Grimmjow rushed towards Cien as he activated his resurreccion.

Grimmjow: GRIND, PANTERA!

Grimmjow's appearance changed to become more panther-like. Grimmjow immediately launched his strongest attack, Desgarrón.

First set of claw-like Reishi blades were narrowly dodged by Cien.



However, the second set of claws made its mark, hitting Cien point blank in the chest.

Cien: Not a bad attack Grimmjow, but the difference in our strength is far too vast for you to do any meaningful damage!

Just then, felt something bite him

Cien: Who in the-

Cien turned around and saw a pack of wolves digging their fangs into each of his tentacles.

Cien: Starrk? You son of a-

In that moment, every wolf that bit into Cien, exploded upon impact. Cien shook off the attack, although a bit dazed. In the middle of his slight confusion, Nelliel, in her resurreccion, threw her Lance.

Nelliel: Lanzador Verde!

Nelliel's lance dug itself into Cien's chest, though Cien stopped it from piercing his heart.

Cien: That was a good attack, Nelliel! If you had hit me with that during my time in the Garganta, I would've been dead!

Cien used multiple tentacles and pointed each of them towards each of his attackers. A cero was fired out of the tentacles.

Everyone tried to combat the cero in their own unique way.

Nelliel used Cero Doble to absorb the cero and return the cero back, stronger than it was originally.

Starrk countered the Cero was his own Cero.

Grimmjow overpowered Cien's cero with a Gran Rey Cero.

Both Nelliel's Cero Doble and Grimmjow's Gran Rey Cero made contact with Cien. Blood was dripping from Cien's face after the counterattack.

Nelliel: I think... we're making progress...

Grimmjow: Don't let up now! Keep attacking! At that moment one of Cien's tentacles wrapped around Grimmjow's leg. Cien then proceeded to lift Grimmjow in the air before slamming him into the ground repeatedly. In response to this, a pillar of water rained down on Cien as Harribel finally made her move, casting Cascada to attack Cien with torrent of water.



This attack forced Cien to drop Grimmjow.

Cien: So the new Ruler is finally joining the fight?

Harribel: Ever since you've come to the realization that you're not Szayelaporro, you've been very sloppy.

Cien: And why do you say that?

Immediately, a fighter who hasn't made himself known since the fight started joined the fray.



Chad landed a devastating hit to Cien's face, knocking him to the floor.

Cien simply laughed despite being knocked around by the group.

Cien: This was amusing, I must say! But I think playtime is over. I've grown tired of these games. I can't keep Zaraki waiting!

Cien then charged multiple Gran Rey Ceros, aiming them at everybody in the nearby area. Harribel was the first to notice and warned everyone.

Harribel: EVERYONE, TAKE COVER!

The explosion went off engulfing the surrounding area in light.



As the explosion cleared, Grimmjow, Chad, and Nelliel were all knocked out. Starrk however was standing. Cien smiled in response.

Cien: Still standing, eh? I guess you were Number 1 for a reason! Fine then! Just you and me Starrk! Let's fight to the death at full strength!

Starrk: For a scientist, you're really bad at math...

Cien: Huh?

"Trident"

In that moment, Harribel slashed Cien from behind, leaving a huge gash in his back and even cutting off a few of his tentacles.

Harribel: You've gotten sloppy, I've told you already, didn't I?

Cien: Maybe... But then again, that attack would've normally killed someone. Are you sure you aren't the one getting sloppy? Look at yourself! You took just as much damage as the rest of them!

Harribel indeed took a lot of damage to the Gran Rey Cero that Cien fired right before Harribel's attack.

Harribel: They've done more than I have, so I'll make sure their hard work isn't in vain.

Harribel fired multiple shots of La Gota at Cien, but the Arrancar simply rushed towards Harribel, taking every shot head on before throwing a punch at her. Harribel blocked it with her sword.

Starrk used Colmillo, pulling out two blades of reishi and thrusting one of the swords and nearly stabbing Cien in the eye. The blade grazed Cien but the second blade stabbed Cien in the shoulder. Cien retaliated by using one of his last few tentacles to knock Starrk away from him.

Cien: At this rate you'll all die! Isn't that exciting?!

"Ironic for a Caput Mortumm like yourself to speak about death."

Cien turned around and saw an unfamiliar person on the battlefield.

Cien: And who might you be?

(End Song)

(Flashback) (Y/N) POV

(Y/N) and Wiz retreated slightly to meet up with Chad and Orihime. (Y/N) noticed

(Y/N): How are you guys holding up?

Orihime: Fine... though I'm worried for Nelliel and the others.

Chad: What are you planning to do?

(Y/N): Me and Wiz are going to attempt the Quimera Parca technique... Though I guess we can't call it Quimera Parca anymore.

Orihime: What kind of technique is it?

(Y/N): Me and Wiz are going to create a whole new arrancar by sacrificing a body part and combining it, similarly to Harribel's fraccion.

(Y/N) then released his Shikai reverting back to his original shinigami form. But (Y/N) didn't stay in that form for long before activating his resurreccion and Wiz followed suit.

(Y/N): Are you ready, Wiz?

Wiz: Of course.

Both (Y/N) and Wiz took out one of their eyes and held it forward. The eye then dissolved into reishi as both combined. The two arrancars started to pour more spiritual energy into the technique as the reishi started to grow.

(Y/N): Remember what we talked about Wiz.

Wiz: I have it memorized, don't worry.

Both (Y/N) and Wiz then spoke in unison

"Here we perform the complete unification of polarities: spirit and matter, body and soul, masculine and feminine, to form a single whole."

The shapeless heap of reishi then started to take form as the reishi being produced started to rise.

Wiz: This is the hardest part... (Y/N), do you have control?

(Y/N): Way better control than our previous attempts, that's for sure!

Wiz: Good, just hold out a little longer!

The creation in question then started to glow a bright light before taking a more humanoid shape.

(Y/N): Did- Did we do it?

As the light died down, a figure stood in front of the four individuals.

Chad: It looks like someone is there...

(Y/N): Yeah, we usually get that part down, it's whether or not it can move and communicate.

At this point, both Wiz and (Y/N) had regenerated the eyeball they sacrificed for the technique. Wiz looked towards (Y/N).

Wiz: Do you want to do the honors, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Sure...

(Y/N) walked towards the being standing in front of him and introduced himself.

(Y/N): H-hi, my name is-

???: (Y/N) (L/N), one of my creators, it's a pleasure to finally be able to communicate with you at last.

(Y/N) was astonished. He and Wiz actually pulled it off.

(Y/N): We... We did it! Wiz we actually did it!

Wiz: Thank goodness... This was almost two years in the making...

(Y/N) turned to Orihime and Chad.

(Y/N): Chad. Orihime. You two just witnessed the creation of a homunculus by two Arrancars.

Orihime and Chad looked at each other in amazement.

Orihime: That's so cool!

Chad: I agree. I didn't know that was even possible.

(Y/N): Neither did we.

Wiz: then turned to the homunculus.

Wiz: Do you have a name?

???: Ah, Waleska Inez Zulema, my second creator. I do not have a name currently.

(Y/N) and Wiz looked at each other before forming a huddle between the two of them. After a few seconds of discussion, the two turned around.

(Y/N): How about...

(End Song)

(Back to the Present)

???: If you're really curious, then I'll gladly tell you! The name graciously granted to me is Azoth! I'm sure one with an extensive knowledge of alchemy such as yourself knows the meaning of the name!



The being now known as Azoth introduced herself to Cien. Cien observed Azoth and noticed that her spiritual pressure was through the roof, and it was unique as well.

Cien: What exactly are you? You don't seem to be a normal Arrancar, if one at all. I don't see a hollow mask.

Azoth smirked as Cien asked the question.

Azoth: I'll gladly tell you! I was born from the body and soul of the infamous Witch of Heuco Mundo and Grim Reaper of the World of the Living and Soul Society!

Cien looked wide eyed before letting out a laugh.

Cien: The Grim Reaper? Are you referring to (Y/N)? Do you even hear yourself? The Grim Reaper creating life? Unheard of!

Azoth: Think of it as him bestowing his immortality onto me!

Cien: Oh? Are you implying that you are in possession of a Philosopher stone?

Azoth: How about you face my unrivaled strength and intelligence and find out!

Cien: Then I'll gladly accept your offer!

(Y/N) and Wiz watched the conversation from a distance. (Y/N) looked at Wiz and stared at her blankly.

(Y/N): Why do I feel like you had more of an impact on Azoth then I did?

Wiz: Whatever do you mean~

(Y/N): The technique was supposed to be a perfect balance of the both of us. Though Azoth does take more of your feminine appearance and your personality back when we first met.

Wiz: I guess that makes sense. Considering we used spiritual alchemy as inspiration for the technique, we pulled off Coagulation. Azoth should've been more androgynous by appearance.

(Y/N): I guess it doesn't matter. I'm just happy we pulled off Homúnculo Parca.

Wiz: Is that what we're calling it now?

(Y/N): You don't like it?

Wiz: No I think it's fine. I just wasn't expecting you to change the name.

(Y/N): Well we didn't create a Chimera. We created a Homunculus, kinda...

The two watched as Azoth got ready to face off against Cien.

I couldn't wait to introduce this arrancar to everyone. Haven't written one of these long End-of-chapter author notes in a while so bare with me. I put a lot of work on research creating this character so I kinda wanted ramble about it (and it would explain a lot about the character itself).

-A fun fact was when I was creating the story initially, when I was thinking about what the overall theme of (Y/N) should be, it was originally an alchemist rather than the Grim Reaper. This would still fit into the whole "immortal" thing that (Y/N) has going on. Had I went down this wrote, the story would've went in an insanely different route. And I mean "Extremely" different. Different Zanpakuto spirit, different backstory, heck- (Y/N) wouldn't even have any Hollow heritage. I wasn't sure if I would even create another story after this (especially a bleach story, this ish is long af) so I thought, "might as well recycle those ideas in some way so that they don't go to waste".

-As many of you can already tell, Azoth is character heavily influenced by alchemy. The name itself is in reference to the universal medication/solvent in alchemy that alchemist made their ultimate goal (alongside the Philospher's stone).

- One thing that I should bring up is that during her introduction, Azoth called Cien a "Caput Mortumm" . In Alchemy, a Caput Mortumm is useless substance left over from a chemical operation such as sublimation and the epitome of decline and decay. This is direct reference to the fact that Cien is leftover spiritual energy and memories from the original Szayelaporro.

-The creation Azoth is a direct reference to the seventh stage of spiritual alchemy called Coagulation. Both (Y/N) and Wiz recited what Coagulation was. the complete unification of polarities: spirit and matter, body and soul, masculine and feminine, to form a single whole. Azoth can almost be considered a direct fusion of (Y/N) and Wiz, although Azoth is her own being.

-Speaking of Coagulation. Most beings depicted in art of alchemy are depicted as androgynous as said by the final step of Coagulation, " Masculine and feminine". It's suppose to be a hard to tell what gender someone is after the stage but I decided to allow Azoth to be more feminine for a few reasons.

1. (Y/N) doesn't have a female hollow in his arsenal yet.

2. Azoth designs shares alot of resemblences to Wiz and that was intentional.

3. Speaking of Wiz, I wanted to bring back the chunnibyou personality she had in her small form when she was first introduced. Sure it was all an act but it would be funny to write a character that genuinely did act like that. And it would fit her the best as a being who's completed the 7 stages of spiritual alchemy was said to be enlightened. Azoth would be aware of how strong she truly is.

- I change the name of the technique to Homúnculo Parca. As explained by (Y/N) Quimera Parca, the technique used by the Tres Besita created Ayon, a Chimera. I mentioned it before by Quimera Parca means "Reaper Chimera" so Homúnculo Parca would mean "Reaper Homunculus"

-The Grim Reaper creating life is very contradictory to its existence which I found was an interesting idea to mess around with. Because of this, I thought, "why not make a Homunculus that could use Alchemy".

The homunculus in psychology refers to the theory of something separate from the body, living inside, who is the essence of who we are. In this case, the "seperate from the body" is a reference to (Y/N) and Wiz sacrifacing their eye in order to create Azoth (another mini reference is that a term used for finding enlightment is "opening your third eye")

This is also why Azoth said (Y/N) "bestowed immortality upon her". The goal of alchemy is to create the Philosopher's Stone. A substance alchemist believed was an elixir of life that was capable of rejuvenation and immortality.

There's so much more I want to talk about with Azoth but they'll have to wait until next chapter as that's when the rest of the information will become relevant. (Trust me, I've been cooking this idea since I brought it up during the foreshadowing before the fullbring arc).
