"We should leave immediately, Kanha, Vaishu! Let's go!", Balram announced and left the hall of Indraprasth. The king of Shalva attacked Dwaraka, at night, and also he saw to that these three weren't present there. Thus, it is easy for him to attack. They didn't even have time to get ready or pack anything. They had to leave Indraprasth right then. As soon as Balram left to get his chariot ready, Krishna joined his hands towards Yudisthir and asked, "Emperor Yudisthir! With your permission, I would like to take my sister, the commander of Dwaraka, with us to the war!". Yudisthir nodded and said, "As you Please, Vasudev! Arjun, if you are okay with this?", and turned towards him. Arjun nodded with determination in his eyes for his wife, "Go ahead Madhav! And return back victorious!", and smiled confidently. Draupadi hugged her tightly, which she reciprocated, "You will see your son in your hands once you return!", and smiled at Vaishnavi.

Vaishnavi had to force her smile out , as she was being really unsure about the things happening now. She didn't want to leave them all stranded. Even though they are the most powerful empire in the whole Bharat vansh now, they still are very innocent. And she couldn't just trust Yudisthir with her sister and the remaining Pandavas. She knows exactly what will happen once they leave, and the situation is very much unfavourable towards her. She wanted to stop this anyhow, but she also has to safeguard her city, Dwaraka. She immediately looked at Arjun, who was looking at her smiling, but is smile dropped as soon as he saw her anxiety stricken face. Arjun asked her, "Can I talk to you for a second?", and left the place. She hesitantly smiled at everyone and said, "I- I'll be back, Kanha!", to which he nodded sadly, as he knows, what will happen.

In their chamber, both of them were hugging each other as if the world was going to end. He caressed her head and said, "Don't worry! You will win!", to which she broke the hug and said, "No! It's not about the war! I- I'm just-", she wanted to tell everything to him, but she was prohibited from doing so, and for the first time, she was cursing the destiny for bringing her there, Dwapar Yug, where she knows what happens and will not be able to do anything to stop it.

She held his cheeks and said intently, "Arjun! Just- Just promise me that- that you will never leave your wife's side! Ever!", to which he smiled and held her hands, "Of course I would never leave you-", she interrupted him by shaking her head, "Forget about me! I'm talking about Draupadi! Please! Even if the world goes against her, please! Never leave her side! Don't lower your head to Adharma!", she said, with her lips quivering. He held her and nodded,"Shh! Shh! It's okay! It's okay! I will!", for the first time, he did not understand his wife's behaviour, at why she was so anxious.

Krishna entered the chamber by knocking, "It's time!", and looked at them both sadly. She looked back at Arjun and smiled when he said, "I will miss you!". She hugged him once more and said, "I'll miss you too!", and left the place towards Simba, while Krishna went towards Arjun and said, "Remember her words, Parth!", and left the place too, making him confused at these siblings words.

"All set Duryodhan?", Shakuni asked his nephew, who was welcoming his brothers, Pandavas, to Hastinapur, who came for Duryodhan's friendly game of dice, along with their commom wife, Draupadi. She was weak as she gave birth to a son just a month ago. So, she was advised to take rest in the queen's chamber. Draupadi clearly did not like the looks all the Kauravas were giving her, and it kind of creeped her out, just as much as Sahadev did. As soon as they all went inside, Karn came and kept his hand on Duryodhan's shoulder, and asked, "Mitr! What if Vaishnavi arrives and spoils our plan?". Duryodhan smirked and said, "Mitr! You remember the day I fell in water and that- That wench!", he tightened his fists, so much so that his biceps ornament broke, "She laughed at me, along with this head weighted empress! I would never forget! That day Shalva came to us! And Shakuni mama planned an attack at Dwaraka along with him, so that she would be out of the scene when we carry out the plan!", and smirked.

Karn shook his head and said, "but, That still doesn't stop her! Remember she is a warrior! It takes a lot of soldiers to keep her away!". Duryodhan loudly laughed and said, "And that's why, my dear Mitr, I promised to give unlimited soldiers to Shalva, anonymously!"

***

For the past four months, the war has been in full swing. King shalva was getting an innumerable amount of help from some anonymous kingdom, which he was refusing to reveal. Vaishnavi was thrashing the soldiers out, while Krishna and Balram were fighting with many warriors as well. Vaishnavi sneaked into the area and tackled shalva, who was hiding from them.

She put him on the ground by her mace, and kept her sword on his neck. "Tell me! A small kingdom like yours! Having these many soldiers and such a big support! Tell me!", she roared, "Who is helping you?", and pressed her sword on his neck, making a cut and he started bleeding. He held the sword and cried, "I- I'll tell you! P- Please! Spare my life! Hastinapur's Prince! Duryodhan! He planned this attac-", he ears stopped working. She knew that he was up to something, but she didn't know that he would stoop this low. Now her mind was only filled with the thoughts of Draupadi, as she didn't have any communication with them, as she was only busy with this war, her fear just doubled. She just left Shalva, who took this as a chance to attack her, but Balram came and attacked him. He looked at his sister being very lost and going somewhere leaving him behind and gasped. Despite calling her for several times, she didn't respond. He forgot about it soon and started to fight Shalva, as that was their main priority, and was absolutely thrashing him away.

Stumbling, she went towards Krishna, who was there fighting with a very sad expression on his face, as if a part of him was dying. "NO- NO NO NO NO!", she did not like the expression he was holding there. The god of all three universes, had never appeared this sad, ever. She went on his chariot and shook him out of his trance, from which he came out soon, "Ishwari!". She asked with her voice trembling, "K- Kanha! What is happening with Draupadi? Tell me!".

Krishna smiled sadly, blinking his tears and kept his hand on her head, which she yanked away, "Tell me this instant, Kanha!", she shouted. He smiled sadly and said, "See by yourself!", and gave her Divya Drishti. She clearly saw what was happening in the fateful sabha of Hastinapura, the Dyut Sabha. She could see that Yudisthir lost everything, his treasury, his kingdom, his brothers and himself too. He was on the verge of losing Draupadi, which is when vaishnavi screamed, "Kanha! Do something! Please stop!", to which he replied agonizingly, "Ishwari! They didn't call me for help! None of them! And Samrat Yudisthir went into a mindset that he will win at any cost, ignoring me! Now, how can I go and help them unless and until I'm summoned? And this is meant to happen, Ishwari! Let it happen!".

By the time he spoke, she saw that Draupadi was being dragged into the court by her hair. "Nooo!", Vaishnavi screamed and looked at Krishna with blood shot eyes, "Kanha! Please!", she joined her hands and fell on her knees, "Send me there! I- I'll try to stop them!", she pleaded. He sighed and said, "You want to leave in the middle of the war?". Just then, the scream of Shalva dying was heard, so she wiped her tears quickly and proceeded to remove her armour, "P- Please Kanha! I've never asked anything from you, please!".

"ISHWARI! SAVE ME!", a helpless scream of Draupadi could be heard by them, as the empress of Aryavart thought that her husbands are of no use now, and that only her sister could save her. Vaishnavi looked at Krishna, who sighed and pointed his hands towards her, making her teleport to Hastinapur. As soon as she saw that she was in the dreaded city, she ran inside the hall, where basically everyone was going against Draupadi. "Stop, stop this nonsense! STOP!", she guarded Draupadi and looked at everyone accusingly, while they were looking at her in utter shock at how she managed to arrive there.

Draupadi looked at her sister and all her walls broke, as she cried like anything holding her. Vaishnavi held her back and said, "Krishnaa! What happened?", and looked at the Pandavas, who were just sitting there with their heads down. She looked at Arjun in a hopeful way, and thought that he would do something or something to stop whatever was happening, but he avoided her eye contact. Seeing this, her insides broke. The one person she trusted her sister with, had broken the trust and thrashed it away. She kept on looking at him for answers, but he completely looked down and joined his hands at her.

That's it. She didn't know who to believe anymore now. Women in this era really had to suffer a lot. And she cursed herself for believing a person who broke her promise not once, but twice. Chuckling bitterly at her fate, she felt something cold on her chest. She looked down to see that the purple chain had completely come out of her mangalsutra and was on the verge of breaking.

She took a deep breath angrily and looked at Yudisthir, "What is this nonsense, Samrat? What gave you the right to lose everyone of your brothers? And your wife? Answer me samrat!". Duryodhan scoffed and said, "What is all this drama about? Who gave you the permission to enter? No ladies are allowed except for the Dasis! And are you a dasi! And one more thing! Your Jyesth Yudisthir is not the emperor anymore! It's me! The great Duryodhan! So, leave this place right away!", he warned her.

She shook her head in disbelief and went towards Bheeshm, "Pitamah! Pitamah! Look what is happening! You really let all this happen? Please say something! Go against this Duryodhan! Condemn him! Please!", she pleaded with him, only to get silent tears as an answer. She immediately turned towards the Mahamantri Vidur, "Mahamantri! You are the personification of Lord Yama himself! Why- how- why did you let this happen? Tell me? A girl! A girl is facing adharma here! Please speak up!", and he gave the same response as Bheeshm. She went to Dron and Kripacharya, "Gurudev Dron! KulGuru! Please, please don't keep anything that I did to your son and go against me, please! Draupadi is like your daughter! Please! Say something! Why- Why is nobody saying anything!", she appeared so vulnerable, as she couldn't even stand straight with her knees giving up, which gave Duryodhan an unexplainable satisfaction.

Wiping her tears away, She then sprinted towards the king Dhritarastra, "Your highness!", she joined her hands towards him, "Please order your son to stop all this nonsense! Otherwise,- Otherwise you all have to fight against me!". Irritated, Dhritarastra sneered, "Ugh! Nonsense? What my son does is nonsense? And how dare you warn us and call us for a fight? Huh? Yudisthir! How is she even related to whatever is happening here! Tell her to leave!", he ordered.

She shouted, "YOU ARE NO ONE TO ORDER ME AROUND!". Duryodhan stood up from his seat and said, "How dare you talk against my father? The king himself? Huh? Get out of this place this instant! Hey! Das Yudisthir! Order your family to get out of this place!". Yudisthir did not want that one person to leave, who was going against whatever was happening there. Looking at him, Shakuni smiled evilly at him and said, "What is it, the epitome of Dharma? Aren't they right? Ask her to leave!".

Yudisthir, blinking his tears away, said, "Leave Vaishnavi! I beg you!", he joined his hands at her. She shook her head widening her eyes, "Have you lost it, Jyesth! No way! Trust me! We will fight this, and we will win!". Bheem roared up and said, "She is right, Bhratashree! We all will fight-", but Karn interrupted him, "Das bheem! Your voice is raising! You know what is the punishment if any servant turns against their master right? And we will give that punishment to your brother, not you! And he would no fight against it, like you adharmi! Afterall, he is the epitome of Dharma right? Hahaha!", the Kaurava brothers started to laugh at them.

Bheem looked at Vaishnavi and shook his head with utmost broken face, and went to his place to kneel down. Vaishnavi couldn't tolerate this and said, "You guys! I will fight! Im not your dasi! And if I go against you, you give punishment to me, not him! Am I right? Fight me!", she challenged, but her words have Karn an idea. Shakuni held his dice tightly in his hands and said, "Yudisthir! She herself is claiming that she is not related to you! Then- how can she fight for you? Ask her to leave! This is Adharma!". Vaishnavi looked at Shakuni sharply, making him stumble a bit, as she understood that he was playing mind games, and was early winning.

Karn immediately said before Yudisthir could ask her to leave, "No! Wait! You said you are not related to him now! Right? and You want to fight? So do one thing! You can fight with us, ONLY when he himself accepts that he has right on you!", to which she immediately agreed and said, "Jyesth! Please agree! Agree that you have right on me!". Yudisthir looked at her and shook his head saying, "How can I, Vaishnavi! I don't have any right on you!". Karn smirked and said, "You sure? Remember, you gave my Mitr a promise! That you will get him married to Vaishnavi! What right did you have back then?", making Yudisthir lower his head at realisation. The realisation of them trapping her into this, and his hands were tied to be bound to Dharma.

"Y- Yes!", his voice trembled, "She is my family, and I have total right on her!", Yudisthir whispered out. Karn them smirked, held his friend's shoulder and said, "As you say that you have right on her, Das Yudisthir, Stake her on the game!".
