"Stake her in the game", making everyone widen their eyes in shock, Karn smirked at her. Arjun stood up from the place and screamed, "Karn! Don't make me kill you now!", with Bheem, Nakul and Sahadev standing with him. He continued, "She is not some object to stake, she is my wife! And my brother has no right to stake her!", he screamed so much with agony in his voice. Shakuni cleared his ears and said, "Eh! Done Arjun? How can you say that he doesn't have any rights on her? If he has rights on you, he automatically has rights on whatever things you own! Isn't it?", and closed his one eye.
Yudisthir couldn't look up at everyone, especially her. Vaishnavi was just looking at the events unfolding there, slowly losing all her attachments with everyone and everything. "Start the game", Yudisthir said in a low voice, making all his brothers look at him with a horrified expression. Arjun looked at him unbelievably and said, "Jyesth! If you roll the dice against my wife, i swear to god I'll burn those very hands which rolled the dice!". Karn said, "Hey! You are a servant now! How dare you go against your master? Sit back down!". Draupadi screamed as well, "Samrat Yudisthir! Don't you dare do it! You already lost me! You have no right to lose my sister!".
Duryodhan interrupted her, "Das Yudisthir! Do as I say! Do you really want to go against Dharma? This was your promise that you will do whenever I want! Remember?", and smirked at him. Yudisthir slowly spoke, "Please, Roll the dice!", with depression glooming over him. Draupadi cried as the game started and Yudisthir was losing miserably, "Why isn't anyone saying anything against this? Have you all gone blind? In the pretext of Dharma, this adharmi Duryodhan is playing with my family!", but Duryodhan held her by her hair and growled, "How dare you talk against me, Dasi?".
Soon after, he felt a jolt of power attack and pushed him in a very dangerous way, that made him go fall near the king's seat, making the seat crack a little because of the concession. He looked up and saw that Vaishnavi just punched him so hard, that there was a huge wound near his ribs. "Lay one more finger on her, you will die! To even touch her, you have to cross me!", she growled at him, and everyone. "Don't 8 dare!", she warned everyone. She turned around and saw that Yudisthir had lost her too.
Duryodhan laughed menacingly and got up from the ground, "Dasi Vaishnavi! Hahaha!". With that, every other Kaurava brother laughed looking at her, meanwhile the Pandavas were clenching their fists unable to do anything. Karn asked Duryodhan, "What punishment will be good for these, Unchaste women, Mitr?", making them both look at him. He darkened his eyes and went towards Vaishnavi and told, "You called me outsider, right? Now, who is below me? Huh?", he growled. She looked at him expressionless and flickered her fingers. In an instant, everyone in the hall fell back due to the power, with her holding Draupadi from falling.
"No one! Absolutely no one, Karn! In fact, everyone is below me now! Below me, you retards!", she roared. Duryodhan stood up and warned her, "You!!! Vaishnavi! You don't know what I could do with you now-", she laughed interrupting him, "Huh! What you will do to me? You can't even pluck a hair from me, Duryodhan! You want to see? I can burn down this whole hall now! NOW! you want me to do?", and closed her eyes.
Dhritarastra stood up from his seat and pleaded with joined hands, "Please - Please don't do it putri! I- I beg you! Please!", Duryodhan looked at his father dumbstruck. This has fueled his revenge more and started to shout, but shakuni intervened, stopping him. He whispered, "My dear Duryodhan! When the other side is physically strong, beat them with your mental strength!", and closed his one eye. Duryodhan thought about it and said smirking, "Yudisthir! See what's happening! Adharm in front of your eyes! If she goes even one more extent of hurting us, I'll punish yo-", he didn't complete his sentence and vaishnavi shouted, "Hey, dumbass! I don't care about him anymore! I... will cut you into pieces... And feed you to my horse if you don't close that shithole of your mouth!", she warned.
Duryodhan went towards her and shouted, "If you don't stop, I'll punish these Dasis to such an extent-", but got interrupted by her scoffing, who went eye to eye with him, "Heh! I don't care about these guys anymore! I only care about my sister! And you try to harm her; You die, Duryodhan! In a worst way possible! You do whatever you want with these five unknown people to me! I don't care if you punish them, exterminate them or kil-", but she could complete her sentence as she remembered that they are her sisters husband.
She turned around and proceeded to go out of the hall, holding Draupadi's hand. But Kauravas and Karn went in front of her and blocked her way. She scowled, "Huh! Looks like you all have a death wish, huh?", and proceeded to emit her power out, pushing Draupadi aside slowly. Now, Shakuni started speaking, "Go on! Destroy us! Destroy this whole hall! And what would you do after killing us here? Did you even think about what will happen after that! What will happen to your sister, Dear Vaishnavi!", and closed his one eye.
She stopped at his words and turned around to look at him, seeking explaination. He continued while walking towards her, as his plan was working, "You are doing all this to safeguard her! What do you think people are going to do after this? Huh? Nobody, clearly nobody knows what happened here! Unless and until you guys go out after receiving the punishment, no one's going to believe you if you tell what happened here! You know what they will say? That this weird girl, sister of Samragyi Draupadi, has destroyed Hastinapur, so that her sister could rule this land as well!". Vaishnavi widened her eyes and Draupadi looked at him with a furious expression as he continued, "People will start hating her! They will throw mud on her! Boycott her! Even if she wouldn't be remembered as the Samragyi, in history, she will be remembered as the cunning woman, who, with the help of her sister, and her five husbands, had acquired this whole empire; She will be Adharma! The epitome of Adharma for the coming 100, 1000, 10000, 100000 years; No woman would want to be like her; She will be tagged a mole in Kuru Vansh history; Mark my words, she will, definitely, stand as the epitome of an unideal woma-", by then, Vaishnavi tightly closed her ears and screamed, "STOP!", Sending shockwaves throughout the hall.
She opened her eyes slowly, her aura of power which was surrounding her, had come down. She looked at Draupadi and shook her head. Draupadi came forward and said, "Ishwari! I don't care what the future generation think about me! I would give all of me to your sake! Please-", but Vaishnavi kept her hand on her lips and shook her head, "No! You are supposed to be the example of how an ideal woman should be!".
Karn scoffed and said, "Huh! Ideal woman! Tch! A woman, who married 5 men, is called an ideal woman? NO! You know what she is called, Vaishnavi? A prostitute! She will be called a prostitute! You know how a prostitute would be? There will be no difference if she has clothes on her; or not! And you call her and ideal woman? Huh? If she will be disrobed, right now, will she still be called an ideal woman? Tell me?". Vaishnavi looked at him and growled lowly, "MIND. YOUR. FUCKING. TONGUE! KARN!!".
Duryodhan scowled and screamed, "You mind your tongue when you talk with my friend, you wench! What he said was right! She should not be called an ideal woman! Dushasan! Disrobe this Draupadi and bring her near my thigh!". Everyone in the hall became silent hearing the nonsense words uttered by Duryodhan. Every Pandava felt their blood boiling and they all stood up at one go. Bheem roared, "Dushasan! I already promised you that only with your blood, I will tie the disheveled Draupadi's hair! I will make another promise! If you even touch any of these women, I swear to god, I will kill you in an unthinkable way, and will drink down your blood!". Arjun roared, "Karn! How dare you talk about my wives like that? I will exterminate your existence from this earth!". Duryodhan brushed them off and said, "What is it Dushasan? Go and do what I said!". Dushasan proceeded to go towards her, but vaishnavi came in front of her, stopping him from going near her. "One more step, Dushasan! And you won't be able to walk for your life!".
Bheeshm stood up and cried, "Stop this Adharm, Maharaj! Please!". Dron and Kripacharya joined him as well, "Maharaj! Stop this terrible incident from happening! We beg you!". Vidur cried, "Maharaj! Bhratashree!!! Stop this please! You are not just blinded physically; you are blinded mentally as well because of your love for your sons! Please! Open your wisdom eye and don't let this happen to these innocent women!". Duryodhan shouted, "If things don't go according to me, Pitashree, i will self immolate!", making Dhritarastra shreik in fear. So, he announced, "Whatever happens here, will go only according to my son! And none of you! NONE OF YOU, will leave this place or go against him! This is my order as the king of Hastinapur! You all are bounded to this great kingdom! Remember that! Especially you, Pitamah! You remember?", Bheeshm just closed his eyes with tears streaming down his face.
Duryodhan smirked and ordered his younger one, "Go ahead, Dushasan! Go and undress this, Dasi Draupadi! Haha! And prove to everyone that she is not an ideal woman, afterall! Hahaha!". As Dushasan proceeded to walk forward, All Pandavas started to warn and threaten them, with the elders of the kuru dynasty trying to stop them. Vaishnavi closed her eyes and took a breath deeply, and screamed, "Silence!", and looked at everyone. With an emotionless face, she said, "Nobody has to help us, elders! And none of you have to get overwhelmed and give threats to them, Sons of Pandu! I know how to safeguard my sister's chastity! Duryodhan! You are angry that you fell down the water that day, which was purely your mistake! And I was the one who made her laugh! I'm at mistake here! And you are angry because you think you could not marry me because of her! Which was because of me again! And you are rubbing your frustration on her?".
Duryodhan scowled and looked away, as she continued, "If that's the case, You should not punish her! Punish me, Duryodhan! If you think disrobing is the only punishment, then-", she gulped her saliva and closed her eyes. Gaining courage, she looked up, "Then disrobe me!". Arjun looked at her horrified, "Ishwari!". Draupadi came towards her and pleaded her, "Ishwari! Don't please! For me- you-", but she held her shoulders and nodded her head smilingly. Duryodhan's eyes glittered at her proposal but Karn asked scoffing, "Disrobe you? If we can't touch you, how can we disrobe You?". She looked at Karn and smirked bitterly, "Expected, Karn!". She turned towards Dron, who was crying silently, "Guru Dron! You all said that your curse on me works only for one year of my choice! Am I right?". Dron looked up at her confused and nodded his head. She continued, "Then, can I choose them based on individual days?". Dron's eyes widened, but he managed to say, "Yes putri! It's totally your wish which one year you like to be with your curse! Only that 365 days should be completed!".
She then turned towards Duryodhan and said, "Then I announce, today, only for one day, I accept that curse upon me! I'm powerless now! I'm nothing but a damsel! A damsel who has no interest in materials things now! No interest in humanity! No interest in herself! I don't have any attachments to this body anymore! Do whatever you want!", she went towards the center of the hall and stood there emotionless, "Dushasan! Go ahead!", she joined her hands and started to pray for her Lord, Mahadev. Vikarn tried to stop whatever was happening along with the elders, but alas, it was already late.
Arjun's heart was breaking at the sight of his wife being detached from all attachments, and he wanted to go and stop all this, but he couldn't as he was stopped by everything surrounding him. Draupadi went towards her husbands and cried, "Aaryaputr! Aaryaputr! Do something! Please help! Please help her!", she started crying. She then went towards Arjun and fell on his feet, "Aarya! Please- Please save your wife!", but he just looked down and started crying hysterically, as he wasn't able to see what was happening. In a fot of rage, he threw a plate around the hall, diminishing all the lightened lamps, so that no one would be able to see properly what was happening there.
Draupadi looked at her helpless husbands unbelievably. She pushed them all and screamed, "You all are of no use! 5 husbands! I have five husbands! But- but at what cost!", and she spitted on the floor looking at them. She looked at Arjun and said, "Maybe I made a mistake entrusting my sister with you!", making him look up at her with a heartbroken face, not denying what she told. He was as useless as anything in this world, as he was unable to do anything to save his own wife. She then scowled and said, "I don't have any expectations from you anymore! I will ask who I need to ask?". Draupadi then went towards the center, beside Vaishnavi, and prayed for her.
"Govinda!"
Krishna, who was looking at all of these with a tear stricken face, jolted as soon as he got summoned there. With an extremely heartwrenching expression, he looked at the cloth tied on his finger, by Draupadi. Meanwhile, Dushasan took hold of her saree, and started to pull it, with all the Kaurava brothers laughing at her. Draupadi tried to cover her with her bare hands and was trying to cover her with her own saree, but all her efforts were in vain, making Draupadi look really vulnerable. No one, absolutely no one in that hall spoke against this, and were crying silently looking at the Adharm happening in front of their eyes. Draupadi looked up and again screamed, "Govind!". All of a sudden, a series of clothes appeared, covering the both of them from the sky, as if lending them saree.
Krishna slowly started removing the cloth on his finger, simultaneously lending saree for his sister, who was getting disrobed. Everyone in the sabha were looking at the uncommon but godly phenomenon and started to pray for the one lady who was appearing no less than Mata Kali herself. Dushasan started to pant, as he had pulled a whole lot of unlimited saree already, proceeded to pull even when he was tired. Soon after, every other male's clothes had been snatched by an unknown power and were exhibited near the two godly women's feet. Draupadi chanting 'Govinda', and Vaishnavi chanting 'Namah shivaya'. Duryodhan, as soon as he saw that all their clothes were getting snatched, he started shouting, "Pull more, Dushasan!". But then, a loud thunder was heard, and in the middle of the hall, there was a huge black cloud with lightening.
The black cloud soon formed into the shape of Lord Shiva in an angry avatar with his trishool, and the cloud went towards Dushasan, making him fall down catching hardly for his breath. Soon, the saree from the sky stopped, making both the ladies appear in front of everyone, looking like untouchable forces. Hearing the commotion, Kunti and Gandhari entered the hall, and were shocked to the core. Kunti came forward, "Putri!", but Vaishnavi stopped her by extending her hand. "I'm no one's putri! No one's wife! I belong to no one now! Except for my Mahadev!", she growled and snatched the purple chain out of her neck easily, which was never coming out of her neck, and threw it aside, making it fall near Arjun's feet. He closed his eyes in agony, as the chain indicated that her trust on him is gone now. Gandhari came forward, "Putri!", but she stopped her again and said slowly, "No! Rajmata Gandhari! Rajmata Kunti! Don't! I have nobody in this world! Absolutely nobody!", and left the hall, the palace, and eventually, Hastinapur. Draupadi looked at her useless husbands and threw the hairpiece towards them. "I curse this place today, which saw my sister's insult, to be burne-", but was cut off by Gandhari, "Putri no!".
Meanwhile, vaishnavi reached Indraprasth and immediately went towards the kitchen. She pushed everyone who came on her way aside, and took a huge platter and filled it with food. She sat down and started stuffing the food without thinking anything. Subhadra and the other women folk heard that she was there and came to check upon her, and were perplexed to see her in this state. They were constantly shaking her, trying to get a word out of her mouth. But, she was unhazed and she was lost looking at nothing, while stuffing the food. "Ishwari!", Everyone heard Draupadi screaming, and were even more shocked at her disheveled state. Draupadi ran towards her and hugged her tightly, while she still didn't come out of the trance and kept on eating.
"Sons of Pandu has arrived!", a soldier announced, making her break the trance for the first time. She stood up and screamed loudly, "Noooo!!!! Don't let them come on here! Noooo! Arrgghhhh!", she couldn't tolerate the sight of them and ran inside her chamber, locking it, while everyone followed her. She then looked at herself in the mirror, her body, which was exposed to everyone today, and broke the mirror crying. She ran around the room, taming all the lamps around, as she didn't want to see the tainted body of hers. She felt like shit after what all happened, the body which was supposed to be exposed only to her husband, everyone saw it. "Aaaaaaaa", she loudly started crying, making the womenfolk get very much anxiety stricken, as they didn't understand what was happening, while Draupadi was explaining to them, who were treating her wounds. Vaishnavi fell on the floor and Started to think about her whole life. About how her father was not with her, her mother's death, her brother's death because of her, and him sacrificing his life for her. She soon found it unable to breath and hit her chest to get some breath, and her head was spinning. It was like she got stuck in a full packed elevator, and the door is never going to open. Her old trauma started to come back to her. She closed her eyes, and to calm her mind, she started chanting his name, which gave her a sense of comfort and a tad bit of relief to her mind out of her traumas.
"Kanha!"

Guyssss 😭😭😭 the crazy amount of emotions had to go through when I was writing this is... Innumerable. I hate how women are always the ones who get stuck in the egos of men! And whoever says that Draupadi was the reason for the war, i hope they get their pants disrobed as well.
