Roka was in an alleyway, hiding from the group that was out to find her. She wasn't sure why they were out for her. They couldn't have found out her identity that quickly... right?

Roka: *thinking* Maybe I should just let myself be captured... No, Master Szayelaporro needs my assistance!

Roka: *thinking* Why do I exist? What purpose do I serve?

If Roka was being completely honest, she knew Szayelaporro didn't need her. Nobody did. He said so many times in the past.

Szayelaporro: You have no free will. Were it not for me, you would be nothing more than a rock kicked to the side of the road.

Roka: *thinking* Master Szayelaporro is simply giving me a purpose, that's why I have to help him with his goal.

As Roka was deep in thought, she was taken out of it by a hollow stepping into the alleyway she was hiding in. To be specific it was one of (Y/N)'s summons. Luppi Antenor.

Roka: *thinking* Have they decided to get more physical for my capture? Fighting will slow me down. I'll have to simply avoid him for now.

Roka made a run for it, using Sonido to blink out of view. However, Roka quickly realized that she didn't have many places to hide. Between (Y/N)'s hollows and the rest of the Karakura team, they covered a lot of ground, meaning they now have a good view of her whereabouts.

Roka: *thinking* I have no choice but to kill the weaker hollows and find another way to give them the slip.

Unfortunately for Roka, the moment she left her hiding spot, she was met with multiple Menos Grande tearing through the sky.

Roka: *Thinking* They're planning to forcefully go back to Hueco Mundo with Negación!

The Menos Grande shot a beam of light at Roka's location. Roka desperately dodged the beam of light and summoned a Garganta to hide in.

From (Y/N)'s point of view, he felt Roka's spiritual pressure vanished the moment he saw the Menos Grande fire the Negacion. (Y/N) wasn't upset though. In fact, a smile appeared on his face.

(Y/N): *thinking* We got her.

In the Garganta.

Roka hid herself in the Garganta, just as (Y/N) speculated.

Roka: I do hope Master Szayelaporro is almost done. I'm not sure I can keep hiding in the World of the Living.

"Eh? That weakling is back, huh?"

Roka jumped after hearing another voice suddenly speak. She turned around and saw Grimmjow standing behind her.

Roka: Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez... I didn't think you'd involve yourself in this situation...

Grimmjow: I couldn't care less what happens to you.

Roka: Huh? Then-

Grimmjow: Shut up and surrender if you don't want to die.

Roka: You just said-

Grimmjow: "I couldn't care less what happens to you." What I mean is I don't care enough to keep you alive if you don't heed the first warning. So what's it going to be?

Roka: ... Then do it...

Grimmjow: Huh? Well you asked for it...

However, before Grimmjow could harm Roka, he was hit in the head by Nelliel.

Nelliel: (Y/N)'s instructions weren't to kill her! All he asked was that you cut off her escape route. (Y/N) won't hold up his end of the deal if you don't hold up yours.

Grimmjow gave a scowl in response before speaking.

Grimmjow: Whatever... You can handle the rest by yourself.

Nelliel: Of course!

Nelliel walked up to Roka and spoke to her.

Nelliel: Long time no see, Roka. I do wish it was under better circumstances but it's good to see you again.

Roka didn't look Nelliel in the eye but spoke anyway.

Roka: Y-yeah...

Nelliel: Relax, you're not in any trouble, at least not yet.

Roka: Not yet?

Nelliel: We don't quite know what you're helping Szayelaporro with but we need you to tell us what his plan is.

Roka stayed quiet, not wanting to risk punishment from Szayelaporro. Grimmjow spoke up.

Grimmjow: We can just kill him whether we find out what his plan is or not. Why did we need to capture her in the first place? It's clear as day she's just a distraction for Szayelaporro. Why not just kill him?

Nelliel: We all know Roka is just a distraction, but the reason why she works as a distraction is because she isn't attacking anyone. The moment she does the Soul Society will come after her. Szayelaporro wants Roka to take the eyes off of him as much as possible. We just don't know what's so important that he would want everyone to be so distracted from him.

Roka: He's just using me... Master Szayelaporro wants to regain control of his lab in Las Noches, but that's all I know of what he wants...

Nelliel: What?

Roka: You all found out my purpose... I'm now useless in the eyes of Master Szayelaporro. I'm sure he'll just throw me away the moment he finds out.

Nelliel: Who cares about what Szayelaporro thinks. Once he's taken care of you'll be free to be your own person. No one to tell you what your purpose is. You'll get to choose that for yourself.

...

Roka: Am I really allowed to give myself a purpose?

Nelliel: Of course! Everyone is allowed to choose what they want to do with their lives!

Roka still seemed to be unsure on what to do. Nelliel picked up Roka and threw her over her shoulders before she could even speak.

Nelliel: If you're having doubts then let's clear them up! What do you say Grimmjow? Wanna come to the World of the Living with us?

Grimmjow: No thanks. I'll return to Hueco Mundo.

Nelliel stuck her tongue out at Grimmjow as the arrancar walked to the opposite end of the Garganta.

Nelliel: Talk about a party pooper... Well no matter, everyone in the World of the Living are nice people. You'll soon realize how much fun it is to be able to do whatever you want!

Roka couldn't find the words to retaliate as Nelliel went through the Garganta to the World of the Living.

(Meanwhile) (Y/N)'s POV

After the long winded search attempt for Roka, Team Karakura Town finally reconvene at Urahara Shop.

Uryu: So the plan worked?

(Y/N): Yep. I came to the conclusion that no matter what we did, Roka would have always outran us if we didn't plan to use force. So I simply tricked her into believing we were.

Ichigo: Huh? How did you do that?

(Y/N) I summoned Luppi to confront her. I assumed if she truly knew our abilities, she would take an arrancar confrontation as a form of physical force being used. With all of us covering different parts of town, she couldn't move around as freely as she could before. That would lead her to either confront the lesser hollows to make a getaway, or stay and fight the Luppi, forcing her to stay in her location. But that's only if she wanted to stay in the World of the Living.

Chad: What do you mean?

(Y/N): Well, whenever we got close to her position during our patrol, her spirit pressure would suddenly disappear and for a long time as well. And whenever it did reappear, it would be in a completely different area than before. It led me to believe she was using the Garganta as a hiding spot in cases of emergencies. Afterall, you can't sense a being if they're in another realm. So I thought to myself, "Why won't she just flee to Hueco Mundo and stay there?" She's staying out of Hueco Mundo for a reason. And I used that against her.

Orihime: So that's why you used the Menos Grande to use Negacion!

(Y/N): Bingo!

Uryu: And with that, Roka is forced to use the Garganta, where her hiding spot is occupied by other arrancars. Is that the gist of it?

(Y/N): Yep.

Chad: And to be clear, you said that Nelliel and Grimmjow were the two you chose?

(Y/N): That's right.

Ichigo: Okay, that's good and all but one question...

(Y/N): Ask away.

Ichigo: WHY DIDN'T YOU MENTION THAT GRIMMJOW WAS ALIVE ALL THIS TIME!

(Y/N): I should be asking you that question. I was under the impression you killed him in your fight in Hueco Mundo. I didn't have the time to confirm since I was too busy trying to survive against Harribel. Imagine my surprise when Harribel told me Grimmjow was still alive. When she said that, I just assumed you left him alive.

Ichigo: I mean, I did intend to leave him alive... But Nnoitra tried to take him out right after our fight ended...

(Y/N): I haven't seen this Nnoitra guy. I only felt his spiritual pressure when he entered the fight. Though to be fair, Starrk's also showed up at the same time so I couldn't spend time observing your battle that extensively...

Uryu: We're getting off topic. Are you sure that both of them could restrain Roka?

(Y/N): Positive. I chose Nel because she'd be sure to reassure Roka we aren't going to hurt her. However if she chose to become aggressive, Grimmjow wouldn't hesitate to fight back.

Ichigo: How did you even persuade him to help?

(Y/N): I made a deal with him.

Ichigo: What could Grimmjow possibly- Don't tell me you promise to fight him!

(Y/N): Sure did. What's with that tone? It sounds like you're judging me...

Ichigo: I am judging you! Grimmjow fights people to kill, you idiot!

(Y/N): I don't wanna hear that from the guy that told Orihime to heal Grimmjow so he could have a fair fight.

Ichigo: That's different! We were settling a grudge!

(Y/N): Screw the grudge! We were in the middle of a rescue mission! That was irresponsible!

Ichigo: Just like what you're doing right now!?

(Y/N): Do you really think anyone in Hueco Mundo is going to allow Grimmjow to kill me?

Ichigo: Do you think anyone in Hueco Mundo can convince Grimmjow not to kill you?

(Y/N): Ichigo, my dear friend and sworn brother. Are you insinuating that I'd lose against Grimmjow?

Ichigo: Insinu- what? Whatever! Just think before you act-

Uryu: Alright you two, that's enough.

"He's right, you two are bickering in front of the shop. You'll scare off the customers."

Entering the conversation was Calavera, who opened the sliding door of the shop.

(Y/N): Oh, Cal, what are you doing here?

Calavera: I came here for training. Why are you guys gathering at the door?

(Y/N): Just got done patrolling.

Calavera: Well don't just stand there, come on in.

Uryu: She's right. Let's go inside.

"Wait for us!"

Another voice entered the conversation as Nelliel came running with Roka still thrown over her shoulder.

(Y/N): Nel! Perfect timing!

The group walked into Urahara Shop. Urahara himself noticed the huge group making their way inside the shop.

Urahara: Quite the group we have today.

(Y/N): Yeah. We need to find out what our next course of action is going to be. We still have our main culprit running around.

Urahara: And what are you going to do with your "hostage".

(Y/N): Please don't make it sound like we're the bad guys.

Ichigo: Have you heard anything from Yoruichi, Mr. Urahara?

Urahara: No, not as of yet.

Nelliel: Well we do have a lead on Szayelaporro.

Uryu: We have Roka Paramia, she can tell us what Szayelaporro wants.

Nelliel: Well not necessarily...

Chad: Huh? Why not?

Roka: Master Szayelaporro never told me his end goal. The last thing he told me was that he wanted to retrieve his lab in Las Noches.

(Y/N): So Wiz is most likely Szayelaporro's next target. I'll give her a heads up.

However, right before (Y/N) could call Wiz, his phone rang.

(Y/N): What coincidental timing...

(Y/N) answered his phone.

(Y/N): Hello-

"Where are you right now!"

(Y/N): Huh? Soi-Fon? I-I'm at Urahara's Shop. Why-"

"Stay where you are! Yoruichi and I are on our way!"

(Y/N): Huh? Can you explain what's going on?

"We'll explain when we get there! But if you run into another shinigami with a Squad 11 captain's coat, run away immediately!"

(Y/N): A-alright... It sounds serious...

"It is. Your life may very well be on the line."

(Y/N): I beg your pardon?
