30 - Forgive me?

"We ran as if to meet the moon."

. . .

I was bored.

I was in a class. I loved art history but the teacher had a monotonous voice. Some people had their cameras on and some had them off. I had mine off. No need to show my face willingly.

I was in Xerxes' office. He had left after giving me the laptop when I refused to talk to him. Maybe I was doing too much.

I was making notes with a new pen, on a new notebook. Everything I was wearing, an awesome t-shirt and denim shorts, was new too. It felt weird to not feel the weight of the rings on my fingers. I had not agreed to buy any jewelry. All of my rings were at my burnt apartment. I didn't have any jewelry.

I felt naked without it.

The door opened and Xerxes entered the room. I was sitting on Xerxes' large chair with the laptop on his desk. His office was similar to the one he had at the headquarters, the window here displayed the front yard of the mansion.

He walked closer.

Xerxes stood on my right, looking down at my laptop. "Little love," Xerxes murmured. "Are you still mad at me?"

I stayed quiet, keeping my focus on the screen even though I was no longer listening to the professor.

I felt hands on my shoulders. I bit my lip, not reacting. I felt myself being picked up. Xerxes sat on the chair and pulled me on his lap. I didn't look at him, feeling my body heating up at the feeling of his hard body against me.

"I'm sorry," he said. "I...didn't know you'd be mad at me for this."

"Y-You thought I wouldn't be mad if you treated me like a...pet in front of others?" I looked at him, hating the tears which were coming into my eyes. "I hated it...if this is what you what from me then I...I don't want you."

Hurt flashed in his eyes. "We do not want anything from you which you are not willing to give, Olivia. I am truly sorry about last night. We get protective and those men are not good."

"T-Then why did you even bring me to the dinner?"

"Because they needed to see who they have to protect." He tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear. "You are the priority right now, Olivia. You are the safest person in America right now." He tucked me closer to his chest, the professor's voice was nothing but bad background sound right now. "The Russians are coming closer."

I was scared. "I don't get it..." I looked down at his hand on my lap. I put my hand in his and he instantly intertwined our fingers. "What will they do if they get me?" I asked, not looking at him.

"They won't." He tipped my chin up. "They won't. All you have to do is stay with us."

"How long?" I asked. "You said one month. You think the danger will pass in one month?"

He nodded. "We will make it pass in one month." He kissed the back of my hand. "Don't worry."

He put my hand down and his eyes fell on my lips. His eyes flickered between my lips and my eyes. I bit my bottom lip. That was the only sign he needed.

He grabbed the back of my neck and mashed his like with mine, kissing me softly but deeply. After a few moments, he tilted my head in the way he wanted and then he kissed me nastily.

When he pulled back I was panting for breath. He kissed me through the class, barely letting me breathe.

He was going to make me fail.

. . .

Zavier picked me up and sat me down on his lap. They were not letting me do the classes alone. I was in my room right now with my Economics class going on and Professor Duncan was talking about what different flowers meant. He strayed from the topic too many times. And that was what made his class interesting.

Zavier moved me a little so that now I was sitting between his legs, he wrapped his arms around my waist and set his chin on my head. "How can I make it up to you?"

"Say sorry," I muttered.

"I'm sorry, Kitten," he said. "Forgive me?"

I nodded. "D-Don't do that again it makes me feel bad."

I felt his nod, his chin gently digging into my head. "Okay, I promise."

He played with my hair for the rest of the class, asking me random questions like what my favorite color was - which was grey, and my favorite dish, and so on.

Finally, when the class ended. He threw the laptop away and turned me around so that I was straddling him.

He smiled at me. "Hey, baby." He grabbed my neck and kissed me. "So fucking addicting." He kissed me again. What do you want to eat for dinner? I was thinking something Fren-"

"I-I'm going to meet Georgia," I said, my heart beating furiously because of his kisses. He frowned deeply. "I'll have dinner with her."

"You said you'd stay with us for a month," he grumbled, wrapping his arms tightly, crushing me against his chest. "Cancel."

I frowned. "I want to meet her. I'm just visiting." "It's dangerous."

"You can't keep me locked up here I'll lose my mind!" I exclaimed, struggling to get out of his arms. He let go of me, looking annoyed.

"Dangerous people are after you, little girl," he spat, getting off the bed. He looked angry. I took a step back. He didn't notice my reaction to his anger. "You are going to stay here and that's fucking it."

"O-Okay," I whispered, wrapping my arms around myself, tearing up a little. "I won't go."

He looked at my tear-filled eyes, cursed under his breath, and walked out of the door, slamming the door shut which made me jump.

I did not know what to do.
