Kingdom of High Tarxan, On The Ocean Of The Kingdom Of High Tarxan.

First Year Of God, First Day, First Five Days, First Month.

As many creatures began to emerge from the massive storm, shadows moved stealthily beneath the ocean's surface.

"Hm?" the Elf Queen murmured.

Upon seeing the sheer number of creatures in the distance, the Elf Queen brought out her monocular and peered through it to see the creatures in her eyes, their height ranging from two to twenty meters tall.

"Sea monsters," the Elf Queen muttered solemnly. She closed her and used [Magic Perception] to sense the amount of magical power within these beasts. After a split second of calculation, she estimated the amount of magicules somewhere between Level 6 to 9.

Thinking about the various things that should be done right now, the queen quickly issued orders for immediate action.

"Prepare the magi-cannons!" she commanded.

"Prepare the magi-cannons!" the elven sailors echoed in response.

"Arm the magi anti-air flaks!" the Elf Queen ordered.

"Arm the anti-air!" the sailors repeated.

"And prepare the gryphon and air combat units!" she instructed, ensuring that her forces were ready for any aerial threats.

The bell at the top of the ship of the Elven queen was tolling urgently, signaling the start of preparations. Soon enough, Elven sailors bustled about their tasks, moving quickly across their ironclads. Many ships were prepared to deploy the griffins, a beast capable of flight along with their riders, and readying to send even warriors to face the approaching creatures head-on enhanced with magic while the ships themselves were preparing their own with various weapons to shoot down the flying creatures.

As the creatures drew closer and closer, the elven sailors were utterly shocked and stood in fear as they identified the flying creatures. What had once seemed like a predictable battle against sea monsters now took on a more ominous tone.

"Those are demons!" one elven sailor exclaimed in alarm.

The sailors, initially stunned by the sight of the demons, exchanged anxious glances. They had previously faced many Orc pirate raids and the occasional sea monster, but the prospect of confronting dozens of sea monsters alongside a horde of demons? They had never done anything like this in their records, it was unprecedented and filled them with dread.

But those who have strong resolve stood firm and decided to face the threat head-on. They steeled themselves for the battle, knowing the fate of their nation depended on their bravery.

However, some among the crew, particularly those who opposed the current queen's rule, were overcome by fear and resentment.

"We can't take down those things! The queen has brought about a tragedy for us! Those are the minions of the demon lord!" a disgruntled elven sailor exclaimed as he exchanged a knowing glance with an elven officer.

Together, they nodded, signaling their readiness to execute a plan they had previously devised. It seemed they intended to use the present crisis as an opportunity to do something.

"Abandon the queen! We'll lose our lives for nothing! To hell with the queen!" the Elven officer shouted, urging his crew to retreat.

As a result, half of the ships began to turn away from the battle, making the number of ironclads dwindle even more.

"Tsk! Those cowards." the Queen muttered with frustration.

Acheron, meanwhile, was smirking all the time as he watched the situation unfold. This was his perfect chance to depose his sister and position himself for his own gain. However, for the meantime, he must quietly escape since half of the fleet were abandoning his sister, which means this battle will be a lost cause. Knowing it would be futile to stay, he silently bid farewell to his sister and went off his way.

Melian noticed her brother's departure but chose not to react. In her mind, it was better to be without his presence. After all, her brother gives off that feeling who is always scheming and prefers to focus on the battle ahead without worrying about his treachery.

Even with her brother gone and the number of her forces were only from a hundred to fifty in numbers, Melian still steeled herself for the looming fight against the sea monsters and demons.

On the way out of the ironclad of his sister, Acheron whispered something softly to the sailors onboard. It was so soft that nobody could hear it, even with anyone within a foot around them, it still cannot be heard, which means magic may have been used.

Below the ship, a small yellow crystal can be seen laying on the floor. Moments later, a magic circle suddenly manifested around the crystal, and a timer began counting down.

With his plot in motion, Acheron instructed his elven sailors to board a small magi-boat and make their escape. Once they reached a safe distance, they were taken in by other ironclads that had been waiting nearby.

"Preparations are complete for your ascension, your majesty!" an elven commander announced.

"Perfect! Now we just wait for the timer to stop. I'm glad the elven priest identified the anomaly in the order of the gods," Acheron replied with a satisfied smirk.

"Indeed, your majesty! You are our one and true monarch! Hail His Majesty, the King of all Tarxan!" the elven commander declared.

"Hail! Hail! Hail!" the sailors from each ship in the fleet echoed the praise, supporting Acheron as their new king.

Acheron relished the adoration and anticipation of his ascension to power. In his mind, he had taken the first step toward achieving his ultimate goal of ruling the Kingdom of High Tarxan.

Panning back to the sidelines of Melian, it was evident that some ships had remained on course with Her Majesty, all of them were the allies of her father, committed to her cause and her vision of reform. Their loyalty ran deep, and they stayed because they believed in Melian that she would bring about the reforms her father wanted. So if she will die, they will die with her, knowing returning home without her would lead to being labeled as traitors by the usurper.

As the battle has now begun, a mere heartbeat passed before the sky darkened with the arrival of winged demons, descending like a swarm of locusts, while beneath the waves were dozens of sea monsters surged forth in unison.

The next moment, the mages, archers, and many magic casters raised their hands, bows, enchanted weapons, and magic circles materializing upon their palms. Before long, a cascade of spells and arrows were fired upon the distant demons above.

Suddenly, a tremendous spell materialized in the heavens. Lingering in the air for a couple of seconds before it streaked across the sky with the force of a falling star, unleashing devastation upon the demon horde above.

BOOOM!

The ocean trembled as nearly a dozen demons were obliterated in an instant.

On a different note, the magic casters weren't the only long-distance damage dealers, as the elven sailors armed with weapons that resembled muskets took aim from the ship's deck. Though resembling their mundane counterparts, these firearms operated differently as they shot projectiles forged from raw mana.

These magical bullets were devastating as each shot split the rain apart and tore through the ranks of demons with ease, but the only downside on these weapons is that it takes the sailors some time required to channel their mana into the weapon before each shot.

At that moment, another swarm of demons came with horrifying numbers. As the sea of demons fastly approached the ironclad ships like a flock of birds, they mercilessly sped towards them.

Unfortunately for them, the close-quarters weapon users were already waiting for them.

"[Flight]!"

A group of mages on each ship cast their magic upon groups of ten men and women armed with various weapons, from swords to spears, bows, and axes. As the soldiers' bodies glowed slightly, rings of energy motes expanded from them, allowing the soldiers within the ring to levitate and launch themselves toward the horde of monsters.

"Admiral, do you need any help?" one of the mages asked the admiral, who stood confidently at the edge of the deck.

"Don't worry, lads. I have enough spells to manage on my own," the admiral replied with assurance as he unsheathed a two-meter-tall broadsword and cast his own magic.

"[Zephyr's Flight]."

A wave of magical energy erupted from his body, causing everyone aboard the ship to feel the immense pressure of the admiral's powerful presence. The ship's crew could sense the strength and confidence of the admiral as he prepared to confront the approaching enemies.

"Well, I'm off then, lads. Keep the ship and the Queen safe!"

With that, the admiral took a confident step forward from the edge of the ship. Instead of falling, he stepped onto the air as though he was treading on an invisible foothold.

He then kicked off the air, propelling himself towards the oncoming monsters at astonishing speed. He joined forces with the Gryphon units and other air combat teams to fight the horde head-on.

"So, this is the power of Admiral Grey, one of the people reaching the Transcendent Tier 1 in the kingdom," remarked one of the magicians.

The mage woman beside him nodded in agreement. "Yes, he single-handedly took down a fleet of Orc ships, slaughtered a wave of sea monsters attacking coastal cities, and even took down a Greater Dragon alone."

"What a monster," another magician commented in awe. "I don't know if I had a chance to reach that level in my lifetime."

"We're only at Level 5. The gap between each tier is massive, so it might take us decades or even centuries to reach there," the mage woman added.

"True," the young magician agreed, turning his attention back to the battle. He watched in admiration as Admiral Grey soared towards a group of flying demons in the sky, demonstrating the incredible power and skill that made him one of the legendary figures in the kingdom.

"[Greater Giant's Strength]!"

Casting another spell to strengthen his strength tenfold, the admiral raised his mighty broadsword and aimed at one of the sea monsters which appeared to be a ten meter tall eel.

"ROOAAARRR!"

"Die beast!"

Raising his two meter long broadsword at a 90 degree angle, he charged forward at the giant eel and determined to strike it down. Just then, the creature suddenly unleashed a bolt of lightning from its mouth as it pierced through the sky with tremendous speed.

BOOM!

A thunderous sound resounded. The shockwaves of the clash between the Admiral's broadsword and the bolt of lightning sent shockwaves rippling through the air. Nearby allies and monsters were both pushed back several meters by the force of the clash.

"Rooaaarrrr!"

The giant eel roared in pain, but its cries were silenced as the admiral's broadsword cleaved through its neck, severing its head from its body. Massive amounts of blood gushed forth, staining the ocean red and signaling the death of the monstrous creature.

"Such a weak Level 7 beast," the admiral scoffed, swinging his broadsword to fling off the blood that had stained the blade.

As the battle raged on the oceans below, the ironclad ships unleashed a relentless barrage upon the horde of flying demons and sea monsters along with thunderous cannon fire and the deafening roar of anti-air flak filled the air, while many crew ruched back and forth, manning and reloading their armaments.

Smoke and powder drifted over the chaotic scene, with death lingering at every turn. As casualties continued to rise among Melian's fierce fleet, an even graver threat emerged from the shadows lurking beneath the ocean's surface.

This hidden danger, well-hidden from any magical detection, not even from the queen herself, began to make its presence known, casting an ominous shadow over the already dire battle.

Before anyone could magically detect the incoming danger, the ocean churned with increasing violence as the fleet faced a terrifying new threat. The waters erupted as more sea monsters emerged from beneath the ironclad ships, their sudden assault flipping several of them upside down. Among them was Melian's ship, which was sent careening into the waves, plunging the queen and her sailors into the sea.

"Her Majesty!" the admiral shouted in alarm. The air combat units, witnessing the harrowing sight, paused in horror and confusion. The sea monsters had somehow managed to somehow bypass their magical detection, catching them entirely off guard.

"ROARRRR!!"

The beastly roar echoed across the ocean, emanating from a monstrous Leviathan towering 30 meters high.

Its fearsome presence sent chills down the spines of all who heard its thunderous bellow. The battle now faced a new and deadly challenge as the fleet struggled to regroup and fend off the mighty Leviathan.

"Everyone fall back! We must save the queen!" The Admiral commanded across the chaotic scene as he and the rest of the combat units soared through the air, but were met with a wall of sea monsters obstructing their path.

The colossal Leviathan, its sheer size and power undeniable, unleashed another earth-shaking roar. The slight movement of its massive body triggered tidal waves that violently swept across the ocean, engulfing the Elven sailors and dragging many of them down into the cold, unforgiving depths, effectively drowning them.

Melian, meanwhile, her fate was hanging in the balance. However, a stroke of luck saw her safely rescued by one of the remaining ironclads that were last standing. She was pulled from the churning waters just in time, her survival providing a glimmer of hope for her loyal followers as the battle raged on.

Melian looked over at the tumultuous ocean after climbing on top of the ironclad's deck and saw the desperate situation unfolding before her. Many of the combat air units were busy fighting against the countless sea monsters on their way, while the giant Leviathan stood in front of the ship, preparing to pounce and devour everyone on board.

Sensing the amount of magic power within it, she estimates it is a Transcendent Tier 1 magic beast, which only the admiral, a few elves in the fleet, and herself could physically fight.

Melian closed her eyes, steeling herself for the difficult choice she had to make, one that could even endanger the people around her.

Just as she was about to cast forth her magic powerful enough to slay the Leviathan and risk collateral damage to the surrounding ironclad ships, ten large metal ships suddenly came out of the storm and began releasing a barrage of projectiles into the air, and the sky exploded into a dazzling flashes of light. Shortly after the projectiles were launched and exploded, a rain of bodies of the flying demons fell from the sky and onto the seas below.

This unexpected turn of events caught the rest of the sea monsters' attention, as they turned around to face the new arrivals.

Seeing the sea monsters recognize the newcomers as a greater threat, Melian watched in disbelief as the creatures swiftly closed in on the newly arrived ships at fast speed through the waters.

Ready to intervene and defend the unexpected arrivals, Melian paused when she noticed all of the ships' humungous of what seemed like magi-cannons pivot towards the approaching sea monsters and began firing in a quick burst.

Melian looked at the projectiles, which they seemed like brilliant fireworks, exploded upon impact against the horde of sea monsters, causing significant damage and taking them down one by one.

Not before long, a large plume of smoke erupted from one of the mysterious metal ships capturing Melian's attention. At first, she feared the ship had been struck by something and exploded, but she was wrong as some sort of arrow of light streaked through the sky, heading straight for the Leviathan standing in front of her ship.

Just as when the arrow of light was about to hit the Leviathan, the sea monster itself dodged the projectile by simply tilting its head to the left. This made Melian and the sailors shudder in fear and braced for the worst as the arrow of light was moving directly at them. But then, that was all lost and was replaced by shock when the arrow of light suddenly veered, pivoting in midair and striking the Leviathan in the back of its head.

A deafening explosion erupted upon impact, sending shockwaves rippling across the sea and leaving Melian and her crew in a stunned silence.

As the smoke dissipated, Melian was astonished to see the leviathan lying dead on the ocean's surface. Glancing over the rest of the sea monsters, she found that all of them were floating lifeless in the water, much to her and her sailors' amazement.

As the smoke cleared, Melian was surprised that the leviathan was lying on the ocean dead. Looking over the rest of the sea monsters, she found that all of them were dead floating in the ocean, much to her and the sailors' surprise.

In under a single minute, the explosion from the magi-cannons of these ships had wiped out most of the demons and sea monsters, forcing the few ones to flee from the battlefield.

"Your Majesty, are you unharmed?" the admiral asked with concern as he landed on the ironclad ship with the rest of the air combat unit.

"I'm alright," she reassured him.

"Your Majesty, one of those ships is approaching!" an elven sailor exclaimed.

Melian and her crew turned their attention to the large metal ships and noticed one of them was making its way toward them.

On the top of the board of the metal ship, a bright, radiant light suddenly opened up. The brightness of the light was unparalleled by anything they had seen before, and the light flickered rhythmically as if it was telling them something
