44 - "I'm yours as much as you are mine."

"Lovin' you's the antidote"

. . .

I woke up on Zavier's chest.

I looked up at him. He was already looking down at me.

"Hey, baby," he whispered, kissing me.

I sat up. I was in the hospital room. On the bed, on Zavier's lap.

"Are you okay?" I asked him, cupping his face in my hands. He nudged my nose with his.

"Yes." He kissed me again. "I just needed my baby's kiss." He kissed me.

"I-I didn't do it," I told him in a whisper. "You know that, right? I would never hurt you like this."

He frowned. "You think I think your poisoned me?" "I-yes."

"What?" He chuckled, wrapping his arms tightly around me. "Why would I think that? If I did I wouldn't be kissing you, would I?" He kissed me again. "Fucking addicting."

"Okay," I whispered, looking down at my hands. "Did accuse you of this?"

"No!"

"Kitten," he warned. "Who said it?" I bit my lip. "No one!"

"Kitten." He grabbed my neck, making me look at him. "Tell me." "Ashton," I whispered. He froze. "I'm sure he was just c-confused and-"

The door opened. Ashton entered. Zavier stood up, taking the heart monitor thingy off his finger along with the other things attached to him.

"What the fuck?" Zavier asked him.

Ashton pressed his lips in a thin line. "Za-" Zavier punched him, right on the cheekbone.

My eyes widened as I gasped. Ashton didn't even flinch. He hadn't tried to block, either. He nodded. "I deserved that. I'm sorry." He looked at me. "I'm sorry, little one."

"Have you completely lost it?" Zavier hissed.

"Zavier," I whispered, getting off the bed. I put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't please." I didn't like violence. I've had enough of it in my life.

Zavier nodded. "Sorry, kitten."

. . .

"Ouch!"

"Sorry," Ashton said, now softly massaging my back. "Good?"

I nodded. We were back at the mansion and Zavier was in his room. He did not want to stay there anymore but it was clear that he was still not feeling well and actually really needed to be at the hospital. He was sleeping, I had made sure he slept.

The door opened and Xerxes entered.

"Hey, baby," he said to me sitting down beside me and picking me up. "How are you?"

"I'm okay," I whispered. He didn't smell of that perfume anymore. "C-Can I talk to you?"

He hummed.

"I'll give you some space." Ashton kissed my cheek and walked out of the room, softly closing the door.

"I..." I got off his lap, folding my legs under me. He watched me. "Yes?"

Speak, Olivia. "I-I think I should know if you...have someone else. I mean... I deserve to know, don't I?" I looked away from him, hating how small my voice sounded.

"What..what are you talking about?" He cupped my face with one hand. "Look at me, Olivia."

I looked at him. I hated that my eyes were filled with tears. "You can tell me," I whispered.

"Baby." He tried to pick me up. I shook my head. He sighed. "I'm not with anyone. I don't want to be with anyone. What makes you think that?"

"T-The perfume yesterday."

He tilted his head. "You smelled perfume on me?" "It was a woman's perfume."

He sighed. "Someone sat beside me, little love. That's all. I didn't touch anyone. Okay?" He asked softly. "I promise."

I sniffled. "Okay..." I believed him.

"It was a woman I used to be with," he said. "I don't want to hide it from you, Little love. I was with her till we became friends. I ended things with her that day." He picked me up, this time I didn't protest. He sat me on his lap. "I told her that I have you. You are the only woman I want, Olivia." He kissed me gently. "Never doubt that, yes?" He asked against my lips.

I nodded. "Yes."

"I'm yours as much as you are mine."

I smiled at that because I knew that I was his, that I was theirs, completely.

. . .

I was laying next to Zavier. "Do you need anything?" I asked, running my hand through his hair. "Something to eat?"

"Well..." He sneaked his hand between my thighs. "Yes."

"I'm on my period, remember?" I muttered, blushing furiously. "I can make you cum with my fingers."

"N-No!"

He chuckled. "Alright. The second your period is done I'm going to make you cum on my tongue." He tucked me against his body tightly. "You'll like that won't you, my little slut?"

"I-I..."

The door opened and Ashton and Xerxes entered.

"We need to talk, all of us," Ashton said. Zavier and I sat up. Zavier pulled me between his legs as Xerxes and Ashton sat on two grey chairs near the bed. Zavier's room was plain with nothing personal. It was a collection of hard edges, black, and shades of grey.

"We've been thinking about something, Olivia," Ashton said to me. I have a feeling I was not going to like where this conversation was going. After growing up in a half toxic family you know when things are about to get ugly. "And we think you should be away from New York for a while."

"What?"

Zavier spoke. "It would be safe for you. We can make it seem like that you are still here and now that the cafe is shut down, no one would be able to tell if you are here or not. And even if they do, they won't know where you are."

"You would stay with the Valentinos in their safe house in California, one of them will always be with you there. We can't send you to Italy as it'll be too predictable but we don't trust anyone but them to keep you safe," Xerxes said and I froze. "They will never, under no circumstance, hurt you. They are our good friends and have given their word that they'll take care of us if you decide to say yes."

I thought about it.

If I stayed and one of them good hurt again... What if one of them died?

The fire had been because of me and the poisoning, too. So many people had died. I had seen the news on the phone when I had tried to call Georgia who did not pick up.

I didn't want to see them hurt anymore because of me.
