"I curse you to be an eunuch for life!!!", Urvashi cursed him, much to his shock. He felt like the ground he was standing on was being dragged from under him. He immediately got on his knees and joined his hands, pleading, "Mata! Please don't do this to me! You- You can't force me into doing what I don't like! I see you as my mother! Tell me, how can a mother curse her child? Please!". Urvashi's expression softened, but soon, her anger took over her mind and she started to say something, but suddenly, a booming voice could be heard, "Urvashi!".

Vaishnavi, who was looking angry as ever, entered the room at a fast pace, summoning a Trident in her hand. "HOW DARE YOU CURSE MY HUSBAND?", her voice was so loud and powerful, it emitted energy that pushed Urvashi away and she fell down. Urvashi felt goosebumps all over her body as she saw the anger of the wife of the man she desired, and that desire is now getting replaced with extreme fear. Vaishnavi pointed her trident at her and was about to attack, but Urvashi immediately joined her hands, "Mata! Mata please! Please forgive me!". Vaishnavi took her trident away and vanished it, much to Urvashi's relief for a moment.

Vaishnavi started shouting, "What did you call me? Mata? Then what is my husband to you? Father? Cha! Shame on you!", making Urvashi drop her head down. Vaishnavi got enraged at Urvashi's silence, "Hey, You Apsara! You came from my Brother's, MY BROTHER'S THIGH! remember that! You have to be at least remorseful of what you have done! And all I see is... Fear? Really? Fear? Just like how you cursed my husband, I'm cursing you too!", Making Urvashi gasp. Arjun rushed towards her and held her hand, "Ishwari! Please let it g-", but she held his cheeks, "How can I, Aarya? I can't! And I will never give up on you!". Arjun's heart was dancing at her words but the situation was not right for him to think about that.

Urvashi immediately joined her hands, "Mata, please, forg-", but Vaishnavi cut her off by saying, "You cursed my husband because he rejected your beauty, right? Then listen, I curse you, to become ugl-", Indra entered the scene by joining his hands, "Ishwari, wait! Please don't do this! Please!". "Lord Indra! Don't stop me! She cursed my husband! Let her endure agony!", Vaishnavi said in a louder voice. Arjun said, "Ishwari! Please don't do this! You are not the type to curse! Remember, Guru Dron gave you a similar curse you were about to give to Mata Urvashi! But you not cursing... You will be different from others! You should! Please, listen to me, Love!".

Her expression softens as Arjun speaks with her, and her trident vanished, and in no time, she was back to her normal Avatar. She looked at Indra and said, "Search! Search for a solution! And you, Urvashi; you too!". Urvashi joined her hands and said, "I'm sorry, Mata! It was my mistake! He rejected me, and i gave into my anger that was also fueling my desires! I cannot take back my curse, but, i can reduce it, for one year! And that one year will be beneficial, him being eunuch!". Indra nodded and said, "Yeah! He- He can use it during Agyathavas! Mata!".

Vaishnavi nodded seriously, looking down, while Arjun was looking determined, as he got a solution for Agyatvas. Chitrasen entered the area and got to know about the whole incident. He was initially angry at Urvashi, but he promised his friend a boon, "Arjun! I am giving you a boon, of being very well versed in all art forms, which will be beneficial in the Agyatvas!". Urvashi looked at Vaishnavi and held her shoulder, "Mata! As a repentance, I wish to give you a boon! I know about the curse Guru Dron had given you, the curse of you losing all your skills and beauty, and being unrecognisable! But, i give you a boon of being as beautiful as always. You might be unrecognisable to others, but your beauty will never fade! And your own family, whoever you feel really safe with and trust with everything, will be able to recognise you in this one year! And not anyone!".

Vaishnavi smiled and nodded at Urvashi, and immediately turned towards Arjun. Crying, she tightly hugged him, while getting hiccups. "I'm sor- Sorry!". To give the couple privacy, everybody else left the room without a word. He reciprocated the hug with tears in his eyes, "I- I am sorry, Ishwari! I'm at the fault!". She looked up at him, still not breaking the hug, "You are! But, you were helpless as well! Just like me! I couldn't do anything about what happened! What would you do! Huh?".

He wiped her tears away and said, "I promise you, Ishwari! Who ever is the reason for all your sufferings, they all- they all will be eradicated! From the earth!", and hugged her again. They stayed like that for so long, only their breathing could be heard. They soon separated, while ignoring the eye contact awkwardly, as it's been 12 years since they fought. Arjun tried to start a conversation, but she raised her hand, stopping him, "Arjun, I- I need time! To come in terms with...- you know?", she said looking everywhere else except him. He felt a pang of disappointment, but he quickly covered it with a small smile on his face, "As you wish, Love! I won't force you! Take your own time!". She smiled at him without looking at him, and left the place while fidgeting her thumbs, while he looked at her with a longing expression.

It was time for them to leave to earth, and be with their family, as their exile was about to end, and they were supposed to enter Agyatvas as well. Indra blessed them both for their victory and sent them back, while Chitrasen accompanied them for some distance as he wanted to explore the earth a little. As soon as they saw that they entered the forest which belonged to him, they dropped off the vehicle which was sent by Indra and continued to go along with each other. There was a loud silence lingering between them and somehow, it was comfortable, comforting and definitely not awkward. He was still remembering the fact that she fought for him in the Indrasabha, while he couldn't do the same exact thing to her in Dyut sabha.

While he was thinking and being remorseful, he was about to step on a thorn, but she held his little finger, "Arjun! Where is your concentration?". He looked at her and came out of his thoughts, "Uhm! No- Nothing, Love!". She shook her head and dragged him by his little finger, "If you are this concentration less, I don't know how you will rage a war, Mr. Always pessi-", she paused and realised that she became too open to her husband. She slowly left his finger, which made him lightly shiver as he was already missing her touch. She cleared her throat and said, "A-Arjun!". His heart was jumping in joy, but immediately fell down as she was trying to avoid him, still. She realised that he was about to self sabotage again, so she held back his little finger and started going.

'Pfft! Such an emotional blackmailer'

As soon as they reached their place, their hut, they saw that no one, absolutely nobody was there. Tensed, they looked around to see if they're there. But no, the environment, the eerie nature of all the things scattered in the floor, and most importantly, Draupadi not being there, tensed them to the core. They all could have gone somewhere together, but both of them couldn't shake this bad feeling from their minds and hearts.

They both joined their backs and started looking at each direction, while their commander instincts kicking in. They both looked at each other, and nodded in understanding. But, all of a sudden, there was a loud scream of a woman, a very familiar one, hit their ears and they both turn towards the direction. "Ishwari!!!", now, the voice was becoming clearer as they both concentrated. Vaishnavi, in a rage, ran towards the direction with Arjun following her.

They knew that they wouldn't reach the voice by just running, so they ran towards their horse barn, to board their respective horses. But as soon as they entered, Vaishnavi saw a sight, which made her knees weak and she was about to fall down if Arjun hadn't caught her.

Simba was lying on ground, in a pool of blood, his eyes fighting with time to be open.

Vaishnavi immediately ran towards him and held his head, while softly caressing his head with her trembling hands, "S- Simba!", she slowly calls him out to see one last time, One last time if he gives her the nasty attitude self obsessed look he always gives her. But, oh boy was she wrong. Wrong as anything. As soon as she called him with so much love, he looked up at her and his mouth became wide. As if he was smiling intently at her.

That's it. She couldn't even move from the place, as Simba placed his head on her lap. Arjun was looking at the heartbreaking scene, but his legs were trying to run and save his wife first. Vaishnavi, while her voice cracking, "Arjun! Save her! Go!". He nodded at her and immediately ran, with noticeable tears in his eyes, and rage for whomever did that to Simba. Jayadrath, who was holding onto Draupadi's hair, started trembling as soon as he saw Arjun.

Meanwhile, Sobbing, Vaishnavi shook Simba to be with her. "Simba! Simba look at me". Simba still had that smile on his face, and his eyelids never closing, as if he was fighting to keep them open until she arrives, until he sees her. She caressed his head while saying, "If- If you don't survive, I- I will sing, I will start singing, which you hate the most". Simba with so much pain, lifted his leg up and tapped on her throat, and then her head, just like how she does with him. She started crying, "Simba, no, Pleas- Please", she closed her eyes with tears running down her face.

Simba again, while blood was oozing out of all his possible places, took his leg near her face and wiped her tears, making her face a muddy mess, and hit her forehead. She looked down at him and smiled at his antics, and said while kissing his head, "So long, Simba! I love you! Simba!". He neighed for one last time, the loudest of Simba's in his entire life, which felt like his happiest yet saddest one, as he saw his owner one last time, and stopped breathing. There was no movement in his body.

Her smile soon became sorrowful as she kissed his head again, ruffling his hair. "You too left me, after all!". All the Pandavas arrive at the place where they heard his neighing voice and were shocked to see Vaishnavi holding Simba's corpse, and rocking his body, as if making him sleep. Nakul kneeled down to her and said, "Vaishu, he-", but she shushed him and said, "Nakul, I'm making my baby sleep! Don't disturb him! You sleep well Simba!", and continued rocking. Arjun held her immediately and started crying, "Come to reality, Ishwari! Simba is-", she looked at him with an unreadable expression, "Is?". Arjun gulped hard, as it was not going to be easy on her, "He is no more!".

She slapped him hard and shouted, "Shut up! Don't say like that about my Simba! He is... He is my baby! I'm his mother.. I-", she couldn't convince herself anymore and started crying in a very helplessly heartbreaking way, holding onto Arjun. Draupadi immediately kneeled down and hugged her, "Ishwari! S- Simba! He- he tried to save me from Jayadrath! He- He fought him, but, but that bastard- he-", she couldn't complete her sentence. Vaishnavi screamed while holding onto him, "He- My baby! Aaahhh! My my!", and nuzzled into his hair.

She looked up with determination and stood up, "Where is that bastard!". She took a nearby sword and marched outside, but Arjun stopped her, "Ishwari wait! He- he left!". She looked at him unbelievably, "What? How can you let him go?". Arjun shook his head, "He was our sister's husband, Ishwari! We didn't kill him, but we surely gave him a punishment, which is as equal as killing!". She dropped her knife and shook his shoulders, "nothing is as equal as killing, other than killing, Aarya!".

"He killed my son! Our son Arjun! Your son!".

She continued, "I can't leave the murderer of my son that easily, you could do, i don't know!". Arjun felt a sharp pang in her words, but tried to assure her, while others joined the conversation as well, trying to convince her that they will get him, and they left him as they didn't know he did this. She looked at them all in disbelief, "Every time I think something good about you guys, time and time, you have all proved me wrong, terribly! That Asshole kidnapped my sister; YOUR WIFE! and you guys are telling me YOU LEFT HIM?".

Draupadi chimed in calming her down, "I told them as well, Ishwari! To leave him!", making her look at Draupadi. She said with determination, "It's no place for him to die! He should die as a helpless terrible human! His death should be as terrible and as dangerous as anything, that just by hearing it, everyone should feel chills down their spine! That dog will die in the war!". This somewhat calmed her down, while Sahadev started speaking, "Right Vaishnavi! He also has a boon that when he will die, and whoever comes in contact with his head, they will explode into a thousand pieces". Bheem said, "So, we need a proper planning for this, Vaishnavi!".

Arjun came forward and said, "I promise you, ishwari! I will kill that bastard who killed your son! Our son!", and put his hand on her. Vaishnavi smiled a little, but his words were stirring something inside her. Something very bad, as if what he said was literally going to happen.

Soon, their conversation gets interrupted by a group of soldiers falling on Yudisthir's feet. They were all shocked to see what was happening and asked, "Who are you guys?". The soldiers lifted their heads up and one of them spoke "Samrat Yudisthir! Save- Save us! Save Prince Duryodhan! The- The Gandharvas-". Arjun and Vaishnavi looked at each other, immediately understanding what could have happened. "Chitrasen!", they both say at the same time. She smirked and said, "Let him die then! And started going towards the horse den, starting to dig a grave for her friend, her son, Simba.

The soldiers were in grief fear as she dismissed them, and turned their attention towards Yudisthir, "Samrat we beg you!". While the other Pandavas were not okay with it, Yudisthir nodded and said, "Yeah! We will save him! Don't worry! As my wife said", he looks at Draupadi and continued, "This isn't that bastard's place to die", and sent Arjun and Bheem with them, while Arjun left half heartedly, looking at his beloved burying her friend, her bestie, her son.

As soon as they returned back, with Arjun totally thrashing Chitrasen in a battle and saving Kauravas asses after Karn ran away in fear, they started their planning for their Agyatvas. They didn't know where to go, and how to start. While all those discussions were going on, Ishwari held onto the bell in her hands, which belonged to Simba's collar. Arjun squeezed her shoulders tightly and nodded, and she smiled a little at him, while he wiped her tears which were flowing unknown to her.

She wiped her tears by herself, lightly pushing his hand away, much to his dismay. He then controlled himself from showing it out in his face and concentrated back on the conversation. Vaishnavi came back to senses and heard the conversation, about where to go to Agyatvas, and started smiling. Bheem noticed her and asked, "What are you smiling at?". She just shook her head and said, "Oh! It happens that I know what roles to give you all! And I know just where to go! I know..".

She took them all to a place, which she claimed to know all her life. As soon as she entered the place, a sense of familiarity hit her, nostalgia feelings kicked in. After all, it was the place which brought her to this era. The Gandiveshwar Sthan. She showed them a tree to hide their weapons and retrieve them back in time, in future. All of a sudden, a loud thunder could be heard, startling all of them. Soon, a mud Tornado surrounded Vaishnavi pushing everyone aside with an unknown huge power.

Arjun tried to hold onto her, but was unable to because of the immense power it was holding. Soon, the tornado stops, making them all sigh in relief as it is over. But, they panicked while noticing that Vaishnavi wasn't there. They searched all over the place for her, with Arjun's heart in his hands, ready at any time to break. His wife went missing. Nakul shouted on the top of his lungs, as he saw her lying unconscious on the floor. Arjun ran with his life in his legs and held her tightly, and dropped a few tears.

She stirred at the force of his hug and woke up from her unconscious state. Arjun held her cheek and said, "I thought I lost you! I'm glad! I'm glad-", he hugged her back, while others sighed in relief. She looked at him weirdly and pushed him with super force, which to him felt really powerless, which was REALLY unlike her. Confused, he reached out his hand towards her and called her out, "Ishwari!". She cringed at that and said something, which no one, literally no one there expected to come out of her mouth.

"Bro! Who the fuck are you?"

After llllooonnnngggg time, how was the chapter guys? This was the first ever chapter in my entire lifez that made me cry while writing it.
