(Y/N) stared at dad with a heavy heart. Sure, Tsukishima wasn't a good person whatsoever, but his dad grew up with him. He put himself in his father's shoes. He would have a hard time coming to terms with killing Ichigo or anyone he's become friends with over the 2 years.

(Y/N): Hey Ichigo...

Ichigo: What?

(Y/N): Hypothetically, if I turned evil one day... Would you be able to cut me down?

Ichigo: Huh? You're the last person who'd turn evil.

(Y/N): It's just a hypothetical situation.

Ichigo thought about it for a moment.

Ichigo: I... I don't know.

(Y/N): If you were to turn evil, I'd hesitate for sure... And if I did cut you down... It would for sure leave a negative impact on me.

(Y/N) looked back to his father. (F/N) didn't shed any tears, but he could definitely see the conflicting look in his eyes.

Renji then walked up to the two Substitute Shinigami.

Renji: What's up with you two?

(Y/N): Nothing.

Renji: Huh? Well whatever. Good job on taking out Ginjo Kugo.

Renji picked up Ginjo's deceased body.

Ichigo: What are you doing?

Renji: Gotta return the body to the Soul Society. He was our responsibility and we once again you two had to handle it.

(Y/N): I see...

Renji: Well I have to meet up with the rest of the captains. Take the time to rest. You both deserve it.

As Renji walked off with Ginjo's body, (Y/N) started to enter deep in thought. Ichigo noticed and tried to get (Y/N)'s attention.

Ichigo: Hey, (Y/N)? You alright?

*bonk*

Ichigo hit (Y/N) in the head, snapping him out of his thoughts.

(Y/N): Ow...

Ichigo: What are you spacing out for?

(Y/N): I was just thinking if it's really alright to take Ginjo's body to the Soul Society...

Ichigo thought about it for a minute.

Ichigo: Yeah I guess I understand. It would feel more respectful to bury him here in the World of the Living.

(Y/N): Perhaps we should get permission to do so.

Ichigo: Yeah. Let's deal with that tomorrow though... I'm exhausted.

(Y/N): Same...

(Timeskip) The next day.

(F/N) was in Mr. Aoi's office at the police station, despite being on vacation. Asuka was standing next to him. In front of him was a file for a case. The very same one that reported the missing "Shukuro Tsukishima".

Aoi: This is definitely an old one... I wouldn't have believed you found him if you didn't report the body.

(F/N): Yeah... I couldn't have done it without Asuka.

Asuka: Nonsense. I was just in the way.

(F/N): I disagree.

Aoi: Let's just say you both did your part of the job... *sigh* What happened to that lazy recruit from all those years ago? You've become a workaholic. Even on vacation you find a way to get work done. Seriously, take your time off to enjoy it with your family.

(F/N): I'll try.

Aoi: Now get out of my office. If you don't enjoy your vacation, I'll fire you.

(F/N): *chuckle* Alright, I heard you the first time.

(F/N) exited the office, leaving Asuka and Aoi by themselves.

Aoi: He needs to take his mind off of things...

Asuka looked confused.

Asuka: What do you mean?

Aoi: I'm not stupid. It's obvious (F/N) had a connection with the victim of this case. It's written all over his face. That's why he got himself involved.

Asuka didn't say anything.

Aoi: He'll overcome this. He just needs some time away from work.

Asuka: You sure put a lot of trust in (L/N).

Aoi: I taught him everything I know. And now he's learned things I'll never know. I can very well retire and leave things in his hands at this point. And about time too. I'm far too old to keep going in this field

Asuka: I see.

(Meanwhile) Squad 13 Barracks

Sentaro: Captain!

Kiyone: Captain Ukitake!

Both Sentaro and Kiyone stood in front of Ukitake's quarters.

Sentaro: Reporting, sir! Ichigo Kurosaki and (Y/N) (L/N) have successfully defeated Ginjo Kugo in the World of the Living!

Kiyone: The captains dispatched to observe the battle have also safely returned. Retrieval of Kugo Ginjo's body is complete.

Ukitake: I see. What about Ichigo and (Y/N)?

Sentaro: Sir, Ichigo Kurosaki and (Y/N) (L/N) is safe.

Ukitake: Thank goodness.

Both Ichigo and (Y/N) were walking through the Seireitei, heading towards Squad 1's barracks to meet Yamamoto. As the two substitute shinigamis walked, the ran into Renji.

Ichigo: Hey, Renji!

(Y/N): Hello there!

Renji: Yo.

...

Renji: Hey, wait a minute! What brings you two here?

(Y/N): You make it sound like I don't visit.

Renji: The only time you come by is when you have to report to the Head Captain about anything regarding Hueco Mundo. And we know you've been dealing with the fullbringers for the last week, so there's nothing here for you to report!

Ichigo: We came to talk to the Old man.

Renji: At least have some respect and call him "Head Captain"! And what are you here to talk to him about anyway?

(Y/N): It's in regards to Ginjo.

Renji: Huh? Sounds pretty important then... Fine I'll come with.

When the three shinigamis got to their destination, they were met with most of the Captains already present.

(Y/N): What's this? Are you guys all here to greet us?

Soi-Fon: Not everyone. Kurotsuchi and Ukitake aren't here.

Kensei: Anyway, come inside. The Old Man is waiting for you.

Ichigo: Kensei! You're a captain now?!

Kensei: Shut up! I said go on in. I'm sure you didn't come here to chitchat.

Entering the barracks, (Y/N) and Ichigo came face to face with Yamamoto.

Yamamoto: Ichigo Kurosaki. (Y/N) (L/N). You both fought admirably.

Ichigo: Oh, let's forget about that. We didn't come here today to be praised for our efforts.

Yamamoto: Then what did you come for?

(Y/N): It's about Ginjo's body, that you had Renji retrieve. We want to bring it back to the World of the Living and give it a proper burial.

Everyone present was surprised at the suggestion. Just then Shinji walked up to talk to the two Substitute Shinigamis.

Shinji: Are you crazy? Do you realize what you're asking?!

Ichigo: Shinji?

Soi-Fon: He's right! That man is a heinous villain who stole the powers of many Shinigamis and murdered them one after another! How could you-

Shinji: That's not what I meant! Listen, you two. That guy orchestrated everything that has happened in the past week. His actions messed up your family and your friends. Can you forgive a guy like that? Or rather should you?

(Y/N): I can sympathize with him. But sympathizing doesn't mean I agree with his actions. He did a lot of horrible things and that does require punishment at the end of the day.

Ichigo: And it's not about forgiveness. Our family and friends are back to the way they were. We're still alive. And he's just a Substitute Shinigami.

Yamamoto: Ichigo Kurosaki. (Y/N) (L/N). Can I assume you've said those words after considering all the ramifications?

Ichigo: Screw the ramifications! We simply want to do that for him as a fellow Substitute Shinigami, since we're going to continue to be one.

(Y/N): At least phrase it a bit more politely...

Shinji: So that's it...

Yamamoto spoke without a second thought.

Yamamoto: I will grant your request.

(Y/N): Thank you Head Captain.

Ichigo: Okay, then we'll be going.

(Y/N) and Ichigo then started to leave before (Y/N) stopped abruptly.

(Y/N): Oh, one more thing. Can you consider telling any Shinigami that comes to Karakura Town about the existence of the combat pass. It'll lead to less misunderstandings in the future.

Yamamoto: I'll make sure of it.

(Y/N): Thank you, once again.

The two substitute shinigami returned to the World of the Living to give Ginjo a proper burial.

Fullbringer arc has finally come to an end. Now what's next?

I was originally going to drop maybe 3 or 4 epilogue chapters then write TYBW, but then i started watching summary videos on the "Spirits Are Forever With You" Light novels and got like a ton of ideas.

Only issue is that the SAFWY Light novels took place during the timeskip between The Arrancar and Fullbring arc. I'm long past that timeline of events.

So I was thinking tweaking some events that happen to fit into the small 2 month timeskip in between the Fullbringer arc and the TYBW Arc or creating an arc heavily inspired by it.

Now the only translation for the SAFWY Light novel that we have officially is the event in Bleach Brave Souls (Which I don't play) but its all I have to go off that isn't a fan translated summary.

If I do make this an arc it'll most likely be a mini arc (It won't be as long as the rest of the arcs. I'm think about 4-5 chapters max)

It'll take me a few days to plan things out, and another few days to write it all, especially since the SAFWY event has like 3 hours of cutscenes. I'll have to make sure I don't mess anything up timeline wise or mess up any consistences.

Now for the TYBW stuff...

I'll be honest I'm thinking about taking the TYBW arc pretty slowly. The anime has been adding tons of new content and although I am a manga reader, I've been using both the manga and anime for reference. And although the TYBW anime have added alot of new scenes, they also took some out as well.

By the time I start planning or writing the TYBW arc, Cour 3 should be premiering. So there's a possibility that I'll probably go on Hiatus around Cour 3's ending and wait until Cour 4 drops to finish the story.
