Austronesian Empire, Imperial Majapahit, Aceh, Near A Dry Dock In Aceh.

2000, 1, 1st Week, January.

The waves were roaring as it clashed against the hull of the mighty ship sending spray across its deck. On its sides were the name "ALN Teuku Umar" that was painted magnificently, signifying it as one of the pride vessels of the Imperial Majapahit of the Austronesian Empire.

The name Teuku Umar bears great pride and carries significant historical weight for the people of Aceh and all of Majapahit. He was a revolutionary fighter and leader that hails from the land of Aceh and fought against the Colonizers of the Dutch Empire, driven by a dream of an independent motherland free from the chains of the colonizers and from oppression. He fought and fought many battles, ultimately; he didn't see the light of freedom as he was ambushed and killed in Meulaboh, Aceh.

The ship's boiler roared in anger as it struggled to push the mighty ship through the turbulent seas because of the "terrible weather," that was present in all of Austronesia. The mighty ALN Teuku Umar belongs to the Sovereign Class Of Battleships, sporting 8 boilers with a ship horsepower of 220,000 Its six geared steam turbines and six screw propellers propelled the ship at 32.5 knots, with a maximum range of 35,000 kilometers. Its armament included three triple 406 mm guns, ten twin 127mm guns, 20 quadruple 40mm anti-air guns, and 40 single 20mm anti-air guns, providing formidable firepower against any threat.

The waves were raging everywhere as the showers of lightning and rain pours down on to the sea across the stormy sky. The bridge of the mighty battleship was standing tall, drenching by the waters of the ocean as it fought against the chaotic waves that kept on pummeling its hulls.

As the rain began to ease and pour softer, strands of light were showing up in the sky, it was as if hope was finally showing. However, the waves were raging as hard as ever, continuing to pound the hull. Within the passing moment, a colossal wave rose from the far front of the mighty battleship. The speed of the waves was ridiculous, and it was as if it was trying to swallow the entire vessel.

"Admiral! What should we do?" a sailor exclaimed, his voice laced with urgency.

"Full speed ahead! If we turn back now, we risk capsizing our entire ship!" the Admiral commanded, his tone firm as he faced the challenge head-on without a moment of hesitation.

The entire ship sped up as it slashed through the waves one by one with incredible speed. It was almost as if an enormous arrow was traveling in the sea, slicing everything on its way. After a few jaw dropping moments, the ship was finally on the front of the wave that looked menacing as ever.

With a breathtaking display of power and determination, the entire battleship bashed its bow directly into the heart of the wave. For a moment, it seemed as though the waves would slowly consumed the entire vessel. But with enough speed, momentum, and sheer force, the entire battleship that was supposed to have been consumed by the wave, pierced through the dark blue wall of water, appearing on the opposite side and landed gracefully on the sea, sending water splashing in every direction.

The sailors that were evacuated inside looked out through their glasses, and they were left utterly speechless by the incredible sight before them. What they saw would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

After clashing with the mighty battleship, broke the entire force of the wave to which its colossal size rescinded into that of a laughable one.

The battleship, after which they passed the colossal wave, was met with the wave that was much calmer. However, for simple ships such as small vessels and civilian boats are still not recommended to sail.

After some time of traveling for a while, the mighty battleship finally met up with its Task Group, which is the 3rd task group of the 2nd fleet of the Wilwatikta Command Group. It is composed of 10 ships, with the Battleship "ALN Teuku Umar" at the center. On either side of the battleship were 2 Guided Missile Destroyers which are "ALN Antoro" and "ALN Asumi", followed by 3 Guided Missile Frigates, "ALN Banyu", "Baskoro" and "Bagus". Last but not the least were 4 Anti-Submarine Warfare Corvettes.

This task group had seen spread out across different parts of Aceh but were hastily assembled to form the 3rd Task Group on intercepting the massive fleets of unidentified ironclads spotted outside of Austronesia's Exclusive Economic Zone.

The Admiral of the fleets was utterly confused by the absence of the monsters, as they had seen none of them were rampaging around the sea and sky.

'Was it all a bad dream?' the admiral wondered, unable to shake his confusion.

Once the task group rearranged into a proper formation, they set out to intercept the fleet of ironclads. Meanwhile, the admiral was thinking of what is the the most effective tactic can can used to confront the unknown vessels. He thought hard about it, however. But ultimately, he decided to send one of the ships to become a messenger. So after arriving at the borders of the clouds of the storm, and on the other side stands a bright sun that was shining over the world.

The admiral ordered the guided missile destroyer ALN Asumi to scout ahead and issue a warning to the fleet of ironclads.

The admiral himself still believes and hoped for a peaceful exchange might work, but he was prepared for the worst. If the ironclads attacked the lone warship, then they shall face the full might of the Austronesians.

The guided missile destroyer ALN Asumi sailed forward and emerged from the border of the storm, entering a world what the sailors and captain of the ALN Asumi saw was a bright sun that was shining upon them. The light of the sun was dazzling, and they felt a warm glow enveloped them all, calming their nerves and lifting their spirits.

It wasn't too hot, it was just the right temperature.

The sailors, for a, were appalled by what they were seeing. Fortunately, they immediately snapped out of it, because of a radio chatter and alarms that were blaring loudly.

[General Quarters! General Quarters! General Quarters!] Was the sound of the radio and alarm.

The captain of the ship immediately radioed the task group.

[Commander! There's multiple bogies everywhere! It seemed like the ironclads were engaged in a fight with those creatures that invaded our motherland!] shouted the voice wit an urgent report.

The Admiral thought hard about the situation, and so he decided to save them. After all, if he chose to save the ironclads, he could create an opportunity for future cooperation and put them in the Austronesian Empire's debt. This also aligns with the policy of the Emperor.

Gunboat Diplomacy.

If the ironclads saw how strong they were, then they would think twice before entering their territory.

At that moment, another message was receive from the radio.

[Admiral! Nearly all of the creatures had noticed us, and they are approaching the ship fast!]

Knowing he couldn't waste any more time, the order was immediately given and so the ALN Asumi opened its hatches and unleashed its arsenal, firing a barrage of surface-to-air missiles, anti-aircraft cannons, and every single of the ship's cannons were deafening as it shot the approaching creatures that had just invaded their motherland.

And like that...

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

In more than a minute, the invading creatures were dropping from the sky like defeated flies and being bombarded by a rain of naval shells. Soon, there was nothing left as the sky became cleared and the ocean was littered by the lifeless bodies of the giant hostile marine creatures.

The captain reported the successful defense to the admiral, however there was an anomaly that troubled him: the fleet of ironclads had been significantly reduced to a miniscule amount.

As the admiral hoped for peaceful communication became possible, he suddenly recieved an order from the Emperor himself, which helped his uneasiness.

"Bring them in, we have demonstrated our strength. Now let us show we are hospitable and compassionate people," Was the order from his majesty Maximo, and the admiral nodded, taking in the emperor's words.

"However..."

Suddenly, the admiral noticed the emperor's change of tone, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of anxiety to hear the next words from his leader's cold and indifferent voice.

"But if there is any hostile engagement from these ships... hit them back."
