In Hueco Mundo
A mountain of hollow corpses littered the deserts of Hueco Mundo. Grimmjow looked from the distance, knowing exactly who did it.
Grimmjow: We've only known that the bastard's been alive for a day and he's already plotting. But if he's already considered an enemy-
Grimmjow's face grew a devious grin.
Grimmjow: -that just means nobody would have a problem if I killed him.
(Meanwhile) In Urahara Shop
(F/N): You're losing control again. Slow down how much spiritual energy you're pushing throughout your body. Only increase the amount you are using once you've controlled the current amount you have now.
(F/N) instructed (Y/N). (F/N) then started to give (Y/N) a bit more advice, drawing from his experiences with (M/N)'s ability. As (F/N) was lecturing his son, Soi-Fon and Yoruichi observed the duo. Soi-Fon realized she never saw (F/N) fight before. (F/N) was on the scene of the fullbringer fight but everyone was separated to fight their respective opponent.
Soi-Fon: Yoruichi, how strong is (L/N)?
Yoruichi: He's on a completely different level than any of the fullbringers if that's what you're wondering. Urahara calls (F/N) the "strongest human on earth" for a reason.
Soi-Fon: The strongest?
Yoruichi nodded before continuing.
Yoruichi: The day that (Y/N)'s mother was killed by Aizen, (F/N) took on Gin, Tosen and Aizen by himself out of sheer anger.
Soi-Fon: Are you serious?
Yoruichi: Yeah. And according to (Y/N), Harribel was forced to leave during their first encounter because (F/N) came in to save him. Aizen's orders were to flee on sight if (F/N) was to appear. If I had to guess, Aizen limited his interactions with the world of the living in order to avoid (F/N), at least until he was able to fuse with the Hogyoku.
Soi-Fon: It's because of his ability, right?
Yoruichi: That's the main reason, but that doesn't take away how strong (F/N) is without it.
Yoruichi and Soi-Fon turned back to the father and son and realized that (Y/N) was looking a lot more confident in his control of spiritual energy.
At the same time, Nelliel and Roka made their way to the training grounds. If Roka was being honest, she felt (Y/N)'s spiritual energy the moment he entered the training grounds. She knew the shinigami was trying his hardest to come up with some sort of plan to stop Azashiro. She had to admit that it was actually inspiring to see someone work this hard. Maybe she should do the same, after all, both of their lives were on the line here.
Nelliel saw Roka staring and decided to spark a conversation.
Nelliel: Pretty cool, huh? (Y/N) is always like that. Whenever he visits Hueco Mundo, he'd always tell us cool stories about things that happen in the World of the Living before he goes off to train and study with Wiz. Sometimes he even brings back gifts for us. He works really hard, but he's also fun to hang around with too!
Roka: I see...
Meanwhile, (Y/N) dropped his spiritual pressure as he took another break.
(F/N): Alright, you're picking up on things faster than I expected.
(Y/N): Really? Guess I'm on my way to becoming the third Shunko user.
Yoruichi: Hate to rain on your parade but you'd be the fourth.
(Y/N): Fourth? Who's the third? The only people who found the technique were you and Soi-Fon weren't you?
Yoruichi: I've also been teaching Yushiro since my banishment has been lifted.
(Y/N): Yushiro?
Yoruichi: My brother.
(Y/N): Oh right, you mentioned him earlier... What's he like?
Yoruichi: He's a polite and caring kid, kinda like you. Although that's where the similarities end. On the other hand, he tends to be impulsive and oblivious.
(Y/N): I guess we'd get along.
(Y/N) then turned around and saw Nelliel and Roka at the entrance of the Training grounds.
(Y/N): Yo! Nel! Roka!
(Y/N) waved towards the two. (Y/N) then turned towards his father and two friends.
(Y/N): I'll be right back.
(Y/N) walked towards Nelliel and Roka.
(Y/N): What are you guys doing here? In the training grounds, I mean.
Nelliel: Well, there isn't much to do in the shop so we decided to look around.
(Y/N) thought about it. It wouldn't be good to stick in the Urahara Shop for a long period of time. For one, it would be boring. Two, it would make themselves easier to find. Sure walking around town is just as dangerous, but the fact of the matter is, they'll be found sooner or later.
Besides, (Y/N) has been training for hours on end. He could probably take a break and take Roka and Nel around The World of the Living and relieve some boredom. They could return in time for school to end and they could meet Ichigo and the others at Urahara Shop to continue planning for Azashiro's eventual arrival.
This is also a good time to show Roka how to enjoy life. Living with "Szayelaporro" must have been traumatizing, so now would be a good time to show her what she was missing out on.
(Y/N): Well, how about we walk around town? We'll come back in time for Ichigo and the others to come back.
Roka: I-I wouldn't want to get in the way of your training... You look busy.
(Y/N): Nah, don't worry about it. I don't want to overexert myself anyway. Besides, this is a good chance for you to see what you've been missing out on.
Roka: What do you mean?
(Y/N): Good food, great entertainment, and even better friends... Well the last part can happen anywhere but you get the idea!
Roka: I don't believe I do...
(Y/N): We're going to hang out. Like friends do.
Roka: Friends? You consider me a friend? We were just enemies yesterday...
(Y/N): Not on your own free will. And besides, you didn't hurt anyone while you were and no reports said you hurt anyone in the Soul Society during the attack. So I know you're a good person.
Despite his kind demeanor, Roka still couldn't bring herself to smile. Roka looked down in sadness.
(Y/N): Huh? W-what's the matter? I didn't say something that upset you, did I?
Roka: No it's not your fault. I don't even know why I have this expression on my face.
Nelliel and (Y/N) looked at each other, immediately understanding the situation. This was a situation of self discovery for Roka. She had to discover her self worth.
Nelliel: Don't worry! You'll be smiling in no time!
(Y/N): Yeah. I'll return to my body. Nel, you got a Gigai from Mr. Urahara, right?
Nelliel: Uh huh!
(Y/N): First thing's first. We need to find a way to cover up both of your hollow masks.
Nelliel: Hm? Is it that big of a deal?
(Y/N): Well, it's definitely not the norm. Normally odd looks are all you'd score from the general public. Some people might think you're cosplaying. But this time around getting attention might just score us a visit from Azashiro if he's already in the World of the Living.
Nelliel: So does that mean we should just standby?
(Y/N): Well we can always visit the least populated areas, at least until we can solve our mask problem.
"Worry not, leave it to me!"
(Y/N) turned around and saw Urahara.
(Y/N): Mr. Urahara? What do you mean?
Urahara: Ms. Paramia. Ms. Odelschwanck. Follow me.
As the two girls followed Urahara, Soi-Fon walked towards (Y/N).
Soi-Fon: And where are you going?
(Y/N): I volunteered to show Nel and Roka around town.
Soi-Fon was about to argue that it was a bad idea but quickly stopped herself.
Soi-Fon: As much as I want to say this is a bad idea, I know you'll argue otherwise...
(Y/N): Well why don't you come along? Come on, I'm treating.
Soi-Fon: Well... If you insist. Just for the record, I'm just coming along to keep an eye on you. We don't know when Azashiro will strike, so keep your eyes peeled.
(Y/N): Thanks.
Soi-Fon: You don't need to thank me.
(Y/N): Of course I do. You came all this way from Soul Society just help me. You heard my life was in danger and you immediately stuck your neck out just to help my chances of survival.
Soi-Fon: It was only natural...
(Y/N): Not really. Not many people have friends who'd risk their lives for them. I'm just lucky to have people like you who'd do that for me. Just thought I'd show my appreciation, you know?
Soi-Fon: I-I get already... Just... get ready to leave.
(Y/N): Alright then, I'll meet you in front of the shop in a few minutes.
(Y/N) took off, Yoruichi and (F/N) saw the entire conversation unfold.
Yoruichi: Geez, those two can't be anymore obvious...
(F/N): I'm sure (Y/N)'s just holding off until he's 18 before he confesses.
Yoruichi: The kid's responsible at least. Though, I think the problem is whether or not Soi-Fon knows (Y/N) likes her back.
(F/N): I'm sure she'll catch on soon enough.
(F/N) got up to leave.
Yoruichi: You're heading out already?
(F/N): Yeah. I'm sure (Y/N)'s got the gist of things. He just needs some time to put his practice to use.
Yoruichi: Say, before you leave... Tell me something.
(F/N): What is it?
Yoruichi: Are you not going to help (Y/N) fight Azashiro?
(F/N): Is he stronger than Aizen?
Yoruichi: No.
(F/N): Then I'm positive (Y/N) can win. Especially with his friend's help. But just in case I'll observe things from afar.
Yoruichi: I hope you'd do something. You'd be a terrible father otherwise.
(F/N): Heh, I'm not Ryuken or Isshin. I just want my son to be able to take on his foes without me being there to hold his hand. Tough love, you know?
Yoruichi: Sure, call it that if you want.
(F/N): I don't like that sarcasm in your voice. Anyway, speaking of those two goofballs, I think I'll pay them a visit.
Yoruichi: What for?
(F/N): For drinks.
(F/N) walked off after saying that. Yoruichi only sighed.
Yoruichi: That idiot. I know he doesn't drink. But it must be about something important.
To be continued.
