Right after Ichigo and (Y/N)'s departure to the Soul Society.

After Quilge's defeat at the hands of (Y/N) and his departure alongside Ichigo to assist Soul Society, Chad, Orihime, Lilynette and Calavera moved up towards Urahara.

Chad: Mr. Urahara!

Urahara: Ah, perfect timing! That corpse there should be carrying a palm-sized metal plate. Please find it and bring it to me!

Orihime: Mr. Urahara... Where's Ichigo and (Y/N)?

I had both of them head to the Soul Society. I'll explain later! Right now, I need to analyze the enemy!

Urahara typed away on his computer before somehow adding himself to a phone conversation between Ichigo, (Y/N) and Akon while in the Garganta.

From a decent distance away, the Tres Bestia turned towards Luppi, who for whatever reason, was still in Hueco Mundo.

Apacci: Oi, the hell are you still doing here? Aren't you going with? How are you even standing here in the first place?

Sung-Sun: I'm curious. Is there not a limit to how far apart (Y/N) can be away from someone he summons?

Luppi: No. This isn't the first time (Y/N) left his summon in an entirely different realm than he was.

"Correct. During the Azashiro and Cien incident, (Y/N) left Merlin in the World of the Living while he came here to Hueco Mundo."

Wiz entered the conversation.

Mila Rose: Though, that still doesn't answer the question on why you stayed here. Did (Y/N) not order you to go with him?

Luppi: I can ask you three the same thing. Aren't you three supposed to be "temporary fraccion members?" Why didn't you three go with him?

Apacci: Huh? Well...

Luppi: See? You don't even have an answer. But if you're so curious, it's because I have free will. I don't have to answer (Y/N) if I don't want to. And because there's no range limit, I'm free to do anything I want until (Y/N) feels the need to release my summon.

Mila Rose: I don't understand why (Y/N) would keep you around if you aren't going to help.

Luppi: Just because I work under him doesn't mean we're buddy buddy with each other. I only put up with him because he lets me do whatever I want once I'm summoned.

Wiz: I assume (Y/N) left Luppi as a precaution in the case we need the extra help. I also assume he didn't take us with him because Hueco Mundo is still in need of assistance. Unfortunately, (Y/N) didn't have time to relay anything. It seems the Soul Society is in desperate need of aid.

However as this conversation was going on, the arrancars heard something soaring through the sky. Wiz and the others turned around and watched from a distance as Quilge was being held up by strings of reishi.

Wiz: I thought for sure he died from (Y/N)'s attack? We couldn't even feel his spiritual pressure.

Sung-Sun: He just shot something, didn't he? We can't let him stay alive any further!

Wiz: Already ahead of you.

While Quilge started his monologue he failed to notice when Wiz somehow reappeared at his side.

Wiz: You're a real nuisance.

Bang.



Wiz shot two highly pressurized water bullets directly into Quilge's head, finally ending him for good.

Wiz: Kisuke, is everything alright over here?

Urahara, thankfully, was safe. So was Calavera, Orihime, Lilynette and Chad.

Urahara: No need to worry. We weren't injured, but that little stunt of his did knock some of my equipment around. Hopefully, none of it is broken...

"What the hell are you idiots doing? You should've just ripped his head from his body from the very beginning."

Everyone turned around and saw Grimmjow standing in front of them.

Lilynette: What the hell, Grimmjow?! Where the hell were you this entire time those guys were taking over?

Grimmjow: Shut it! If you haven't remembered, I don't care to stay around Las Noches any longer than I have too. Besides, this wasn't the only palace that had captured Hollows and Arrancars.

Lilynette: You expect me to believe "you" of all people were rescuing people?

"I can vouch for him. After all, he was a big help for us."

Lilynette looked behind Grimmjow and saw Nelliel, Rokka and even Dondochakka present.

Lilynette: You guys are alright!

Nelliel: Yeah. Once the main force left, the fight against the hunting squad wasn't particularly hard but...

Roka: It was more of a battle of endurance. Trying to reserve energy until we could find help was an issue.

Lilynette: What about Starrk? Have you guys found him?

Both Nelliel and Roka both shook their heads, informing Lilynette that they didn't.

Lilynette: Then there's no doubt about it... He was taken alongside Harribel.

Meanwhile, Urahara was starting to think something over.

Orihime: Is something the matter, Mr. Urahara?

Urahara: Before we were interrupted by the enemy here, (Y/N) brought up an interesting theory that I wanted to test out.

Chad: What was it?

Urahara: The Quincy have found a way to steal a Bankai, however, both (Y/N) and Kurosaki's haven't been stolen despite that metal plate clearly making contact with both of them. (Y/N) theorized that it may be due to the Quincies' non-existent resistance to Hollows that prevented them from stealing their Bankai. It's definitely the most likely idea and if that's true then I believe there's a way we can take those stolen Bankai away from the enemy.

Calavera: Really?

Urahara: I'll need more time to confirm it. And I'll need help.

Wiz: Then I'll help out.

Urahara: I couldn't ask for a better assistant. Now, If we're going to find a way to remove a Bankai from a Quincy's possession, we'll need to find out the relationship between Bankai and Hollow spiritual energy.

Wiz: Leave that part to me.

Urahara: Do you have an idea?

Wiz: No, but I do have something that can help us. With (Y/N)'s frequent visits to Hueco Mundo and our multiple attempts at Homunculo Parca, we've tried multiple experiments to find out what went wrong. I have various notes and even blood samples and spiritual energy in reserves straight from (Y/N) himself.

Urahara: Will you still be able to recover them from your lab in Las Noches?

Wiz: Las Noches is too far to travel. Besides who said that was the only lab in my possession. After years of wandering I found multiple abandoned ruins that I fixed up and used for my own research. I occasionally visit them from time to time and leave copies of notes and such there. I'm sure I can find some of the things I mentioned before at one of my old laboratories.

Urahara: Alright then, I'll leave it to you. In the meantime... Ms. Calavera?

Calavera: Huh? Yes?

Urahara: Can I borrow your phone? I'll need to make a call to (F/N) until I can get my computer back online.

Calavera: Uh... sure...

(Meanwhile)

Ryuken: As expected, the idea was good on paper but poor in execution.

(F/N): I think we're missing something...

Isshin: Like what?

(F/N): I don't know... I'm not a scientist here... The closest we have in this room is Ryuken.

Ryuken: You were the one who suggested this idea. You were certain it would work.

(F/N): I said I was "almost" certain it would work.

The three men sat around a makeshift arrow.

Ryuken: We have to be completely sure this concept will work before we use the silver from Kanae's body for the final product.

Isshin: Then maybe we should ask Kisuke. He could probably shoot some ideas our way. Heck, maybe he could iron out our original concept.

(F/N): Yeah, that's probably a good idea...

Right on cue, (F/N) received a call. (F/N) saw it came from Calavera's phone.

(F/N): Didn't Calavera go to Hueco Mundo with (Y/N). I hope everything is alright if she's calling...

(F/N) answered his phone and was met with the exact opposite of who he was expecting.

Urahara: Thanks for picking up, (F/N)! Say how was work?

(F/N): What the-? Hey, Urahara! What are you doing with my daughter's phone!

Urahara: Ah, don't worry about her, she's fine! Not a scratch on her.

(F/N): And (Y/N)?

Urahara: That, I'm unsure of.

(F/N): Where is he?

Urahara: Well, he had no trouble taking care of our enemies here in Hueco Mundo, however, Soul Society needed his help. Alongside Kurosaki's. They were on their way to Soul Society to help out but they appear to be stuck in the garganta due to a last ditch effort from our enemy.

(F/N): That must mean their leader is in Soul Society!

Urahara: I wouldn't get too jumpy if I were you. If they made it a point to shut (Y/N) and Kurosaki in the Garganta, that must mean they don't want them there. Whether they believe those two are a threat or someone to turn the tides in Soul Society's favor is another question.

(F/N): Then find a way to get him out of there.

Urahara: I could, but would that stop (Y/N) from going there again?

(F/N): *sigh* No... it wouldn't... But that doesn't mean you should those two in there.

Urahara: I'll find a way to get them out. If they don't find a way out themselves, that is. Don't stress about it too much, alright. Anyway, I didn't just call you to update you on the situation at hand... I need a little favor.

(F/N): Usually I'd be happy to help, but I'm in the middle of something important. Something I think I'd need your help with.

Urahara: Then I assume it's in relation to the enemy at hand?

(F/N): Yeah.

Urahara: Great, then this will work out for the both of us.

(F/N): What's this favor you need?

Urahara: I need you to find the two fullbringers, Riruka Dokugamine and Yukio Hans Vorarlberna.

(F/N): The hell? What do you need them for? I don't doubt I can find them but I'll need a really good reason for them to trust me enough to tag along.

Urahara: When the world is at stake, do you really think they wouldn't cooperate?

(F/N): *sighs* I'll do my best.

(Meanwhile)

Apacci: Why don't you just die again! Seriously, nobody would miss you!

Luppi: If you want to kill me so badly, why not do it yourself?

Sung-Sun: Please don't fall for his obvious teasing, Apacci...

Mila Rose: So what if he called you a "washboard"... It's not like he's wrong.

Apacci: I'll kill you two, if you keep running your mouth!

As Luppi was antagonizing Apacci (for his own amusement) he suddenly felt his body start to dematerialize suddenly.

Luppi: That's not good...

Sung-Sun: What just happened?

Luppi: I'm fading away... something must've happened to (Y/N)...

Mila Rose: What do you mean?

Luppi: It almost feels like (Y/N)'s spiritual energy is struggling to keep me anchored here. He must be losing consciousness. I'll most likely be unsummoned and returned to (Y/N)'s soul.

Apacci: What? Then we need to find a way to help him out!

Luppi: Whatever floats your boat... Just let everyone know... (Y/N)'s in trouble...

And with that Luppi completely vanished...

This chapter was mostly to show what happened after (Y/N) and Ichigo left Hueco Mundo to go to the Soul Society and what everyone outside of (Y/N)'s group is doing.
