"Vaishnavi, Will You Marry Me?", Arjun asked her, holding her close to his chest. He was really nervous as to what answer she will give him. His heart was beating louder than ever. He could also feel her heartbeat being louder and faster through her chest, which is now sticking to his. She felt like her whole world is doing a flip in happiness.

She, who has never thought of love and marriage in her life, who was not interested in flings nor boyfriends or whatsoever, who dedicated her whole life solely for her job of saving people and nothing else, who was never ever been asked out because no one had balls to do so, who thought she was scary to everyone and no one will choose her as their first priority, who thought she was entitled only to fight evil, who thought love has no place in her life, is getting proposed, By the most Perfect human being to ever exist in this entire universe. Her stomach was feeling something weirdly beautiful, like butterflies kissing her while playing around.

She scanned him from top to bottom, noticing that her earring was on his hair, cutely standing on the edge refusing to leave him. She smiled looking at that and locked eyes with the Archer, who was holding an anticipated expression. Her hands slowly travelled from his bare chest to his cheeks and lovingly held them. The whole thing was making them heat up, even in the stormy rain.

With tears getting mixed with that of rain drops, she told him the answer, which made him feel like the most ecstatic and luckiest person in all fourteen universes combined.

"Yes!"

He smiled uncontrollably at her answer and pulled her more closer towards him, leaving now space between them. She continued, "Arjun! I Love You! I love you more than you think! Oh Greatest Archer in the entire universe! You have successfully aimed and hit your arrow at my heart, which is pierced now with your arrow and now it's profusely bleeding with unconditional love for you! Oh son of Lord Indra! You are my Lord, and I worship your existence alone like no other will! Maybe, as you said, I am born for you! To be with you! To make you feel happy during sad times! And make you feel secure in happy times! To spend my mornings thinking about you! To spend my evenings yearning for you! To spend my nights in your arms! And wake up in those same arms! To make love to you! To be your forever! To always get lost in the ocean of your eyes! I love you! I love you, Arjuna! My Arjuna! I Promise you that I will never make your heart feel lonely as long as this heart is beating. I Promise you that I will never leave you! I promise! I don't care if you are rich or poor right now! Even though you are financially poor, you are rich by your heart! I just want you to be mine, Arjuna! All of you! My love! I will! I will marry you!".

Overwhelmed, they both hugged like the world was going to end, and were not ready to leave each other. They wanted to be each other's, then and there! They soon broke the hug and Arjun looked at her intently, with full of love for her, desire for her. She was unable to bear his gaze and close her eyes, waiting for his lips to touch hers. He soon kissed on her forehead and lingered his lips there for some time.

As soon as he separated from her, she pushed him lightly with a little disappointed look, and turned her face away, pouting. He did not understand why she was disappointed, and what he did.

He asked her, "What happened, Vaishnavi? Did I do something wrong? If yes, I'm extremely sorry!", he said in a pleading tone. She turned towards him and slightly hit his chest playfully and said, "You are always like this!". He did not understand a single thing and was going crazy, meanwhile she was hiding her laughter.

"I- I am sorry! Please tell me what I did!", he said concerned. She sharply looked at him and started to push him back while speaking, "Huh! You don't know?? How? You always come near me! Create a romantic environment! And just when I think that you would kiss me-", now he hit his back to the tree, and she locked him with her hands at both his sides and said, "You never kiss! I'm enough of this bullshit man!".

He looked at her and asked confused, "But- But, I just kissed you! Now!". She gave him a 'really' look, "You call that a Kiss?". He said, still confused, "Yea?". She sighed and told him, "Oh my! You are too innocent! Don't worry! I will teach you how you do it!", saying, she held his chin by her hand and pulled him towards her by his waist using other hand. He was just shocked at what she was doing, but let it happen anyways. She slowly traced his jawline and kissed both his cheeks sensuously. He just closed his eyes in ecstasy, unable to handle the heat eradicating from her. "First you kiss my cheeks, then-", she made him look at her by holding his hair and kissed dangerously near his lips, but not touching them skillfully, "You tease me like this!".

His mind was going against this, but his heart wanted something else, which was exactly against his mind. Controlling himself, he wanted to speak and stop, but her hands playing with his hair and circling on his waist created a volcano inside him. She was kissing his whole face, except for his lips, deliberately. He was getting impatient on when she will kiss him and switched positions with her, pushing her to the tree. She smirked and closed her eyes, as he held her by the cheek and her waist, coming closer to her.

But he opened his eyes for a moment in realisation and said, "Vaishnavi! I think we should not do this until our wedding! I don't thi-", he started blabbering again, causing her to open her eyes in frustration. She held his dhoti from his waist and pulled him towards her and locked his lips with hers, cutting him off of his blabbering.

He was shocked at first, but eventually gave in, his heart totally thrashed his mind right now. They were kissing each other deeply and slowly, trying to dominate each other. They did not care about the world at this point, as they were so lost in each other's lips. Even though he tried to stop himself, the rain and her bosom touching his chest were not helping the situation at all. She was totally having control over the situation, and also his mind and heart. He did not care about anything anymore as his mind was now filled with desire for her. His hand travelled to her chest, and slowly to her cheeks, while the other one held her hand tightly, making the chain fall off her hand. She hit his chest, indicating to stop while opening her eyes and slowly broke the kiss, trying to breath.

With their noses touching each other's, she asked him while catching for oxygen, "You were saying something? Wait until marriage?", to which he just chuckled and pecked on her lips continuously. "You are mine! Just mine!", he said adamantly. She smiled at his cuteness and kissed his forehead caressing his hair.

Soon, she noticed that the chain in her hand fell down. She wanted to bent down and take it, but Arjun took it off from the ground for her. He held it in his hands and asked her, "Is it my Purple cloth? You still have it? But, i don't think it is still-", he trailed off looking at the chain.

She said excitedly, "Yeah! It was torn Arjun! By that stupid Ashwathama! But Draupadi made it into a beautiful chain, you know?". As the rain slowly stopped, they both came out from under the tree and went towards the idol and sat on a rock there.

"This chain is beautiful!", he was in awe of that chain. As he was examining the chain, she noticed how he appeared pale and thin. She immediately side hugged him and told in a sad voice, "Why did you go on a penance? For me?". To which he looked at her and said, "I would go through any hell for you!". She sadly smiled in adoration and hugged him back.

Trying to tie the chain back at her wrist, he asked her, "By the way! How did you know that I was in penance as well?". She lifted her head up to look at him and said, "Oh, I know everything! If I don't know?", she deliberately left the sentence for him to complete it, "Then nobody knows!", he smilingly completed. The chain was refusing to go back to her hand, even after a lot of tries from his side.

He lightly pecked on her forehead and asked her again, "No, seriously- How did you know?". She looked at him and said sincerely, "Arjun! How do you think I was safe until the end of the penance? Because of you! You were my driving force, Arjun! Because you ate food, I was full. Because you had a good sleep, I was not tired. Even for me to get out of my realisation, Kanha had to put this handkerchief of yours in fire, I went inside of it to retrieve bac-", but she was cut off by a tensed Arjun. "What? You went inside Fire? How many times I have to tel-", he started rambling again. She sighed and pecked his lips to stop him.

Every time he tried to speak, she pecked him again and again. He soon gave in and smiled closing his eyes. She whispered to him, "By the way! You look hot in this rugged look!". He opened his eyes and blushed really hard, but soon that blush was replaced with disappointment.

Frustrated, he said, " Ugh! I'm unable to put this chain in your hand!". She took that out of his hands and said, "Don't worry! We will look into this! I have to leave now Arjun. Everyone must be waiting for me!", She said sadly.

He nodded understanding, and they both got up. "I will meet you here tomorrow, at this same place and time!", she said and turned to go, but he held her wrist and stopped her. She looked at him and raised her eyebrows, as in asking him what happened. He started saying, "You are missing something! Again!".

She got confused and started to look at herself to see if she left anything behind. He rolled his eyes and smiled, took her to the nearby river, and showed her the reflection. He kept his index finger on her forehead, indicating she was missing bindi. She looked at him smilingly, "Oh! If you have that much problem, Apply by yourself! Like you always do! You are my Kumkum applier here! hehe!". He widened his eyes smiling at her and asked, "Do you really know what-", she cut him off by saying, " I clearly know what I'm asking for, Arjun! After all, I agreed to marry you!", she said winking.

He went near the idol and saw there was goddess Parvati's idol was also present. He joined his hands and took some vermillion from the idol and went near her. She closed her eyes, and he applied a good amount of it on her forehead, making her smile wider. He hugged her and said, "I hope it's tomorrow already!". She separated from him and started going towards the palace. He saw her disappearing figure with a smile and went back to his place. Holding her chain near her heart, she had a million thoughts on her mind.

'Arjun proposed me! He really asked me to marry him! Adafdhjfkgllh I'm gonna faint with all the happiness! Eeeeeee!!!! I should tell this to Draupadi!'

Thinking all this, she entered the hall in Palace, where everyone were discussing an important matter. With a frown on her forehead, she went towards everyone, while a maid gave her a towel for her hair.

Drupad said, "I want my daughter Draupadi to marry Prince Arjun! He is the perfect match for her!". With that, Vaishnavi felt her world stopping for a moment. The chain she was holding in her hand, fell off her grip. She totally forgot that Arjun was destined to marry Draupadi! Her sister! Her everything! She, who has her promise of getting anything she wants anytime. She stood there dumbfounded and Draupadi immediately came and hugged her, while she could not reciprocate. "Ishu! I'm so happy! I'm getting married! To Prince Arjun! Everyone is saying that he is dead, but my heart is saying something else!". She looked at Krishna for answers, and he turned his head away with a sad expression.

She broke the hug and looked at Vaishnavi, who had an unreadable expression. "Sakhi! You have to be my bridesmaid at my wedding with Prince Arjun!", to which she could only smile half-heartedly. Draupadi saw that her chain was lying on the ground and picked it up for her. "I think it fell down! Ishwari!", she told and tried to tie it back on her hand, but every effort of her was in vain.

'Heh! No wonder why I am unable tie this chain to me anymore!
