(Earlier that day)

Ichigo had completed his fullbring training thanks to Ginjo. Ichigo had just stepped out of the training grounds and was greeted by Yukio.

Yukio: Welcome back. Looks like you managed to complete it. You were taking so long that I was beginning to worry when the battery in this thing was going to run out.

Ichigo: Yeah, sorry to take up your time.

Ginjo: In any case, you should go home for today and see your sisters. They must be worried after not hearing from you.

Ichigo: That's right! I haven't called them at all! How many days have I been training here?!

Yukio: Just about one whole day, maybe?

Ichigo: Huh?

Yukio: That's because I fast-forwarded time while you were inside. You should thank me. Now go on home. I'm sure they're all anxiously waiting for you.

Ichigo took off, feeling a source of confidence and happiness, knowing that he now had his powers back. He could now protect the people he cared about. As Ichigo got home, he realized the lights were still on, despite how late it was.

Ichigo: *thinking* They're still up? I probably had them worried.

Ichigo opened the door.

Ichigo: I'm home

Yuzu: Welcome home! Thank goodness! You're finally back!

Ichigo: Yeah. I'm sorry I'm so late.

Yuzu: We were waiting for you!

Ichigo took off his shoes but as he looked by his doorstep, he recognized unfamiliar shoes.

Ichigo: Hey, whose shoes are...

Yuzu: An old friend came to visit today!

Ichigo: An old friend? Who?

Ichigo was confused.

Ichigo: *thinking* The only people I hang out with are my friends from school.

Yuzu: Guess.

Ichigo: I don't know without a hint.

Yuzu: Okay, here's a hint! He's one of our cousins!

Ichigo: A cousin?

As far as Ichigo was concerned, he didn't have any cousins. Yuzu ran to the living room to inform their "cousin" of Ichigo's arrival.

Yuzu:Brother came home!

As Ichigo walked into the living room, his eyes widened at who he saw.



Tsukishima: Hi, Ichigo. It's been a while.

Yuzu: See? Aren't you surprised, Brother? It's Shu! How many years has it been? It's so good to see him again! He came this evening and we had dinner together! It was so nice to have dinner with Shu after all these years! I wanted to invite (Y/N) and the rest of his family to come over since they haven't seen him in a while either, but they weren't answering the phone.

Karin: He showed up unannounced. That part of you hasn't changed, Shu.

Tsukishima: Sorry. Did I cause you guys trouble?

Karin: N-No, of course not.

Yuzu: C'mon, Brother! Say hi to Shu!

Ichigo was panicking at the sight of Tsukishima. Ichigo then grabbed Tsukishima by the collar.

Ichigo: Tsukishima! You bastard! What're you doing here?!



Karin and Yuzu got scared after seeing Ichigo's hostile action against Tsukishima.

Yuzu: Brother?!

Karin: Ichi!

Yuzu: Stop it, Brother! What're you doing?!

Karin: What's wrong with you, Ichi?! You're hurting Shu! Let him go!

Yuzu: Are you angry that Shu dropped by without notice?!

Ichigo: What did you do to Yuzu and Karin?!

Yuzu and Karin didn't know how to calm down the aggression that Ichigo had, however, Tsukishima reassured them both.

Tsukishima: It's all right, Yuzu, Karin. Ichigo's always so serious. He must be angry with me for staying so late.

Ichigo: Answer me!!

Just then, the doorbell rang.

Tsukishima: Yuzu, would you mind? It's probably Keigo and the others.



Ichigo's fury grew more after hearing Tsukishima call the name of his friend. Just then ichigo heard the door open and heard their voices.

Mizuiro: Hey, good evening, Yuzu.

Yuzu: Hi! Here, go ahead and use these slippers!

Keigo: Oh, thanks!

Tatsuki: We're coming in!

All three of Ichigo's friends walked into the living room.

Keigo: Shu, we're here. Huh? Oh, Ichigo's here, too.

Mizuiro: You're right.

Tatsuki: Hey Ichigo! We hear you've been staying out late these days?! You should come home earlier! You're making Yuzu and Karin feel lonely!

Karin: That's okay. We're not lonely!

Ichigo just stared at his friends with a blank face, confused at what was going on. Tsukishima continued to act normal.

Tsukishima: I asked them to come. I wanted to see everyone since it's been such a long time. I'm sorry about calling everyone so late at night but tomorrow's Sunday, so it's okay, right? You know... maybe I'll call Chad and Orihime, too.

Tsukishima dialed Orihime's number in his phone and waited for her to answer.

Tsukishima: Orihime? It's me.

That's right. Tsukishima.

Huh? What are you talking about? We met just the other day.

Actually, I'm at Ichigo's place now.

Ichigo, filled with anger at this point, punched Tsukishima. The punch caused Tsukishima to recoil into the window, breaking it in the process.



Everyone was shocked and ran to Tsukishima's side.

Keigo: What the?!

Tatsuki: Mr. Tsukishima!!

Ichigo: Tell me, Tsukishima! What did you do to everyone?!

Tatsuki: Are you all right, Mr. Tsukishima?

Tsukishima: Yeah I'm okay.

Keigo: You're not okay! You're bleeding!

Tatsuki turned to Ichigo.

Tatsuki: Ichigo! What're you doing?! I don't know what you're so upset about, but that's no way to treat your relative who you haven't seen in years!

Ichigo: Relative?! No! This guy is...

Tatsuki: What about him?! Never mind! Apologize!!

Ichigo: You don't understand Tsukishima is-

Tatsuki: Apologize to Mr. Tsukishima!

Mizuiro: Ichigo?

Keigo: Hey Ichigo, what's gotten into you? You're nuts.

Mizuiro: Yeah, what happened?

Yuzu: Brother? What happened to you?

Karin: What's gotten into you, Ichi?

Ichigo stood in disbelief as he suddenly became the bad guy. Everyone was judging him. He couldn't find the words to tell them that this was all a lie. Nobody seems to find the situation strange. In reality, he was the one acting strange. And Ichigo couldn't bear all the pressure he was currently under.

Ichigo jumped out of the window that he had broken and ran off out. Everyone called out to him in worry but he ignored them.

Ichigo: *thinking* What's happening? Is this Tsukishima's power?!

As Ichigo ran through the streets a car stopped in front of him. It turned out to be his boss, Ikumi Unagiya.

Ikumi: Oh, if it isn't Ichigo! What happened? Now that I look at you you're covered in sweat. What happened?



(Timeskip)

Ikumi: Here, drink this. Stay here until you calm down. If you want to tell me about what happened, tell me.

Ichigo: Thank you Ms. Ikumi...

Ichigo was in Ikumi's office. She gave him a cup of water and a seat to sit in. Just then the doorbell rang.

Ikumi: Who could it be at this hour?

Ikumi got out of her chair and went to open the door.

Ikumi: Coming.

Ichigo sat in silence as he thought to himself.

Ichigo: Tell her what happened? No. There's no way I can tell her. Ms. Ikumi doesn't know about Soul Reapers, Hollows or Fullbring. Telling her such things out of the blue would only make her uneasy!

Ichigo was taken out of his thoughts as Ikumi spoke to him again.

Ikumi: You're in luck, Ichigo. Mr. Tsukishima's here to pick you up!



...

Ichigo was once again running for his life. Wherever Ichigo went, Tsukishima knew where he was.

What is this?!

Ichigo: *thinking* What the hell's going on? Anybody! Isn't there anybody left who's still sane?! (Y/N), where are you?!

Just then a voice called out to Ichigo. Ichigo turned around and saw Ginjo running behind him.

Ginjo: He got them! Riruka, Kutsuzawa, Yukio, and Jackie! Tsukishima got them all!



(Meanwhile) (Y/N)'s POV

The Senkaimon opened up as Urahara, (F/N), (Y/N), Yoruichi and Rukia got ready to return to the World of the Living.

Urahara: Thank you all for your help and assistance.

(Y/N): We couldn't have done it without your help.

Yamamoto: Raise your heads. I've already said before that this is our way of repaying our debt to Ichigo.

(Y/N): I know but I'm sure you all will face judgement from Central 46 for this, won't you?

Yamamoto: The reason why I commanded everyone to contribute to this project is because Central 46 has no way of punishing every single Shinigami here. Especially if I'm the one giving the order.

Urahara: We appreciate everything you all did in order to make this happen.

Urahara turned towards (Y/N).

Urahara: Let's head back. We've had Isshin waiting long enough.

(Y/N): Right!

Yamamoto: Before you go.

The group stopped themselves from entering the Senkaimon and turned around.

Yamamoto: There will be a group of Shinigami's coming to assist you shortly. According to (Y/N) (L/N)'s report, alongside Ginjo Kugo, his other associates may very well be enemies as well, meaning there will be a total of 6 enemies for you to face. All with abilities we aren't sure of. Complete the very last preparations of that sword and give it to Ichigo Kurosaki.

Urahara: Understood.

(Y/N): Thank you.

Yamamoto: With that being said, go.

The group then walked into the Senkaimon.
