Right now Satoda-sensei was explaining the task for today. It was a simple urban operation. Each of the 16 students got a paintball gun and the goal was to be the last man standing. But Satoda being Satoda dragged on explaining that we weren't allowed to cause excessive damage to the surrounding building or put civilians in harm's way.

Nagumo dozed off before Satoda started explaining. Sakamoto was just staring out the window. sometimes I wonder what's on that guy's mind. And of course Akao was smoking a cigarette.

"Let me try my luck. Neh Akao why don't you stop smoking it smells like shit." This was probably the 20th time I asked but to no avail. I only ask now to see what new interesting response Akao comes up with

"It's getting old Ryu. Here try a stick." She says shoving a ciggy in my face

"Says you. I'll never touch a cigarette." I said whacking it away

"Hey! That was like 3 bucks." Akao said pouting

"Sigh* When will I be free of this person." I 'whisper' to myself

"Hey! I heard that! For your information, I'll never leave you. Rion Akao is a loyal person." She says puffing her chest out

"Yay......" I say sarcastically

"Ok. The exercise starts........... now!" Satoda-sensei announces

"What are we meant to do?" Akao says puzzled before dodging an incoming paintball

"Where did they get the gun from." I say smaking a paintball away with a pen

Sakamoto rips out the curtain and uses it as a rope to steal the gun. He shoots the guy he stole it from before turning to us and begun shooting.

"OI! Not cool Sakamoto!" Akao said dodging all the paintballs

Nagumo is still fast asleep on his chair which is leant against the wall. A paintball flies at Nagumo's head but the chair he's on slips causing Nagumo to accidentally dodge the paintball Sakamoto shot. Nagumo gets up smirking

"Whoever's out first pays for lunch." Nagumo says before sliding behind a table

In no time 11 of the fodder students are eliminated.

The last fodder hid behind a desk in the starting room. I take a piece of blue tac off the wall before dashing and flipping over the table landing in front of him. He scrambles to try and shoot me but I jam his gun with the blue tac.

"Oh shit." I say taking cover behind a desk

The build up of pressure in the paintball gun causes it to explode. The four of us fly out of the room's windows in all different directions. All the eliminated fodder were covered in paint. Satoda sighs as she leads all the eliminated students to the roof.

The 4 of us battle around the city for a long time since none of us want to pay for lunch.

Akao seeing the other 3 are nowhere to be seen pouted before sitting on top of a train, taking out another cigarette and trying to light it. She tries multiple times but her lighter was out of gas. Akao shakes it with frustration hoping it would light. At that time Nagumo snuck up from behind and attempted to slice Akao with one of his many blades.

Akao's fast reflexes allow her to block it with her trusty knife

"Got a light Nagumo?" Akao asks looking up.

"Nope. Just this." Nagumo pulls out a gun and tries to shoot her

Akao palms it away before going for Nagumo's throat with her knife. Nagumo manages to redirect it with his arm. Akao pushes off Nagumo, creating some space between them. Before they can continue the train drives under a bridge. They temporarily stop fighting and swing through the windows into the cart below. Somehow Sakamoto managed to get into the same cart. He pulled off the handrails of the train before using it like a staff and swiping at the other two. He manages to graze Akao's head but Nagumo dodges.

"Ouch. That hurt Sakamoto." Akao said with a vein popping on her forehead

"Wow you're really into this Sakamoto. I'll make sure to order the most expensive thing when you lose." Nagumo teases

Sakamoto as usual just remains quiet, but in his head he's scanning the area watching out for the missing member of the group Ryu.

Akao sees a path to kill and follows it managing to land a strong kick on sakamoto's temple. Sakamoto quickly recovers and uses the loops of the handrails to catch Nagumo and Akao's arms before slamming them into the ground.

Meanwhile.

"Hmm. This should be a good spot." I form a box with my hands and look through it at the train

I was currently on a rooftop with a motorcycle I Hotwired. As well as two chains wrapped around my arms. It was time to test out if I like this weapon or not.

I rev the motorcycle before driving off the roof I'm on into the train carriage the gang was in. The force of the collision causes everyone to fly out the other side.

"Where'd you get that from?!" Akao said shocked

"I hot-wired it. Duh?" I say matter of factly

I launch my chain at sakamoto, having it perfectly wrap around Sakamoto's arm

"Get over here." I say pulling him towards me and punching him in the gut with my other fist wrapped in a chain

"Oooh that felt good." I say satisfied I landed a solid hit on sakamoto.

Before Sakamoto could counter I released the chain on his arm causing him to keep falling. I was prepared to go for my next target Akao who had two pistols pointed at me and Nagumo but a familiar voice rang through the air

"All of you come down now." Satoda said from the ground

All of us had the same deadpan expression on our faces as we continued to fall to the ground. She just had to ruin the fun.

The next thing we knew the 4 of us were in the vice principals office

"You're expelled." Was the first thing we heard

"Who? Oh it must be Ryu. He was the one who stole the bike. I had no part in it." Akao said pointing at me

"Wow. You snitch." I say flatly

"All 4 of you." The vice principal said

"Damaging facilities, ignoring class rules, using weapons without permission, theft, noise pollution. Those are just some of the things civilians reported to us. If I'm going down as vice principal you 4 are coming with me." The vice principal continued

"This is because you broke the handrail sakamoto and you stole a bike." Nagumo said jokingly

"I thought it was a weapon/ You should stop talking about my crime y'know, he's right here." Sakamoto/I say together

"We're just a bit more passionate about class than the rest of the fodder. If you expel me. My niece will stop talking to me." Akao said lighting a cigarette

"Akao no smoking!" The vp said about to lose his mind

"Don't bother. Trust me I've tried." I said defeatedly

"Whatever. You 4 don't have enough credits to pass. So I've assigned a special assignment to determine whether you pass or not. Trust me when I say I wish I could have expelled you instead, but you have Satoda-sensei to thank for advocating for you." The vp said passing me the folder

"Ok thanks." Akao said as the 4 of us walk out the room without listening to what the assignment is

In the office

"well explaining it wouldn't of changed anything I suppose." The vp shrugs as we walk off without listening to the details of the assignment

"That's rather evil of you sensei...... after all no one's ever came back alive from that mission before." Another teacher said

"I wouldn't be so sure." Satoda said appearing out of nowhere

"IF those 4 work together, there's nothing they can't kill." Satoda muses.

Back to the gang

"So there's only one target right. Rock paper scissors, loser does the homework." Akao says

"macho style?" Nagumo asks

"Duh?" Akao says blowing out a puff of smoke

"C'mon Sakamoto rock paper scissors." Akao whines

"Aw but solo assignments are no fun." Nagumo pouts

While this banter was going on. I was reading the mission details sat on the cafeteria table. The target was called silver dragon he was the leader of an illegal weapons manufacturing ring. There's intel that he hides out in the department store

Akao accidentally backs up into some white haired dude

"Oh excuse me." The guy says politely

"Who're you?" Akao says bluntly

Before she gets an answer she continues

"Wanna play rock paper scissors macho style?" Akao asks

"Huh. no......" The guy says confused

"Don't be mean Akao." Nagumo says

"Yeah."

"Bro to bro. You should stay as far from that woman as possible. She'll stick to you like a leech if you get too close. Not to mention she always smells of cigarettes." I say putting the assignment details down

"I'm not being mean. And you know you love me Ryu~" Akao said walking towards the exit

"Anyways let's get this crappy assignment over so we can go to the aquarium or something." Akao continued smoking her ciggy

"How cute." Nagumo said

Short timeskip

"What's this card for?" Sakamoto said looking at the black credit card given to them

"We get to use this any way we want while we're on this assignment." Akao said eyes sparkling

"You've never used one before Sakamoto?" I asked

He just shook his head. Gee would it kill him to speak a bit more

"Well looks like you'll lose your virginity today Sakamoto." Nagumo mused

"Mhm. You've missed out Sakamoto. Me and Ryu once chased a target to a horse race track so we got 2 front row seats to a horse race. It was deductible as an undercover expense." Akao said

"Good times. I remember you getting kicked by a horse when you went to pet it." I said

"Wait! You kids! I have one more team member for you." The vp said running after us

"Kei uzuki. Third year in the assassination department. Same as you." He continued

"Oh." Akao said recognising him

"You know him?" Nagumo asked

"Do you have short term memory?" I deadpanned at him

"You're that kid from earlier. You look like a nerd but you're actually a bad boy huh?" Akao said swinging her arm around Uzuki's shoulder

Uzuki swatted her arm away without saying anything

"PFFFFFTTT!" I creased at the scene

"Rejected!" Nagumo said with a whistle

"Good job Uzuki. Looks like you're listening to my wise advice." I said giving him a thumbs up

"Yeeesh! what a wet blanket?! I don't jive with this guy. This is why I like you so much Ryu." Akao said wrapping her arms around my neck

I mouthed help me to Uzuki who looked confused at this whole situation. A bead of sweat dripped down his head wondering what he just got into.

With that the 4 horseman of the apocalypse and an emo kid begun their journey to complete the treacherous assignment. What will happen to them? Find out in the next episode.
