ANIYAH KENNEDY "be so serious right now.."

ANIYAH interlinked her arm with notti as they exited the deli. she was hanging out with him for the day, and now they were on their way to go pick up ddot so they could go back to the house.

"it's dummy hot out here bro." aniyah said fanning herself off as notti laughed. "we almost there." notti said fanning aniyah off aswell as she sighed loudly.

they then spotted ddot in the distance before quickly going over towards him. "hey yall." ddot said hugging the two before they started walking.

"i can't wait to lay in dd's bed, it's so comfortable for no reason." aniyah said as the two boys laughed at her.

"cmon let's hurry, it's hot!" aniyah complained as the two followed the girl to the house.

a few minutes later the three finally made it to the house as notti unlocked the door. and it was very quiet in the house before they heard a loud cry from upstairs.

"the fuck?" ddot said as aniyah and notti laughed before they quickly went upstairs to see what the noise was.

notti opened the door to dd's room as the three of them saw lori laid next to dd who had his arm around her. and they both were now looking at the three.

dd's eyes immediately locked with aniyah's who was looking at him like he was the most dumbest person in the world.

"nah i'm done." ddot said throwing his hands up as he quickly went downstairs. notti looked at aniyah who was looking at dd before she forwarded her attention to notti.

"cmon let's go." aniyah said quietly while going downstairs as notti nodded before looking back at dd who had guilt written all over his face.

notti then closed the door as he headed downstairs where aniyah and ddot were.

dd quickly got up from the bed as lori scoffed loudly. "um? i was comfortable!" lori said as dd rolled his eyes. he slid his slides on before going downstairs with everybody else.

soon as dd made it downstairs, he examined the room for aniyah. and she was sitting on the couch eating her snacks next to ddot who was stealing from her bag.

dd heard aniyah laughing as his heart felt a bit at ease. she wasn't mad, atleast he didn't think.

"aniyah."'dd called from the bottom of the stairs as all three of their heads turned to the boy. as soon as aniyah locked eyes with dd she turned her head back to the tv ignoring his presence.

"for real niy? you ignoring me?" dd asked crossing his arms as he walked over to the group.

"can we talk ova' here?" dd asked aniyah as she sighed loudly before getting up and handing her bag to ddot who took it happily

"don't eat it all dick! i'm coming right back." aniyah said as ddot and notti laughed at her reaction.

dd watched aniyah walk over to him as he backed up making sure notti and ddot couldn't hear their conversation.

"i know you mad at-i'm not mad." aniyah said quickly cutting him off as he sat there quietly with a very confused look on his face.

"you not..?" dd asked confused as aniyah nodded boredly. "i already saw this coming, i don't own you dd do what you want." aniyah said shrugging before she attempted to walk away

dd quickly grabbed her arm stopping her in her track as she threw her head back in a inaudible groan. "what dd? what else is it?" aniyah asked annoyed before there was loud footsteps coming down the stairs.

lori quickly looked around the room for dd before she spotted him. and his hand was around aniyah's wrist.

lori almost immediately went up to dd before yanking his hand off aniyah's wrist. "bitch don't touch me." aniyah spat out as lori rolled her eyes before hugging dd from the side and smirking at aniyah.

"we back together." dd said quietly as aniyah looked back and forth between the two while pointing.

"be fucking serious right now." aniyah said bluntly as lori mugged her quickly. "mind your business bitch." lori spat out as aniyah's eyes widened a bit.

"you're gonna let her call me a bitch?" aniyah asked looking at dd and dd only as he avoided her gaze. he really didn't want to get in the middle of this right now.

aniyah looked at dd in disbelief and disgust before she let out a small laugh. aniyah then sucked her lips in before nodding her head.

"alright..don't ever call or text me again, it's clear who you chose." aniyah said angrily before she walked back over to the group.

ddot and notti quickly sat up from the couch before going over to dd. "i'm going home, bye guys." aniyah said to ddot and notti before she exited the house.

and lori was watching with a wide smile plastered onto her face.

"first off, get the fuck out." notti said pointing to the door as lori mugged him quickly. "uhm no..?" lori said looking notti up and down as he looked at dd.

"tell ha' to get the fuck out for we make ha' get out for real." notti said to his brother as dd sighed loudly.

"lori get out and go home." dd said pointing to the door as lori looked at him in disbelief. "you're kicking me out? really?" lori asked dd as he nodded quickly.

"just go bro, get out." dd said getting more annoyed by the second as lori grunted loudly before turning around and leaving.

truth be told, dd wanted to go after lori so bad. they had just made up and got together, but he knew if they watched him do it he would get more than a lecture.

"you just dumb." notti said shaking his head as dd avoided the two boys gazes. he knew they were tight.

but dd also wanted to go after aniyah, he didn't want all four of them to be mad at him if he did. he didn't know what to do, he felt like he was disappointing everybody everyday. and he was tired.

he just sighed before heading towards the door to see if he could spot aniyah. dd opened the front door and exited the house.

he started running towards the way aniyah's house was, and he saw a figure in the distance around a minute later.

aniyah walked quietly down to her house with her arms crossed. her phone was in her pocket and she was thinking about everything.

how dumb can a person take when it came to love?

dd was in a loveless relationship. and aniyah didn't even know if she could blame him. he was gaslit, manipulated, and cornered from lori.

he had no escape until he allowed himself to be free.

"aniyah!" dd called out as aniyah whipped her head back seeing her bestfriend yelling her name.

aniyah quickly started speed walking to get away from dd, but he almost immediately caught up with her causing her to roll her eyes.

"you don't listen do you?" aniyah asked dd as she stopped in her tracks. and dd was greatful because he ran for a while.

"aniyah-i'm sorry ight? she gone and i made her leave." dd said as aniyah just looked at him in disbelief. (bars)

"yeah cuz that fixes the problem." aniyah said crossing her arms as dd sighed. "i'm sorry niy, you my bestfriend and i shoulda never let her call you out ya name." dd said genuinely sorry as aniyah just sat there.

"i just don't get it, you dead just embarrassed her infront of the whole school, and now you're back together? help me understand dd." aniyah said confused about the situation.

dd looked to the ground as he moved his feet around, he didn't know how to explain this to anybody. nobody really understood him and lori, but it wasn't for them to understand.

"i can't explain it, i just can't stay away from her aniyah." dd said in a saddened tone as aniyah shook her head.

"well please figure it out soon, because i'll be the second person you lose." aniyah said quietly before she walked away and continued her walk home leaving dd standing there thinking about what she just said.

and from that point on, he knew he had to do better for the sake of his friendship.
