14 - Talk to the hand
"If the tide takes California I'm so glad I got to hold ya
And if the sky falls from heaven above
Oh, I know I had the best time falling into love We've been living on a fault line
And for a while, you were all mine
I've spent a lifetime giving you my heart I swear that I'll be yours forever
'Til forever falls apart."

OLIVIA WOODS
It was not bad. My mind was still coming to terms with what the Creeds had told me. But the party wasn't bad. Maybe because I was a little drunk. Or maybe because the Creeds looked so freaking hot in their tuxedos.
I was sitting at a table with them and the nice Valentinos - Dante and Giovanni. They were talking about something while I texted my George Washington.
GEORGIIIIIEEEEE
Yes? GEORGIIIIIEEEEEE
Where are you? GEORGIIIIIEEEEEE
Olivia, are you drunk? GEORGIIIIIIEEEEEE
"Who are you texting?" Ashton, who was on my left, asked me as he took a sip of his drink. I eyed his adam's apple as it bobbled up and down and then his pink lips which were a little wet because of the drink.
"George," I answered him. "He's old." He frowned. "George?"
"George?" Zavier, who was sitting on my right, asked. "Who is George?"
"She's texting him," Ashton muttered, eyeing the phone. I hid it from him, narrowing my eyes.
"No peeking!"
"Who is George, Olivia?" Xerxes who was sitting across me, between Giovanni and Dante, asked.
I stuck my tongue out. "I'm not telling you." I looked down at my phone.
Olivia are you okay?
I'm killing you the next time I see you. Olivia for fuck's sake answer me.
Pick up the fucking phone. OLIVIA.
I giggled. "Oops."
"She's drunk," Giovanni muttered.
"Yeah, no shit," Ashton grumbled, eyeing my phone again. I narrowed my eyes and slapped his arm.
"No peeking!"
Ashton slowly looked down at his arm and then back at me, disbelief clear in his eyes. "How much did you drink?"
I showed him my hand. "Talk to the hand."
He eyed the hand while the others laughed. I felt eyes on us. I looked around. People were looking at us in disbelief now. I stuck my tongue out to a random man. He looked like he didn't know what to do with himself. He walked away. I giggled.
"We have to take her home," Xerxes said, standing up and taking my hand in his, pulling me out of my chair. I collapsed against him and closed my eyes, wrapping my arms around him. "You are really hot," I whispered to him.
He momentarily froze. "You are drunk as fuck." "No, I am Olivia as fuck."
He grumbled something under his breath and picked me up bridal style. I snuggled into him, swinging my legs back and forth as he carried me out of the giant mansion. I waved at Giovanni and Dante. Giovanni waved back, smirking. Dante blew me a kiss. I caught it with a grin.
Xerxes set me in a limousine and sat down beside me. Ashton and Zavier sat down across us. The door closed and the limousine started.
I eyed the minifridge. "Can I-"
"No," Ashton said sternly. "You can have water. Nothing else."
I stuck my tongue out at him. His eyes narrowed."I would have turned that ass read if you weren't drunk," He muttered, jaw clenching.
I frowned. "What?" He shook his head.
Xerxes opened the minifridge and took a bottle out. He unscrewed it and handed it to me. "It's liquor."
I took in a huge gulp and then glared at him. "It's water!"
He smiled. "I know. Drink more, I don't want you to pass out." I huffed. "No."
Zavier grabbed my jaw. My eyes widened as he bought his face closer to mine. "Drink more, kitten," He said sternly. "Yes?"
I nodded, biting my lip. "Words, Kitten."
"Yes, Zavier," I whispered.
Lust flickered in his eyes. "Good girl."
Desire swirled in my stomach, I licked my lips. He looked down at them. "Fucking hell." He let go of me and glared out of the window.
I blinked several times to get the lust out of my head and drank water.
After drinking, I gave the bottle back to Xerxes and curled into a ball on the seat, closing my eyes.
"Don't sleep, Little one." So, I fell asleep.
. . .
I felt someone lowering me on the bed. "Little one."
"I'm up," I mumbled, snuggling into my blanket. "Now I'm asleep." "You don't want to change, Kitten?"
"Change me."
"We can't do that, little love."
"Then let me sleep." I wormed under my blankets. I felt someone taking my heels off and then the blankets were correctly arranged around me. I heard them switch the heater on and then the lights dim.
"You have to lock the door."
"No," I whined, pouting at them without opening my eyes. "I'm sleepy." Ashton chuckled. "Alright."
I heard the door open.
"You're leaving?" I opened my eyes and looked at them. They turned around. Ashton raised his eyebrows at me.
"You don't want us to leave?" Zavier asked. "What if a burglar comes in?"
"Burglars probably live in this awful building," Xerxes muttered. I rolled my eyes, sitting up. The strap of my dress had slid down my shoulder, showing my bra-covered breasts. Their eyes fell on my black bra. I knew it did not leave much for the imagination. In the glow of the lamp which was switched on at the nightstand, I knew they could see everything. I bit my lip.
"Yeah, we are going." Ashton nodded to himself and walked out.
I pouted. Xerxes and Zavier followed Ashton out and the door closed. I huffed and laid back down on the bed. Meanies.
. . .
I woke up with someone screwing nails into my head.
And the flashbacks from the night before hitting me. I had drunk too much. It was not my fault, the waiters and waitresses kept coming with champagne. How could I say no?!
And Georgia was sitting at a stool in the kitchen.
I sat up. "George," I cried out, falling back on the bad as my head started swaying.
"You scared me yesterday," Georgia said, walking towards me with a tray in her hand. Her blond hair was up in a messy bun and her glasses were on her nose. She was wearing skinny jeans and a maroon top. She set the tray down on the bed. There was too much breakfast on the tray.
"Guess who sent this?" Georgia asked, giving me a piece of paper.
I sat up and read it, squinting my eyes. I was still wearing the contacts I had worn yesterday. Sleeping with contacts on. I was an idiot.
Hope this helps.
Z.C.
P.s. - we are having lunch together.
"You have gotten closer to them," Georgia said. "There is a huge ass man standing guard outside."
I gasped. "What?"
"He said he's here because the Creeds ordered him to keep you safe." I frowned.
"Maybe because your door wasn't locked when I came in," Georgia said as I picked a chocolate muffin up.
I nodded, biting into the chocolate goodness. "Yeah, I couldn't yesterday because I was drunk as heck. They could have taken a key and locked it."
"Maybe they didn't want to take it without your permission," She said as I handed her one cupcake. No way in heck would I be able to eat all of this on my own. She smiled at me in thanks.
I nodded. "Probably. I should thank Zavier." I searched for my phone on the bed. "Olivia," Georgia asked casually.
I hummed in return, finding my phone on the nightstand. "Be careful," She muttered. "Okay?"
I frowned, looking up at her. "What's wrong Georgie?"
She sat down beside me, biting her lower lip. "I was worried about you," She admitted. "And the Creeds don't have the best reputation."
"They are nice to me," I muttered, frowning. "There's more than you aren't telling me."
Something flashed in her eyes and she smiled at me, one of her 'I'm sorry I can't tell you' smiles. "I'll see you later. That's your gift." She nodded towards the big red package on the counter. "Merry Christmas."
She stood up and grabbed her coat from the coat hanger.
"Georgi, wait." I got out of the bed and walked inside my small closet. I picked the box up.
I walked out.
She frowned, eyeing the box. "You got me a gift?"
I nodded. "You will like it." I gave it to her. "Merry Christmas! "
She smiled and ripped it open. Inside was a leather jacket I had painted a few days back. Daisies were made on the back, her favorite flowers, and her favorite quote was written in cursive.
"It isn't what we say or think that defines us, but what we do."
― Jane Austen.
"Olivia..." She shook her head, blinking rapidly. "Fuck. Come here." She hugged me. I chuckled, hugging her back.
"You are going to make me lose my bad girl edge." She chuckled, letting go of me after a minute.
"Let's go eat more." She nodded. "Yep."
