A/n: This takes place in an alt universe where the whole 'you lost your memories now get them back lol' didn't happen. Think of it as 'what if Casualties was a regular slice of life romance?'

Utari Kashi

Loves giving you random kisses, but gets very flustered if you initiate it first. His favourite pastime is writing songs dedicated to you. Let him sing you a song, he'll have the biggest smile on his face. Compliment the song? Get tackled with hugs and kisses. Compliment him? Mans gets flustered and malfunctions.A ball of energy eager to always go on dates with you. Just smile and his heart explodes at how cute you are. Tried kabedoning you once. He ended up being too flustered and you two awkwardly stood there with Kashi pinning you against the wall and his head down, unable to face you. You tried doing it to him and he fell and almost fainted. You had to help him stand up.The type to freak out over a papercut on you.During school he'd easily spot you in the crowd. Once he does, he'd rush up to you with the brightest smile ever asking how class was. Think of him as a puppy.

A cat cafe. Currently, you were waiting outside the building's entrance pretending to look occupied on your phone as you waited for your boyfriend to show up. You honestly should've seen this date coming from a mile away considering how he absolutely loved cats. It was a little funny since he resembled an excited puppy 90% of the time, but who were you to deny him when he was so eager for another excuse to go on a date with you?

"(Y/n)!"

As soon as you heard that familiar bubbly and exuberant voice, you braced yourself as Kashi tackled you into a hug from behind. He turned you around and kissed you on the forehead, giggling at your expression. You felt like you were just attacked by a ball of sunshine.

"You're always the one waiting for me on our dates! I even came early." He pouted. "Are you doing this on purpose?"

You smiled. "Course not."

"You're lying."

"And yet you still love me. So, this is the place you wanted to go?"

"Yup! I've been meaning to come here ever since I heard about it."

"Why didn't you go sooner?"

"Because I wanted to be with you, of course!" he beamed brightly. You should've brought a pair of sunglasses today.

The two of you entered the cafe, got comfortable, and ordered your drinks. The cafe was minimalistic and cozy; the perfect place to take it easy and relax. Kashi's overly excited energy definitely stood out in such a place.

"(Y/n), look! One is coming to us––no, it's going over to you."

A cat walked up to you and purred against your arm. "That's the third time."

Kashi huffed. "One will take a liking to me!"

Spoilers, one never came to him. In fact, you swear the cats purposefully avoided him. The two of you switched seats several times, you had him sit near the edge while you stuck yourself to the wall, you led one of the cats to him and it walked away immediately, you even witnessed a pretty amazing sight of a cat avoiding every single one of Kashi's advances in the most elegant way possible. The idol was left utterly defeated.

"I'm so jealous," he said, bitterly sipping his drink as he watched a cat nuzzle it's face against your hand.

"Cats really don't like you, huh?"

He rested his cheek against his palm. "I wasn't talking about the cat this time."

You paused and gave him an odd look. "You're saying that you want to nuzzle your face against my hand? Interesting."

"If you put it that way it sounds weird!"

"Oh, I'm not judging. A smack to the face will do the trick. It's basically the same." You grinned. "Wanna do it now?"

He gasped. "(Y/n)!"

The cat beside you meowed quietly before falling asleep next to you. Kashi's face lightened up and he covered his lips with his hand, holding back the urge to gush at the adorable sight of you and the cat.

"You're so cute."

"I'm just sitting down?"

He giggled happily. "I know."

You had an idea. You whispered for Kashi to sit next to you. The idol did his best to contain his enthusiasm as he eagerly did as you said.

"It's so cute," he whispered

It was 0.2 seconds after he sat down when the cat immediately woke up. It looked at you and meowed, looked at Kashi and paused before leaving the table.

"..."

"..."

You were honestly impressed at how unattracted cats were to Kashi.

When it was time to leave, Kashi insisted that he would pay. You pretended to argue a bit before letting him win. Little did he know that you were going to slip money in his pocket later when he wasn't looking. While you waited for Kashi to pay, you took a look at the merch. There was a pair of cat ears. Curious, you tried them on and looked at yourself in the mirror. Nice.

"Okay, I'm done––"

He looked at you and you looked at him.

Kashi stared at you, cheeks growing warm before he bashfully averted his eyes away before turning around entirely and almost fainting against a wall.

He whispered, "Can I take a photo?"

"No."

"Aw... "

You groaned. "Fine. But you're putting them on as well."

A wide smile graced his lips. "We'll take a selfie, then!"

With a cheerful hum, Kashi wrapped one hand around your waist and pulled you in closer. He aimed the camera at the two of you. And right before he snapped the photo, you quickly kissed him on the cheek. His expression was priceless; shocked, flustered, baffled––it was a great sight.

"(Y/nnn)," he whined. "You know exactly what you're doing."

You held him by the hand and raised the back of it to your lips. "Whatever could you be talking about?"

Kashi gasped. His heart was seriously in danger. "S-stop."

You laughed and gave him a quick kiss on the back of his hand. "You're not pulling away."

"W-well... I mean..."

The entire time you returned the cat ears, waved goodbye to the staff, and left the cafe; Kashi was dutifully and quietly holding your hand. Too flustered from your previous action to talk. But eventually, his energetic self returned.

"Where do you want to go next, (Y/n)?" he asked, face brightening with eager anticipation.

"Home?"

"What! But this date just started." A frown was on his face. "I want to hang out with you more. Please?"

The temptation to keep teasing him was hard to resist, but you resisted. "I was joking. We can go to the mall and see what's there."

"Okay, sounds like a plan!" He squeezed your hand and looked at you affectionately. "Let's pick out some clothes for you."

"Nah."

He looked like a kicked puppy. "Wh...But––but you're so pretty."

"Flattery will get you nowhere, boy."

"Please?"

"No."

He tugged your sleeve, a puppy-like look in his eyes. Oh no, not this. You wanted to slam your face against a wall.

UGh. He's cUte.

"One outfit."

A cheerful 'hooray!' left him and he pulled you into a hug before quickly kissing you on the cheek. With a warm smile, he sighed dreamily. "I love you, you know that?"

"Because I let you dress me up?"

He pouted. "(Y/n), you know that's not what I meant."

You laughed. "I know, I know. I love you, too."

Kasumi Kai

"Okay, yeah. Your weekend was great and all. But have you seen my girlfriend? It's a problem. She's too perfect and––" Expect the rest of the conversation to just be about you.

Is so proud to be your boyfriend. You can breathe and he'd be like 'look at her go. You wish she was your girlfriend.' Always says how lucky you are to be his girlfriend, but he's always super grateful to have you around.Bullies you into letting him carry your bags at schoolTotally tried to do a pick up line on youLoves to pick you up and carry you in his arms. Oh, you blinked 0.1 second longer than usual? You must be exhausted. My arms are open. Did you accidentally trip? Lemme carry you so you don't fall and get a concussion. Loves hugs. Give him hugs. If you initiate it he'd have the biggest grin ever and won't let you go. The man has muscles, good luck getting out. Will fight anyone who insults you. Will also fight anyone who compliments you because he doesn't want anyone flirting with you cuz you're his what do you mean people are just being nice. During his basketball matches, he'd score a point and immediately look in your direction. If you encourage him, expect him to carry the whole game in your name. Looks for any excuse to make you wear his jacket

Finally, your last class of the day was over. And three seconds had barely passed before Kai appeared outside of your classroom. At this point, you don't even question how he gets here so fast. He gave you an impatient look and you quickly packed your things up before walking out of the classroom.

"You're free after school," he said.

You blinked. "Was that a statement or a question––"

"Obviously, you'll have free time after school." He proudly smiled and placed his hands on his hips. "You're spending time with me, after all! Consider yourself lucky."

Cue Kai dragging you out of school––he also insisted on carrying you so since it'd be 'faster' but you denied as quickly as he suggested it––and you boarding the bus with him. Welp, it wasn't like you had anything to do today so you made no efforts to protest. Since it was a little crowded on the bus, Kai made sure to protect you from bumping into others. He'd glare at anyone who just so happens to briefly bump shoulders with you for 0.2 seconds.

"There are no more handles. Grab onto my arm so you don't fall."

There were two available handles and Kai was holding both of them. You sighed. When you held onto his arm, the dude was sparkling with pure pride. Anyone who glanced his way Kai stared back with a look that was somewhere along the lines of 'hah! Jealous?'

When the bus stopped and you let go of his arm, Kai made no efforts to hide his disappointment. You hopped out of the bus, happy to be out of the cramped space.

"Okay, so what's the plan?" Kai didn't respond. "... You don't have a plan?"

"I do!" He paused before he sheepishly cleared his throat. "Okay, maybe I don't... I kinda just wanted to see you."

Your heart took a critical hit. Okay, that was cute.

"Hey, don't look at me like that! It's because everyone else was busy and you happen to be free!"

You laughed. "Sure~ How about we go for a walk and catch up? We haven't talked in a while because of exams."

"Yeah! I-I mean. If you say so..."

"Aw, did you miss my company because of exams?" you joked.

Kai was speechless.

"Oh my god." You inhaled deeply before exhaling out, "I love this man."

Kai playfully pinched your cheek and bashfully mumbled out, "Don't just say that so casually."

"But your reactions are cute!" You laughed and Kai glared at you. "Okay, okay. I'll stop. Let's go."

You began walking, only to stop and stare at Kai in confusion when he wasn't moving.

"... Hand," he mumbled.

"Hand?"

He huffed. "Are you not going to hold my hand?"

You did not hesitate to lock hands. Kai said something inaudible under his breath and squeezed your hand tighter as you giggled at his behaviour. The two of you talked about school and caught up on each other's lives. Kai told you about his latest swimming competition and basketball match, not failing to boast how he smashed all of them.

"You are the best basketball player I know," you said, following it up with a wink. "And the most attractive one as well."

"W-well, obviously!" His voice cracked saying the first word. "I don't get why you're stating the obvious."

Passing by were a group of girls from another high school. You didn't pay much attention to them, but their attention was most definitely focused on your boyfriend. They whispered to each other, giggling before one of them approached Kai, ignoring your presence.

With an eager smile, she held up the latest sports magazine that Kai was featured in. "Excuse me, you're the model on this cover, right?"

Kai furrowed his eyebrows. "Yeah, and?"

"Oh my god, it is you! I would know that attractive physique anywhere. I'm a huge fan of yours! I have all your latest issues."

Her words made you internally wince. Attractive physique. It was fine to compliment someone's appearance, but the way she phrased it sounded very objectifying. With a smile, you said to the girl, "Would you excuse us? We're busy."

Before she had the chance to say anything, you pulled Kai away and walked past her.

There were two reasons why you did this. One, you were uncomfortable with where the girl was going with her words. And two, you were worried what Kai would say if you hadn't stepped in. Unlike when he was with you, the guy was ruthless around everyone else. One time, a girl tried to smack him because he made a comment about how her perfume's strong scent was making him sick. You had to diffuse the situation. Though, you had to agree with his statement.

Luckily, the girls took the hint. Though frustrated by your intervention, they didn't try to go after you and Kai. You sighed in relief. Crisis averted.

"Were you jealous?" Kai asked.

"Jealous?"

"You pulled me away from that girl." His tone grew more excited. "You were jealous, right?"

Aw man, he looked so happy. You supposed he was right. Thinking about it now, you did grow annoyed seeing the other girls look at Kai with such interest in their eyes.

"Yeah, you got me."

He smiled widely and pulled you in for a quick kiss, catching you off by surprise. With an affectionate ruffle of your hair, he said, "Hah! I knew it. Obviously, I'm all yours. I don't get why you're jealous."

This time, you were the flustered one. Kai grinned at your reaction, saying something along the lines of 'my girlfriend is the cutest'.

For the rest of the walk, Kai was in high spirits.

As you were looking around, you noticed a kid throwing a literal shoe at something. Curious, you paused and took a closer look. A basketball was stuck on top of the hoop against the backboard. The kid looked up at it in frustration, the ball being obviously out of his reach. Ah, so that's the situation.

You approached him and asked, "Need help? My boyfriend can get it for you."

The child's frustration melted at your offer. A relieved look on his face, he said, "Yes please! It's been stuck there for the past ten minutes. I tried throwing my shoe to get it down, but it wouldn't work."

Kai tapped your shoulder. "I'll hoist you up so you can get it."

"But you can just jump and––you just want an excuse to hold me, don't you?"

"...No."

You and the kid looked at him doubtfully. With a sigh, you complied. Kai grinned and effortlessly carried you onto his shoulders. You grabbed the ball and Kai begrudgingly set you down.

"Here you go."

"Thanks!" The kid turned to Kai. "Wait, I know you!"

"Yeah, we met like two minutes ago."

The child shook his head. "No, no! I was at a basketball match to see my brother and saw you there! You were super cool and scored nearly all the points. I went home and began practicing as soon as I could because of you."

Kai subtly raised his eyebrows in surprise. However, a proud and confident smirk was quick to settle on his lips. "Hah! Good luck getting even a quarter way to my skill level."

"I'm practicing everyday!"

Kai motioned for the child to pass the ball before expertly spinning it on the tip of his finger. "Really now? You better not suck, then."

It was no surprise that Kai easily outskilled the child. But despite that, he was providing useful tips, properly guiding him, and correcting his mistakes.

"C'mon, if you shoot like that you're basically asking for the opponent to take the ball from you."

"But you're so tall! This is impossible!"

"If you practice with someone my height, you'll crush all the other kids when you get back."

"Ohh, you're right."

Kai clapped his hands loudly. "Alright! Let's try again. This time try getting the ball off me."

Seeing Kai all excited and energetic puts a smile on your lips. Plus, his laughter was a blessing whether it'll be from pure enthusiasm, from his boasting, or when he was playfully mocking the kid. Man, you really fell hard for him.

"(Y/n), quit staring and join us. C'mon. I'll play defence and you and the kid will try to get past me."

You frowned. "Kai, you're asking for me to get floored."

"I'll go easy on ya."

"That changes nothing."

It really did change nothing. You caught the ball, took one step, nearly screamed when Kai appeared in front of you, and froze.

"Kai, how do I shoot?"

"Throw the ball."

"Okay, but where."

"Not into my hands."

"Uh."

That's how it went for the next few hours. You had to admit, it was pretty fun. At one point, you and the kid did an epic pro gamer move and managed to get past Kai's defence. No, it did not involve you playing dirty and distracting him with a kiss what do you mean. Eventually, the sun began to set and it was time to head home. The kid waved goodbye and parted ways with you and Kai.

You yawned, energy obviously spent from running around, shouting, and laughing for the past few hours. Kai offered to carry you on his back and you accepted.

"You looked happy today," you murmured sleepily, face against Kai's back. How the hell was it so comfortable? "It was nice."

"Dammit, don't say things like that out of nowhere. My heart beats like crazy."

"I mean, it's true. Seeing your smile is like a blessing on earth!" you teased.

Kai huffed. "Let's hang out more––no. We are going to hang out more. Just tell me what you want to do."

You hummed. "Okay, let's have a lazy day tomorrow at your place. Oh wait––you don't really like those, huh?"

"Well, yeah. I prefer being active, but anything is cool if it's with you."

"Hm, then how about this. We go on a date outside, spend all of our energy doing a bunch of stuff, then spend the late afternoon relaxing..."

Kai blinked in confusion when you stopped speaking. However, he quickly realised that you were sleeping after hearing your light breathing. A fond smile on his lips, he whispered, "Sounds like a solid plan."

Shichirou Yusei

"What do you mean I'm being too much?" He says as he presents a gigantic bouquet of roses out of nowhere to you in the middle of lunch.

Usually isn't caught off guard or embarrassed by sudden displays of affection. Heck, he always expects it. And when you don't give it to him, expect him to annoy you until he finally gets his kiss Teases you a lot. He'll consider shutting up if you give him kisses.Loves your attention. Will drop everything if you need something from him. In the middle of an important student council meeting? It can wait. A teacher is currently talking to him? Sorry, you're more important. Someone's dying? But is it you? No? Then what's the issue? Oh, but you're tired? Brb, bringing a whole ass hospital to you. Always teases you if you ever praise or compliment him, but it really does make his day better. Start the morning off with a display of affection from you? The rest of the day he's easily in a good mood. Spoils you with gifts. If you're uncomfortable with that, he'd try to make something for you (usually ends up looking horrible, but it's the thought that counts)Sometimes tries to cater too much to your needs to be the best boyfriend he can be. Please give him constant reminders that he can be himself around you and he's perfect the way he is.

"Yusei."

"Yes, dear?"

"Can we take a break?"

"We had one five minutes ago."

"..."

"..."

"So, is that a no?"

Yusei is a diligent student. Top marks and top of the class. So, you suggested having a study date at his house. After all, working alongside someone productive will lessen your chance of procrastination. Right?

"How about we play a video game?" you suggested. "It'll only be for a bit, don't worry."

Yusei smiled. "Of course, anything for you."

"Okay, I might have preferred it if you scolded me instead."

You got up from the table, plopped yourself on the soft carpet floor, and booted up the game. What kind of game were you planning to play? A horror game. But of course, Yusei doesn't know that. Not yet anyway.

"Come sit with me," you said.

Yusei smiled at your offer and happily did as you said. You shuffled closer to him and he smiled fondly at you before he froze at what was on the TV screen.

He laughed nervously. "I'll go cut up some fruit..."

You grabbed his arm and smiled. "You said you'd do anything for me, right? Don't worry, just keep me company. No need to play."

With a quiet huff, he sat back down. First, he stayed close to you. Then, it turned into him holding your hand and you had to make do with holding the controller with one hand. Yusei was doing his best to not get scared by the game, but the several flinches, light gasps, and times he squeezed your hand as he determinedly kept his eyes glued on the screen said otherwise.

You paused the game and Yusei let out a sigh of relief.

"Yusei, can you stay there for me?" Yusei's confused look was quick to turn into surprise when you sat in front of him in between his legs. "Alright, you can hug me from behind as I play."

You could feel his smug smile from behind you. "Aw, how intimate of you."

"Playing with one hand is annoying."

"Sure whatever you––" He paused when you resumed the game, already holding your waist and pulling you in. "H-how do you even not flinch?"

"It's really not that bad." You smirked. "Don't worry, I'll protect you, princess."

"Since when did you call me by pet names––"

A jumpscare from the game cut him off. Even you were taken a little off guard. Yusei's grip on you was a little too tight and he quickly apologised. It was nice seeing his usual composed nature fade time to time, even if you played a little dirty. Times like these made you feel a lot closer to him. However, you weren't that cruel, so you only played the game for another few minutes before turning it off.

Yusei sighed. "Finally..."

"Alright! Let's get back to studying," you said.

You tried to get up, but Yusei held you down.

"Can't we stay like this a little longer?" he mumbled, cuddling you closer.

"You procrastinating? Who are you and what have you done to my boyfriend?"

He buried his face in the crook of your neck and smiled. "You should address me as your boyfriend more often. Actually, why don't you call me by any pet names?"

"What? Like babe? Honey? Dearest?"

"... Sounding so sarcastic doesn't exactly make it sound romantic." He chuckled. "Though, I suppose that's part of your charm. Even with the sarcasm, my heart still flutters."

For a few minutes, you sat in silence with him. It wasn't awkward. In fact, it was rather peaceful. Being in his embrace, feeling his warmth, and hearing his soft breathing made you feel relaxed.

"I love you." Hearing him suddenly saying that caught you off guard. "You don't need to say it back, just––"

"You're doing it again." With a sigh, you turned around and playfully flicked his forehead. "Obviously, I love you. And if you doubt that, I'll be deeply offended and will punish you with a horror movie."

"If you allow me to be close to you like this, then I wouldn't mind that too much." He chuckled and stood up, helping you up in the process. "Do you want to continue studying or should we leave there for today?"

"Hm... I think I can go for a little while longer."

"Sure, I'll get some snacks for us."

"Need any help?"

"How about a kiss?"

You shrugged and kissed him on the cheek. Yusei looked a little stunned, lips slightly parted.

"... I expected you to protest."

"And have you annoy me for the next hour?" You laughed. "I'll spare the suffering, thanks."

"Ah, you shouldn't laugh like that. It's too much for my heart."

You stuck your tongue out. "You have no problem saying the cheesiest things."

"Of course, that's how much I love you."

"There you go again."

Yusei laughed, voice gentle and low as a fond look was seen in his eyes. "Alright, alright. I'll stop. Review the material while I'm in the kitchen and I'll quiz you when I'm done."

"A quiz? Oh man, take your time in the kitchen."

"There will be a punishment if you get the answers wrong~"

"Please don't tell me the punishment is––"

"I'll add another five minutes to our study session."

You blinked. "Oh, that's surprisingly normal."

"And you'll owe me a kiss."

"Ah, there he is. The Yusei I know."

"I can't help it." He took your hands in his, before kissing the back of them, looking directly in your eyes. "I'm completely enamoured with you."

Seiji Keichi (flower shop boy!)

Tells you cheesy pickup lines to annoy you. Eventually, you did it back to him and now it's become some cursed habit to woe each other in the worst way possible. Keichi still somehow ends up being charmed, thoughYes, you two make pillow forts during sleepovers. Defend it at all costs Crashes your house unannounced. You do the same to him. You both just kind of accept that potentially at 2am the other might randomly appear on the couch. If anything major happens, you bet Keichi will be running to tell you first. He trust you with any secrets and you do the same to him Very supportive and encouraging! Though, he makes sure that he is realistic. Gives the best advice and takes the time to truly understand you and your perspective. That's why getting in an argument with him is literally impossible. He's too understanding ugh. But if you ever do get in an argument it'll be over something very dumb like: Did you just say you didn't like my favourite colour? Wow. Okay. Didn't know you were like that 🙄 (ofc it's just a joke. But you two keep it up for the entire day because why not)Butterfly kisses. He loves to give and receive them. He asked you to carry him bridal style once as a joke but was lowkey into it and now pretends to fall every now and then so you'd catch himTotally the type to ask at 3am if you would still love him if he was a worm. You said no at one point, he gasped, and then you had to spend hours explaining to him afterwards in detail how you would love and care for him if he was a worm.

"This is a dumb idea." You turned to Keichi. "I'm in."

He smiled. "And that's why I love you."

Here was the sitch. It's morning. A school morning. You decided to pop over to Keichi's house as a surprise visit because why not. After he tackled you with a hug, he then informed you that his father was going to work with no lunch since he was busy in the morning. So, the two of you did the wonderful thing called; panic.

So, here you two were in front of the grocery store with a split checklist for the ingredients. The time limit? Not a lot.

Keichi scanned the room, expression serious. "Okay, you take the right side of the store and I'll take the left. In ten minutes, we reconvene and analyse what we have gathered."

You nodded, dead serious. "Roger that."

"Okay..." The two of you took out your phones and set a timer. "Three... two... one... go!"

And so, the two of you commenced operation: quickly make Keichi's dad lunch so he doesn't starve on his firefighter duty because that will end very badly and also we are concerned for his health. Or, in other words, operation: QMKDLSHDSOHFDBTWEVBAAWACFHH.

A swift glance at the list, you located the items and quickly put them in the basket. The regulars at the store and the storeowner knew who you two were and found your antics amusing.

You looked at the last item on the list. "I have no idea where this is."

Frantically, you texted Keichi.

You

SOS. Where do I find the sauce on my list

Keichi

Oh no. The layout of the store recently changed so I also have no idea

You

Should I ask someone?

Keichi

That's a sensible and logical idea

Keichi

Don't do it

You

You're right

You

Are u done wth your list?

Keichi

Yupp. Actually, I'm like right behind you lmao

Keichi turned a corner and waved at you, phone in hand and basket full of ingredients.

"Okay, we have a minute to find the last item," you said.

He nodded. "Failure means death."

"Exactly––oh, wait." You ushered Keichi to shuffle over to the side and took out the item from the shelf behind him. "It's right here."

"Oh." He paused the timer. "Hell yeah. We made it."

"We still need to make the food, though."

"Right."

And cue the two of you frantically paying for the items before rushing back to Keichi's house. You opened the door and gestured to him to enter first.

"After you, milady."

Keichi laughed and did a dramatic curtsey. "Why thank you, kind sir."

After preparing the kitchen with Keichi, you took off your blazer and cracked your knuckles. Okay, now time for the food making part.

It was chaotic. It didn't need to be, but it was chaotic anyway. You two could make a perfectly normal lunch together and have things progress smoothly. But noo, you both just had to have the brightest idea to turn it into a literal TV drama. Accidentally dropped a utensil? Cue to the dramatic gasps. Accidentally took 0.5 seconds later to get what Seiji asked you to do? Cue the betrayed sobs.

Keichi's father walked in at one point. "I can help––"

You turned around. "No."

"Dad, get back on the couch we're on a mission."

Eventually, the lunch was made. It was a long and treacherous journey for such a complicated dish––not really. It was a simple bento. The rice was done in the shape of a dog, though. It was adorable and tears of joy were cried over such a masterpiece.

You two theatrically presented the bento box to Keichi's father. He laughed and thanked the two of you before heading out.

"Stay safe at work!" Keichi exclaimed.

"Hope you enjoy the food!" You put on your blazer. "Alright, now I need to run my ass to school. I'll see you later?"

"Hold on. I own a bike."

You gasped. "Dude."

Did Keichi speedrun riding a bike to your school? Yes. Yes he did. And it was great. Feeling the wind rush past your face as you and your boyfriend's laughter filled the air was pure serotonin. He stopped in front of your school's gate.

You gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thanks for the ride."

"No worries! Do you wanna pay cash or credit?"

You rolled your eyes. "You should get going before you're late for school."

He checked his watch. "Oh, shoot. You're right."

With a goofy grin, he playfully blew a kiss and winked before heading off. You laughed and waved goodbye before heading into school, already feeling energetic for the day.

Kasumi Himari

Think of this: you come to Himari's house drenched since you were caught in the rain.

"God, you're so annoying." Wraps a blanket around you. "Why am I even dating you?" Makes you your favorite hot drink and carefully hands it to you, warning you to not burn yourself. "You're lucky I haven't broken up with you yet." Gives you a kiss on the forehead and stays with you until you're better.

Pretends to hate it when you show affection, but gets even grumpier when you stop Matching keychains, matching jewellery, matching shirts; bro, her heart melts at it––even if she denies the fact. One time while shopping she purposely tried to buy the same shirts for you two. Likes it when you wear her perfume. Bad hair day? Too tired to look presentable? Not feeling the best? Call her and she'd break down your door to take care of you no matter the time of the day it is. Similar to Kai, will look for any excuse for you to wear her clothes.Likes to sneakily hold your hand whether it'll be under the table or randomly on dates. If you try to let go, she'd glare at you.

"I bet those would look so hot on you."

"What?"

You pointed to a store that had a bunch of dresses on display. "Those clothes! Oh, and I bet the jewellery over there will look gorgeous too."

During school, Himari briefly mentioned in passing that she needed to buy new makeup on the weekends. Of course, you insisted that you came along with her. She acted like she didn't want you to come, but she was also the one texting you all the details and confirming everyday if you were still up for it.

So, here you were at the mall holding her hand and having the best time of your life.

"Let's try a bunch of stuff for fun. We have time to kill, right?"

She shrugged. "Sure, whatever."

First up was trying on matching caps. You even took a mirror selfie with her. Next, was clothes.

"Try this."

You pouted. "Aw, but I wanted to see you in cool clothes."

"You don't have any fashion sense. And I always wear stylish clothes."

"True. You're always hot."

Himari managed to hold back the fluster in her voice. "(Y/n)."

"Okay, okay~ Be right back."

Entering the dressing room, you took the time to examine the clothes Himari selected for you. An impressed whistle left your lips. Man, she had great fashion senses. You happily wore the clothes and walked out of the dressing room, giving her a small twirl and smile.

"So? How about it?"

Himari was reading a magazine while waiting for you to get changed. When she looked up, she was speechless. God, she thought you were gorgeous. But obviously, she can't let you know that.

"It's okay... I guess. If you like it, then get it."

"Aw, if it's just okay then I won't get it."

Oh fuck. She thought.

"So what? That's just my opinion. If you like it, you should get it." She then mumbled, "it looks good on you, okay? Geez..."

That's when Himari had a thought. Has (Y/n) ever looked unattractive? She saw you with bed hair once and thought you were adorable. When you were utterly exhausted with school and had dark circles, she still thought you looked good. Even when you purposefully made 'ugly' faces she was still somehow charmed by you.

She slammed the magazine closed and stood up. "(Y/n), stay here for a bit."

You shrugged. "Alright, love~"

Himari turned away before you could see the red on her face and approached one of the staffs in the store.

"I need a recommendation," she said, voice stern and determined.

The staff nodded her head. "Of course! What are you looking for?"

"What are the ugliest clothes here?"

"Pardon?"

"Didn't you hear me the first time? I need clothes that look bad."

"U-uhm... Well, I can direct you to unpopular selections."

"Yeah, that'll do."

Himari searched for the most unflattering clothes, making sure to choose colours that did not compliment you and styles of clothes that you weren't a fan of. She paid close attention to what you liked to wear not because she was always staring at you or anything so finding stuff you didn't like was a piece of cake.

Satisfied, she came back to you. "Okay, try these on."

You looked at the interesting selection of clothes. Well, if Himari wanted you to try it on, who were you to say no? A little confused, you accepted the clothes.

"Okay, be right back."

You closed the dressing room door. Wow, these clothes are... interesting. They weren't revealing or inappropriate. But they weren't super flattering. Shrugging, you wore it anyway and looked at yourself in the mirror.

I've definitely seen better on me

You stepped out of the changing room. "Hm, these aren't really my kind of clothes."

Himari paused. No way. What the hell. Yeah, it was obvious that those clothes didn't do you justice, but you still looked fine to her? Not even a wince or cringe? She can't even muster a genuine 'you look terrible'! What?! What?!

She took in a deep breath before letting out a long sigh. "Yeah...They suck. You can take them off now."

You had no idea what that was about, but you didn't question it. She looked conflicted, though. You wonder what that was about. After you finished that little session with Himari and exited the store, you noticed that she was deep in thought. Suddenly, she held your face in her hands, causing your cheeks to warm up.

She examined your features. "Yeah, I don't understand."

"???"

She let go of your face and carried on. You blinked before suddenly grabbing her hand.

"Himari, you can't just do that and not give me a kiss."

"What the––why would I want to kiss you?"

"Because... I'm your girlfriend?" You smiled. "Can I kiss you then?"

She paused. "... What kind of relationship is this if you need to ask for permission every time you want to kiss me?"

Your eyes lit up. "Are you saying I can surprise kiss you right now and you won't yell at me?"

She rolled her eyes and you frowned.

"What? I didn't say no."

You grinned. After silently fist-bumping yourself, you leaned in for a quick peck on the lips.

Himari looked dissatisfied. "That's it?"

You gave her a blank stare. With a huff, the brunette pulled you into an affectionate, but also somewhat rough, kiss. Your eyes widened in surprise before you happily indulged. When she pulled away, you had a cheerful grin on your lips––that Himari found adorable but won't admit–– and you gave her another kiss on the cheek.

"Aw man, sucks that we're in public. I wanted to go on longer."

Himari desperately needed a fan to calm down her heated face. Seriously, you were going to be the death of her.

Satoshi Masaru

Of course, he has you as his lock screen. Why wouldn't he?Yeah, he sketches you often. It's literally impossible for him to get bored of itOften daydreams about you in class Likes to tease you every now and then. Seeing your flustered expression is great. Actually, seeing you make any kind of expression is great. You could be mad at him and he'd be like 'okay, but her expression is cute'Surprise dates are his favourites. He's not a spontaneous person himself, but if it's with you then it's great Very observant so he notices your little habits. Finds them cute. But if they're bad habits, he'd do his best to help you stop doing them

The gentle and soothing pitter patter of rain hitting against the roof and ground coaxed you into a peaceful yet drowsy state. Warm drink in hand, a blanket wrapped around you; you sat on a couch simply relaxing and listening to the rain. Setting your drink down on the table beside the couch, you glanced down to your boyfriend sleeping on your lap and your hand rested on his head.

A peaceful express on his soft features followed by light breathing; he looked absolutely adorable to you. You brushed a stray strand of hair out of his picturesque face and he shifted a little before his eyes slowly opened.

"Whoops, did I wake you up?"

There was a dazed look in his gold eyes before a small yawn parted his lips. Masaru looked at you before closing his eyes again and snuggling deeper into your lap, a content sigh leaving his lips. You laughed softly. How cute. And took your hand off his head. At that, Masaru opened his eyes again. He glanced at you with a displeased expression before grabbing your hand and putting it back on his head.

"I'm assuming you're awake now?" you asked, ruffling his soft hair.

Masaru gave you a sleepy reply. "Mhm."

"Wanna get up now? I'm actually getting pins and needles."

"What if I don't?"

"Then..." You lightly poked his waist, earning a small flinch from him. "You're ticklish, aren't you?"

He chuckled softly. "Alright, alright. I'm up."

Masaru stood up and fluttered his eyes, trying to dispel the drowsiness in them. "Hm, I'm still a little sleepy."

A playful look crossed his expression and he suddenly pulled you closer to his chest. Before you had the chance to say anything, he laid back onto the couch, taking you down with him.

"Let's take a nap together like this."

You playfully rolled your eyes. "Ah-ha. Keeping my hands captive so that I don't tickle you and break free?"

"Maybe I just want to hug you tightly?"

"Maybe you wanted an excuse to be lazy for the rest of the day?"

"Exams are over, aren't they?"

You yawned. "True."

"Oh, are you getting tired?"

"Yeah... your embrace is really warm."

You rolled over to the side so that he was hugging you from behind rather than you being suffocated in his chest. Masaru nuzzled his face in your neck. "... This is peaceful. If only time stopped and we could stay like this."
