightly backed up.

dd almost immediately tilted his head confused at aniyah's rejection for his hug. she never declined a hug from dd, especially since he was her bestfriend.

"why you movin? what i do?" dd asked as she shook her head before wiping a tear that fell quickly.

notti stood infront of aniyah so dd couldn't see her wipe her eyes as he just looked at his brother. "why you ain't tell me you brought a girl in tha' house?" notti asked as dd laughed.

"twin you was outside, you wanted me to call and inform you or sum?" dd asked as notti nodded his head quickly. it would've been better if he did, because now notti was left to comfort the upset aniyah.

"i think i'm gonna go home now notti, i love you bye bye." aniyah said with a small smile as she went up to notti and hugged him as he hugged back.

she then grabbed her purse before heading towards the door. her heart was crushed into pieces, and soon as she went home she just knew she was about to break down.

"wait aniyah! where you going you just got here?" dd asked confused before there was more footsteps coming down the stairs.

dd had his arm around aniyah as she avoided his gaze. "uhm, excuse me?" dd's girlfriend lori said.

dd and aniyah's head whipped to the girl as she sat there on the stairs with her arms crossed and looking at the interaction with a glare.

dd almost immediately unwrapped his arm around aniyah before going over to lori. "ima see you tomorrow aniyah ight? get home safe." dd said as aniyah slowly nodded before quickly exiting the house.

dd then went back upstairs with lori who was looking at aniyah suspiciously. "who was that?" lori asked dd as they sat down onto the bed.

"ma bestfriend." dd said going through the new basket aniyah made for him with a wide smile on his face. he appreciated the gift a lot, and he loved his bestfriend dearly.

lori just looked at him in disbelief, he wasn't even paying her any attention. "unfriend her, i don't like her." lori said as dd ignored her as he continued going through the basket.

lori whipped her head to dd as she got up and snatched the basket from him before heading towards the window. "lori what are you doing bro?" dd asked as lori opened the window and threw the basket outside.

"yo you deadass?" dd asked quickly going over to the window and seeing all the goods spilled out of the basket.

"i said unfriend her, if you wanna keep me choose between us." lori said crossing her arms as dd looked at her like she was crazy.

"for real bro?" dd asked as she nodded quickly at his question. "i'm gonna leave in 5 seconds if you don't answer, so what will it be?" lori asked as dd shook his head.

"hello?!" lori asked loudly as dd sighed before looking at her. "you.." dd said lowly as lori almost immediately put a smile onto her face before going over to hug dd.

"thank you baby." lori said as dd slowly wrapped his hands around lori and hugged back.

little did he know that was a huge mistake..
