"SENKU!"

Taiju and Yuzuriha yelled his name, both of them stared at the male with a baffled expression. They couldn't comprehend that the male that was on the floor lifeless was now standing in front of them.

Taiju's burst into tears. He ran towards Senku, giving him a huge hug as he wailed, getting a bunch of snot on Senku's shirt. The scientist kicked Taiju off as he kept weeping, annoyed at the fact that Taiju's hug almost crushed his whole body. You couldn't help but laugh at the males interaction, although Yuzuriha stared at them with a nervous smile.

The scientist panted as he rested both of his arms on his hips, Senku noticed your heartfelt laugh, it reminded him of like a warm melody, it made him feel more at ease. The male chucked as he regained his composure. Yuzuriha gave senku a look of worry, she expected the male to be more sentimental. Senku reassured her, a faint smile pursuing his lips.

"Yuzuriha, you know I'm not the kind of guy to do the "emotional, teary-eyed gratitude" kind of thing, so don't expect that."

"Yeah. Welcome back, Senku."

Yuzuriha sliced a piece of fabric, sewing other pieces of fabric onto each other, creating a flag that represents a rocket flying into space.

"What do you think? Does that look like a rocket ship to you?" Yuzuriha asked you three, eagerly waiting each of your responses.

"There's a bunch of stars too!" Taiju exclaimed.

"I mean if you tilt your head to the side, you can kind of tell it is, right senku?" You answered, turning your head towards him. Your hand was on your chin, your tone also was a bit uncertain.

"Yeah, no. I'm not seeing it." Senku replied, with a doubtful tone.

Yuzuriha told you guys it was a science flag, telling senku that it would be perfect for him. She gave him a close eyed smile, as she held up the flag, letting you three take a better look at it. She tied the flag onto a wooden piece that was basically the same height as senku, she wrapped it around his neck, telling the skeptical scientist that it can even help him stabilize his neck.

"Great idea!" Taiju exclaimed.

"And now you have a splint, see?"

"Ten-billion percent sure I don't need this."

"Hey, m/n. What's your opinion on it?"

Yuzuriha asked you, she seemed to be curious on what you thought of it.

"Well, personally I think the flag looks nice. Senku's face also ties it well all together." You covered your mouth with your hand, trying to keep your laughter inside of you.

"Seriously?" The scientist scoffed as he tugged on the scarf, readjusting it to make him be able to move his neck more freely.

"I'm perfectly fine, okay? Professor Senku volunteered his body and the experiment was a great success."

Senku admired the restorative effects of de-petrification. Telling us about how sometimes it can be beneficial, while Taiju just laughed and he too started to appreciate them. He compared soap and the petrification to some kind of medication, calling it dr stone.

"yeah. Come to think of it, it is pretty odd. When the petrification is undone, the affected area is rejuvenated."

The scientist told us that It's an extremely beneficial scientific phenomenon. Wondering what was the force, or who the one who petrified them, he even pondered if it was even an attack at all.

" seeing as it was able to fix Senku's neck, maybe if we pierce these statues back together and pour the revival fluid on them, they'll come back whole again"

Yuzuriha exclaimed, holding a fragment of woman's stone arm as she stood beside the petrified stone woman whose arm it belonged to.

Senku told her that he already tried that in one of his old experiments, adding that they just turned into dismembered corpses which left a shocked expression on Yuzuriha's face. As the scientist used the broom to sweep away our footprints, he also explained there has to be some logical reason as to why it doesn't work.

Senku's eyes widened, he walked up towards Yuzuriha as he prayed for the woman who was turned to stone. Telling her that Taiju was way too crude to pull it off, and that your specialty was more different was theirs, he told her something that you couldn't hear since he whispered it to her. You assumed that he asked her something like about putting back the petrified body together or about Taiju and Yuzuriha joining the Tsukasa empire.

You and Taiju kept sweeping up the footprints that you've left behind, Taiju asked if the pair were trading secrets with a dumb grin on his face.

" uh . . . I was saying that," she paused for a second and gave a nervous smile towards Taiju and you, " maybe the three of us should go meet up with Tsukasa! "

"Well there's an idea! Go see Tsukasa, eh?" It took a few seconds for the brute male to comprehend what she was saying, he obviously disapproved at that idea at first and lashed out on her.

" wait, us three?" you pointed at yourself and Yuzuriha nodded with beads of sweat falling from her forehead, her answer made your eyebrows furrow, she was obviously nervous.

"that is exactly the advantage we gained in that little fight. Listen, Tsukasa thinks I'm rotting in hell right now. I, on the other hand, know his whereabouts in the real world."

you turned your head towards senku, an expression that you couldn't describe emerged on your face. the scientist could feel your stare towards him, "don't give me such a face, m/n" Senku retorted, he cracked his neck.

He stated that we have a major advantage in this war since of the result of his 'death' as he held one of his fingers up, stating if we act as spies we'll have a bigger advantage than ever. Despite knowing that it'll be more logical and safer for you to act as a spy, you just couldn't let your only chance of meeting the others go to waste.

Perhaps it was a sign of your selfishness, a selfish longing for friends that you never could've gotten in the old world, in your old body. But in this new one, you could and you were not taking chances of loosing it.

You three walked down the hill, you were protesting against the scientist wishes of acting as a spy. You used as many excuses that your mind could come up with until Senku finally gave in, putting his logic aside just to let this discussion end. As much as Senku enjoyed your presence, he really hated your pestering.

He told Yuzuriha to give Tsukasa an excuse, that you were to overcome with anger for the death of your friend and that you couldn't bare to see Tsukasa.

Senku told us what Tsukasa's was planning, he also explained on how to stop his plans and the so-called purification, that we'll create our own rebel army, the kingdom of science. Yuzuriha asked how he'll pull it off, he simply replied that he will find whoever sent up those smoke signals and create them into our allies. Senku hoped that the one who sent the smoke signal wouldn't run into Tsukasa, but you probably assumed she's likely fighting him right now.

You said your goodbyes to each other, promising that you'd see this through till the end. You walked your ways, Yuzuriha walked with Taiju while you walked with Senku.
