Austronesia Empire, Imperial Majapahit, Makassar, In the Ocean near Makassar.

2000, 3, 1st Week, January

In the oceans near the city of Makassar, chaos reigned as the People's Liberation Navy fought tooth and nail against the relentless onslaught of countless sea monsters surging across the vast expanse of the ocean.

It is the third day that the Austronesian Empire had been transported to this new world, but were still being attacked by both sides from sea monsters to demons across the entire nation.

After the catastrophic earthquake unleashed by the demon lord, the situation got a hundred times worse. The containment of the demons had been lost and the number of sea monster attacks skyrocketed than ever before as the Austronesian Empire as a whole had now faced a different degree of destruction.

It was hell on earth as dozens of cities were under siege and thousands of human lives were lost every minute.

Just within an hour, half of Mindanao were burned down by the demonic tide and the addition of the human death count reached 10 million.

It is the darkest moment humanity has ever seen in their life.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Countless cannons of fifty naval ships roared through the oceans. Crewmembers moved around and loaded the shells that streaked across the sky, unleashing hellfire upon the horde.

"There is no end to this!" shouted a crewmember on one of the battleships as he peered through the binoculars in his hand.

"Just hold them off for some time! Air support is on their way!" replied another crewmember, his voice barely audible over the cacophony of cannonfire and screams.

In the bridge, a crew member gritted his teeth as he noticed the advancing sea monsters were closing their distance, "Captain, how much longer can we keep this up?"

The captain glanced at the sea of beast looming ominously on the horizon. "As long as it takes! We can't let these things overrun the city!"

But their efforts seemed futile as wave after wave of sea monsters surged forth. All of the crews in each ship fought bravely, but the casualties mounted, and hope began to wane.

As the moon gradually reached the center of the sky that signaled the time had reached midnight, the moment of truth arrived. Another massive wave of sea monsters surfaced from the ocean with their numbers seemingly endless.

Fifty battleships, destroyers, cruisers, and dreadnoughts formed a defensive barrier and unleashed a storm of cannon fire upon them, killing dozens in an instant.

But no matter how many sea monsters they kill, more are coming and it seems like it doesn't end.

And moments later, a trio of F-12 Phoenix fighter jets streaked overhead and headed towards the sea monster swarm.

"This is Viper 1 to Overload, are we clear to engage?" Viper 1 asked.

[Overload to Viper 1, weapons free!] The captain shouted over the radio.

The F-12s then each launched two missiles upon the masses. The missile struck them, annihilating hundreds upon hundreds of sea monsters in an instant and formed a massive splash of water that engulfed the whole area.

"Hunter 7-5 to Overload, targets destroyed."

[Copy that. Are there others approaching?]

"I-... what the?" One of the F-12 pilots suddenly noticed something within the cloud, something blue.

"What is thi-" The pilot's words were cut short as an enormous claw emerged from the cloud.

"Oh shi-"

BOOM!

Before the pilot could maneuver, the jet crashed into the claw and exploded.

"What the hell!?" exclaimed a crew member on one of the navy ships as he and the others watched their air support being shot down one by one within the mist.

As the last jet was taken down by what appeared to be a giant tentacle, thousands more sea monsters emerged from the cloud, ranging from twenty to sixty meters in height.

And what they saw next caused them to nearly shit themselves.

Behind this new wave were two enormous creatures, each dwarfing both ships and sea monsters, standing over a hundred meters tall.

The captain's voice crackled over the radio as he shouted, "Command, we required more assistance! These things are too much for us!"

The Liberation Navy responded by immediately shooting them down, their weapons spewing with lead and explosives in a relentless onslaught. While the smaller sea monsters could be dispatched easily, these colossal monstrosities that towered over the battlefield proved to resist heavy gunfire.

"SHRIIIEEEEK!!" one of the giant sea monsters, a giant octopus, shrieked as it raised its 300 meter tall tentacle and slammed into one of the ships, tearing it in two and sending it sinking into the depths.

"Goddamn it! Yesterday, I'm only asking for a bigger blue crab and octopus to eat... BUT I'M NOT ASKING FOR THIS BIG!"

"Where are the reinforcements!? Why haven't they arrived yet!?" demanded a crew member. He staggered, nearly thrown off balance by the shockwave of an explosion as one of the sea monsters unleashed a devastating beam of yellow energy, obliterating one of the battleship's cannons and claiming the lives of a dozen crew members around it.

Another crew member, who appeared to be a navy officer, hesitated, his resolve faltering momentarily. But understanding the futility of concealment, he delivered the grim news that might break the morale of his crew.

"They won't come."

A collective chill swept through the ranks as his words hung heavy in the air. Anti-aircraft weapons lowered, eyes oscillated between their leader and the encroaching horde, a palpable sense of despair descending upon them like a suffocating shroud.

"T-Then are we..." One of the crew members trembled, tears mingling with dirt-streaked cheeks as a look of sorrow and depression loomed over his face.

"Going to die here?" he whispered, gazing up at the two colossal monsters looking down at him like towering behemoths, their ominous presence casting a shadow over all hope.

Austronesia Empire, Imperial Maharlika, Mindanao, North Cotabato, Kidapawan City, In the Streets of Kidapawan City.

2000, 3, 1st Week, January

Kidapawan city was a ghost town. The illuminating full moon was blocked by a dreary, thick layer of gray cloud formations which hovered over the city. Throughout the city, the loudspeaker continued to resonate across the desolate streets.

[Citizens! Evacuate to the underground bunker in the center of the city! Those who are unable to make it, stay indoors at all costs!]

But alas, there are some people who aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer, and as it happens, one of those people was pilfering through the empty stores. He had a gruff beard, a ragged red-colored sweater, and a green hat, with a crowbar in his hand that was breaking through every window that had something shiny on the other side.

"Where are those fucktards at! I need to buy those good stuff again!" The crook broke the window and began the process of stealing everything in the store. "And demons? What bullshit I'm hearing? Fucking religious retards, yapping about some children story and the beardo on the clouds," The criminal sneered before giving a crooked smile when he saw all of the loot in his sack. "Whatever these idiots were doing while I was having some good shit in my basement, this is worth it! Haha!"

But then, out of nowhere, a gust of wind came throttling in through the street, throwing the crook off balance. Just as quickly as it came, it vanished, leaving the crook perplexed about what that could have been.

"What the hell... Was that the wind?"

While the man was left in confusion, he was completely unaware of the swarm of locust that came creeping up behind him. It was only when he felt their tiny and multitudinous bodies creeping up through his legs did he realize his truly idiotic mistake of staying on the street.

"What the he-... AHH! AHHHHHHHHH!"

Screams sounded through the empty city, and the robber tried desperately to swat the locust away, but it did nothing. The locust began to devour him with a crunching force of a piranha with their tiny mouths tearing his flesh. In just five seconds, the man was reduced to nothing but a pile of bones and shredded flesh.

Once the man died brutally, the demonic locust swarm flew up into the sky and huddled around their master, their queen.

"It seemed you all were not too pleased. Go, my children. Devour everything and leave nothing, for I, Lord Famine, command it!"

The giant cloud of bugs followed their queen and dispersed in every direction. With a sinister chuckle, Famine looked down at the fields that were once lush with crops, now barren and lifeless.

Behind her, multiple cities lay in ruin, filled with nothing but little remains of civilians and soldiers, their numbers once in the tens of thousands.

What was once an abundant and prosperous city, had been ravaged by the demonic tide, leaving it in ruins with tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of lives lost.

Austronesia Empire, Imperial Maharlika, Mindanao, Davao City, Civilian bunker

2000, 3, 1st Week, January

In the shattered remains of a city, a massive bunker hidden beneath the rubble offered a fragile sanctuary to 150 civilians. The air inside was thick with the scent of fear and the murmur of desperate voices.

"Daddy, when will it be safe to go outside again?" the little girl named Serena from chapter 5 asked, clutching her father's hand tightly.

"Shh, sweetheart," her father, Antonio, whispered soothingly, "We'll be safe soon. Just stay close to me."

Around them, people huddled in small groups, whispering anxiously as the sound of a distant explosion sent a ripple of terror through the crowd.

"We can't stay here forever," an elderly woman muttered to no one in particular. "They'll find us eventually."

"Quiet, all of you!" snapped a man near the door, "Panicking won't help anyone."

Suddenly, the heavy steel door of the bunker shuddered violently. The civilians gasped, recoiling in horror as the door buckled and then exploded inward. Two demonic monstrous creatures, grotesque and feral, lunged through the opening with their claws and teeth gleamed in the dim light.

"ROOOAAARRR!!!"

"Ahhhh!"

"Move it, quick!"

"Don't push me...!"

"R-Run!"

Screams erupted as the creatures tore into the nearest civilians, crushing, and devouring anyone in their path. Antonio pulled his daughter behind him, shielding her with his body.

"Stay behind me, Serena! Don't look!" he shouted over the chaos. Fear etched across his face, but he refused to stop protecting his daughter.

'Damn it! There is too many people, and we are surrounded! We are going to die here!'

"They are inside!"

"Let me go!"

"AHHHHHH!!!"

More screams are heard and Antonio couldn't help but look at his daughter who is clutching his legs in fear.

'Damn it! It doesn't matter if I were to die, at least allow this child to survive!'

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

But just as the demons advanced, a deafening barrage of gunfire echoed through the bunker. Ten military soldiers stormed in with their rifles blazing. The monsters screeched and thrashed under the onslaught but were quickly gunned down.

"Keep firing!" barked the lead soldier. "Don't let them through!"

Another soldier, his face smeared with dirt and sweat, gestured urgently to the civilians. "Everyone, move! We're getting you out of here!"

Antonio scooped his daughter into his arms and immediately joined the panicked crowd toward the exit, while the soldiers continued firing the two demons to supress them and covering the civilians' retreat.

As they emerged onto the war-torn surface, the lead soldier unhooked his belt loaded with grenades and turned back to the bunker entrance.

"Get them out of here!" he shouted to his comrades. Then, with a determine look at the civilians he was sworn to protect, he hurled the belt into the gaping maw of the bunker.

"Eat this!"

BOOOM!

The explosion was deafening, sending a shockwave that knocked everyone to the ground. When the dust settled, the entrance to the bunker was a twisted heap of rubble, sealing off the horrors within.

"Daddy, are we safe now?" Antonio's daughter said in a trembling tone as she clung to her father.

Antonio hugged her tightly with tears of relief streaming down his face. "Yes, sweetheart. We're safe now."

The soldiers regrouped, scanning the horizon for any further threats. The sergeant, now missing his belt, stared at the crowd.

"Let's move," he said firmly. "We need to get you all to a safer location."

As the group moved away from the destroyed bunker, the civilians whispered prayers of gratitude.

Minutes later, the civilians along with a group of soldiers that escorted them were moving through a desolate open field as their breaths ragged with exhaustion and fear.

Suddenly, the thunderous noise of rotors cut through the air, and a large helicopter known as the TA-7 Shade descended in front of them with its doors open wide in a hopeful invitation.

"Finally, we don't have to die here!" exclaimed one of the civilians with tears in his eye.

"Everyone, quickly!" a soldier shouted, waving them forward. "Get on board the helicopter!"

People began to rush toward the helicopter, pushing and shoving in their desperation. Antonio clutched his daughter close, ensuring she made it onto the chopper safely.

As the last of the one hundred civilians were crammed inside, the soldier at the door turned to the remaining crowd.

"The helicopter has reached its limit! We can't take anymore people!" he said anxiously as he blocked the desperate civilians, "Or else there will be a risk of the helicopter crashing."

"Then when will the next helicopter come??" one of the civilians asked in desperation.

"I-I am sorry to say this, but... this is the last helicopter we have available!" the soldier said with a mix of regret and despair in his eyes and tone. "Once the helicopter took off... we will bombed the city entirely. Anyone who are unable to board the helicopter are going to inevitably die here..."

Upon hearing this, cries of despair erupted from the crowd.

"We only just managed to have some hope, but... What are these children going to do?" a mother asked as she clung her infant child with tears streaming down her face.

On the helicopter, the father looked at the hopeless crowd. He wanted to help them, but...

"It's alright, we are already on the plane," he whispered to his daughter. "Daddy already lost your mommy. I can't lose you too."

As he looked at the crowd outside, especially the mother who had the infant in her arms, he averted his gaze with a hesitant, regretful look.

"I won't leave then!"

Just then, an elderly man inside the helicopter stood up.

"Give my spot to this child! I have already lived a long life," he said softly. "He is more qualified than me to board this helicopter."

He exited the helicopter, and his selfless act triggered a wave of similar sacrifices.

"Me... me too."

"I will also give up my spot!"

Two more men stepped out, followed by dozens more.

"Me too..."

"Same for me..."

"But... but you will..." a young boy said hesitantly with tears leaking from his eye. He is not the only one as other people were saddened by their decision.

"Stop dwindling! Quickly board the helicopter or else I'm going to regret it!" one of the men urged, his voice firm despite the emotional weight of his words.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

"The helicopter needs to take off immediately!" a soldier shouted at the crowd as he and rest of his squad fire their rifles at a horde of demons approaching. "We won't able to hold them off for long!"

On the helicopter, Antonio, seeing the last child outside and knowing what had to be done, knelt to face his daughter.

"Serena, you must... take care of yourself. I need you to be brave now and grow up well!" he said, his voice breaking. "Daddy will find you later. I promise."

"No, Daddy!" Serena cried, holding onto him. "Don't leave me!"

He kissed her forehead and gently pushed her into the helicopter before looking at the crowd outside, "Over here! There's one more spot!"

A mother with her infant rushed forward, tears streaming down her face as she took the place offered by the man's sacrifice. While the spldiers continued their desperate defense, the helicopter's doors closed, and it lifted off,

As the helicopter ascended, Antonio watched it descended into the sky and feel hope for is daughter would survive and find peace.

"W-Why did I give my spot away... I really don't want to die," one of the civilians, who had volunteered to stay behind, dropped to his knees and cried, "Damn it! Damn it! I want to live!"

Watching the man break down in despair, Antonio felt the same way, but at least his daughter would live on.

"Daddy won't be able to go find you. From now on, please protect yourself properly," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion.

As the helicopter flew off, Antonio looked up one last time at his daughter, who's tear-streaked face pressed against the window.

"Goodbye, dadd-"

BOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

All of a sudden, multiple tentacles shot out from the ground and struck the helicopter before ripping it apart. The wreckage fall to the earth and exploded in front of the crowd's eyes.

"The helicopter... exploded!!" shouted a civilian in panic.

"No... way," Antonio mumbled with his eyes widened in horror.

Not before long, a massive beast with four tentacles on its back loomed over the field, having already slaughtered half of the defending soldiers.

"R-Run!"

Panic spread like wildfire. Civilians ran, screaming, as the remaining soldiers made a desperate stand and fire all their rounds at the approaching demon horde, only to be instantly overwhelmed. The demons cut down one person after another and the people's cries echoed through the field.

Antonio stood frozen, his heart shattering as he realized his daughter was gone. At that moment, his broke his thoughts when he noticed the tentacle demon devour a helpless civilians.

Feeling enrage and thirst for revenge, he grabbed a metal pipe he found on the ground and charged.

"AHHHHHH!!"

Before the tentacle demon could react, it noticed the man roared and managed to stab the creature in the eye.

"RETURN MY DAUGHTER... TO ME!!"

The demon howled in pain and fury and smacked Antonio away with its colossal paw. He crashed into rubble as his bones broke upon impact.

As the monsters finished off the last of the civilians and soldiers, they turned their attention to Antonio, the sole survivor. Memories of his daughter flooded his mind. Rage and sorrow filled his heart. He glared at the monsters as his vision blurred.

"It seems like I am really going to die here. I am so unwilling," he whispered with tears mingling with blood on his face. "Is there anyone who can help me take revenge? Just anyone..."

Seconds ticked by, and he closed his eyes, ready to accept his fate. Suddenly, a glimmer in the sky caught his attention. At first, he thought it was a star, but realizing it was covered entirely of clouds, he looked again, and noticed the object was descending rapidly.

"A missile?" he wondered aloud, but then he remembered the soldier's words about bombing the whole city.

Bombing the city with one missile? There is only one kind of missile had a capable to do so.

Nuclear weapons.

Knowing this, Antonio closed his eyes one last time.

"I'll see you soon, Serena," he whispered.

BOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!

In an instant, the nuclear blast engulfed the city, obliterating everything, including the monsters and the man himself. The field turned to ash, the city turned into a wasteland, and silence descended where chaos had once ruled moments before.

------------------

Following the nuclear detonation in Davao City, subsequent cities and areas where massive numbers of demons had gathered were relentlessly bombed by nuclear weapons.

While these strikes effectively cleared out thousands of demons, there were more stronger monstrosities roaming Mindanao that even nuclear arsenals had difficulties to eliminate.

One such example was a titanic Dragon, with Magicule Level over 750,000 and towering over a hundred meters tall, appeared in the Sultan Kudarat region and rampaged through it, demolishing countless cities and towns.

After causing hundreds of thousands of casualties, it was besieged and eventually killed by three fleets of the Liberation Navy stationed in the nearby oceans.

During the battle, the military lost dozens of fighter aircraft, expended a hundred and fifty cruise missiles, and deployed one megaton nuclear bomb.

However, this colossal demon was not the only threat across Mindanao. Seven giant demons, each three kilometers long and resembling jellyfish with Magicule Levels over 150,000, flew menacingly over cities in the Maguindanao region. Their tendrils beneath them unleashed constant thunder strikes and vaporized anything they touched while ignoring various missile bombardments.

But the most terrifying adversary faced by the military across Mindanao was a giant demon, a kilometer in length and resembling a mythical Dust Serpent with Magicule Levels over 900,000. It wrought havoc across the Bukidnon region, causing widespread destruction and millions of casualties.

After firing six hundred and forty missiles, countless rounds of ammunition, and deploying six megaton nuclear bombs, the beast was finally brought down, though not without the loss of ten warships.

Austronesia Empire, Imperial Maharlika, Luzon, Metro Manila, Malacanang Palace

2000, 3, 1st Week, January

[Nuclear detonation has successfully eradicated 80% of the demonic forces in Davao City!] reported one of the people on the television screen in the Emperor's meeting office.

[In addition to Davao city, five more cities have been nuked, but ten more are currently under attack,] another voice on the screen reported.

"Then what are going to do? Should we continue to drop more nuclear weapons?" said one of the political figures in the office with sweat pouring from his head.

Bam!

With a loud bang, the entire office desk shook violently.

Looking up, everyone was startled to find Emperor Maximo standing up and slamming the table fiercely with an angry expression.

"Our nation is already facing an unprecedented crisis, and you want to worsen it by plunging us into nuclear winter?" Emperor Maximo groaned as he shifted his gaze to the poised blonde woman dressed in formal attire on the screen, "Amelia, any recent reports on the Demon Lord and the other four?"

"Yes," Amelia nodded solemnly as she took a step forward and gestured with her right hand. Moments later, an image materialized on the screen before everyone, displaying the four Archdemons, "Most of the colossal demons attacking many cities had been dealt with, but the most dangerous ones such as these four formed separate legions, wreaking havoc across Mindanao and were spreading fast."

"In less than an hour, half of Mindanao is already burned down and the total of casualty number already reached tens of millions," she continued, "Multiple nuclear strikes were attempted against those four demons, but just like the Demon Lord, they were able to intercept the bombs before they could reach their targets, along with their demon army."

Emperor Maximo clenched his fists in frustration. The situation was dire, and their conventional tactics were proving ineffective against such formidable adversaries.

[I've heard the elf had some ability to measure a creature's Magic... Counts?] the Prime Minister queried on one of the television screens.

"Yes, she does," Amelia nodded solemnly. "Among her many skills is the ability to measure the amount of Magicules on magical creatures at a molecular level with perfect precision. One monster she inspected was a giant sea creature with a Magic Count ranging from 200,000 to 300,000. It survived a kiloton nuclear bomb but eventually succumbed due to its injuries. This indicates that creatures from the Transcendent Tier 2 onward can potentially withstand nuclear-level bombs. Transcendent Tier 3 entities may possibly even withstand high-yield ones."

[Do we have information on the power levels of those four demons?] the President inquired next.

"According to the Elf Queen Melian, she managed to inspect these four demons and gather information," Amelia continued. "The demons depicted here had Magicule Levels ranging from 1,000,000 to 10,000,000. All Transcendent Tier 3 entities, or Marquis-ranks in the demon's power level."

"Such high numbers... Are we even confident enough to fight such monsters?" a high-ranking military officer interjected.

"It's possible," Amelia replied with a sigh. "But only if we continue to rely on nuclear weapons just to have a fighting chance."

"Amelia. What about the Demon Lord?"

This time, it was the Emperor who asked.

When the subject of the Magicule Count for the Demon Lord came up, Amelia momentarily paused and even bit her lips hard.

Sensing the weight of everyone's gaze upon her, she finally spoke in a solemn voice, "According to Melian's examination, the Demon Lord's Magicule Count is estimated to be around 17,000,000 to 18,000,000, possibly even as high as 22,000,000 or more. While the exact figure isn't certain, it undoubtedly explains why even a 30-megaton nuclear bomb had little effect on him."

"..."

Silence, complete silence.

Listening to Amelia's report, the entire office fell into complete silence.

Facing four beings capable of wiping out cities and shrugging off nuclear bombs with Magicule Counts between 1,000,000 and 10,000,000 was horrifying enough, but facing a being with an estimated 20,000,000 Magicule Count was too overwhelming.

This categorization meant that the Demon Lord was internationally recognized as a Catastrophic Class entity. In this world, Catastrophic Class denoted a level of power so immense that not even a coalition of a hundred nations would be sufficient to defeat it. Even if every nuclear weapon were detonated simultaneously against the Demon Lord, it would likely only injure him, not kill him.

It meant that this Demon Lord was internationally recognized as a Catastrophic Class existence. And Catastrophic Class in this world meant not even a gathering of a hundred nations were enough to defeat one.

Probably even if they detonate all of their nuclear weapons at once against the Demon Lord, it would not be enough to kill him but instead merely injure him.

However, it doesn't make any difference compared to the other four, and Emperor Maximo could only sigh in resignation.

"So to say, we are facing literal Gods, right?"

"I suppose so, yeah," Amelia replied solemnly.

While addressing the room, Emperor Maximo man could not help but self-deprecatingly say, "Up until now, our nation has only a little over ten thousand tanks, 9980 armored vehicles, and only 5110 fighter jets of various types, not counting the damaged ones. As for the remaining artillery, how many do we have left?"

"You! Yes, you! Stand up and answer me loudly!"

Under the Emperor's commanding voice, a panicked young man rose to his feet, trembling as he looked around the room before answering in a hesitant manner, "Approximately 12,000, and that's just recently, due to countless factories being immediately used for military production day and night."

"Good, that's excellent."

Hearing this shocking figure, the Emperor's face twisted into a grimace. He pointed his fingers accusingly one after another at everyone in the room and fiercely stated, "But it ain't enough! We've exhausted hundreds of explosive ammunition and thousands of men over a single giant lizard, but we have hundreds of creatures far stronger right in our doorsteps. We are only our own as our allies such as the People's State of Xinhua and many nations from the separate Soviet Union are a dimension away and unable to provide support. Tell me, does anyone understand what fate awaits our nation? How long will it even last against this enemy?"

In the face of the Emperor's intense questioning, no one dared to speak up. It was a question of life and death, and no one dared to speak as the weight of the impending doom silenced them all.

Then, breaking the deathly silence, Amelia's voice rang out, cutting through the tension, "We will run out of manpower and ammunition. Given the enemy's speed and our dwindling resources, the time we had left for the nation to be destroyed entirely will be estimated to be more than a few days, or maybe less."

"Haaaa...~" Maximo heaved a sigh as he comprehended the predicament, "...That is correct."

He had been trying his best to avoid this question, but now, someone had to just bring this up at this moment.

"So, are you saying our last hope is about to be shattered?" A bitter smile appeared on another politician's face while clutching his head, feeling a sense of despair.

However, after a prolonged silence, as if making a certain decision, Emperor Maximo lifted his head and cast a glance at the crowd before letting out a deep sigh.

"No, not exactly. We have the Archangels Unit deployed in the field. Project Extermināta is nearing completion. And besides that, instead of relying solely on nuclear and conventional weapons, we should consider something new."

"What do you propose, your Majesty?" the Prime Minister inquired.

"I should say we seek help from this Elf Queen," Emperor Maximo declared, "She was able to effortlessly slain a monster that shrugged everything we threw at it. She was even knowledgeable about these monsters. If we want to have a chance against them, we need all the help we can get, such as her. And fortunately, getting her help is not much of a problem as she expressed the same goal as us. If we help each other's problems, we may secure the first alliance with a foreign nation in this world."

"What role do you envision for her against this enemy?" the Prime Minister pressed further.

"...I say we should send her to Marawi City," Emperor Maximo stated firmly.

His suggestion sparked immediate protests from everyone in the room, but he quickly raised a hand to calm them down.

"Your majesty, are you certain with your decision of sending her to these ultranationalist zealots?" questioned one of the politicians with concern.

Emperor Maximo understood the reservations of his advisors, even those who typically supported his decisions.

The city in question, Marawi City, had once been a thriving Muslim community until it fell under occupation by insurgents and terrorists in 1997. After months of intense battle and conflict, a certain military division was deployed and easily dealt with the terrorist and reclaimed the city with minimal casualties.

Since then, Marawi City had become a stronghold for one of the nation's most deadliest and controversial military divisions.

The 19th Black Armored Division.

Infamously known as the "Dark Roman Templars."

This division consisted of anonymous individuals with extreme right-wing views, including Filipino ultranationalists, hardcore Christian conservatives, and members from various alt-right groups, some of whom espoused fascist and supremacist ideologies.

One perfect controversial example of supremacist ideologies is...

Brown Supremacy.

Despite their status as a hate group disliked by the masses, they were surprisingly more competent in military operations than any military divisions and fiercely loyal to the Empire, or rather, only loyal to the old and traditions of the Imperial Maharlika, which once was known as the Republic of the Philippines.

He is lucky to have managed to negotiate a personal agreement with their Major General years ago, or else he will have to face another rebellion group.

"I am certain," Emperor Maximo replied firmly. "Our drones have reported a significant enemy presence near Lake Lanao, and she is our only hope to defend the motherland. While I share your concerns about her safety within this division, my greatest worry lies with their commanding officer."

Knowing who the Emperor was referring to, most of the people in the office gulped in nervousness. Known to all present, the leader of the 19th Black Armored Division was a figure that even the politicians or even the higher echelons of the Austronesian Empire felt huge caution on him.

Nevertheless, they knew time was running out and didn't have any decision left, thus they all immediately agreed to the Emperor's decision.

"Amelia," Emperor Maximo called out the woman on screen.

"Yes, your majesty?"

"I need you to accompany our little elf friend to them," he instructed solemnly. "And make sure you do not let them do anything to her."

Amelia nodded in acknowledgement, "As you wish, Your Majesty."
