Meanwhile,

'I wonder where Mr Sano is..... there were a lot of spacemen here.' Osaragi said sitting on a spacemen's corpse

Osaragi heard footsteps and looked up.

"A reindeer....." osaragi said confused

"Oh to what do I owe the honour?" The reindeer asked

"Mr Sano asked me to wait here...." Osaragi said looking around for me

"The order.... What do the association lapdogs want with us." The reindeer questioned

"Sorry I'm late I bumped into some slight inconveniences. I had to go pee." I said chucking the bodies of the dead bosses at the reindeer

The reindeer looked at the bodies and started crying

"You made the reindeer sad." Osaragi said looking at me

"They started it." I say nonchalantly

"All those poor souls you've slaughtered with no regard. Don't you care about their feelings? Those poor people..." the reindeer said lifting up his mask and tugging at one of the stitches on his arms

"Those who have no respect for human life don't deserve to be called assassins." The reindeer said with his arm transforming into a bunch of blades

"Don't they kill a bunch of people too." Osaragi said

"Right. I doubt he'll tell us anything about his boss. But I didn't expect him to." I say

I take out my phone and call Shishiba

"You in position?" I ask

"Next time don't call me for such boring things." Shishiba said annoyed sat in the surveillance room

"You have the most important job." I say before hanging up before lighting a ciggy

"The boss?! This was all a distraction! Nevermind you shall still die." The reindeer says with a cold anger

"All my acts are bidden by the master. Therefore making my acts permissible."

The reindeer dashed at me with his blade hand. I sigh before sidestepping. Sakamoto was right, reliance on weapons really does make you a third rate assassin.

"Your boss sounds pretty cool. We could be friends." I say shoving my knife through his heart, before dragging it diagonally downwards. When the dude's eyes turn white I pull my knife out

I take my knife out before turning to leave. Osaragi follows behind me

"How do you do that Mr Sano?" Osaragi asks

"Do what?" I ask

"Make your eyes glow." She answers

"Who knows. It was like that since I was at the orphanage." I muse

As we were walking away I hear a sound behind us. I turn to see Kashima fixing his tie

"Sorry. I don't have a heart any-." Kashima explains

CRASSSHH

"That's gotta hurt." I say wincing as Sakamoto lands on Kashima

"You're like a magnet for trouble Sakamoto." I say amused

"Sakamoto..... So you're the legendary assassin. The only one to injure X." Kashima said

"Who's that?" Sakamoto says confused

"The boss of their little group." I say

"I don't know why you're here, but I know I must kill you quickly and present you to the master. Then he'll praise me. Tee hee hee!" Kashima says creepily

"Ew." I say weirded out

Then he activates the other mechanisms in his body. A gun barrel comes out his mouth and another gun came out of his other arm

"He looks tough." Sakamoto says

Kashima dashes at Sakamoto and uses some tentacles coming out of his body to grab his shirt. He then charges up the gun in his mouth and prepares to fire. The tentacles are unable to hold Sakamoto's weight and break allowing him to jump away from the laser beam's trajectory.

"We've got stuff to do. This'll be good training for you Sakamoto." I say waving goodbye before leaving

Sakamoto just looks unamused before going back to fighting Kashima. Kashima continues to try and land hits on Sakamoto but to no avail

"all you do is dodge. Pathetic." Kashima spits

"My friend cares about this lab. Kindly see yourself out." Sakamoto says

"Your special friend. He's probably already dead!" Kashima says

Sakamoto takes a pen out of his apron pocket and shoves it down the barrel choking it up, causing it to blow up in Kashima's mouth.

"You talk too much." Sakamoto says nonchalantly

Meanwhile, Shin and Heisuke fight the invisible man. They manage to win the fight by Keisuke shooting at a water pipe. The water sprays all over The invisible man, allowing Shin to see him and easily take him down. After they take him down an explosions can be heard

"It's begun. This place is rigged to blow up, in case the order find us. You have 20 minutes before this whole place is gone." Kashima says confidently

"5 will be more than enough. I have weapons too y'know" Sakamoto says taking some bits and bobs out of his pocket. He has a coin, a receipt and some vouchers

Sakamoto flicks the coin in one of Kashima's eyes before sticking the half off voucher to his other eye blinding him, allowing Sakamoto to land a punch which sends kashima flying through a wall into a subway tunnel. After some more back talk from Kashima, he releases more tentacles from his arm and wraps around Sakamoto before slamming him into the rails. Sakamoto uses a railroad as a surfboard and flies towards kashima. He uses a nail to cut the tentacles constricting him before swinging him into a subway train.

Kashima needs a moment to regain his bearings.

"Now where is he hiding." Kashima says not aware that a skinny sakamoto is sat right beside him

And you know what happens next. An all out pummenling. By the end of the fight Kashima is thoroughly traumatised. Sakamoto drags an unconscious kashima out of the railway station and calls Shin telling him he took care of the boss.

"Oh and the labs gonna collapse in 15 minutes by the way." Sakamoto says

"LEAD WITH THAT!" Shin says panicking

Back with me and Osaragi,

"Are you sure the teddy bear will be okay?" Osaragi asks

"He's a strong teddy bear." I say without hesitation

We reach the surveillance room where Shishiba is.

"Found him?" I ask while Osaragi destroys rubble

"Who do you think I am." Shishiba says scooting over to show Kashima talking to a person in a white suit

"This is why I gave you this job." I say patting his back

"You just couldn't be bothered to do it yourself." Shishiba says annoyed

"Maybe. But all that matters is we have a face, albeit a blurry one." I say smiling

"Can we go? I'm tired of slicing rubble." Osaragi asks

"Sure let's go." I say

"They're dead men walking." Shishiba says getting up

As we go to leave I feel an overwhelming amount of bloodlust coming from the building.

"What? Need to shit or something?" Shishiba asks

"Maybe." I say ignoring it and running out of the building after them

Timeskip(Couple hours)

I was on my way to Sakamoto's house to pass him the photo of X that we got. Technically it's classified information, but as a great philosopher(Akao) once said, it's not a crime if you don't get caught. I walk into his convenience store and steal a bag of sweets before going upstairs to his house. I see the door is open so I just walk in. I see that they're all eating dinner and chatting animatedly. Most importantly Aoi is there. So I turn to leave

I'll just put it in the letterbox.

Sakamoto noticed me.

"Sano. Come eat." Sakamoto says

"Eh? No... its fine... I just needed to drop something off.... I won't disturb you." I say not expecting that, the only group means I have are with the order and those don't really count.

"No no it's no trouble at all. There's more than enough food. A friend of Taro is a friend of mine." Aoi says insisting

"Yeah! You helped us a bunch at the museum. You fre-" Lu was stopped by Shin covering her mouth

"Yeah you're very knowledgeable on science and stuff." Shin says

"Really?Can you help Hana with her science homework." Hana asks

"Eh.... well.... fine I'll stay." I say going to take a seat next to Shin

I take a bowl and put some rice and meat in it.

"So anyone care to tell me what happened to all of you? You're all a mess." Aoi asks lightheartedly

"Well.... we had quite a day at the museum." Shin said

Lu had somehow managed to fall asleep within 3 seconds, Hana was sharing with her dad about her day at school. And there was some weird dude with a parrot on his head. Shin took advantage of Lu sleeping and took her shrimp, causing the 2 to start bickering. Sakamoto imagines bashing the 2's heads together causing Shin to stop. I just sit there silently eating the food, watching the chaos unfold. I've never had a non business group meal in my life so I don't really know how to act.

"Hey. Your friends with Taro from school right. " Aoi asked me

"Huh? Oh yeah... wait you know?" I say confused I thought she would of asked me to leave if she knew I was still an active assassin.

"Of course I know my husband's only friends from school." Aoi says giggling

"I see.... What're you feeding Sakamoto by the way.... how does he get fat so fast." I muse

"Meals filled with love." Aoi said with a chuckle

After dinner,

"Here this is a picture of X. Just keep an eye out. " I say patting the envelope against Sakamoto's chest

Sakamoto takes out the picture to take a look before nodding.

"Thanks Sano." Sakamoto says

"Yeah. Go do some push ups or something..... and thanks for dinner I guess..." I say before waving him off and leaving.

Sorry I know there hasn't been many fights with Sano in. There will definitely be more later down the line. 🙏
