After punching a wall in the Bar in an attempt to hit Tsukishima, Chad and Ginjou headed outside, flying to the top of the roof.

Ginjo: You idiot! Don't make things worse than they already are! Ichigo activated his Fullbring. I say it's time we tell him what we know about Tsukishima now.

Chad: Not yet. We still don't know how powerful Ichigo's Fullbring is. And we don't know if he has full control of it yet. Right now, telling him that Tsukishima attacked (Y/N), Orihime and Uryu would only agitate him.

"I see. So he's the one."



Chad realized too late that Ichigo had already caught up to them and overheard their conversation.

Chad: Ichigo!

Ichigo: I didn't realize you guys were so concerned about me...

"Looks that way."

Tsukishima landed behind Ichigo as he spoke.

Ichigo: Were you the one who attacked Orihime and (Y/N) and the one who cut down Uryu?

Tsukishima: What do you think?

Ichigo dashed towards Tsukishima swinging his sword wildly.



Tsukishima: Hmm? Is this your Fullbring? You're strong, I'll grant you that.

As the fight continued, Ichigo started to use more Fullbring abilities.

Chad: *thinking* It was slight, but during his jump he applied Fullbring to the air to accelerate himself. Ichigo... you've already mastered Fullbring to that extent?

Tsukishima: I see... Looks like you're more capable than I had thought. But it's not good enough. Your Fullbring power itself...

Tsukishima clashed blades with Ichigo once again.

Tsukishima: is still far from being complete.

The spiritual pressure that cloaked Ichigo's body started to dissipate.



Tsukishima used this chance to kick Ichigo into the rooftop of the bar.



Tsukishima: If you concentrate on your right arm, the Fullbring on your left arm becomes undone all too easily. Case in point, you were unable to break your fall just now right?

Tsukishima dashed to swing his blade at Ichigo, however Ginjo intercepted.



Ginjo: Sorry... Looks like it's still a bit too early to let Ichigo fight you.

Tsukishima: Are you going to interfere, Ginjo?

Ginjo: I guess we see things differently. If you ask me, you're the one who's interfering.

Ichigo: Ginjo... Move!

Ginjo: Can't do.

Ichigo: I said... Get out of the way!

Ginjo then hit Ichigo in the head.



Ginjo: Don't you get it? I'm saying you're in the way. You don't get slammed from that height and come away unscathed with a mortal body. Right now, you're struggling just to breathe. We can't afford to have you die. Now shut up and go to sleep.

Ichigo: Ginjo...

Ichigo struggled to get up.

Tsukishima: Are you serious about this? If you fight me, you'll die, Ginjo.

Ginjo: We really don't see things the same way, do we? If we cross swords, aren't you the one who's going to die?

(Meanwhile) (Y/N)'s POV

(Y/N) sensed the multiple spiritual pressures located around Ichigo and felt one that was eerily familiar.

(Y/N): If I had to guess... One of them is Tsukishima...

From within his head he could hear Thanatos speak.

Thanatos: Yep, that's him alright. Let's end this once and for all. Strawberry's spiritual energy is fluctuating so his fullbring might not be complete. He needs assistance.

Thanks to Thanatos' ability of Pesquisa, Thanatos took control of (Y/N)'s body for a moment to sense the rest of the Fullbringers that surrounded Ichigo.

Thanatos: None of them seem particularly strong outside of the one that is taking on Tsukishima. We can handle them all if they prove to be enemies.

(Y/N): Alright then. At the very least I know where they're located. Let's roll.

(Y/N) ran towards the rooftop where his friends were and immediately swapped to his Shinigami form.

(Y/N): Sorry guys, may or may not have to skip lunch. Watch my body for me until I get back.

Tatsuki: Is it another Hollow attack?

(Y/N): Unfortunately, something much worse, but nothing I can't handle.

Mizuiro: Well we'll watch over your body for you.

(Y/N): I don't want you guys to skip class though. This may take me a while...

Keigo: I'll take one for the team. You owe me lunch if I get in trouble though.

(Y/N): *chuckles* Fine by me. Alright I'm off-

Just then (Y/N)'s phone got a notification. (Y/N) searched his body for his phone and saw a text from his dad.

(Y/N): Why would he text me during school?

(Y/N) opened the text and it read.

"Leave school immediately. Urahara needs both of us to come to the Soul Society with him. And I mean in like... A few minutes"

(Y/N): Mr. Urahara didn't include that in his text message-

Just then, (Y/N) got a text from his spirit phone.

(Y/N): I hate having two phones sometimes...

(Y/N) looked at his phone and saw text from Urahara.

"I forgot to mention. I need you to get to the shop as soon as possible. Getting everything setup for tonight might take a while so we need ample time to get everything done."

(Y/N): How did he forget to include important information! *sigh* Why does he want us to sit back?

(Y/N) picked up his body and looked back towards his friends.

(Y/N): Change of plans, I'm skipping school for the day.

Mizuiro: Sounds serious.

(Y/N): Yeah. Listen, if you guys see a guy wearing a white collar shirt and suspenders with a scar on his right eyebrow, run away immediately.

Tatsuki: With a description that detail I assume you've fought him before.

(Y/N): Yeah. His name is Shukuro Tsukishima and so far we believe he has some sort of memory manipulation ability.

Keigo: That definitely isn't ominous.

(Y/N): I recommend you guys head directly home after school. This guy could mean trouble.

(Y/N) took off immediately as he started to text Uryu about the info he found out.

(Y/N): Alright... now to settle one more thing.

(Y/N) dialed a number into his phone.

(Y/N): Hey Hiyori. sorry to call abruptly but I need a favor.

(Meanwhile)

Ginjo and Tsukishima were in a heated battle. Ichigo attempted to rejoin the fight but was stopped by Chad.

Ichigo: Chad!

Chad: Don't. Ichigo, I know you realize the difference in power. In your condition, it'd be impossible to beat him! What you're seeing is a fight between two Fullbringers.

Ichigo: So you want me to simply stand by and watch?! You want me to let the guy who attacked Orihime, (Y/N) and Uryu go?!

Chad: I'm not saying that! I'm saying it's still too early to fight him!

Ichigo couldn't stand sitting on the sidelines.

Ichigo: Let go of me!

Ichigo broke out of Chad's grip and took off to help Ginjo.

Chad: Ichigo!

Meanwhile, Tsukishima and Ginjo were trading hits. Ginjo's fullbring then started to glow a light green color. The glow then took the same shape as Ginjo's Fullbring.



Ginjo swung his sword, full of energy, down on Tsukishima, pretty much cutting the building in half.



However, Tsukishima just flew out of the attack unscathed, just barely cutting Ginjo in his forehead.

Tsukishima: That was dangerous. You cut pretty deep into the building. What if there were people inside?

Ginjo: Don't worry. I made sure to choose an abandoned building when I jumped over.

While Tsukishima seemed distracted, Ichigo tried to attack Tsukishima from behind.



However, Tsukishima reacted in time to block the strike.

Tsukishima: You really don't get it, do you? Your Fullbring is still incomplete.

Ichigo then swung his sword at Tsukishima yet again, this time injuring Tsukishima's hand.

Tsukishima: Such a big difference from a second ago. Not bad. Your power is now much closer to the power you once possessed.

"Invaders Must Die."

Immediately, the world started to digitize around Ichigo before a box started to form around him.

Invaders Must Die.

Ichigo: What is this?!

Tsukishima: I see. You don't want me to come in contact with Ichigo Kurosaki when his powers are still incomplete. Especially when he's so close to perfecting it. Right, Yukio?



Tsukishima: But maybe you made a mistake. Shouldn't you have confined me in there, instead?

Yukio: Sorry. I didn't have enough battery life to save you. Plus, that wasn't why I saved Kurosaki. Listen. You hear that?

From the ground, many civilians as well as law enforcement started to gather around the building trying to figure out what the problem was.

Yukio: We've attracted a crowd, the police and the fire department. We've caused violent explosions. TV news choppers might even come flying by soon. Wouldn't that be a problem for you, as well, Mr. Tsukishima?

Before Tsukishima could answer, another fullbringer held a weirdly shaped gun to his back.

Tsukishima: The Love gun?

Riruka: That's right! You know what it can do! You made it! So, mind making yourself scarce? I'm not really good at these types of things.

Yukio: Get going, Mr. Tsukishima. But if you want to make a spectacle of yourself, then I suggest you stay here.

Tsukishima: All right. See you again, Riruka.

Tsukishima left in a blink of an eye. As Tsukishima left he thought to himself.

Tsukishima: *thinking* Ichigo's progressing faster than expected. I think we can finally progress things to the final step.

From afar, Asuka was among the police force. She saw how insane the damage to the building was.

Asuka: Superhumans are ridiculous...

(Timeskip) Hospital

Uryu was reading a book in his hospital bed. Just then, a knock was at the door.

Uryu: Come in.

The person on the other side of the door turned out to be Orihime.

Orihime: Uryu?

Uryu: Sorry to call you here on such short notice. Thank you for coming.

Orihime: No, don't mention it. How're you feeling?

Uryu: A lot better.

Orihime: That's good! So, what's the matter?

Uryu: About that... I want you to heal these wounds right now.

Orihime: Huh? Sure, no problem. But why all of a sudden?

Uryu: The situation's changed. (Y/N) told me there's more fullbringers out there and that Kurosaki may have come in contact with them and got powers from them. Not only that but Kurosaki made contact with the guy who did this to me. His Spiritual Pressure is different than it was before, but it was definitely Kurosaki's. I can't bide my time recovering in bed. You've sensed that something's different, too, haven't you?

Orihime: Yes, I did, but Kurosaki hasn't said anything to me yet so I've kept my distance. But if the presence I sensed together with Kurosaki is the person who attacked you, then I think he's the same person who attacked me.

This surprised Uryu.

Uryu: What? You and I were attacked by the same person, but the extent of your injuries versus mine suggests an enemy with different capabilities.

Uryu thought to himself.

Uryu: I need some time to think about this for a moment.

While Uryu did that, Orihime healed his wounds.

Orihime: You seem deep in thought Uryu. I'll leave you to it. I should take my leave.

Uryu: Alright then, get home safe.

Orihime: Thanks! And rest up well.

Orihime then left the hospital. As she walked she thought to herself.

Orihime: I feel like I'm forgetting something important. (Y/N) said something to me but I can't remember what...

As Orihime continued to walk she ran into Chad.

Chad: Orihime? If you're taking this street... Were you at the hospital?

Orihime: Yes. I was there, healing Uryu's injuries.

Chad: I see. How did it go?

Orihime: His wounds have healed, but I think he should stay in bed a bit longer. They don't seem to be injuries caused by ordinary Spiritual Pressure

Chad: I see. I'm glad I met you here. I wanted to ask you how Ishida was doing. Tell me as we walk back.

Orihime: Huh? W-Wait, Chad! Where are we going?

Chad: To where Ichigo is. From here on, Ichigo's training will require your powers!



Orihime: If that's the case why don't we also get (Y/N)'s help! He's good at healing as well.

Chad had a look of indecisiveness on his face.

Chad: I'm not sure that's a good idea.

Orihime: Huh? Why not?

Chad: (Y/N) probably hasn't mentioned it to you but... He and Ichigo had a pretty bad argument.

Orihime: Really? But those two never get mad at each other.

Chad: Well (Y/N) said some... harsh things to Ichigo at the time. They were unfortunately true but it definitely affected Ichigo nonetheless. (Y/N) only did what he did to protect Ichigo.

Orihime: So... they aren't friends anymore?

Chad: No, I doubt they would end their friendship over what was said but... I think they both needed time to think about what happened. Besides, even if I wanted to find (Y/N), his spiritual pressure just disappeared suddenly.

Orihime: Do you think he's alright?

Chad: Yeah. I think we'd have gotten a call from one of (Y/N)'s family members if he wasn't.

Orihime: Well let's get going. I'm sure we can convince Ichigo to talk things over with (Y/N)!

Chad: Yeah. I guess you're right. I think it'll be easier once his training is complete as well.

Orihime and Chad then headed to Ichigo's location.
